From the very first interaction, Teresa stood out as someone who truly cares about the people she serves. She goes far beyond the expectations of her role, she listens, she responds quickly, and she treats every question or concern with genuine compassion and professionalism.
What impressed me most is how deeply knowledgeable she is about the recovery process and the resources Sabal Palms offers. Sabal Palms recovery was an amazing place to attend. There’s Was a tight knit community. The facility only holds 32 clients at max but when I was there, there were only about 16 to 20 people. So our groups were small and comfortable. The counselors, nurses, BHAs, and kitchen (food really good) were amazing. Tripp the CEO was very friendly and took care of things that needed to be taken care of. Overall, the facility and the staff were amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Karen Thieme is everything the VA should want in an employee, someone representing them and servicing their veterans with a passion to listen, understand, and to provide benefits for. I was referred to Pamela a couple of weeks after my wife of 33 years passed away unexpectedly in January of this year. Pamela was a Godsend. She was vital in helping me to navigate the grieving process by going through-not around or avoiding it. While i will always love and miss my wife, Pamela has helped me to start to live my life again. My journey of grief will be with me for the rest of my life, I do have a life and owe it to myself and those i care about to live it.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and guidance I received from Pamela over the past several years. When I first began my journey with her, I was struggling with deep trauma from loss and grief, as well as the complexities of addiction. I felt lost and overwhelmed, unsure of how to move forward.
From our very first session, Pamela created a safe and nurturing environment that allowed me to explore my feelings and experiences without judgment. Her compassionate approach and deep understanding of human emotions helped me confront painful memories and begin to heal. With her expert guidance, I learned to let go of the burdens of my past and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
Pamela equipped me with tools and insights that transformed my perspective on life and pain. She taught me that it's possible to rebuild and move forward, no matter how heavy the past may feel. Thanks to her support, I have emerged as a completely different person—stronger, more resilient, and ready to embrace life.
I’m thrilled to share that I have started a new chapter with a loving partner and am in the process of building a new home. I truly feel like I am putting my life back together, and I owe a significant part of this transformation to Pamela.
If you are navigating your own pain and suffering, I wholeheartedly recommend Pamela Hand. Her wisdom, empathy, and dedication to her clients are unparalleled. She has the power to help you find the light at the end of the tunnel and guide you toward a fulfilling life.
Thank you, Pamela, for everything you have done for me!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Barbara and the incredible impact she has had on our child—and our entire family.
From the very first session, she created a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where our child felt truly seen and understood. Her compassionate approach, deep expertise, and patience have helped our child make incredible progress, not just behaviorally, but emotionally and socially as well.
She doesn't just work with the child—she works with the whole family. We've gained tools, insights, and strategies that have helped us become better, more connected parents. Her guidance has transformed how we understand and respond to our child's needs. The difference in our home is night and day.

We had groups every day of the week, which is a necessary part in our recovery. They had activities for us every night, so we could build connections while having fun. How can you express your gratitude for the people and place that saved your life? I cannot praise the Guest House and its staff enough. From the moment I arrived in Orlando, I was greeted by my driver, Don, who reassured me that the Guest House would change my life for the better. I was deeply touched by the kindness and caring nature of the staff, whether it was the gardener or my therapist. I consistently felt a sense of security and connection during my stay.
The staff was always attentive and fair regarding anything I needed. OG Bob would drive us to meetings, playing the music we loved, which allowed us to sing along and feel joyful. I was grateful for all the activities, whether it was bowling or going to the movies.
Chef KC surprised me daily with the creativity and quality of our meals. Every dish was delicious and healthy, and the standards only increased as time went on.
The living conditions and grounds were nothing short of perfect. We were surrounded by natural beauty both day and night, and our rooms had everything we could need. The classes were engaging and unique—something I had never experienced before—but they were incredibly effective in addressing trauma.
Even after being gone for a year and participating in an alumni weekend, I felt as if I had never left. The Guest House maintained its loving and welcoming atmosphere.
And finally, my therapist, Mark, truly saved my life with his gentle yet honest approach. I have never encountered anyone who has spoken poorly of him or expressed disappointment in his care. His commitment to my well-being was phenomenal and unwavering. He even called me on a Sunday—his day off—when he learned I was struggling. I have never seen or heard of a therapist so devoted to guiding someone through recovery.
I cannot thank the Guest House enough for what they did for me and for the ongoing support I continue to receive after leaving. The weekly Zoom meetings to reconnect with old and new guests are especially crucial to our recovery, even after our time at the Guest House has come to an end. What business would genuinely care about you after you've left, possibly forever? That’s why I will never refer to the Guest House as a business. It is, quite simply, a caring community dedicated to recovery, fostering growth and happiness.
In closing, it’s absolutely true what we’ve heard about the Guest House: it is the best of its kind. It has changed my life and given me meaning once again. Thank you!

