I'm going home sober today. I'm really excited but sad because my journey in recovery after 25 years of active addiction wouldn't be possible without the care, therapy and friendship of the staff at Valiant. Who knew detoxing and getting clean was this fun? Going to meetings and Sober Saturday won't be the same without the amazing meals and good times I got to experience during my stay at Valiant. I'm so blessed and grateful for the care and love of the nurse Leah, Thank you coach George for all the help. Libby, Jose i gave my deepest thanks. I gotta thank the therapist Sandra for dealing with me and teaching me how to live sober. I wouldn't be alive without the care I received

Valiant Recovery allowed me the options to discover my worth .Once I truly unpacked my bags and settled in, the Counselors and Staff put in just as much and you can guarantee more at all times! There wasn't a moment that went by when Valiant couldn't not handle every scenario thrown at them by addicts who deserve the grace, yet don't realize the cost that goes into not believing in yourself. Made sure if clients requested services that the proper help needing to fulfill those services where found in a more than timely manner!Above and beyond. Diets adhered too per clients request, Meals always prepared on pm shift with love for the next day. My very own room with a more than comfortable bed to call my sanctuary or home away from home. And let's not forget the Art room for art Therapy sessions and The Amazing Library with several puzzle tables huddled with a selection of therapy puzzles included into the large wall of Self Help, Spiritual, Fiction, Non Fiction, mystery and regular old novels, Different bibles,ECT. Another corner with a white board for the possibility of group sessions in the Library at other Times. Classes begin at 830 am and allow clients to explore into the realizations that birthed the problem within most of us. For an hour at a time little baby steps , Coming from someone who as a native to Charlotte county was born and raised here dealt with a 23 year active addiction streak. Let's face it a luxurious more than comfortable coming off the streets to comfort real down to earth comfort.30 days isn't an option to fix anything with 23 years engrained into someone's past who needs to be mentaly reparented.so check out the 90 day program.Thank God for Valiant and there Staff.2025

Horsepower for Healing is an amazing program. They provide services to both children and adults with varying needs. Not only is the facility beautiful, the horses are smart, sensitive to our human emotions and are easy to work with. This program allows you the opportunity to grow and heal while building relationships and confidence in reaching your goals. Whether you have experience with horses or not, you can proceed with your comfort level. Carla and Tauna work with you planning activities that allow you to work toward your healing goals. I would highly recommended reaching out to these ladies and starting on your path to healing.

I'm a combat veteran that moved down here from the country and had to leave my horses. When you let these gals show you what a horse can teach you about life you'll see I was at a loss without them. God somehow managed to put Carla in my path and I'm very thankful. I look forward to hanging with my new buddy Larry all week...

Doctors and staff are wonderful. I came in feeling depressed and anxious. Dr. Madj Alsamman knows psychiatry and cares greatly for each patient that comes into the unit. I love him so much! Dr. Dameff is also very knowledgeable and fun! Naomi has classes each day to help your thinking and behaviors. I learned a great deal from her. I will use the techniques she taught me to navigate the world as I go out from the comfort of Shorepoint Behavioral Hospital. The RNs like Sandy and Christian are also knowledgeable in behavioral health and are always willing to lend an ear and advice to patients. The techs like Maryellen are so concerned for the people there as well. My time there was well worth it. Much love for all. ❤️

Nina and Alexis were my therapists and they were outstanding! I felt that they were sincerely committed to helping me view my struggles from an outsiders perspective, giving me new ways to look at my lifestyle. I was pushed to dive deep and see things from a different angle; some tears were shed and many giggles shook my body. Alberto the Doctor, fined-tuned my meds and gave explanations for everything. All of the staff including the nursing staff (Chris, Michelle, Linda, Lisa, Marland, Kristin etc.) paid attention to me and those around me when we were hurting in some form or fashion. The techs who visited with us on the "regular" where committed to following rules yet catering to our needs. Thank you everyone for your dedication and love.

