I fell on some hard times, and became a slave to the drink. The staff here at GCC welcomed me with open arms and embraced me in my time of need. They were all very helpful and genuinely concerned about my detox and recovery. I was supplied with a comfortable bed in a dorm room, a hot shower, and three daily meals, along with necessary medication to mitigate withdrawal symptoms and a daily consultation with a doctor. They also encouraged all of us to attend AA meetings held in the facility, and offered advice on where to go after my departure. This place was a godsend for me!

Professional Psychiatrists and staff who actively listen to your questions. Educated, experienced staff who have many resources available for a broad age range of clients. You feel your information is kept private and confidential. My psychotherapist has a great sense of humor and I feel free to share any of my issues, without judgement. However, they could desperately use waiting room magazines from this century. 😉

I had a wonderful experience considering the circumstances. The entire staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly but especially undertaking. I particularly thought very highly of Jennifer but the rest of the staff were exceptional also. The food was the best I've ever had. Hopefully I will never require this service ( God.willing) but if I did it would definitely be Summer House. I am forever grateful to the entire staff. They are doing God's work for sure. I would recommend Summer House to anyone who needs help.

Unfortunately, I have been to several detox places over the last 10 years. Without a doubt, Summer House is head and shoulders above the rest. Every single staff member from Mike, Burt, Jen, Ronnie, Gunnar and Tiffany, to the therapists, nurses and support staff, treat you like family and genuinely care and consistently go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In addition, the food is incredible. If you go to any other detox, you're making a big mistake that could effect the trajectory of your life.

I am very thankful for my experience here. My almost 60 day stay was well worth it. Staff was uplifting and the therapy couldn’t have been better. This place helped me change my life for the better. The new housing is also wonderful and located within walking distance from art district.

Truth be told, this is the very best services for detox and treatment that I've ever had the pleasure of getting myself together. The staff is wonderful, excellent! From the nurses to the tech's to the kitchen. Even very nice ladies come and clean the rooms. Shout out to Tony who is a straight shooter and will hold us accountable for the part we played in our addiction and our recovery. Mental health is also treated, they help dual diagnosis clients with mental health, addiction or both. The other shout outs go to Martha who was my counselor. She helped me so very much and she, like the rest truly care about helping you to be your best version of yourself. I learned a lot. And mS. Masha is also a straight shooter, I enjoyed her groups, Brad's group. Adam couldn't be more compassionate and understanding when I called sobbing and crying for help. They came right away and brought me to treatment. The nurse's there are 5 stars. The good and snacks vlare delicious and like a restaurant! There is movie night l, bingo, basketball, arts and crafts karaoke. We can wear our own clothes and are allowed mp3 players. The rooms are like hotels with your own t.v. I can't leave out the wonderful tech's, simply beautiful people work there. I've been twice and have been clean now since September 2026. Let me also mention and advise the IOP after detox. This is the next step, I've heard nothing but good things about it. I owe Evolutions my life, literally. Thank you Evolutions for all the very best help you provided me!!!!!!! At Clinical, Therapists put their heart into making sure to help you unlock what started it all, classes give you knowledge on your mental state, what brings you to your rock bottom or this sick cycle of addiction. Back at housing was surrounding yourself with the people who really want to get help and are not shy to sit down and share their stories with you and relate with you on different levels. Techs are down to earth so it makes it easier for you to vent what's going on with you at the moment but blunt /real enough to help you decompress and snap out of whatever you're going through at that moment. All staff genuinely want you to grow and live life on life terms and become who you were suppose to be without the use of drugs. Heidi is the Bomb! I love her to death, to see her be there for everyone. The heart she has for helping people in this fellowship and newcomers at Comfort is one of a kind! I'm grateful to have her in my life, someone you could look up to, no matter what!

This place is very professional and confidential. I took my teenager daughter for addiction, depression and anxiety. Even though there is not magic solution and you have to work really hard at home, we improved a lot in communication and I learned a lot in the way. Solamente me quejo de poca comunicación de parte del Doctor Romero con la familia. Quien tampoco nos avisó del traslado del Rehab a este hospital. Me gustaría que nos contactara. The only problem I had was a language barrier cuz sometime when I talk English they looked at me confused they're mostly Spanish speaking and that's okay but just the language barrier where I had a problem for her and that they were exceptional caring compassion and they really took care of my son I can't complain.

This is an amazing treatment center for treatment of mental health and/or substance abuse disorders. The staff is compassionate, hardworking, and extremely accommodating. Staff will go above and beyond for their “patients” that are treated like family and recovery is 100% possible if you do your part. I’d totally recommend this place for people who want to improve their lives, make better choices, or simply learn to connect with yourself again. There’s a holistic approach to treatment where you can attend yoga classes, tai-chi lessons, art therapy sessions, group/individual therapy, informative talks/discussions, and music therapy. Overall a great place that can definitely feel intimidating or controlling at first but it all makes sense once you understand that they are only trying to make you feel better.
