Not your typical "recovery resort". Valiant does not have a big sprawling campus providing an oasis away from the real world., however, what they do have is a simple, comfortable, homelike environment that met all of my needs and then some. It's small. It's intimate. It's comfortable, quiet, peaceful and safe. No drama. Full on, full time recovery. If you're seriously done with your nightmare, this is the place to gently wake you up, wrap around you and give you all the tools necessary to begin your new life. It's been 11 months since the day I showed up walking around the outside of the building, feeling desolate and alone. My life now, that began that day, is full, joyful, peaceful and real. If I could give Kathy Ronek and "Affordable Counseling" a negative star rating, I would.
42 classes and still didn't get an exit interview.
I was ejected twice from the class and spent two years and $2000 dollars for nothing but a hard time and a hustle.

5 stars is the limit? I was shocked when I finally went there after a couple years ago. I don't know what happened but now they are FANTASTIC. Easily 10 stars now..Great service, excellent people, super efficient. Unbelievable. I prefer the VA now over regular drs on Florida Blue. Always on the mark..The old saying from vets was " If the Vietnam doesn't kill you,the VA will" is gone.I don't know what happened to the VA here,but absolute excellence from all departments. New season went through a rough patch, they've since worked out those bugs as of 8/18/2025 this clinic changes lives. The staff truly care to help and work with the clients. This program will work to help you with anything you need help with. Yes it sucks with the revolving door of counselors. But if anyone has been on program & clean you can have take home bottles it’s been a yr. And I pick up my meds monthly & have been for at least 6 months. And I’m down to 25mgs got my life together was able to save more money then ever!!! Got health together or moving along nicely I don’t even think of getn high.Sometimes I even forget to take my meds! If you follow the program you should not be there 2years & have nothing not even a 2bottles to show for it, your not clean or following any directions & there’s not many. Pick up c ur councilor 1 maybe 2xs a month if needed. Or more if wanted. Someone is always there for you. Thank you New Seasons! & yes we all miss Sam and Arianna, she started tough as nails, but once she knew u,she was a doll! I loved & miss them both. Sometimes when we’re lucky Sam fills in. 😇

I've guest-dosed at various places over the years. This place, by far, has been the easiest and friendliest location I've visited. The staff is super nice and helpful as were the local regulars that I met. There are 3 windows, and I never waited more than 5min to dose. They assigned me a client # on my 1st day. After that, it was just a matter of signing in at one of the kiosks and heading to the dosing line. Quick, simple, easy, and friendly. And the price is no more than I pay at my clinic back home. I first attended the Bradenton clinic have been attending par for 12 years and yes it seems they try to get you to go up in your dose because they are always asking how your feeling are you stable blah blah blah. But they aren't twisting your arm after 12 years the most I went was to 115 during pregnancy and I'm back down to 60 MG by dropping 5 MG a week so I dropped 55 MG pretty fast. But I'm ok I didn't need to be that high I don't think any one does I think they just search for that high they used to get so they go up and up and up. I totally recommend this comic and the Bradenton one nurse's extremely friendly front counter girls amazing! They saved my life

I've just read a number of other reviews, & my overall feeling regarding the ppl who felt they were/are not being helped seem to have unreasonable, unrealistic expectations. Yes, they do random drug screening. They aren't observed, unless u give them reason to be suspicious. & if u actually read the Patient Handbook before starting u'd understand that UA's are simply part of the program. Yes, in the very beginning, u can only move up 10 mgs. @ a time, & only once a week until u get to 160 mg's, then u need to see the Doc. The dosing nurses are overworked, understaffed, & underpaid. They come to work in the morning's to help US. TBH the reviews ive read are simply ppl who aren't using the program the way it's intended to be. Therefore, they have no business going in the first place. If ur at the point in ur life where u know ur DONE, then this program can change ur life. I've got almost 4 years, without even one relapse. It's almost unbelievable to me that I've got this much time under my belt, when I haven't had more than a little over a year, (& that was locked up), sober in my entire adult life. My point is if u want better, & are truly ready for that change, this program can save lives. I can honestly say it saved mine. It was the only thing, (& I've tried it all, Suboxone, Subutex, Naloxone, Zubsolve...) that was GENUINELY able to open my eyes to the possibility of a better life. U just have to want it, for urself. Absolutely incredible center comprised of staff who actually care. Sally and Alicia went above and beyond from my very first appointment. You're treated with respect and dignity. Neuro has also done everything possible to ensure privacy and efficiency. It's the only clinic/Dr's office that I've ever truly felt comfortable at; which means a lot.
The only aspect I haven't been satisfied with is that the Dr has a "one size fits all," approach when it comes to dosages. Regardless of whether the dosage is actually working for you or not, what your history is, or how long you've been a patient - she's unwilling to consider increases or listen to your rational. That part has been very frustrating and invalidating. Especially considering the monthly cost. I think it's really important to listen/assess patient needs and make reasonable adjustments accordingly. There will always be people who try to take advantage. But that shouldn't impact everyone.
That being said, no center is perfect. I'm very grateful to Sally and Alicia; two absolutely incredible people who put their heart and soul into caring for every patient. I'm happy I found Neuro. It's had a positive impact on my life.

I have been a patient of Neuro Assisted for many years. From the very beginning I was treated with respect. It is a very thorough practice, you are not in and out; the staff although extremely gracious and friendly take their jobs very seriously. It can be costly, since no insurance is accepted at this time - so communicate with them ahead of time. They have always responded to my messages in a timely fashion. Neuro Assisted were and are instrumental on my path to recovery and I am beyond grateful.

I am forever grateful to this place. The staff is incredible, they truly care and put their heart and soul in everything they do. Donald was my therapist, Brandy was my case manager; they were both wonderful. The other therapists and case managers that weren’t even mine were a vital part in my recovery. I suggest utilizing all the staff you can, including the BHT’s. They want to help, and they definitely did. The reviews talking about “only an hour a day in the pool,” or the “gym isn’t good enough,” if that’s what you’re taking away with you in your recovery, then good luck. We had groups every day of the week, which is a necessary part in our recovery. They had activities for us every night, so we could build connections while having fun. The pool and the gym were extra gifts when we had the opportunity to use them. I would have loved it without. If you’re considering taking the steps to recovery, 100% recommend.

Heather the counselors and the doctor run a wonderful facility here. They offer freedom from active addiction a promise of renewed hope and a purposeful driven life free from addiction. My stay here a year ago also provided me the opportunity to live in their sober living home. The art, equine, yoga and reki thrapy sessions are incredible. I really liked the bio bed as well as my free time on the patio. 7 Summit Pathways reintroduced me to mindful meditation, grounding techniques and journaling. My counselor Doug was very encouraging. I was able to get a job near to their sober living house in Valrico and protect my anonymity. They had a nice dinner for the holidays and other clients families would join us. The van was always a safe drive and i always felt reassured and comfortable. They offer a native American Wellbriety meeting on Wednesday at 7pm i look forward to returning to again soon. Alot of these examples have helped me as i was able to keep my sponsor and take steps in the 12 step Narcotics Anonymous program. 7 Summit Pathways helped me keep living a productive good and healthy life. I just wanted to say how incredibly helpful and amazing Heather was tonight during a crisis. I reached out at midnight about a family member and was blown away by her kindness, willingness to talk/help, etc. I have worked in the substance abuse field for over 15 years and been a patient as well. I know that parts of the system can be broken at times. Heather went above and beyond what I have ever seen anyone do. She really cares and is a true angel.
