Not sure what was happening many years ago, but I was here for 5 days just recently. I appreciate every one of the hard workers that helped me through my time. I fell on some hard times, and became a slave to the drink. The staff here at GCC welcomed me with open arms and embraced me in my time of need. They were all very helpful and genuinely concerned about my detox and recovery. I was supplied with a comfortable bed in a dorm room, a hot shower, and three daily meals, along with necessary medication to mitigate withdrawal symptoms and a daily consultation with a doctor. They also encouraged all of us to attend AA meetings held in the facility, and offered advice on where to go after my departure. This place was a godsend for me!

Despite the circumstances, this was a very positive experience with a highly professional and compassionate staff. The program was an eye-opener and should be a part of every high school curriculum or driver's course. Professional Psychiatrists and staff who actively listen to your questions. Educated, experienced staff who have many resources available for a broad age range of clients. You feel your information is kept private and confidential. My psychotherapist has a great sense of humor and I feel free to share any of my issues, without judgement. However, they could desperately use waiting room magazines from this century. 😉

I can honestly say Transitions is the best recovery center I’ve ever been to. They are definitely not like other rehabs and I’ve been to many different places. What sets them different: there’s no judgement, you actually see your therapist, a psychiatrist, case management, and medical doctor 1-2 times a week, the groups are very beneficial and THEY TRULY CARE!! That’s by far the biggest thing. Staff all go out there way to care for us whether big or small. Housing is beautiful spacious apartments and weekends we do deep cleaning. Everyday there’s an outside meeting and H&I on property everyday but Sunday. Sundays we do outings as a community like the beach, top golf, or bowling. It’s a great way for us to all have fun at the end of the week. Shout out to the staff: Lori-Ann, Austin, Will, Maxime, Michael, Winnie, Summer, Tay Tay, Manny, Art, Dr. K, Jeff, Dr. Seely, Jennifer, and Shelly. Yall make this program worth being apart of. I would HIGHLY recommend joining this fellowship! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came here as a Tina addict with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. As I finish my time at Transitions, I’m leaving with a group of friends, a home group, a sponsor, and a real job. Great Detox, the best of the best. All of the staff were amazing and the food was amazing. They have queen size beds and TVs available in your room, there is also a gaming room. They allowed me to come here with my partner. Will definitely come back if I ever need to come back

At Clinical, Therapists put their heart into making sure to help you unlock what started it all, classes give you knowledge on your mental state, what brings you to your rock bottom or this sick cycle of addiction. Back at housing was surrounding yourself with the people who really want to get help and are not shy to sit down and share their stories with you and relate with you on different levels. Techs are down to earth so it makes it easier for you to vent what's going on with you at the moment but blunt /real enough to help you decompress and snap out of whatever you're going through at that moment. All staff genuinely want you to grow and live life on life terms and become who you were suppose to be without the use of drugs. Heidi is the Bomb! I love her to death, to see her be there for everyone. The heart she has for helping people in this fellowship and newcomers at Comfort is one of a kind! I'm grateful to have her in my life, someone you could look up to, no matter what!

This place is very professional and confidential. I took my teenager daughter for addiction, depression and anxiety. Even though there is not magic solution and you have to work really hard at home, we improved a lot in communication and I learned a lot in the way. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff at Jackson South Medical Center for making my scheduled surgery and my entire pre and post-operative experience a positive one. I would especially like to thank the Clinical Resource Management Department, Ms. Yolanda Hochstadt, the registration staff, and the anesthesia team. A very special thank you goes to Dr. Manuel Peñalver, who truly demonstrates genuine care and compassion for his patients and his surgical team. I have nothing but positive things to say about this hospital. The facilities are clean, medical care was provided promptly, and every staff member I encountered was kind, professional, and helpful. During my observation stay in Tower 3, I would like to recognize nurses Elizabeth and Odette, as well as assistants Jorge and Avis, who were all outstanding. I would also like to thank the front desk staff. Although I cannot remember the names of everyone who helped me throughout my stay, I am sincerely grateful to each and every one of them. Everyone was dedicated, efficient, and compassionate at all times. This was my honest experience, and I truly appreciate the excellent care I received.
