I could describe my experience in great detail, but in summery, I just want to say thank you to the Renfrew Center! Coming here has completely turned my life around! Every single one of the staff, from the all nurses (especially Christa) to the therapist, dietary staff and every one in between cared for me greatly!
The Renfrew center provides hope and it gave me just that! The Renfrew Center challenged me in the most perfect way all while guiding me along the way. I do not have a single complaint about my experience here at Renfrew, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing, all I have to say is how blessed I feel to have had the Renfrew center in my life! A lot of these reviews are very exaggerated or are lies. I went to the Renfrew Center - Coconut Creek twice is 2012 and once in 2017. Both I had a different ED. I will say now though that in 2012 that they were more staffed, more strict with rules, etc. However, looking back I knew they were for a good reason and I knew they were just trying to help. 2017 they definetly started to become less strict. People need to realize and understand that without having rules in place- it’s not going to help you make changes. You can’t just expect to be able to do what you want 24/7. I made some of the best of friends and had some of the best staff help me. Ali Butters was the best therapist when they had her. Both Jodi’s also did amazing at their job. There’s so many other staff members but they stood out the most. Art was my absolute favorite. And Susan also will also be a gem to that place- i thought i was going to hate dance therapy and ended up loving it. People need to start being more open minded and realize that they can’t live in their comfortable bubble forever if they actually want a change in their life. ai can’t say i’m 100% cured sadly. But do I blame Renfrew for not “fixing” me? No. Not at all. At the end of the day people need to realize it’s YOU who has to be willing to make the changes People will always find an excuse not to. Thank you Renfrew for everything. There’s a lot more you did for me in my time there like gave me a scholarship to stay a bit longer- but thank you again. 💜💜💜

I had a very positive and good experience with my stay at Renfrew Coconut Creek. All the staff here is amazing and they truly helped me heal from the inside out. I couldn’t be more thankful for all the help they have given me! I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for them! They made me welcomed and comfortable and all the nurses here are awesome!

Oh man, I can not thank this place enough for literally helping me when I thought I had no where to turn. Every single staff member from housekeeping to the directors were unbelievably kind and caring for each and every client and our different needs. Every single staff member takes the time to always check in with you, even if you're having a down day and just need to rest your mind and body. The everyday groups became something I looked forward to going to. I loved hearing how there really are people JUST LIKE ME! I had some of the best laughs and made great memories here. I made friends for life. I learned so much about myself that I didnt even know was there. I truly love every single human at Boca and I can't ever thank them enough!

I dragged what was left of me into Boca 3/4 of the way dead and I had completely given up on life. I've seen some very ugly things in my life and took some very heavy losses that year and decided I was going to crawl in a bottle and stay there until I was dead. It seems God and Boca had different ideas and if it wasn't for either one of them I wouldn't be here today writing this review the staff in Boca showed me love kindness and mercy when I needed it . It's not all about the clinical side of recovery there. The staff work through the heart I could actually see it in their eyes. And let me tell you I did not show them the same love kindness and mercy when I was there but they shouldered it anyway and took good care me I have nothing but love for the staff at Boca welll accept one guy there's always that one guy 😎

My experience here was phenomenal. I was really scared to go to a detox center but they made me feel so comfortable and it’s so cozy. The staff is phenomenal. I’d like to specifically shout out Bert and the nurse Eddie and Joey and Tiffany. Tiffany did my intake and she did a phenomenal job it wasn’t triggering the food. Here is fantastic. There’s a private chef and that’s it. Thank you so much.

Transitions Recovery Program in Miami didn’t just help me get sober it gave me a life beyond my wildest dreams. I walked in lost, broken, and unsure if real change was even possible. What I found was a deeply compassionate and structured environment that not only supported my recovery, but challenged me to grow in ways I never thought I could.
The staff is incredible many of them are in recovery themselves, so they get it. They met me where I was without judgment, but also didn’t let me stay stuck in old patterns. The clinical team, the group sessions, the one-on-one therapy, and even the everyday accountability they all played a part in reshaping how I saw myself and the world around me.
What really sets Transitions apart is that they don’t just focus on staying sober they teach you how to build a meaningful, fulfilling life in recovery. They helped me reconnect with who I really am, helped me process trauma, build healthier relationships, and most importantly, believe in myself again.

Transitions literally saved my life. It’s like no other rehab I’ve ever been at before, I’ve been to over 20 different rehabs and this one will definitely be my last lol. The staff here treat you like family and really care about you here. Also "Barbara" on the phone call was very truthful and it was as she said it would be like. Wow. I was there 8 years ago. I went there thinking it was just another 4 week trip. I was sadly mistaken on that. I remember seeing Gus the first time and thinking “do they know what this guy is doing?” I was shocked yet presently surprised to learn he was the owner. I went through hurricane Irma there. I wasn’t scared but most other women were. It was like a bad thunderstorm in my part of the country. But it lasted 36 hours. So what? We came back to the “shoe” to find our little generator didn’t kick in. We lost everything in our fridge. Gus took it upon himself to get me Italian dressing. And he got the good stuff. Wow. I’ve stayed clean and sober for all these years. I found out i had stage 3 breast cancer 11 days after I left there. I’ve had double mastectomy and radiation. I’m still sober. Thank you 1st step

