Waking up in the ICU with no memory of what happened is a solid zero out of ten on the Yelp scale of life events. Realizing I just had brain surgery—and had a tube draining blood from my head—dropped that rating into the negatives. ​But let me tell you, the ICU and PCU teams went so far above and beyond, they practically orbited the earth. If I named every amazing person, you’d be reading this until tomorrow. Over four terrifying days, they showed me a level of love, patience, and professionalism that kept me from completely losing my mind. We simply do not give hospital staff enough credit. ​The sweet girl who cleaned my room brought a massive smile with her every single time she walked in. The cute girl who took my meal orders somehow made me feel like I was dining at a high-end French restaurant—and honestly, the food was actually good! ​Then there was my bed. The true MVP. It aggressively screamed for help if I made even one wrong move. I’m pretty sure that mattress was more invested in my survival than I was. ​To my nurse from Alaska, who scolded me not to run away with all the fierce authority of a worried mother (which is hilarious, considering I am triple her age): thank you. To my sweet nurse heading to Tampa who actually shed tears with me: you are an angel. I apologize for being such a scared, nervous wreck, but I could write an entire book about how wonderful you all are. You all deserve medals. ​And then... there’s Dr. Torres, who managed to ruin this beautiful vibe in exactly five minutes. I will be having a separate chat with management about him, but let’s just say he should probably discover what a shower is, leave his nasty, dirty bag at home, and strongly consider immediate retirement. My experience with him was the absolute worst. ​But to the rest of the staff: God bless you all, and thank you for everything you do!

I'm giving them a 5 because the receptionist went out of her way to get my daughter setup in the system because the online patient intake DOES NOT WORK do not waste your time. I've been waiting since last year for a call back. It's been a week so far this time but she said 2 weeks for someone to reach out they're understaffed and loom for help.

I am so glad that I got to come get healthy at JPEC. The staff- all the way from housekeeping to the executive director are phenomenal. They actually care about the clients and their recovery process. I was treated with respect and kindness by everyone. The therapy/counseling sessions were very therapeutic. I would highly recommend and encourage anyone seeking help to come to JPEC.

If you have someone u know and love, and they are going thru an addiction. JourneyPure Panama City Beach is the place I would want my loved one to be. Professional staff excellent techniques to teach the client of how to deal with the addiction. It has to be there choice to do so tho u can’t make anyone do anything. So until they get sick and tired of the problems then you just have to be patient. This Professional and caring staff know how to treat the patient with dignity and respect. My name :is Daniel Harris I was just recently in recovery Bay treatment center for the second time this is my second time of being there I have gang the knowledge and the wisdom to keep in mind and remember what I went through struggle with my addiction during the time when I was in treatment at recovery bay I learned it wasn't me ..it was the monster that was driving on the inside of me when I was struggling with my addiction..since I found recovery Bay as well as being discharged from recovery bay ,I have left out of the door with great knowledge and wisdom that was passed down to me from Miss Tammy ,Amanda Townsend, Miss Cindy, Marcus, as well as Miss Kelly, DeLorean and "A kill"I have been baptized while I was there since I gave up the old me and put on the new garment the Lord has been working in my life I have no desires to want to drink or get high I met this guy by the name of Steven while in recovery Bay he was a great guy to some who knew him my condolences goes out to Steve family .Morrow of the story is when Steven passed away from alcohol poisoning it shook me right then and there alarm to cherish my health and my life over my addiction I am grateful for the people at recovery Bay who want all of us to complete the program and do well with our sobriety I must admit going through life on a day-to-day struggle dealing with your addiction it's a bumpy road to go down gentlemen's don't give up to fight ask the Lord to work in your life and give you the strength and the power to fight that nasty disease that is killing us so yes I am grateful again for Marcus ,Miss Cindy ,Miss Kelly ,Miss Tammy ,Miss Amanda,townsend ,and a brother by the name of DeLorean who is a god-fearing man as well as "a kill"so with that being said I would like to wish all the patients that are in recovery Bay the best with their journey dealing with their sobriety and why you in recovery Bay I asked each patient that is in there to get all the tools they need to overcome their addiction evidently you want to change if that wasn't so you wouldn't be there so guys open your heart and your mind an elevate your mind to a bright picture . The staff is wonderful and therapists and doctors are very knowledgeable and sympathetic. Very well organized scheduling wise. Showers were very cold but I didn’t go there for luxury. I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness while there but they lost or threw away my dentures...they said they will pay for the new dentures and I hope they pay for their replacement...in a timely manner...as they said they would...I will have to wait and see...because I just went to the dentist today to get molds made...I will be so happy when I get my dentures replaced!

I’m not sure why this hospital have two stars but goddamnit I’m gonna be the first person to give it 10 stars. MY DOCTOR was top-tier as Sweet and understanding and doctor son had the most sweetest spirit and he was understanding the night. Staff is top-tier and they make me laugh while I was having a mental breakdown beyond exhaustion. I really enjoyed my stay there and I met Some beautiful strong women who’s more stronger than me I really really like MY DOCTOR and I hope to see him again If life gets too much for me, I needed to take a break for my busy life just to deal with my emotions And staff got them together for me. I’m glad I have A place to go when I’m Overwhelmed and the staff is so respectful the daytime staff in the night I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews …… I wish I would’ve stayed longer just to be with MY DOCTOR nevertheless, I’m giving them 10 star …. Because MY DOCTOR is top-tier

Saved my life. Went on a 24 hour hold. They are now giving me counseling and resources for 3$ an appt. Thank you to all the staff and nurses on site. Y'all are angels 🥹🙏 special shout out to the young male nurses in the crisis unit. Y'all actually treat patients like people. The receptionist, Miss Davena, has helped me twice when I was struggling in the lobby. The facility is nice and they keep it clean. The whole staff is kind. The staff did have some simple communication issues, but Miss Davina is just an amazing woman; She made sure I was taken care of when I came in struggling and needed some gentle guidance on how the facility runs their programs.

Since the center is under new ownership I can definitely see a big improvement. The facility was clean and it smelled fresh. The CNA’s were professional and very tentative. When I advised the CNA my sister needed assistance, CNA Cheyenne Armstrong said she would locate her CNA. Two minutes later Ms Armstrong came to room said she couldn’t locate the CNA assigned to my sister so she would take care of my sister’s needs. Ms Armstrong was polite and very professional. The second CNA was Cheyenne Carroll she was the night CNA assigned to my sister. She was attentive and made sure my sister was comfortable. I pray the facility continues to make improvements and maintain the cleanness and quality I saw that day. Also kudos to Mr. Tim, for taking the time to meet with me and answer all my questions. Nice improvement team keep up the good work!

The staff here is really friendly! I especially appreciate the activities guy, who always brings a positive energy. The nurses are wonderful, and the therapy team is fantastic. Plus, the food is served hot, and the rooms are nice and spacious. Overall, the customer service here is excellent! customer service

Mrs. Karen is by the greatest lady I have delt with.she genuinely cares about my son. We had many obstacles over the last 5 years with his ADHD and she was always following up checking in finding the best solution for him and our family. She has even helped us with the school to get recommendations to tge programs the school was dragging thier feet on. Mrs Jennifer was our child and family coordinator/ therapist and she was more than patient with us. My son loves her and tho he doesn't see her anymore she has made an everlasting impact in all our lives and family as a whole.

My son is completely transformed. He is definitely on his way to becoming the man that God has called him to be. Teen challenge is absolutely hands down the answer to your love one's addiction. This 12 month program is your childs pathway to recovery. Believe in its culture and watch your love one grow into a productive adult. I would definitely recommend this program to all who struggles with your love one's addictions.
