Not only is the facility beautiful, the horses are smart, sensitive to our human emotions and are easy to work with. Doctors and staff are wonderful. I came in feeling depressed and anxious. Dr. Madj Alsamman knows psychiatry and cares greatly for each patient that comes into the unit. I love him so much! Dr. Dameff is also very knowledgeable and fun!
Naomi has classes each day to help your thinking and behaviors. I learned a great deal from her. I will use the techniques she taught me to navigate the world as I go out from the comfort of Shorepoint Behavioral Hospital.
The RNs like Sandy and Christian are also knowledgeable in behavioral health and are always willing to lend an ear and advice to patients. The techs like Maryellen are so concerned for the people there as well.
My time there was well worth it.

Every single person I've encountered at ShorePoint Behavioral Health in Punta Gorda, has been kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to care for my family member. They treat me and my family with compassion and give us a peaceful piece of mind! I'm forever grateful!
Celadon legitimately changed my life for the better. I flew from Seattle to Fort Myers just for this experience. I came in on August 27th with severe depression and anxiety, to the point that I was ready to do something drastic. I left on October 1st and truly felt like a changed person. I am happy, my meds are working, and I have a renewed zest for life. The staff was incredibly helpful to my healing, particularly the techs (shoutout to Steve) who spent the most time with us outside of a clinical capacity. The nurses were equally incredible and always willing to advocate to the practitioners when we needed med changes or anything else. The practitioners themselves were very accessible and always willing to edit treatment if needed. Groups were generally very helpful, especially after the switch up of group formatting! The therapists were also very accessible and ready to listen, even if they weren't your primary therapist. Michelle the clinical director was super proactive in making sure clients were happy. The food was great, too (thanks, Grant!). All of this said, my peers at Celadon were what made my healing possible. Everyone seemed to be there for the right reasons and everyone was so so loving. You get what you put into it, and the people there put everything into their health.

helpful and friendly and go above and beyond. The food is amazing , PHP is amazing. I learned how to take care of myself and learned how to be back in society. For those who needs to the help I highly recommend Celadon.
Everyone there is very caring and helpful. Been there for over a year and my fiance has been there for almost 5. Sometimes there's a wait, just depends on the time of day. Alicia is amazing! She's one of the few counselors there.

Between the counseling sessions, & the MAT, I'm goin on 2.5 years, (straight thru, no on again off again BS), legitimately clean, sober, and stable. Which, in my 32 yrs of life, I'm just now beginning to get to know my true self. Bc I started SO young, I hadn't realized I'd never stopped to really develop who I was. This program SAVES LIVES! This is the LONGEST I've EVER had ANY kind of sobriety. & unbelievably, I haven't relapsed since I began this new chapter in my life. I'd recommend this program to ANYONE who's stuck in this cycle of insanity! 💯💯💯

I've guest-dosed at various places over the years. This place, by far, has been the easiest and friendliest location I've visited. The staff is super nice and helpful as were the local regulars that I met. There are 3 windows, and I never waited more than 5min to dose. They assigned me a client # on my 1st day. After that, it was just a matter of signing in at one of the kiosks and heading to the dosing line. Quick, simple, easy, and friendly. And the price is no more than I pay at my clinic back home. AAA+++

I am applying for Medicaid for me and my husband and I decided to give a visit on this place and see if they can help me do my application faster. Because online it says it will take you 45 days to get approved/ decision.
I will give this place a 4 stars Because the People who run it from the Security guard at the receiving desk to the short hair concierge lady who gave me more information on where to apply for medicaid and it's address, is very informative. They treated me equally and nicely. she gave me a paper (see photos for information on how to apply) and I told her I want to see the office where they can assist you on the application so she underlined the paper.
I went straight ahead on the Address given which is 3677 Central Ave, Suite J Fort Myers.
And as soon as I enter I was greeted with this nice Spanish Lady and told me to write my name on the paper and she will call me when its my turn. As I am writing my name she's with an older lady and I noticed that The Front Desk Spanish LAdy is the Application Assistant lady.
So I went inside this room in the back and there's probably like 12 people ahead of me. I am with my daughter on a Stroller and as I look for a spot to sit there's no more chairs so some people are laying on the floor waiting for their names to be called.
I was Shooked. I just can't believe it that only 1 person helping all these people that needs assistance and I just got Clusterphobic because it's such a small room with a lot of people and it's warm that you feel that you're inhaling their breath.
I just turned around and spoke to the front desk lady if the online application also the same as waiting here and she said YES. She's only assisting these people because they cannot speak english Nor have the capability to figure out how to apply.
The Front Desk lady also barely speaks english.
I will give that place NO STARS! Because of their system, small space and only 1 worker VS who knows how many goes there everyday.
So If you need to apply for Medicaid, I strongly recommend just do it online it will save you so much time, gas and stress. I will just do it online and wait for 45 DAys.

White Sands is the best treatment center. They truly care about every patient. The therapists are top notch and address every areas of concern. The entire staff has integrity , are kind , caring and honest while no one is watching. I took away the tools to help me fight this ugly disease. I pray I never have to return, but if I did they would welcome me with open arms. Thank you to everyone that assisted me with recovery.

Recovery is not a linear process and White Sands has been there to break my fall. There’s undoubtedly something special about it , like it’s got God’s anointing. Every single BHT/ counselor/ therapist/ doctor/ even the cleaning crew are the most pleasant and want the best for you. When a lot of the patients resolve to wanting to work here one day is a common trend you know they’re doing something right. I cannot say enough good about White Sands, and I’ve been given all the tools I need to not return! Those who are searching for their place to find treatment - your search has ended.
