Hello my name is Adam. I came to Reign about a month ago. I came from NJ and enrolled to the treatment center because I was struggling with some mental health symptoms that were unmanageable with life and needed assistance with getting myself back on track. The admissions team was so helpful and supportive, they were there when I was making my 22 hour drive. Jake, Benzi, Justin, and Morgan were so supportive on my drive. When I arrived at the facility and during the duration of my stay Corey the primary therapist was very friendly and welcoming. He wasn t like normal therapists where you would have your 30 min session and you re out but he gave me as much time as I needed and let me use my phone and make calls as much as I wanted to do. Then there was Brantley the operations manager and he Was just the absolute best. I developed a great friendship with him and every night we had a thing where we watch movies together. Gina was a great group facilitator and had very informative groups. Overall I had an amazing life changing experience,

I cannot express enough how transformative my experience was with the Guest House s intensive, one-on-one therapy program . From the very first session, I felt welcomed and understood. My therapist, Dede, created a safe space where I could openly share my thoughts and feelings without judgment. I gained valuable insights into my behaviors and thought patterns from our sessions, which has empowered me to make positive changes in my life. The tools and coping strategies I learned have been incredibly helpful in managing stress and anxiety. I appreciate how the Guest House and Dede tailored the sessions to my specific needs, ensuring that I felt supported throughout my journey. The treatment I received in the program was of the highest caliber! No price tag could be put on my experience at the Guest House. Not only did it help me to better navigate challenging situations, but it also helped me foster a deeper understanding of myself. I highly recommend the Guest House s treatment programs to anyone seeking personal growth and healing. It's an investment in yourself that truly pays off!

As a licensed trauma therapist, Interventionist and long-time recovering person myself, I know quality care when I see it. So when Judy Crane set out with John West to open Guest House, I paid close attention; Judy was at that point, and remains today, one of the most highly respected trauma-informed clinical authorities in the global healthcare industry, and the Guest House is on a very very short list of residential codependence and addiction trauma-healing programming options I refer to.A client of mine is currently at Guest House now, for going on five weeks, which is a flat out miracle and I hear breakthroughs are happening that make my heart sing. Along with Judy, John, Audra, Adam and the rest of the staff at Guest House, I want to give a special shout out to Guest House clinician Mark Rosen for the exceptional work he has been doing with my client. Mark is a gem!

From the moment I was introduced to The Refuge, I knew something powerful was about to unfold. What followed was nothing short of transformative. I expanded my capacity to live life on life’s terms, no longer needing to cope with life, but learning how to live it fully. I discovered that boundaries aren’t just something we set with others, but something we honor within ourselves—especially when the outside world may not. I learned to accept myself not just as I was, but as I am, while creating a vision for who I want to become. Acceptance isn’t about staying stuck or glorifying the past. It’s about understanding it—recognizing patterns, asking what they reveal, and deciding what to do with that insight. My path has not been linear. Allowing myself the time to simply be, and to be guided by professionals, was—at once—fear-inducing, frustrating, ego-challenging, and ultimately liberating. Many treatment centers speak of recovery “tools,” but few prepare you to actually use them. The Refuge not only introduces you to these tools, but helps you uncover the motivation and build the inner drive to keep going when it’s hard. Shelly, the Clinical Program Manager; Jessica Gomes, my therapist; Matthew Brinker, therapist; Alex Van Dyke, therapist; and Yogi Ana—all played pivotal roles in my healing. They gently (and sometimes not so gently) pushed me into the uncomfortable places where real growth happens. Just when I thought I was in over my head, they’d ask me to stand—and I’d realize the water was only waist-deep. With their support, I built resilience. To them, I extend my deepest gratitude. And to the community I shared space, time, and the most sacred parts of myself with—my hopes, my fears, and my love—thank you. You are forever part of my healing. To anyone considering this journey: It may not be easy, but you will not be alone—and it will be worth it

I was hesitant when my psychiatrist HIGHLY recommended I come to The Refuge. I was at wits end - my depression and anxiety were killing me slowly. I have Complex-PTSD that desperately needed the specialized treatment that The Refuge was able to provide. Don't get me wrong - it's a LOT of work. It's go go go! But the staff GENUINELY cares, from medical (shout out to Nancy and Jessica), therapists (shout out to Nicole, Randy, and Brianna), BHAs (Kim and K), and even food (Justin). They want you to feel better and succeed. You have group therapy sessions that are informative, you have assignments and processing groups, oh, and don't forget Kelly in art therapy! I ended up extending my stay from 30 days to 45 because I needed to, to truly get the most out of it. It sounds cheesy, but I can honestly say that I think they may have saved my life. I can't recommend them highly enough.

2023 is gone! And now I can go into 2024 with a new attitude and a new life mostly thankful for Perspectives 2. I made some dumb decisions last year that I ended up paying the price for. I consider myself smart and well educated but when alcohol does your thinking its a games changer. I ended up in jail with a DUI and court ordered treatment. The blessing in disguise was the court ordered treatement. I went 12 weeks to group thearpy at Perspectives. I was reluctant and not excited about going until I got there. All of us were in the same boat....nervous, shamed, scared about facing the consequences of our poor decisions. Perspectives group sessions were awesome and extremely helpful. They gave you practical suggestions to help with your addictions and how to deal with the pain you caused others and yourself. The staff that ran these sessions were incredible mainly because they truly cared! It was not a job to them but they had compassion for what your were going through in fact most of them faced similiar situations. I "had" to go to these treatments but would easily have volunterred to go after seeing what they had to offer. Great discussions with a staff that emplified compassion to every one in the class. When you know you messed up and are already down on yourself it is comforting to know folks at Perspectives 2 was there to listen, suggest and most of all show they really cared about your well being and getting you on the right track. They continue to follow up with me a year later! Jamie is awesome in her care and concern....Kudos to her and her staff. Thank you Perspectives 2 for showing honest concern and compassion!

