2023 is gone! And now I can go into 2024 with a new attitude and a new life mostly thankful for Perspectives 2. I made some dumb decisions last year that I ended up paying the price for. I consider myself smart and well educated but when alcohol does your thinking its a games changer. I ended up in jail with a DUI and court ordered treatment. The blessing in disguise was the court ordered treatement. I went 12 weeks to group thearpy at Perspectives. I was reluctant and not excited about going until I got there. All of us were in the same boat....nervous, shamed, scared about facing the consequences of our poor decisions. Perspectives group sessions were awesome and extremely helpful. They gave you practical suggestions to help with your addictions and how to deal with the pain you caused others and yourself. The staff that ran these sessions were incredible mainly because they truly cared! It was not a job to them but they had compassion for what your were going through in fact most of them faced similiar situations. I "had" to go to these treatments but would easily have volunterred to go after seeing what they had to offer. Great discussions with a staff that emplified compassion to every one in the class. When you know you messed up and are already down on yourself it is comforting to know folks at Perspectives 2 was there to listen, suggest and most of all show they really cared about your well being and getting you on the right track. They continue to follow up with me a year later! Jamie is awesome in her care and concern....Kudos to her and her staff. Thank you Perspectives 2 for showing honest concern and compassion!

This place is wonderful, they were treating pregnant woman back 2015 when myself an others felt we had no hope, NO ONE would touch us. They live & breathe recovery. They're local to the area, An yes a smaller office but don't lack in the resources to help you and the actual drive to do so! An if Dr.Logan doesn't have a book out by now...he should consider doing so! He's one of the most knowledgeable in the state regarding M.A.T-Outpatient Treatment.
They accept most insurances (yes, including Medicaid) So don't wait till tmro (again) like I did. Call them!
At Recovery Village in Umatilla, Florida all my needs were met by the staff and my peers. I didn’t have expectations when I arrived here, so leaving with a solid treatment plan, all of my appointments made by Chris my case manager, and I completed all my assignments from my therapist. I have the shout out for my therapist, Barb, Kelly, who works in the kitchen, some BHT’s named Shannon, Candy, Sherrie, Roz, Dorian, Ron, Mary, and I’m sure there’s many more but I’m being rushed to finish the survey Lol. I’m going home right now feeling amazing and I’m ready to go to meetings work with a sponsor, etc. I thoroughly have been taught about the AA program. Things. Had a great experience! This place saved my life. Everyone here is super nice and helpful. A bunch of the staff is in recovery. That is an awesome thing to be with all the people in the same boat as me.

I completed this program thanks to the nursing staff, Counselor Amber, Counselor Eliana, BHT Greg, and all the other dedicated hard workers here. The cleaning staff stole my sweatpants and T- shirt, that I was not too happy about. I enjoyed this program and it had a lot to offer.

This place is good. Shout out Josiah the head chef he makes really good food. Breakfast is good everything is. The therapist are good. This place really teaches more about science, the right side and left side of the brain. All the staff treated me well.

I recently saw Dr. Oliva and her staff and I've seen a lot of Doctors over the years but very few have been as awesome as this. Virgina, the Doctors Program Director has been extremely helpful with many diffrent obsticals and she has gone above and beyond to help with everything. She even helped me out during Thanksgiving while she was with her family on the road. Dr. Oliva has been extremly helpful and isn't just there to call the shots but she listens and wants to hear you out and make sure you're happy with you're quality of care. I have nothing but respect and good things to say about Perspectives and staff. My situation was a little diffrent than most but regardless these people care about you!

Its a nice facility, medical care is a little messed up but besides that its a wonderful place and campus 😊. They may change you're meds doses or just flat out not give you them a lot of people have left because of that. Shelly the clinical director can be a little passive aggressive and if you get on her bad side it can mess up most of you're stay here. Everyone else is wonderful Wades the best case manager and helped me with a lot and Matt my therapist is wonderful and has helped me work through a lot of issues. BRING BUG SPRAY!

