2023 is gone! And now I can go into 2024 with a new attitude and a new life mostly thankful for Perspectives 2. I made some dumb decisions last year that I ended up paying the price for. I consider myself smart and well educated but when alcohol does your thinking its a games changer. I ended up in jail with a DUI and court ordered treatment. The blessing in disguise was the court ordered treatement. I went 12 weeks to group thearpy at Perspectives. I was reluctant and not excited about going until I got there. All of us were in the same boat....nervous, shamed, scared about facing the consequences of our poor decisions. Perspectives group sessions were awesome and extremely helpful. They gave you practical suggestions to help with your addictions and how to deal with the pain you caused others and yourself. The staff that ran these sessions were incredible mainly because they truly cared! It was not a job to them but they had compassion for what your were going through in fact most of them faced similiar situations. I "had" to go to these treatments but would easily have volunterred to go after seeing what they had to offer. Great discussions with a staff that emplified compassion to every one in the class. When you know you messed up and are already down on yourself it is comforting to know folks at Perspectives 2 was there to listen, suggest and most of all show they really cared about your well being and getting you on the right track. They continue to follow up with me a year later! Jamie is awesome in her care and concern....Kudos to her and her staff. Thank you Perspectives 2 for showing honest concern and compassion!

This place is wonderful, they were treating pregnant woman back 2015 when myself an others felt we had no hope, NO ONE would touch us. They live & breathe recovery. They're local to the area, An yes a smaller office but don't lack in the resources to help you and the actual drive to do so! An if Dr.Logan doesn't have a book out by now...he should consider doing so! He's one of the most knowledgeable in the state regarding M.A.T-Outpatient Treatment.
They accept most insurances (yes, including Medicaid) So don't wait till tmro (again) like I did. Call them!

I had the chance to visit The Refuge recently to get a feel for what it's all about, and I was beyond impressed. The campus is absolutely pristine, the staff that I had a chance to meet was incredible and the clients genuinely looked happy and at ease. I spent a whole month of May at the (refuge) for severe anxiety, severe depression, and severe DPDR. When I got there, I had lost almost 30 pounds because I couldn’t eat and wasn’t leaving the house. When I left there, I still had work to do, but I was able to function again. My therapist Naomi went out of her way on many occasions to help me,, and my psychiatrist Francis work to help me find the right combination and dosage of medication. I really really enjoyed the art therapy with Kelli and the yoga classes were also great. I am gluten-free and the kitchen stuff also went out of their way to make sure that I had options at every meal. I only give it four stars out of five because nothing is perfect… Some of the classes were a little repetitive, but I still got a lot out of them. If you are struggling with mental health issues and seeing a psychiatrist at home is not enough, I would highly recommend The (refuge).

Perspective is a good place for treatment. The staff and counselor are great and helpful to you. Been going here for a month for help. The session are helpful and you interact with people like you. They also accept insurance which is a plus. I recommend this place for treatment for those in need.

I am a counselor and recently a person I know had an unexpected mental health crisis. I am experienced in mental health and what to look for and Harmony Hills provided excellent care to her! Most importantly, she received quality mental health care! She also reported great food, accommodations, enjoyable activities, and overall compassion and care. The staff, especially Eddie, Leah, Christine, and Nicole were collaborative and were professional and personable throughout the intake to her completion of the program. I am happy and relieved that she has recovered well and can't say enough good things about Harmony Hills. I would and will recommend them to my clients and anyone who needs residential treatment. They were a Godsend!

If you are thinking about going to Harmony Hill, I would recommend to go as soon as you can for help you need. Went to the VA clinic today as a walk-in to inquire about a possible repair for my hearing aids. I fully expected to have to leave them and have them send them out for repairs.

I was referred to Pamela a couple of weeks after my wife of 33 years passed away unexpectedly in January of this year. Pamela was a Godsend. She was vital in helping me to navigate the grieving process by going through-not around or avoiding it. While i will always love and miss my wife, Pamela has helped me to start to live my life again. My journey of grief will be with me for the rest of my life, I do have a life and owe it to myself and those i care about to live it.

