Making the decision to go to Beachway was, by far, the most positive and impactful experience of my life. The entire staff was incredible, as was the community as a whole. My experience at Beachway was a 100/10. The life skills I learned are priceless and that’s putting it lightly. Beachway was the third treatment center I had been to, following the sudden loss of a loved one. I had prior sobriety before beachway and was convinced that I was only there because of a death, and that that was why I was spiraling. The staff at Beachway saw I needed much more help than that. They all knew before I did that if that death didn’t happen, I probably wouldn’t have stayed sober anyway. There was still much more therapy to be done, and more to learn. The staff took a genuine care in doing so, and looking back at their clinical process they are nothing short of a power house of a team. I never felt so cared for as a human being by people that just met me. The staff quickly became my family, cheering me on while also taking it extremely serious. They are unapologetically honest, which in my experience is the #1 thing needed in recovery. Many of the things they said to me during my time there still stick with me (a year later) and help me navigate life! I tell anyone that has a loved one with Substance abuse or mental health issues about beachway. There is no other place like it🤍

I owe Beachway my life for sure. I won’t lie and say that I loved every minute of it because I didn’t. A lot of it was very painful, because confronting inner demons is painful. It was a lot of group therapy (especially given how afraid of people I was going in), but they truly helped me gain sobriety and face down my trauma. And they put up with a lot of my crazy behavior while I was going through withdrawals in detox. Like any rehab, you’ll get out of it what you put into it. Surrender to the process for best results. Rehab isn’t a magic wand that makes problems vanish. Rehab gave me the opportunity to accept the ways in which I cause my own suffering instead of blaming everyone around me, while surrounded by professionals who prevented me from hurting myself while my dried out, and helped me identify the underlying causes of my addiction. It will be tough. It will be scary. It will be worth it. I wish I’d gone sooner. The staff there are wonderful and don’t get enough credit. Thank you Beachway.

This was a great place to learn how to grow up. As an alcoholic, I avoided adulthood and had a ready made excuse as to why I didn’t achieve or succeed in things. “I’m a drunk.” Once I removed the bottle, I quickly saw how much maturing I needed to do in everyday, regular life. The guys at RBC get you moving towards adulthood. There are simple rules to be kept and standards to live up to; youre required to work the 12 steps, get a job, and respect the grounds and the people that live and work there. They are simple rules that many of us come in not knowing how to follow or have bucked at all points in our active addictions. Slowly but surely, this place guides you away from old habits into new, more productive ones. All in all, this place takes you from beaten and broken to strong and empowered if you follow the rules and suggestions laid right at your feet. I’d recommend RBC to anyone serious about changing their life and “becoming the man they were meant to be.”

My time here hasn’t been perfect but it has been very helpful. I have worked on my anger, anxiety and depression through my interactions with peers and staff. My family therapist, Ilissa, has been great. She has helped me bond with my family. Tamas has been a great therapist and he cares dearly about his clients. Heather ran nutrition and body image groups, where she forms bonds with her clients and gets to know you. She has helped me achieve my health goals. Techs Keisha, Diamond, Stefan, Supervisor Mike, Mia, Dia and Gus were all great. The Director of Residential Operations, James has also been helpful and has helped me understand other people. Nurses Celeste, Gigi and Gia were nice too. Brian, the art therapist, worked with me to find ways to creatively express myself. Dani, the alumni coordinator is wise and talented. Her groups are amazing and bring a lot of insight into AA and mental health. I like the speakers she brings in – shout out Jared! He’s been great and has helped me through a lot of things. I look forward to going home when I am ready and getting to see my nephew, be with my family, and put to use the skills I have learned during my time at Lifeskills.

When I first got to Life Skills, I was very disoriented and going through a lot of hardship. I feel better now that I have attended groups and activities. Especially Dr. Paul, and Krista and Esther were great therapists! I feel I gained a sense of independence while still being supervised and supported. Shoutout to Kevin!

I went to treatment here twice, and what I will say is this place is a real gem but your experience is going to depend upon your mentality, take accountability people that’s the most important part. When it was my second time coming into treatment I was baker acted out of state. I called Jennifer the virtual manager in the late hours of the night annd she picked up and I told her I was going to end my life. I was tired. She stayed on the phone with me until police came and calmed me down. I remember sitting there with my eyes closed just listening to her voice telling me to breathe and she’s going to help me. She’s an angel in human form she’s one of the sweetest most caring humans I’ve ever come across. Next up is Paul Paul will open his arms to you and make you feel welcomed like there’s never no judgement with the guy he’s very supportive and my god is he smart. The man is great. He’s written a few books the past year and every word deserves to be seen by everyone. Tarah I love you thank you for always being supportive and a shoulder to cry on you are such an inspiration. Ron you’ve got the best attitude better than anyone I ever met your always so happy. Malika is sweet and has the best smile she’s so funny and always makes others smile and laugh. Gary I don’t have enough words for you your very valuable in my recovery journey don’t ever forget that. I’ve been through multiple rehab centers, and while each offered something helpful, I always ended up back in the same cycle—drinking, isolating, losing myself. After 20 years of my sons battle with addiction and mental health issues which included multiple rehabs and therapists this is by far the best place he has ever been. I finally have hope for him because they are listening and watching him to determine why he keeps failing at sobriety. The staff are kind and caring and the facility is very clean and a pleasant place to be while recovering . They are accommodating to the family also as they truly understand addiction is a family problem. The people who run the facility know what the clients need to get started on a successful happy life of sobriety and are sincere about helping them if they are ready to help themselves .

