I have, and will continue, to recommend Groups Recover Together! If you're ready to change your life for the better; Groups make it easy! With various days/times to choose from, Intake is quick & private, the Counselor genuinely cares about you, the office manager will handle pharmacy issues, the Dr. knows not everyone's situation is not the same.If you don't have a sitter/car/feeling horrible from detoxing - (one of) THE BEST PART - you can talk, cry or just sit and listen from the privacy of your own home! And for someone like me, who suffers from social anxiety, even picking up the phone to make a Dr. appt can be challenging. I've been attending groups since 2022 when I relapsed after 8 years. And if the day comes where I am off the medication, I would still attend bc it's about more than just sobriety.. it's being there for people when they need someone.

I have been struggling with one form of addiction or another for over half my life. I thought it was a losing battle until one day a simple Google search I found groups recover together. It's like God put this group of people together to help folks deal with it. Everyone and I mean everyone from office manager, providers and counselors are amazing! If you are struggling and think that there's no help. Stop call groups recover together and work with them. They are there for you! I promise it will change your life. I'm going to fight the fight and I have the best help there is thanks to this company! Good luck

I want to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for my case manager, Rebecca, at CTC. From the very beginning, she has been such an important part of my recovery journey. Her support, compassion, and understanding have made a real difference in my life. Rebecca truly listens without judgment and takes the time to understand what I’m going through. She never rushes our sessions — she makes sure I feel heard and supported every step of the way.
Working with her has helped me open up in ways I didn’t think I could. She helps me see things from a healthier perspective and gives me tools to deal with challenges, not just related to addiction but in everyday life too. Rebecca reminds me that recovery is a process, and she celebrates even my small wins — which motivates me to keep going.
She’s honest, kind, and always professional, but she also makes you feel like you’re talking to someone who truly cares. It’s rare to meet someone who has both the heart and the skill for this kind of work, and Rebecca definitely does. I can see how much she genuinely cares about helping her clients move forward and build better lives.

This is a great place. The woman at the front desk is always very friendly. When I first came here, multiple pharmacies were out of Suboxone. She and the doctor went above and beyond to make sure I got my medication that day. Dr Puente is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Eventually I switched to Dr Puente for my psychiatric care also, and have had an excellent experience. The level of care he provides for his patients is better than any doctor I have ever had. I drive 40 miles one way to see Dr Puente.
To anyone struggling, I highly recommend this office and doctor.

Kristina is simply the best. She is so friendly, understanding, generous, wise and supportive. She really makes this extremely difficult process much more palatable and less overwhelming and you feel like you can approach her about any question or issues you might have. While at palm shores i had some rough moments just like when at home, but the support i got there really impacted me more than i could have described to anyone, not only did it help my behavior there, but also at my house and my grandmother tells me everyday how much I've matured and how she is so happy i went there, it truly changed my life for the better. The support I received helped me grow mentally and emotionally, and I’ve seen real improvements in my behavior. Doctors and staff are wonderful. I came in feeling depressed and anxious. Dr. Madj Alsamman knows psychiatry and cares greatly for each patient that comes into the unit. I love him so much! Dr. Dameff is also very knowledgeable and fun!
Naomi has classes each day to help your thinking and behaviors. I learned a great deal from her. I will use the techniques she taught me to navigate the world as I go out from the comfort of Shorepoint Behavioral Hospital.
The RNs like Sandy and Christian are also knowledgeable in behavioral health and are always willing to lend an ear and advice to patients. The techs like Maryellen are so concerned for the people there as well.
My time there was well worth it.

BoardPrep Recovery really changed my life! I was broken and not in a good place going into treatment. I had a lot thrown at me while in treatment and the staff helped me get through it. The intense therapy had a positive impact on me! I no longer have to take depression medication. ALL of the staff are supportive, caring and nurturing. Place isn't great, but it feeds and strengths you, meetings and groups, no tobacco products or sugar, which most of the time you need to wait for doctor or nurse practitioner to issue a patch for you. That's the most difficult part. I'm grateful for all the help they given me.

This center is amazing the staff really care about the clients and it shows. Also they take the crossroads rehab clients to outside AA meetings, which most rehabs in the area don't.
The campus is also very nice. Basically if you have to go to a rehab pick this one.

I never give perfect scores so a 4 is a great complement. I am an advocate for an individual who is a current patient. The staff from the very first phone call were amazing and supportive. It is difficult in SWFL to find a facility that provides psychiatric care that also accepts Medicare and insurance. At the time I assisted my patient with admission, I was desperate and not expecting much. The staff are so supportive and communicative. The physician called on the weekend to update the family. The other administrative staff came in on the holiday to just meet a family member. The best part is after several months I have seen an improvement in the mental health of my patient. It is the first time during that time period I can picture her returning home with her loving family.

So i couldnt get back in and rightfully so. What I did there to get discharged was for good reason. I have nothing bad to say about this facility. I took accountability for my actions. Im sorry I didn’t appreciate it there. They where nothing but good to me and really did try and help me. I would still reccomend this place to anyone in need of substance or mental health help or both. I’ve changed and learned form this experience though but Im sorry to the people I effected with my actions and behavior. This is a good place and one of the best Medicaid facilities I been to. I was in psychosis and coming off drugs and alcohol at the time. Its been 8 years and what happened effected people but taught me a lot about accountability.

I was at The Willough in 2007. I loved being there. At that time, there was an Eating Disorders unit. I came in due to an eating disorder. The staff was excellent, especially the psychiatrists I saw. They understood addiction. The nutritionist was very knowledgeable. I did well there. Rehab gave me a jumpstart. If you relapse, go back. The people who work there will help you if you let them. Follow the program. I recommend The Willough to those who want to recover.