Groups has been amazing! When I was in a tough spot with no childcare nor transportation & I found myself out of my prescription I searched around for telemedicine options & found Groups recover together. I decided to give them a call to explain my situation & they were a life saver where I happened to get into the program the very same day. In the beginning I was a little nervous of the weekly group meetings as I have anxiety being around others, especially with strangers while sharing about personal experiences that are not my proudest moments. I quickly overcame that & enjoy everyone. I consider many of them friends I can talk to when I need a listening ear. They have an app that I’ve never had any problems with, you will use this to update your care plan, submit drug test, & will join your meetings through if you choose the telemedicine option. Once in the program for a while, you meet with your counselor, office manager, & the other members in your area weekly; then a physician monthly where they will then send your medication to the pharmacy. If you have any problems you will have their numbers to reach out to, also a hotline you can call after office hours for anything from support/prescription issues/if you need to see the DR sooner/want to attend an extra meeting/reschedule if something comes up in your usual week etc.They are here to help you, not judge/punish you if you have a slip up during your recovery. Just make sure to be honest with them. Everything is confidential; A quote we say is “what happens in Groups, stays in group” (like in Vegas :D). You can be yourself & not feel judged as none of us are perfect but we’re all doing the work to become better. If you’re thinking about it & struggle with opiate dependence, CHOOSE GROUPS! I continue to recommended to any family &/or friends that need the help. I am truly thankful for this program, the ones who work for groups, as well as the participants that keep the program going. So many of us rely on what Groups offer & I pray the telehealth option in our state continues as I wouldn’t be able to be here without it. I want to say Mark at The Guest House Ocala is the best therapist I have ever had in my life. I got more from a session with him, than I did seeing an outside therapist for a month. He helped me heal tremendously, more than I thought was possible. I can tell that he genuinely, truly, cares about his clients and is not just here for paycheck. Mark is my therapy dad.

Amazing culinary recipes from the kitchen staff. The food was always delicious and they did a hell of a job.
Case management was amazing. They set me up for success once I leave here. Valentina in case management supported me throughout my guest house journey and gave me a safe place to vent and be myself. It made me realize that there are still kind people out there who I can trust and rely on during hard times.
OG's,/House Managers were amazing and friendly and were always there for me when I needed them. We all grew very close and I spent majority of my time with them because of how friendly and accepting they were. They are one of the aspects that made my stay here truly remarkable. We shared a lot of laughter together for everyday.
Clinical team was incredible at their jobs. They were always there to help me and the community whenever problems arose. They were always friendly and had an open door policy.

I have to admit that being transferred to the vice was not my choice. I had no say the matter I probably spent 10 hours during the process from one hospital to the next coming from the Meridian in Lake City.
After that, everything went very smoothly. I have to say that the staff were all very professional and provided excellent insight as to the process that I was going through and That I had no idea of what to expect.
This is a tough transition for everybody and while I believe that it was overkill in my case I can appreciate The Magnitude of the process and White necessary.
I received excellent care and advice and counseling. The food was acceptable on a scale of one to 10. I’d say the food was a 7 Considering The situation.

When I arrived I was very sick. I had difficulty trusting anyone. My Doctor was patient and persistent I take all medications prescribed. I was reluctant but I wanted to leave. After taking what was prescribed and going to all group therapy I began to really feel better. I think it’s only natural to be critical of places that your mind wants to fight. The Techs, Nurses and Doctors really do know what they are doing. I would like to say Aaron and Jeanine were 2 techs who really helped me.

