Scammers!!! Horrible customer service!!! Stealing your money and your insurance money. They don’t help you when you need help so that weeks continue to pass while charging you! Disgusting thiefs. Especially Gary. Horrible people with no intention to truly help. The zoom classes are trash and they speak to you as if you’re children. Not helpful at all and super expensive scam.

Transitions Recovery Program in Miami didn’t just help me get sober it gave me a life beyond my wildest dreams. I walked in lost, broken, and unsure if real change was even possible. The staff is incredible many of them are in recovery themselves, so they get it. They met me where I was without judgment, but also didn’t let me stay stuck in old patterns. Transitions literally saved my life. It’s like no other rehab I’ve ever been at before, I’ve been to over 20 different rehabs and this one will definitely be my last lol. The staff here treat you like family and really care about you here. The outings were always so much fun, the groups were great, and I love how it’s a reality based program. 10/10 if you are thinking about coming here do it. This place is discriminatory. I called and tried expressing my situation and the second I said I had diabetes. I was immediately met with an argumentative tone which then got follow up by being hung up. I will definitely be contacting the proper channels about handling this and also be making videos and seeking out new outlets to discuss this because this type of behavior in mental health facilities that are somehow accredited need to be stopped. It’s really tearing apart the whole recovery community and makes it difficult for trust and safety to be built when you can’t even finish saying a couple sentences to another human being. Absolutely atrocious behavior from your staff member. Then when I was told the manager would come in and reach out. She never did. Hanging up on somebody due to a disability is discrimination. I know that for a fact. Especially at a facility like this one.

Had problems finding my account due to an error made by another office. Jan took care of my profile issues, she located my medication for me, and provided me with all the resources I needed. Thankful for Jan! Love this office over their other ones. Choose the davie office people, it won’t disappoint. Plus , they’re open on New Year’s Eve making sure my mental health is taken care of

This is a wonderful program filled with love and support. As a resident of several of these type facilities I can say without hesitation that it is by far the best treatment center that I have been apart if. The groups are instructive and inspiring, the staff is respectful and always helpful for anything I need, and the food is plentiful and terrific. The rooms are clean and the bedding is super comfortable, and the outside area offers a great recreation/gym area with great quality equipment. I honestly have no complaints about this program and would highly recommend it to anyone that is ready to change their life for the better. I am forever grateful for all they have done for me and will carry this experience with me always. Thank you Transition House, for everything.

Don’t care too much about leaving reviews but this place made an impression on me and my life. at first when I was recommended this program after my recent car accident, I was oblige to even go there as I felt like I didn’t need it, but over the time I was very appreciative of the help that it played in the support of my tragic situation at that time from the staff to the newly appointed director( Mr. Clavin Bell) that started his journey about a week before I entered the program a truly dedicated and invested person his position and the counselors like (Jack) Specifically My Counselor, (Mr. Larry) helped me so much from our individual conversations and guidance to even group settings. These guys quickly became role models in my life but that was second to family. They care to the point that would make you feel. Why wouldn’t you care about yourself this way? They were always there to let me know It’s goin to be ok! I made a mistake and my career and my life is not over. They present to you resources, schooling, trade programs (Valencia), partnership with G.E.D courses, Job opportunities, etc. and get you from A to B when needed and educate you every step of the way to take those new steps on the path.From time to time I think back on my experience and about the fact that I didn’t even want to go there in the first place and now because of the transition house. it would be a memory that I will cherish forever from meeting so much, intelligent veterans and learning about their journey open my eyes to so much more in life. I will forever be in debt to these guys and of course (the transition house). but any operation is only as good as the people that are running it . So Thank you!

Evolutions is the best employees here Has helped me keep for walking off at least twice while talking to me. I appreciate them for everything they’ve done they’re gonna get me ready for the real world and God for bed. I do go out there, but if so, this is the place I would want to come back to.so if like to thank them all for the drivers to the therapists thanks for all the help and helpful advice to use on my journey in the real world.

My experience at Evolutions was a unique experience. It included detox, PHP and IOP. Each part of the program served different purposes that really helped me in my journey. The therapist are very knowledgeable and experienced. The BHT's give great support and structure that are vital to the recovery process. I would recommend this program for anyone who's in need for assistance.

It really help me lay down the foundation to start my life over and move in a better direction.

The staff were great and caring food was good especially compared to other facilities I've been too. The rooms were comfortable at most times depending on the roommate. The bath facilities could be a bit better but again definitely seen worse. Nobody likes going to treatment, but they made the uncomfortable more comfortable.

Serenity Oaks changed my life. I went in a terrified shell of a person. I left born again, a new man entirely. The team of therapist is amazing. Jeff and Fumni especially, they saved my life. That place made me realize so much about myself I never thought was possible. Today I am clean and sober living a live beyond my wildest dreams. I owe the credit to the things I learned at Serenity Oaks. They give you all the tools you need to succeed in the real world. Atlantic Rehabilitation Center in Davie is awesome! The Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They know everyone by name and they genuinely care about your wellbeing and go out of their way to help you get better. I’ve worked with Anna the most so she is my favorite 🤩 but everyone is wonderful. Go here if you need PT!

