Accepted Insurance

JC’s Recovery Center | Drug & Alcohol Treatment works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

Often referred to as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers an intensive treatment option that allows individuals to return home at night. PHP treatment typically requires a minimum of 20 hours a week for an average of 90 days. Participants attend daily therapeutic sessions, receive medication management, and have access to skilled medical professionals. While costs can vary, most insurance will fully or partially cover a partial hospitalization program.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

The first step of the recovery process involves the removal of all drugs and alcohol from your system while under 24/7 medical supervision. Known as a medically assisted detox, you are closely monitored by medical staff who can provide medications, if necessary, to help alleviate any potential withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox is usually followed by a period of inpatient addiction treatment.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

One benefit of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) in Florida is variety. NRT comes in multiple forms that you can use in different ways. This allows you to choose the form that works best with your needs and lifestyle. Your options include gum, patches, inhalers, and prescription medication.

I have been involved with Jcs and the community for almost 2 years. One thing I always tell people is there is something special here. If you really want to recover and also be surrounded by people who love you. Jcs is the place to go. It’s faith based and I see more recovery in this community than any other one I’ve ever been around. I am eternally grateful to God for this program and the staff.

I am deeply grateful for JC’s guidance. I am constantly thankful that God led me to South Florida and placed me in the care of Stevie B, Jerry, Brandon, and Brother Bo, among others. If you seek a solution to your challenges, the room of any A group holds the answer. However, if you aspire to maintain your sobriety, I recommend incorporating God into the 12 steps of Recovery. Thank you, Stevie B, and I extend my love and support to you, my brother.

I’ve been to a few treatment centers over the years and JCs was much different than the rest. The staff there is amazing and very family-like. I still keep in contact with a few of them, including the owner, Stevie B. Would definitely recommend this place. I came down from Tennessee and ended up making south Florida home. I went there based on who would accept my insurance and ended up being the best thing for me! It’s Christian based, and even though I’m not Christian, they worked with me and helped me develop a relationship of my own with a higher power of my choosing. So don’t let that scare you off if you’re like me. Been sober 18 months at the beginning of July. Longest I’ve ever had and a lot of that is due to the support and tools I gained from JCs.

When i got there, everything was kosher, the program was how I expected it to be. The houses are decent and the staff (some) are caring. I took some shoes that were in donation and they were the case managers sons shoes and I got treated like an absolute nobody, after that mishap. She was talking to another client and said we'll he's coming also talking about (me) and she said "he's not my problem" just absolutely hateful for no reason... When you go to IOP and get a job, note that you will graduate right then and get pushed out of the program so you best hurry and find somewhere to go... I was pushed out on a Saturday to some trap apartments in fort Lauderdale where I was told was sober living.. I get there and the guy has a bottle of vodka just laying out but he's going to pick up his 6 year chip? Yeah right. I got put in an apartment that smelled like absolute dog piss, that had a kennel and a couple laid up on the couch, I almost wanted to vomit, I was put in a room with 4 bunk beds and a homeless guy was in there. The person that dropped me off gave me their number and said if I found somewhere elsr to go, they would come back and get me. The number given to me was a number no longer in service, imagine that. They claim that's the only place they could put me, if you have am better or any state insurance or not paying out of pocket, get ready to be placed where there's space available. The owners are great, the techs are good and the therapists are excellent, the program is alright but "one bad apple can ruin the whole bunch." One person that tought class said hell was fake and that Jesus loves everyone and that is just a metaphor so we act right on earth. My jaw dropped.
