2023 is gone! And now I can go into 2024 with a new attitude and a new life mostly thankful for Perspectives 2. I made some dumb decisions last year that I ended up paying the price for. I consider myself smart and well educated but when alcohol does your thinking its a games changer. I ended up in jail with a DUI and court ordered treatment. The blessing in disguise was the court ordered treatement. I went 12 weeks to group thearpy at Perspectives. I was reluctant and not excited about going until I got there. All of us were in the same boat....nervous, shamed, scared about facing the consequences of our poor decisions. Perspectives group sessions were awesome and extremely helpful. They gave you practical suggestions to help with your addictions and how to deal with the pain you caused others and yourself. The staff that ran these sessions were incredible mainly because they truly cared! It was not a job to them but they had compassion for what your were going through in fact most of them faced similiar situations. I "had" to go to these treatments but would easily have volunterred to go after seeing what they had to offer. Great discussions with a staff that emplified compassion to every one in the class. When you know you messed up and are already down on yourself it is comforting to know folks at Perspectives 2 was there to listen, suggest and most of all show they really cared about your well being and getting you on the right track. They continue to follow up with me a year later! Jamie is awesome in her care and concern....Kudos to her and her staff. Thank you Perspectives 2 for showing honest concern and compassion!

This place is wonderful, they were treating pregnant woman back 2015 when myself an others felt we had no hope, NO ONE would touch us. They live & breathe recovery. They're local to the area, An yes a smaller office but don't lack in the resources to help you and the actual drive to do so! An if Dr.Logan doesn't have a book out by now...he should consider doing so! He's one of the most knowledgeable in the state regarding M.A.T-Outpatient Treatment.
They accept most insurances (yes, including Medicaid) So don't wait till tmro (again) like I did. Call them!

I completed this program thanks to the nursing staff, Counselor Amber, Counselor Eliana, BHT Greg, and all the other dedicated hard workers here. The cleaning staff stole my sweatpants and T- shirt, that I was not too happy about. I enjoyed this program and it had a lot to offer.

Perspective is a good place for treatment. The staff and counselor are great and helpful to you. Been going here for a month for help. The session are helpful and you interact with people like you. They also accept insurance which is a plus. I recommend this place for treatment for those in need.

I had an incredible experience at the Refuge. I would recommend this place to anyone that is struggling with their mental health. My therapist, Debbie, was amazing and helped me overcome a significant challenge in my life. The food is great, the cabins are nice, and the horses were amazing! There are some cons, but each experience depends on how much work you are willing to put into the program.

I was referred to Pamela a couple of weeks after my wife of 33 years passed away unexpectedly in January of this year. Pamela was a Godsend. She was vital in helping me to navigate the grieving process by going through-not around or avoiding it. While i will always love and miss my wife, Pamela has helped me to start to live my life again. I had the great privilege of staying at The Guest House Ocala for 60 days in May and June of this year.
It was the first time I ever did this type of intensive residential therapy and I'm very glad that that experience was in this world class facility.
The range of different modalities - from very powerful small group/individual trauma therapy and informative group presentations, to somatic/drama/art therapy, breath work, sound baths and yin yoga - allows for many different paths to heal and find joy again.
The tremendous and highly trained support staff is an invaluable asset - keeping us safe, protected, heard and rather too well fed!!
I truly believe that my experience at TGH saved my life and helped me ignite an adventure into truly living this wild and wonderful life.

How can you express your gratitude for the people and place that saved your life? I cannot praise the Guest House and its staff enough. From the moment I arrived in Orlando, I was greeted by my driver, Don, who reassured me that the Guest House would change my life for the better. I was deeply touched by the kindness and caring nature of the staff, whether it was the gardener or my therapist. I consistently felt a sense of security and connection during my stay.
The staff was always attentive and fair regarding anything I needed. OG Bob would drive us to meetings, playing the music we loved, which allowed us to sing along and feel joyful. I was grateful for all the activities, whether it was bowling or going to the movies.
Chef KC surprised me daily with the creativity and quality of our meals. Every dish was delicious and healthy, and the standards only increased as time went on.
The living conditions and grounds were nothing short of perfect. We were surrounded by natural beauty both day and night, and our rooms had everything we could need. The classes were engaging and unique—something I had never experienced before—but they were incredibly effective in addressing trauma.
Even after being gone for a year and participating in an alumni weekend, I felt as if I had never left. The Guest House maintained its loving and welcoming atmosphere.
And finally, my therapist, Mark, truly saved my life with his gentle yet honest approach. I have never encountered anyone who has spoken poorly of him or expressed disappointment in his care. His commitment to my well-being was phenomenal and unwavering. He even called me on a Sunday—his day off—when he learned I was struggling. I have never seen or heard of a therapist so devoted to guiding someone through recovery.
I cannot thank the Guest House enough for what they did for me and for the ongoing support I continue to receive after leaving. The weekly Zoom meetings to reconnect with old and new guests are especially crucial to our recovery, even after our time at the Guest House has come to an end. What business would genuinely care about you after you've left, possibly forever? That’s why I will never refer to the Guest House as a business. It is, quite simply, a caring community dedicated to recovery, fostering growth and happiness.
In closing, it’s absolutely true what we’ve heard about the Guest House: it is the best of its kind. It has changed my life and given me meaning once again. Thank you!