This place helped me to cope with a lot of things in my life that I was really struggling with. I've gained a lot of respect back for myself and even got my fiance back into my life. And I see that life is really worth living again. I couldn't have done it without my therapist Laura. She got me so comfortable I was able to open up with my peers and do even more healing. I'm so grateful to coalition recovery!!!

My therapist was laura, she was amazing. Her group classes were very insightful. She got me to open up easily. Also Laura the behavioral health tech was great to me. Miss Gigi help me to get comfortable and made me feel welcome. I would highly recommend coalition to anyone in need.

If i could give zero stars i would. Imagine showing up to your class you signed up for days prior changed your schedule around arrive and the young girl who was bother by you showing up to sign up for having earphones in waited until you left to take you out of the class. Then waiting an hour for them having no clue how to handle it but it was paid for and spots in the class. Imagine i have an advocate counselor (Homer Castro) and for MONTHS writing emails and sending voicemails unreturned. But in just a day a lawyer who worked with him could get in contact. But again when I look for the response and not my lawyer still ghost. Imagine trying to say you are offering counseling. But your staff whine we pay in fines need more training and counseling because no one seems to be able to do basic job management.

On November 26, 2025, I ended up at MSMC Hospital Main Emergency Room with a pinched sciatica nerve. Dr. Dreyfus’s, Nurse Nicole and the whole staff was wonderful. I was given tests, meds, and diagnosed and sent home to feel better. All were AWESOME! Thank you all and Happy Holidays and Blessings to you! SHALOM!❤️

This is my honest opinion of Sylvia Brafman after being a patient there for a short while. The majority, if not all, of the staff there appear to be genuinely friendly. Pretty much everyone there seems to be invested in the patients and willing to accommodate in any way possible that is within the parameters of their program. Further, from my experience, the program is quite good at documenting communications that one has with the staff and relaying it to other staff members, techs, the clinical team, etc. I believe many of the people there will do everything in their power to try to help the patients. The main reason this place gets three stars is due to delivery of the help they purport to deliver. While this is not in the literature anywhere on the website, it appears that a large number of the patients enrolled at Brafman are doing so under court-order for a criminal case. That said, Brafman seems heavily geared towards providing supposed treatment that gives the appearance of improvement for purposes of winning a criminal case. This can be quite different from actual improvement. I have been in many programs where many patients are routinely "failed" out of it and leave on bad terms. That said, Brafman seems to have the opposite problem, in that they will push people thru that aren't fully helped. This can be great for those facing criminal charges as it gives the appearance of improvement to a court or to a prosecutor. However, I would be wary of this program for someone that does not have an active criminal case and merely wants the program to better themselves. Relapse seems very plausible for those who successfully completed the program due to these issues. I would also be wary of any promises made that aren't in writing prior to Brafman having your money. For me, I have a sleep condition called delayed sleep phase, which is a valid sleep condition listed on Sylvia Brafman's website under "sleep disorders." For me, it is difficult to successfully adapt to a "normal" sleep schedule and I adapt to my condition by going to bed and waking up at later hours. I asked my parents to ask point blank if the schedule could be accommodated. The program gave a non-answer prior to me attending and then a straight "no" once I got there. I ultimately left the program AMA (against medical advice) due to this issue. Overall, I would demand that any promise that Brafman claims they will make be listed on their actual website or in writing. Similar to many other mental health facilities I was at, Brafman uses numerous cost-cutting methods to maximize their bottom line. The housing is relatively bare-bones while habitable it is not luxury by any stretch of imagination. The facility hires psychiatric nurse practitioners to cover the majority of medication management as well as therapeutic interns who are not yet certified to practice unsupervised to provide many of the 1:1 and group therapies. The majority of actual treatment involves group therapy there is very limited time that is 1:1 working directly on one's personal issues. I assume this is all to save money while I'm assuming the program will bill insurance and/or the patients as much as they possibly can. Me personally, if I TRULY wanted to get better I would personally try to see a really good 1:1 therapist while maintaining one's life as much as possible. I am suspect about programs in general doing good towards their patients but I am trying to put my personal bias aside to write a fair review of Sylvia Brafman. If I had higher expectations for a mental health facility, in that I believe the majority of them actually help people, I would give a lower rating to the facility. But I recognize the low bar set by the facilities themselves and by the patients in them. Giving a lower rating would discount horrid experiences at other facilities that I didn't face at Brafman. That said, I give Brafman a fair 3 stars due to the pros and cons as listed above.

I came to the facility with sheer desperation to get help for my son and they took advantage of our family. Jaime saw my exasperation, anxiety and depression and instead of helping us cope and come to a decision he played on my fears as a mother. They guided us toward inpatient and manipulated me into running to the bank immediately to get a cashier check without presenting a clear financial plan from my insurance. They knew we just had a death in our family and we were all extremely affected by that in this meeting. . nonetheless, we left us some there and ran to the bank. Again, everything was rushed and pushed towards keeping my son at the facility and admitting him. The living quarters were atrocious. The tub was filthy and backed up. It was in total disrepair. I guess we weren’t supposed to go inside because after that they changed the policy to no visitors. It has weighed on me and took mea long time to write this. Healthcare workers are bound by the ethical principles of beneficence and nonmaleficence to act in their patients' best interests and protect them from harm. This responsibility is a cornerstone of the medical profession, grounded in ancient ethics and reinforced by modern codes of conduct.
