I fell on some hard times, and became a slave to the drink. The staff here at GCC welcomed me with open arms and embraced me in my time of need. They were all very helpful and genuinely concerned about my detox and recovery. I was supplied with a comfortable bed in a dorm room, a hot shower, and three daily meals, along with necessary medication to mitigate withdrawal symptoms and a daily consultation with a doctor. They also encouraged all of us to attend AA meetings held in the facility, and offered advice on where to go after my departure. This place was a godsend for me!

Despite the circumstances, this was a very positive experience with a highly professional and compassionate staff. The program was an eye-opener and should be a part of every high school curriculum or driver's course. They are attentive, professional and are absolutely kind individuals. The entire staff is always welcoming and supportive. I’m so thankful for Dr.Sandoval, Susan, Michelle, Denise, Laura and Sylvia. Professional Psychiatrists and staff who actively listen to your questions. Educated, experienced staff who have many resources available for a broad age range of clients.
You feel your information is kept private and confidential. My psychotherapist has a great sense of humor and I feel free to share any of my issues, without judgement. However, they could desperately use waiting room magazines from this century. 😉

This was my first time ever at a detox and what I could actually say is that this is the best detox. I’ve experienced lots of amazing food and the staff is great TJ Kathy Jen and Jonathan were my favorite out of the whole crew not saying that the rest of them weren’t respectful, but they were always accommodating me on my needs and checking up on me and making sure that I felt comfortable, especially with it being my first time ever at a detox treatment I definitely recommend this spot to people who are trying to get off drugs. I have lots of freedom. I’m able to have my tablet. They have amazing food. They’re super nice. They also give the shakes because I’m skinny. And it’s very well needed because I needed to gain weight and honestly, I’ve been here for four days and I’ve already gained 8 pounds

Yo this place has helped me tremendously when I was down and out. I successfully completed my detox and they assisted me into another facility for more treatment and made me feel as if I was taken care of and they would continue to support me although I'm leaving. Transitions Recovery Program in Miami didn’t just help me get sober it gave me a life beyond my wildest dreams. I walked in lost, broken, and unsure if real change was even possible. What I found was a deeply compassionate and structured environment that not only supported my recovery, but challenged me to grow in ways I never thought I could.
The staff is incredible many of them are in recovery themselves, so they get it. They met me where I was without judgment, but also didn’t let me stay stuck in old patterns. The clinical team, the group sessions, the one-on-one therapy, and even the everyday accountability they all played a part in reshaping how I saw myself and the world around me.
What really sets Transitions apart is that they don’t just focus on staying sober they teach you how to build a meaningful, fulfilling life in recovery. They helped me reconnect with who I really am, helped me process trauma, build healthier relationships, and most importantly, believe in myself again.
I’ll never be able to fully put into words how grateful I am for this place. Transitions helped me reclaim my life and then some. If you’re struggling, if you’re feeling hopeless, please know that change is possible. This program showed me that.

Transitions literally saved my life. It’s like no other rehab I’ve ever been at before, I’ve been to over 20 different rehabs and this one will definitely be my last lol. The staff here treat you like family and really care about you here. The outings were always so much fun, the groups were great, and I love how it’s a reality based program. 10/10 if you are thinking about coming here do it. On November 26, 2025, I ended up at MSMC Hospital Main Emergency Room with a pinched sciatica nerve. Dr. Dreyfus’s, Nurse Nicole and the whole staff was wonderful. I was given tests, meds, and diagnosed and sent home to feel better. All were AWESOME! Thank you all and Happy Holidays and Blessings to you! SHALOM!❤️

It's a combination of all different departments of this program that were very helpful to me along the way into my new journey to a better way of life. At Clinical, Therapists put their heart into making sure to help you unlock what started it all, classes give you knowledge on your mental state, what brings you to your rock bottom or this sick cycle of addiction. Back at housing was surrounding yourself with the people who really want to get help and are not shy to sit down and share their stories with you and relate with you on different levels. Techs are down to earth so it makes it easier for you to vent what's going on with you at the moment but blunt /real enough to help you decompress and snap out of whatever you're going through at that moment. All staff genuinely want you to grow and live life on life terms and become who you were suppose to be without the use of drugs. Heidi is the Bomb! I love her to death, to see her be there for everyone. The heart she has for helping people in this fellowship and newcomers at Comfort is one of a kind! I'm grateful to have her in my life, someone you could look up to, no matter what!

i love my stay here because of how much the staff helps the clients and bond with us and if anyone ever felt down we knew we could reach out. my sweet Andrea’ (spelling?) was the BEST TECH. she loves me like her own and i am forever grateful to her for being there and loving me when i struggles to love myself!

This place is very professional and confidential. I took my teenager daughter for addiction, depression and anxiety. Even though there is not magic solution and you have to work really hard at home, we improved a lot in communication and I learned a lot in the way. Ok, the communication can be poor when you have to call, some staff are not always as polite as the could be. But I came to Banyan at rock bottom, with nothing to compensate them. Today I am 1 year sober. I am still rebuilding my life, but without Banyan Healthcare MAT program I would be dead, in prison, or best case scenario, homeless.
The pharmacy staff are amazing. And Dr Jucandella helped me become an actual healthy person again. I am forever grateful to them.

I'm not a protected veteran but God sent me to this hospital last Sunday when I was struggling with suicidal thoughs, and I was lost in the middle of the night looking for the mental crisis emergency entrance. Long story short this hospital team saved my life and I will always appreciate that they did. Specially the brilliant psychiatrist resident Alexandra Coppa. She made me think about my wrong mindset and safe my life forever. Specially when I was at the Government center metrorail station with no place to go...