The Refuge, specifically the therapist Deborah, has been a major blessing for me. As an 18 year old addict, I’ve been a mess from a young age. The Refuge offers a place of healing and unconditional love for any and everybody willing to do the work. Go to new season and I know it'll be the best thing you ever did they just continue to get better the new stuff is awesome The new coordinator He's on top of everything and my new counselor Melanie she just rocks it I don't know how I don't know how she has so much care for her patients and will work so hard for them and I like my last counselor but I've not seen this kind of devotion in a counselor besides Julio which I've discovered to be tremendously a helpful person in my life his groups just make you be able to get through the week and there's more than one reason to go to groups you know but the reason mainly is to stay clean and get clean and I called it a life changer now it's a game changer because it's completely changed the way I play my game and I get scared of change of new stuff but new seasons they've got it covered because they hire good people so no matter who you get you're in good hands. I urge people who are trying to decide to go or not and have that scale tipping just tip it on in all you got to do is just take that baby step and then the next baby step after that and then it won't be so hard I just don't want to hear any more about these deaths or families lives being ruined it's it's sad and it took me a long time to see it from the other side it's new season who got me to the other side Melanie she rocks it and Mr Tim he seems very on top of it very professional like I said I just do put this on here because I hope if anybody's facing their recovery on the reviews do it you know do it for you and do it at new season even if you don't get Melanie all the other counselors are good Julio I know he's an excellent counselor I know all of the counselors are great people

I don't know why people go to places like this when you can go to Dr bellum in dunnellon Florida and get a script of Suboxone total pay maybe $250 for the month for 30 pills that you can literally take a quarter a day so one month last 4 months I heard it's like 20 a day for methadone that doesn't even last 24 hours and you're not getting drug tested every damn day and you're not being treated like a junky

i can't thank this place enough, they helped my achieve my goal. They are a true Miracle and some people blame them because they can't get it. If you want it they have it, but you have to open yourself up tp chance, as Change is Growth.
My experience has been very good so far. Great staff with a wealth of knowledge on addiction and they strive to keep you on track.

I severed at total freedom for many year. I know I'm still alive today because of this program and Ministry I learned how to have a personal relationship with god through Christ Jesus. Though my walk has not been perfect my road has been paved with His grace and I can say that because of this place my life is different. I still deal with daily fights but at least I'm in the fight no longer a casualty of the war. Though this place is not easy it's solid, it's real, and it's truth.!!!

Since joining groups my life has completely changed the counselor's and group members are very supportive.
I never have any issues getting my meds,
and there's rewards for attendance in group.
My insurance covers all expenses and prescriptions. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with addiction or any other life issues.

They have always done a great job with anything related to my care. Dr. Thompson is a very caring and attentive doctor.
I had the great privilege of staying at The Guest House Ocala for 60 days in May and June of this year.
It was the first time I ever did this type of intensive residential therapy and I'm very glad that that experience was in this world class facility.
The range of different modalities - from very powerful small group/individual trauma therapy and informative group presentations, to somatic/drama/art therapy, breath work, sound baths and yin yoga - allows for many different paths to heal and find joy again.
The tremendous and highly trained support staff is an invaluable asset - keeping us safe, protected, heard and rather too well fed!!
I truly believe that my experience at TGH saved my life and helped me ignite an adventure into truly living this wild and wonderful life.

Sabal Palms in Brooksville, FL has been absolutely exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much the staff truly cares about the residents and their families. The environment is clean, warm, and welcoming, and the level of professionalism is unmatched.
I especially want to acknowledge the director, Teresa, who goes above and beyond in every way. Her leadership, compassion, and commitment to ensuring that everyone receives the best possible care really sets the tone for the entire facility. Teresa is attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure families feel supported. Her presence alone brings comfort and confidence.
If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with respect, dignity, and kindness, Sabal Palms is an excellent choice. Highly recommend.

Sabal Palms recovery was an amazing place to attend. There’s Was a tight knit community. The facility only holds 32 clients at max but when I was there, there were only about 16 to 20 people. So our groups were small and comfortable. The counselors, nurses, BHAs, and kitchen (food really good) were amazing. Tripp the CEO was very friendly and took care of things that needed to be taken care of. Overall, the facility and the staff were amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone.
It’s hard leaving a review for this, but to any parents out there, I’m super thankful for The Vines and the staff there. Super communicative, if I had any questions they answered them. It was the most stressful and anxiety inducing week of my life having a child in there, but they were kind, helpful, and supportive providing the help my child needed. The nurses and staff went out of their way to get food to accommodate allergies. I’m thankful for the care and therapy received, and most of all that they were safe.

I've been to this facility a few times over the course of a few years, and the last visit was miles ahead of the others. The transformation was remarkable to me. While the staff coordination was lacking in the past, the current team operates with an impressive efficiency and attentiveness.
The facility itself has been noticeably upgraded with a more welcoming atmosphere and modernized amenities. Wait times have decreased significantly, and the administrative process flows much more smoothly now.
You definitely get what you put into it here—their personalized approach rewards patients who actively engage in their care plan. Tsitsi Stephens was exceptional—very professional with a wonderful bedside manner that made me feel comfortable and valued. She took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and created a tailored treatment plan that addressed my specific concerns.
I highly recommend this facility and particularly praise their commitment to continuous improvement, to make way for better quality and outcomes in the future. The positive changes they've implemented demonstrate their dedication to patient care and satisfaction. I wasn’t paid to write this review, just inspired to.