As a patient your only responsibility is to stay in the building; they take care of everything else and make detox as painless as possible. I had no idea what was going to become of me when I was sent to Immersion’s PHP program from a different residential treatment center. I knew I was an alcoholic, but that’s pretty much it. It has been a month since I finished my program there, and looking back, I can say they saved my life. The entire staff legitimately cares. From the therapists, to the 12-step contacts, to the techs, they made me feel welcome and heard at all times. I have never been happier, healthier, and more determined to continue on this recovery journey. Immersion deserves a lot of credit for where I am in life.

This place is ok. You have to realize this is Florida, so you are going to get cockroaches. Just ask staff for a fogger they are happy to get you one. I have had no problems with staff. Long days keeping you busy. Van rides get tiring. We do outings Everglades on a airboat was amazing all the Alligators was just coll. The best thing about this place is the LIV Program. Troy Adam Ericka, Daniel. Are the best we do all sorts of outings will miss them as going home soon. 🩷🐊

I have not personally had the experience of Recovery with Zinnia Health, but I do have friends that work there and I can not praise them enough as people. They are the hardest and kindest people who go above & beyond for their friends & patients!

I just left allure and it checking myself in and staying there to complete the residential after detoxing was the best decision I’ve made in decades. The clinical director Brad and the operations director Joey have an amazing staff around them. Most are in recovery and they UNDERSTOOD me. Going to treatment can be nerve wracking and their team made sure I was comfortable and welcomed. I spent over 3 weeks there and not once did I feel out of place or unsafe. They helped me work through all of the problems i had in my life when I admitted myself in the wake of my active addiction and I left with a purpose and the guidance and aftercare I needed to remain sober in the future. There’s no magic pill or wand to cure sobriety but they genuinely care and motivate you to put in the work and learn the tools to stay clean. If you’re tired of the consequences and pain/suffering from active addiction then find a way to get into allure right now. They’ll save your life and help you build a new one. - Derek P.S. The therapist are very professional especially carrie. Larry in discharge is super helpful and gets the aid you need while in therapy. Without him I would not of found housing. Highly recommend foundations wellness center

Honestly I have received good psych care from here but I still think there should be some improvements, because nobody/nothing is perfect except for Him. I was constantly having some confrontations (physical and verbal) with some of the kids there, especially with a kid named Hunter, and I think the director should have investigated it instead of brushing me off. Although they couldn't handle my bad behavior anymore after 10 days, I still received good psych care despite my bad behavior. Thank you Ms. Annemarie, Ms. Shannen, Ms. Nordeen, Ms. Celina, Mr. Ezekiel, Mr. Daevonte, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Shanicka, Ms. Nina, and my therapist (I forgot her name but she was good to me) I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, you guys have been good to me I really appreciate you guys, God bless you all. 🙏🙏

I can’t speak to how Ambrosia is today (I did look through the reviews though and it seems as though it’s gone downhill a lottttt in the last few years with mainly negative reviews whereas the older ones are all positive. Unfortunately I’ve been to a lot of treatment facilities but Ambrosia was by far the best - like 100x better. I actually loved it there a little too much as I went through their inpatient program 8 times. That wasn’t because it wasn’t an amazing program it was me that was the problem. I constantly self sabotaged and didn’t know how to function in the world sober and essentially became institutionalized. (The last time I went they told me it was the last time and I was black listed and wouldn’t be allowed to come back because they realized I had an unhealthy comfortability with the facility. I truly did consider it my home. Every time I went I really did try my hardest and the staff did everything in their power to help and support me including sending me to an outside trauma therapist who I worked with for 4 years and she helped me immensely. I wish I could say ambrosia was the last place I went to but it took a lot more rehabs for me to finally get out of my own way. It doesn’t seem like any of the staff is still there (I went the first time in 2011) but they truly cared and helped keep me safe from my own self and I’ll forever be grateful. I don’t think I would be alive today if I never went to ambrosia or if I didn’t go as many times as I did. Actually I know I wouldn’t. So this review goes out to everyone that worked there a long time ago. James, Ashley, Mike, Jordan (especially you - you’re the reason I never spent a single night on the streets and you never gave up on me). And all the techs from that time too. Shauna, Nicole, Ro, Tonia…. I owe you all my life. 🩵

I went here in 2014 and currently have 10 years clean. The community outside of treatment that this place introduces you to is invaluable to early recovery. Port St. Lucie is the perfect little quiet town to settle into when you're coming out of something as serious as hard drug addiction—especially if you're from the Northeast.