Celadon legitimately changed my life for the better. I flew from Seattle to Fort Myers just for this experience. I came in on August 27th with severe depression and anxiety, to the point that I was ready to do something drastic. I left on October 1st and truly felt like a changed person. I am happy, my meds are working, and I have a renewed zest for life. The staff was incredibly helpful to my healing, particularly the techs (shoutout to Steve) who spent the most time with us outside of a clinical capacity. The nurses were equally incredible and always willing to advocate to the practitioners when we needed med changes or anything else. The practitioners themselves were very accessible and always willing to edit treatment if needed. Groups were generally very helpful, especially after the switch up of group formatting! The therapists were also very accessible and ready to listen, even if they weren't your primary therapist. Michelle the clinical director was super proactive in making sure clients were happy. The food was great, too (thanks, Grant!). All of this said, my peers at Celadon were what made my healing possible. Everyone seemed to be there for the right reasons and everyone was so so loving. You get what you put into it, and the people there put everything into their health.

Which, in my 32 yrs of life, I'm just now beginning to get to know my true self. Bc I started SO young, I hadn't realized I'd never stopped to really develop who I was. This program SAVES LIVES! This is the LONGEST I've EVER had ANY kind of sobriety. & unbelievably, I haven't relapsed since I began this new chapter in my life. I'd recommend this program to ANYONE who's stuck in this cycle of insanity! 💯💯💯 ✨ Just wanted to add, this is months after my first review. Just checking in... Got 3 yrs now, & still goin strong. 🚦🏡🇪🇺🤱🏻🌞 It happened to me. The fluorescent lights of Lane 4 hummed with a low, agonizing buzz. Maya stood at the register, her heart doing a nervous little dance as the cashier, a teenager named Leo who looked like he’d rather be anywhere else, scanned her groceries. It was a standard weekly haul: milk, bread, eggs, some chicken breasts, and, tucked neatly at the end, a few treats for her kids. 👩‍🍼🍼 Leo’s hands flew over the scanner. *Beep. Beep. Beep.* Maya swiped her EBT card. She entered her PIN, expecting the usual seamless transaction where the balance drops to zero and the machine spits out a receipt. Instead, the card reader let out an aggressive, mocking double-beep. 👩‍🍼🍼 The screen blinked, updating with a cold, hard number: **Amount Due: $4.92.** Maya blinked. "Wait, sorry, what didn't go through?" 👩‍🍼🍼 Leo shrugged, looking at his monitor. "I don't know, man. It just says 'Remaining Balance.' The EBT took care of the rest, but something in your cart isn't covered." "Well, what is it?" Maya asked, trying to keep her voice down as the line behind her began to grow. "Can you check the screen?" 👩‍🍼🍼 Leo tapped the monitor with the back of his pen. "It doesn't tell me. It just separates eligible from non-eligible. It doesn't name the item. It just says you owe four-ninety-two." Maya's mind raced. She had seen the news lately, much like the headline captured in the screenshot of **21050.png** talking about SNAP restrictions and legal battles over what people could and couldn't buy. While judges and politicians debated policy behind closed doors, Maya was stuck facing the real-world, glitchy consequence of it at 6:00 PM on a Tuesday. 👩‍🍼🍼 The system knew there was a "banned" or non-eligible item in her cart. The system knew exactly how much it cost down to the penny. But the system was a vault; it wouldn’t share the secret with her or the cashier. "Is it the juice?" Maya guessed, gesturing to the cart. "Or the granola bars?" 👩‍🍼🍼 "Could be," Leo said, completely unhelpful. "You want to just pay the cash, or do you want me to void the whole thing and scan them one by one until we find it?" The man behind her in line sighed loudly and shifted his weight. Maya felt a hot flush of embarrassment creep up her neck. She didn't have a spare $4.92 in cash, and holding up the line to play a high-stakes game of grocery roulette sounded like a nightmare. 👩‍🍼🍼 "Just... void the sweets," she muttered, pointing to the small bag of chocolates she had picked up for her kids' dessert. It was a wild guess, but based on everything she’d read on the news, it was the most likely culprit. Leo deleted the item. The register adjusted. She swiped again, and finally, the machine approved the transaction. 👩‍🍼🍼 As Maya pushed her cart out into the cool evening air, she couldn't help but feel defeated. It wasn't just about the missing treat; it was the sheer absurdity of a system designed to restrict choices, yet too opaque to even tell you what rules you were breaking.🤱🏻