Easy to fill out application, after 8 days even though last week was Thanksgiving I have yet to receive a call back. I have since went to the Citizens Service Center of Ocala and gotten further help with my situation. I'm seeking shelter at this moment. I was also referred to the Recovery House by many of my acquaintances, associates, and family/friends.

Dynasty Ortega is such a great person. She has helped me and my kids in more ways than one. She’s helped with food pantry resources when I didn’t know what to do. This place is awesome, there’s a children’s case manager named Dynasty that always goes out of her way to really help her clients and never complains, she put SMA healthcare on the map for our family. My family really needed help, and everybody was accommodating. I couldn’t be more thankful for them and all the services that SMA healthcare provide.

Update: I see the other reviews, and I cannot speak for the current situation. My daughter was at OTPR for 9 months in 2016, came home in January 2017. Was she “all better”? By no means, no! It takes time to work through the habits (suicidal and cutting). HOWEVER, my daughter is now 23. She is doing incredibly better, no bad happenings for since 2020, and even that was minor.
Therapy, medication, living with other difficult kids… none of that is “the” solution. It takes time and firm continuous love and wisdom.
OTPR was not perfect, but as the 7th (yes seventh) residential care situation, they did not close the door at 6 months and they believed that my daughter would get better. She’s past her teens, and she is doing awesome.
2016 - Our daughter has been at our turning point ranch for two months now, Who has regular suicidal tendencies since the age of 12. This is the first place that we've been to in four years with her that has been passionate and diligent to try to help her. Prior to OTPR, for almost 2 years she was on medicines That didn't seem to be helping her, yet the psychiatrists kept her on the drug. OTPR offered a genetic/DNA test and assessed her drug absorption based on her DNA. They found out that several drugs previously used before she came to OTPR not only doesn't work with her, but the side effects still happen! Thanks to OTPR's psychiatrist, we are starting to see improvement for our daughter.
UPDATE: 9/2018 - First, this is delayed as My daughter left the facility in January 2017. However, I feel it is important to add a few small items. First OTPR didn't just cut us off after 6 months like the other 6 places did; they fought for time to get my daughter better.
Further, the counselor was the only one who strategy worked - made my daughter think, dealt with confrontations.
Last, yes, my daughter also complained about staff, but the staff is dealing with 6-8 "problem" teenage girls (not co-ed) every day - they have to manage exaggerations, lies, manipulations, defiance, etc. constantly. In my eyes, they did what they had to do. Firmly and consistently.

I previously reviewed this practice, and this is to add on to my initial findings. The staff and all personnel working there are truly five star, as I stated previously!!!! However , I injured myself and needed an appointment last Monday. My Dr. Dr London was enjoying a well deserved vacation, and I was asked if I would like to see Dr. Gerard Casale. I agreed and I am here to say after meeting and being examined, I was so happy that Dr. Casale was able to exactly diagnose the problem, and he prescribed the proper medication for the proper time, and the proper strength!!!! It has been a week now, and I’m almost back to normal!!!! Dr. Casale said it would take 7 to 10 days. Being older at 62 years of age, I’ll take the full 10 days. I’m in no hurry!!!!!! Simed medical has done it again!!!!! When my five star Dr. Heather London is on vacation, no problem, as long as I can see my five star Dr Gerard Casale, I am very happy and very well taken care of !!!!! I am so pleased with the Super Dr. Gerard Casale, and there is no practice that I will go to for my primary care other than this Simed medical, because I only allow myself to be treated by the best physicians!!!!!!!! Dr. London and Dr. Casale are the best in the business. Thank you Dr. Casale and, I am so proud and honored to be your patient, and the gratitude I feel for you, and Dr. London, and all the staff is so strong, I am very unique patient, and I am very knowledgeable medically. Because of this I feel I have the credentials to write these reviews. What I have presented to you is actual fact, I have to be examined and treated by ONLY Dr. London or Dr. Casale , because they understand respect and honor the needs of a patient, who is like no other patient. Trust me, I am very different than the majority of our population, and I need to be treated like a very different and special individual!!!! These two doctors are on a scale of one to ten, they are both ten,at treating me correctly and then properly. In Ocala, I had major problems with 2 other practitioners, and now I have finally found a home!!!!!