My experience is primarily with the virtual IOP program and as far as that goes I can assure you it's absolutely wonderful. From the first time I spoke to Jen when she introduced the program to me I could tell it would be different. The ability to attend support groups on zoom is so helpful as long as you know how to operate technology and you have decent wifi. I really appreciate how flexible they were as I figured out my new life and how to work my personal schedule.
All of the facilitators bring a different style to their groups but each one is different, engaging, and they all know what they're talking about for you're willing to listen. A lot of what you get out of the groups depends on what you put in, but the community that CWC has built has been nothing but welcoming and encouraging through my growth. Paul, Ally, and Augustine especially had an impact on my journey there.
The fact that even though I've completed the program I'm still welcome back to group anytime is such a gift I hope to always treasure. Insurance paid a lot of money for me to be there and now I get to go for free? I'll definitely be back and God bless you all for creating this wonderful healing place. In my humble opinion you all are doing your jobs right.

If you’re on the fence about CWC, I’d say give it a shot. I’ll walk you through the reasons behind my ‘why.’
Comprehensive Wellness Centers has been truly life-changing. They take a very holistic approach to recovery including but not limited to 1-on-1 therapy, group therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (TMS) — please research TMS and complete 25-36 sessions during your time at CWC. In my opinion, this is one of their best wellness perks - it basically “cures” brain fog, depression, and anxiety.
From the moment I entered the program on May 2, 2025, I was met with compassion, structure, and professionalism that exceeded all expectations. The treatment is intensive, ranging 12 to 40 hours of weekly clinical group therapy, individual sessions, psychiatric care, but every element is thoughtfully designed and deeply impactful.
Their staff is not only highly trained, but genuinely invested in patient success. The center is fully licensed and Joint Commission accredited, ensuring top-tier standards of care. The program goes beyond symptom management, as it specifically supports lasting recovery with individualized plans, real-world integration, and a compassionate community.
Since transitioning to the virtual IOP, I’ve continued to receive exceptional support while reintegrating into daily life. The virtual program is just as engaging and effective, helping me stay grounded, focused, and accountable.
CWC didn’t just help me recover, they helped me reclaim my life. I recommend this program wholeheartedly to anyone seeking meaningful, lasting change.

Unfortunately, I have been to a lot of treatment centers. No one does it like Simple Path Recovery. The love, support, and care you receive there you won’t find at other facilities. I found stability, peace, and lifelong friends after struggling with opiates for almost 10 years. I was shown how to learn from my mistakes and appreciate them, but to stop holding on to them. The learning and care does not stop after clinical hours. The techs, staff, and other women in the program will teach you more than you ever could have known. You become a family! The tools and coping skills that I developed at Simple path saved my life. I truly believe this place and the people here are a Godsend!! This place and the people at Bright Futures are truly something special. I’ve been through multiple rehab centers, and while each offered something helpful, I always ended up back in the same cycle—drinking, isolating, losing myself. I came to Bright Futures broken, scared, and exhausted—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. It wasn’t just the substance use that nearly destroyed me, it was the lack of hope.
From the very first phone call, I felt like I wasn’t just another intake. I spoke with someone who took the time to listen to my story, answer my questions about detox placement, insurance, and what to expect from PHP. I was skeptical at first. I didn’t believe in myself. But Bright Futures believed in me before I could.
When I arrived at the facility in Boynton Beach, I was immediately welcomed with warmth and zero judgment. I was assigned a case manager, Jennifer, who not only kept my treatment organized but supported me emotionally every step of the way. She helped coordinate everything—from therapy sessions to aftercare planning to helping me talk to my family again.
My primary therapist, Matt, made an enormous impact. He didn’t just run through a script—he took the time to dig deep with me, identify my trauma, and help me develop real coping skills. We worked through things I had buried for years. The group therapy sessions led by Ashley were raw and transformative. She created a safe space where I could share, cry, and most importantly—heal.
Melissa, part of the support staff, always made sure I was okay. Some days I didn’t need therapy—I just needed someone to sit with me or remind me to eat. Carlos, one of the techs in the sober living side, treated me like a human being when I was at my worst. They didn’t just do their jobs—they genuinely cared.
The clinical structure here is solid. I was placed in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) after detox, then moved into outpatient therapy and continued working on myself while staying in the sober living housing they set me up with. The facility was clean, the food was good, the housing felt safe, and the schedule helped me rebuild my routine.
The best thing about Bright Futures isn’t just the therapy or the services—it’s the people. Everyone from leadership to the cleaning staff seemed committed to helping us succeed. There were no shortcuts. Just honesty, consistency, and compassion.
I left Bright Futures with a recovery plan, coping tools, a support network, and something I hadn’t had in a long time—hope. I still check in with some of the staff. They didn’t just get me sober; they helped me remember who I am and who I want to be.

Transitions Recovery Program in Miami didn’t just help me get sober it gave me a life beyond my wildest dreams. I walked in lost, broken, and unsure if real change was even possible. What I found was a deeply compassionate and structured environment that not only supported my recovery, but challenged me to grow in ways I never thought I could.
The staff is incredible many of them are in recovery themselves, so they get it. They met me where I was without judgment, but also didn’t let me stay stuck in old patterns. The clinical team, the group sessions, the one-on-one therapy, and even the everyday accountability they all played a part in reshaping how I saw myself and the world around me.

Compassion is a really good facility.