It’s hard leaving a review for this, but to any parents out there, I’m super thankful for The Vines and the staff there. Super communicative, if I had any questions they answered them. It was the most stressful and anxiety inducing week of my life having a child in there, but they were kind, helpful, and supportive providing the help my child needed. The nurses and staff went out of their way to get food to accommodate allergies. I’m thankful for the care and therapy received, and most of all that they were safe.

I've been to this facility a few times over the course of a few years, and the last visit was miles ahead of the others. The transformation was remarkable to me. While the staff coordination was lacking in the past, the current team operates with an impressive efficiency and attentiveness.
The facility itself has been noticeably upgraded with a more welcoming atmosphere and modernized amenities. Wait times have decreased significantly, and the administrative process flows much more smoothly now.
You definitely get what you put into it here—their personalized approach rewards patients who actively engage in their care plan. Tsitsi Stephens was exceptional—very professional with a wonderful bedside manner that made me feel comfortable and valued. She took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and created a tailored treatment plan that addressed my specific concerns.
I highly recommend this facility and particularly praise their commitment to continuous improvement, to make way for better quality and outcomes in the future. The positive changes they've implemented demonstrate their dedication to patient care and satisfaction. I wasn’t paid to write this review, just inspired to.

Easy to fill out application, after 8 days even though last week was Thanksgiving I have yet to receive a call back. I have since went to the Citizens Service Center of Ocala and gotten further help with my situation. I'm seeking shelter at this moment. I was also referred to the Recovery House by many of my acquaintances, associates, and family/friends.

Dynasty Ortega is such a great person. She has helped me and my kids in more ways than one. She’s helped with food pantry resources when I didn’t know what to do. She has helped defend me during a really difficult time at a school meeting. Sometimes us moms are doing it all alone but in reality we aren’t . She was and is my net. This place is awesome, there’s a children’s case manager named Dynasty that always goes out of her way to really help her clients and never complains, she put SMA healthcare on the map for our family. Update: I see the other reviews, and I cannot speak for the current situation. My daughter was at OTPR for 9 months in 2016, came home in January 2017. Was she “all better”? By no means, no! It takes time to work through the habits (suicidal and cutting). HOWEVER, my daughter is now 23. She is doing incredibly better, no bad happenings for since 2020, and even that was minor.
Therapy, medication, living with other difficult kids… none of that is “the” solution. It takes time and firm continuous love and wisdom.
OTPR was not perfect, but as the 7th (yes seventh) residential care situation, they did not close the door at 6 months and they believed that my daughter would get better. She’s past her teens, and she is doing awesome.
2016 - Our daughter has been at our turning point ranch for two months now, Who has regular suicidal tendencies since the age of 12. This is the first place that we've been to in four years with her that has been passionate and diligent to try to help her. Prior to OTPR, for almost 2 years she was on medicines That didn't seem to be helping her, yet the psychiatrists kept her on the drug. OTPR offered a genetic/DNA test and assessed her drug absorption based on her DNA. They found out that several drugs previously used before she came to OTPR not only doesn't work with her, but the side effects still happen! Thanks to OTPR's psychiatrist, we are starting to see improvement for our daughter.
UPDATE: 9/2018 - First, this is delayed as My daughter left the facility in January 2017. However, I feel it is important to add a few small items. First OTPR didn't just cut us off after 6 months like the other 6 places did; they fought for time to get my daughter better.
Further, the counselor was the only one who strategy worked - made my daughter think, dealt with confrontations.
Last, yes, my daughter also complained about staff, but the staff is dealing with 6-8 "problem" teenage girls (not co-ed) every day - they have to manage exaggerations, lies, manipulations, defiance, etc. constantly. In my eyes, they did what they had to do. Firmly and consistently.

I previously reviewed this practice, and this is to add on to my initial findings. The staff and all personnel working there are truly five star, as I stated previously!!!! However , I injured myself and needed an appointment last Monday. My Dr. Dr London was enjoying a well deserved vacation, and I was asked if I would like to see Dr. Gerard Casale. I agreed and I am here to say after meeting and being examined, I was so happy that Dr. Casale was able to exactly diagnose the problem, and he prescribed the proper medication for the proper time, and the proper strength!!!! It has been a week now, and I’m almost back to normal!!!! Dr. Casale said it would take 7 to 10 days. Being older at 62 years of age, I’ll take the full 10 days. I’m in no hurry!!!!!! Simed medical has done it again!!!!! When my five star Dr. Heather London is on vacation, no problem, as long as I can see my five star Dr Gerard Casale, I am very happy and very well taken care of !!!!! I am so pleased with the Super Dr. Gerard Casale, and there is no practice that I will go to for my primary care other than this Simed medical, because I only allow myself to be treated by the best physicians!!!!!!!! Dr. London and Dr. Casale are the best in the business. Thank you Dr. Casale and, I am so proud and honored to be your patient, and the gratitude I feel for you, and Dr. London, and all the staff is so strong, I am very unique patient, and I am very knowledgeable medically. Because of this I feel I have the credentials to write these reviews. What I have presented to you is actual fact, I have to be examined and treated by ONLY Dr. London or Dr. Casale , because they understand respect and honor the needs of a patient, who is like no other patient. Trust me, I am very different than the majority of our population, and I need to be treated like a very different and special individual!!!! These two doctors are on a scale of one to ten, they are both ten,at treating me correctly and then properly.