I've been to this facility a few times over the course of a few years, and the last visit was miles ahead of the others. The transformation was remarkable to me. While the staff coordination was lacking in the past, the current team operates with an impressive efficiency and attentiveness.
The facility itself has been noticeably upgraded with a more welcoming atmosphere and modernized amenities. Wait times have decreased significantly, and the administrative process flows much more smoothly now.
You definitely get what you put into it here—their personalized approach rewards patients who actively engage in their care plan. Tsitsi Stephens was exceptional—very professional with a wonderful bedside manner that made me feel comfortable and valued. She took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and created a tailored treatment plan that addressed my specific concerns.
I highly recommend this facility and particularly praise their commitment to continuous improvement, to make way for better quality and outcomes in the future. The positive changes they've implemented demonstrate their dedication to patient care and satisfaction. I wasn’t paid to write this review, just inspired to.

I have since went to the Citizens Service Center of Ocala and gotten further help with my situation. I'm seeking shelter at this moment. Update: I see the other reviews, and I cannot speak for the current situation. My daughter was at OTPR for 9 months in 2016, came home in January 2017. Was she “all better”? By no means, no! It takes time to work through the habits (suicidal and cutting). HOWEVER, my daughter is now 23. She is doing incredibly better, no bad happenings for since 2020, and even that was minor.
Therapy, medication, living with other difficult kids… none of that is “the” solution. It takes time and firm continuous love and wisdom.
OTPR was not perfect, but as the 7th (yes seventh) residential care situation, they did not close the door at 6 months and they believed that my daughter would get better. She’s past her teens, and she is doing awesome.
2016 - Our daughter has been at our turning point ranch for two months now, Who has regular suicidal tendencies since the age of 12. This is the first place that we've been to in four years with her that has been passionate and diligent to try to help her. Prior to OTPR, for almost 2 years she was on medicines That didn't seem to be helping her, yet the psychiatrists kept her on the drug. OTPR offered a genetic/DNA test and assessed her drug absorption based on her DNA. They found out that several drugs previously used before she came to OTPR not only doesn't work with her, but the side effects still happen! Thanks to OTPR's psychiatrist, we are starting to see improvement for our daughter.
UPDATE: 9/2018 - First, this is delayed as My daughter left the facility in January 2017. However, I feel it is important to add a few small items. First OTPR didn't just cut us off after 6 months like the other 6 places did; they fought for time to get my daughter better.
Further, the counselor was the only one who strategy worked - made my daughter think, dealt with confrontations.
Last, yes, my daughter also complained about staff, but the staff is dealing with 6-8 "problem" teenage girls (not co-ed) every day - they have to manage exaggerations, lies, manipulations, defiance, etc. constantly. In my eyes, they did what they had to do. Firmly and consistently.

I previously reviewed this practice, and this is to add on to my initial findings. The staff and all personnel working there are truly five star, as I stated previously!!!! However , I injured myself and needed an appointment last Monday. My Dr. Dr London was enjoying a well deserved vacation, and I was asked if I would like to see Dr. Gerard Casale. I agreed and I am here to say after meeting and being examined, I was so happy that Dr. Casale was able to exactly diagnose the problem, and he prescribed the proper medication for the proper time, and the proper strength!!!! It has been a week now, and I’m almost back to normal!!!! Dr. Casale said it would take 7 to 10 days. Being older at 62 years of age, I’ll take the full 10 days. I’m in no hurry!!!!!! Simed medical has done it again!!!!! When my five star Dr. Heather London is on vacation, no problem, as long as I can see my five star Dr Gerard Casale, I am very happy and very well taken care of !!!!! I am so pleased with the Super Dr. Gerard Casale, and there is no practice that I will go to for my primary care other than this Simed medical, because I only allow myself to be treated by the best physicians!!!!!!!! Dr. London and Dr. Casale are the best in the business. Thank you Dr. Casale and, I am so proud and honored to be your patient, and the gratitude I feel for you, and Dr. London, and all the staff is so strong, I am very unique patient, and I am very knowledgeable medically. Because of this I feel I have the credentials to write these reviews. What I have presented to you is actual fact, I have to be examined and treated by ONLY Dr. London or Dr. Casale , because they understand respect and honor the needs of a patient, who is like no other patient.