The veterans medical outpatient facility located in Zephyrhills has a very large and important responsibility of taking care of many many veterans that are disabled retired and the list goes on and on speaking for myself I can only say I am amazed that the staff have always provided myself with the best of medical care and treatment and trust me I have had some serious medical treatment provided on my behalf by the VA and I am so proud to be a Navy veteran and to have served my country honorably and now 49 years have passed by after my first visit to a doctor at the James a Haley veterans hospital in Tampa Florida located on Bruce b downs back in those days that hospital was not as large as this satellite clinic here in Zephyrhills and every time I need to go to Tampa for specialty clinics I am so amazed and proud to be able to say now my country serves me by taking care of my medical needs as they promise upon my horrible discharge in 1975. The growth of the James has become so large and modernized with only the best care provided to our veterans by highly trained doctors and the nursing staff is unmeasurable and I can honestly say I cannot recall one veteran complaining of the care they received and I have met many many veterans from the highest rank to the lowest and not ever been disrespected by another veteran and I am proud to say I have witnessed love and respect when these men and women go beyond being just a neighbor as they jump up to help another veteran that is struggling in a wheelchair a cane or a walker that gets assured no man is ever left behind and always delivered to the proper specialty clinic. Every time I have an appointment I can see the love that leaves me with a feeling of Hope for humanity showing just how great and wonderful it is to be an American in this great United States. Now I am looking forward to watch the process of a new medical facility that will be built here in Zephyrhills just behind the CVS drugstore on Gall Blvd and it is a assuring and worthwhile project to spend federal money as everyone realizes that a military veteran gives up so much of his person so that others may live in freedom and happiness 😊

I'll keep it real, these bad reviews did scare me too, but I couldn't stress enough that the people who wrote them are probably struggling themselves and can't bring themselves to see the good in this place. Obviously, recovery is hard and it takes time to accept that. Yes, sometimes it can be hard and you'll have to do things that you never thought you'd do like be in a house with 7 other strangers who are also struggling but in the end it really is worth it. I mean this in the most genuine way, this place has changed the way I see things and I couldn't be more thankful. I'm happy waking up every morning in my body and i've learned to appreciate it and overcome things I never thought i'd overcome. I love my treatment team and everyone i've met along the way.

I was in need of last-minute tax preparations and this impeccable man Benson has done such an outstanding job with providing me quality service in spite of all the obstacles that were there. I now understand why this place is called "Star" Financing.... because of how individuals like Benson shine so brilliantly! Everything he did was executed flawlessly like a painting that has no drippings while doing it with style, kindness, elegance and also grace. He is truly a superhero (or maybe I should say a super"Star") that came to my rescue, the living expression of life that embodies sheer greatness. He has placed an indelible mark on this earth which just displays exactly the kind of person he is, and I will always remember this occurrence I've experienced throughout time.
Again, much thanks Benson, for the job well done!!!
(I gave a rating of 5 stars which is absolutely ridiculous, because how can I rate a "Star" with 5 little stars?)

Tampa, FL | Juvenile Addiction Receiving Facility (JARF) is a short term acute inpatient treatment center for youth ages 12 to 17 years old. Their Tampa, Florida program is for adolescents who are dealing with a significant substance abuse disorder or dual diagnosis. JARF accepts insurance and Medicaid and can work with families to make financial arrangements | Treatments Programs Payment Options | You get out of this place what you put in. I am 31 years old now. I was in and out of this place from 12 to 17. When I first started being sent there I fought it. I hated it. I fought with staff and fellow peers. Getting older I started to see the point. Unfortunately I wasn’t ready to get clean and didn’t get clean until I was 22. I am thankful to the people who cared for me here. This place is NOT paradise. But that’s not what it’s supposed to be. You’ve got issues you need to work on if you’re here. Focus on them and attend your meetings!

I came here last month because I was having really bad mental health issues that needed to be addressed. I was really nervous and scared to go in for help but the two intake nurses (one was name Kristina I believe) she cared for me and talked to me while I waited for a bed. Going into the unit I was greeted by Jason and he was the ONLY one to call me by the name i wanted, not my full name. Some of the Techs are very nice and some are a bit to much to handle. Dr Brach was great. She listened to me and was willing to hear my story and my trauma. It does get a bit boring in the unit, there was only one group therapy session a day and we get to either go to the gym or outside. You get access to the wireless phones from 9am-10pm but phones get taken during group time. Food wasn’t that bad. Beds were old and mine wasn’t very comfortable but Jason was able to get me an extra blanket to help me even out my bed. Overall I was happy with this place and I HIGHLY recommend if you need help, go here!