This place is wonderful, they were treating pregnant woman back 2015 when myself an others felt we had no hope, NO ONE would touch us. They live & breathe recovery. They're local to the area, An yes a smaller office but don't lack in the resources to help you and the actual drive to do so! An if Dr.Logan doesn't have a book out by now...he should consider doing so! He's one of the most knowledgeable in the state regarding M.A.T-Outpatient Treatment. They accept most insurances (yes, including Medicaid) So don't wait till tmro (again) like I did. Call them!

After 8 months of intensive treatment, self-reflection, and personal growth at Phoenix House, I am proud to say that I am ready for discharge. This journey has been one of the most challenging and transformative experiences of my life. When I first walked through these doors, I carried the weight of addiction, pain, and uncertainty. Today, I leave with a sense of hope, resilience, and a solid foundation for a brighter future.Throughout my time here, I have gained invaluable tools to maintain my sobriety and rebuild my life. I ve worked closely with counselors and peers, addressing the root causes of my addiction and learning healthier ways to cope with stress and triggers. Group therapy sessions have taught me the power of vulnerability and connection, while individual counseling has helped me rediscover my worth and clarify my goals.I am incredibly grateful for the support system at Phoenix House, from the dedicated staff who never gave up on me to the fellow residents who became like family. Their encouragement, accountability, and shared experiences have been instrumental in my recovery. It s nice to know that staff and some very supportive clients helped me through the hardest days, now everyone look at me with pride, while my suitcase is a symbol of everything Im leaving behind. As i prepare to take my first steps into the world again, without Phoenix House to return to I reflect on how far I ve come, the lessons i ve learned, and the challenges that lie ahead I will take them head on.What a moment i ve reached when I found the confidence to continue to fight for my sobriety , I ll hold onto the strength I ve built and gained. Now I have the courage and wisdom to navigate life outside the facility. As I prepare to re-enter the world, I feel confident in my ability to stay on the path of sobriety. I have a clear aftercare plan, including ongoing therapy and a support network to help me navigate life s challenges. My time at Phoenix House has not just been about overcoming addiction but about rediscovering who I am and what I m capable of.While I know there will be challenges ahead, I am leaving with a renewed sense of purpose and the tools to build a healthier, fulfilling life. This isn t the end of my journey it s the beginning of a new chapter, and I am ready to face it with courage, gratitude, and determination. Phoenix House provided me with the tools, support, and encouragement I needed to regain control of my life. Through their programs and compassionate guidance, I was able to build the confidence to face challenges without turning to substances. Their belief in me helped me believe in myself, and today, I feel stronger and more capable of staying sober than ever before. When I first came to Phoenix House, I had no idea what to expect and thought it would be so different maybe stricter or less personal. But I quickly realized how much they genuinely care about the people they help. The support, understanding, and guidance I received not only changed my life but also brought healing to my family. Today, my family and I are so grateful for everything Phoenix House has done to help me on my journey to recovery and to restore hope in our lives. I am so grateful for Phoenix House that words cannot fully express the depth of my gratitude and appreciation. They have given me the tools and support to rebuild my life, and the impact they ve had on me will always be a part of who I am. As I move forward into my future, I will carry their lessons, guidance, and the strength they helped me discover within myself.

Groups has been amazing! When I was in a tough spot with no childcare nor transportation & I found myself out of my prescription I searched around for telemedicine options & found Groups recover together. I decided to give them a call to explain my situation & they were a life saver where I happened to get into the program the very same day. In the beginning I was a little nervous of the weekly group meetings as I have anxiety being around others, especially with strangers while sharing about personal experiences that are not my proudest moments. I quickly overcame that & enjoy everyone. I consider many of them friends I can talk to when I need a listening ear. They have an app that I ve never had any problems with, you will use this to update your care plan, submit drug test, & will join your meetings through if you choose the telemedicine option. Once in the program for a while, you meet with your counselor, office manager, & the other members in your area weekly; then a physician monthly where they will then send your medication to the pharmacy. If you have any problems you will have their numbers to reach out to, also a hotline you can call after office hours for anything from support/prescription issues/if you need to see the DR sooner/want to attend an extra meeting/reschedule if something comes up in your usual week etc. They are here to help you, not judge/punish you if you have a slip up during your recovery. Just make sure to be honest with them. Everything is confidential; A quote we say is what happens in Groups, stays in group (like in Vegas :D). You can be yourself & not feel judged as none of us are perfect but we re all doing the work to become better. If you re thinking about it & struggle with opiate dependence, CHOOSE GROUPS! I continue to recommended to any family &/or friends that need the help. I am truly thankful for this program, the ones who work for groups, as well as the participants that keep the program going. So many of us rely on what Groups offer & I pray the telehealth option in our state continues as I wouldn t be able to be here without it. Thank you truly! -- Sarah, a proud Groups Recover Together member.
