After weeks of searching for a place that would take my insurance I lucked out and found Dr Schaeffer and Dr Asare. Both great guys. If you're at a low point in your life and need a doctor who cares then look no further. Thank you guys for being so flexible and easy to work with. I have to take the bus all over town and it's hard to be right on time for an appointment without being super early and the guys always work with me. These doctors are the ones that care about the patient's health by keeping them on a simple program which keeps you on the right track. I went to rehab while facing drug charges. First was Hazelden/Betty Ford. After five weeks, they wrote a letter to the judge on my case that said, “Sam has emotional issues that we are unequipped to deal with.” I transferred to a second dual diagnosis treatment center that was, similarly, unable to help me. With very little hope, I tried a third time, at Tranquil Shores. I can’t pretend that it was an easy/totally smooth experience, but they were the first team to not give up on me. They were the only facility that actually lived up to their promise of “individualized treatment.” I have a graduate degree from one of the top universities in the world but the most important education I ever received was from Tranquil Shores. It’s one of the only places I’ve ever really felt welcome. I can’t say enough good things about their program. If you or a loved one are lost and struggling, ready to give up, go to Tranquil Shores.

Out of all the treatment programs I have participated in, Tranquil Shores goes above and beyond in all areas to help a client succeed on their recovery path. Clinically, the team does an excellent job at addressing each area of life where mental health and substance abuse are affected. The overall atmosphere is one of care and it is the type of care that challenges someone to grow. I would only suggest Tranquil Shores to a friend or loved one in need of treatment. Best team ever!

June 2023, I attended Transformations and had a wonderful and very healing experience. I recently have celebrated 600 days sober from alcohol, which is what I went into rehab for. I did intensive outpatient with Riverside in the summer of 2024. It was wonderful! The group therapy sessions were aimed at us patients helping one another get through recovery and life as newly sober people. The one on one sessions focused on my personal issues and struggles with recovery. They also do family sessions which help the entire family navigate this new life. I highly recommend Riverside for anyone looking for help.

I’ve been to a decent amount of treatment programs and this one honestly saved my life! The staff genuinely cares and the groups teach extremely valuable life skills. I remember when I first got to detox and was extremely sick, they would make sure I ate and bring me food straight to my bed. Ad the food is amazing too. They have a coffee and smoothie station and the lady who runs that is the absolute sweetest. Deb was my therapist and really.helped me out with a lot I had going on. I’ve been sober 16 months, which is the longest I’ve ever had and can’t see myself ever going back. I recommend this place to everyone looking to get serious help and turn their life around. This place really helps a lot if you just stick with it and want it for yourself everyone is super nice and compassionate and super helpful, and they are just there that do their job and they're all professionals, and they do very well at the job and they're very kind and they just want to see people do better, that struggle with addiction, but you also have to want it for yourself. The program works. It's definitely a great program. I definitely recommend it if you're struggling with an addiction. Started when I found out I was pregnant. I listened to my counselor and The Pediatrician they had offering classes advice and my baby girl was born full term average weight (7.4) and zero.... im talking not even 1 tremor or score over 4 withdrawal symptoms. Based on my experience, this is the best detox in Florida (and I've been to the higher end ones). Here's why: the staff are polite, courteous, and helpful. The food is catered by restaurants and it's simply delicious, there is adequate space and you're not crammed in like sardines, coffee and snacks are always available. What's more, they offer a residential program that consists of apartments with one roommate. Smoke/vape whenever you want. Take it from a rehab expert: nothing beats Turning Point of Tampa!

Turning point was a blessing for me....for the care I DID receive...although I was kicked out for getting into an argument with a "therapist" Jackie who got snotty with me and talked down on me and yelled at me to "go to group" , when I was in the office on my phone approved by house manager......Jackie was a disgrace and very rude to most female clients....other than that my experience was great.....I only wish I was allowed to come back and start over..never suffered during detox, and residential was great. Loved Jeffery, one of the best house managers!!!

Anr clinic completely gave me my life back. I had been addicted for the last 15 years and was very skeptical about the whole treatment. But I’m living proof it works. I had the procedure on a Wednesday and was back at work by Monday. Everybody involved in the process was great answered any and all questions. Just a heads up: the procedure does work, and you will eventually feel better. But be prepared for the immediate aftermath—it’s tough. Even after sedation, (when you withdrew and thrashed and sweat for hours strapped to a table.) You’re going to hurt and feel rough for a while. The good news is that by about day 7, I felt back to normal. My best advice: push yourself to exercise when you can. Getting those endorphins going really helps.

I would give it a five star but nothing is perfect, not even me. I am winding down here after successfully completing a inpatient treatment center and stepping down to this PHP.
The executive director Kiersan is what I would call "top of the game" in his role here. He is so good at what he does that i I never knew he was the "boss" until my house mate told me.
Some ppl are born to do things in life and some are not . He was born to be the executive director. He is that 👍 good.
95% of the staff from clinical to the techs are just as good. They genuinely care for the clients.
Now don't take gushing of praise as if there are no cons. There is . And I will say as follows. There are a couple of staff that are just the most unprofessional ppl in any business I have encountered. They have the personality of lemon . And just turns you off from the time you lay eyes on them , or at least they did me. They have bad bad aura about them and horrible spirit and energy. And as time progressed I UNDERSTAND WHY.
Overall of you really want to learn how to stay clean and sober or you have a loved one that you would want the best for in this situation
TBRC is the place.
I dont post lightly either.
I have and will continue to gain their knowledge to continue and trudge the road into my destiny

BoardPrep Recovery really changed my life! I was broken and not in a good place going into treatment. I had a lot thrown at me while in treatment and the staff helped me get through it. The intense therapy had a positive impact on me! I no longer have to take depression medication. ALL of the staff are supportive, caring and nurturing. Fairwinds saved my life. I've been sober for a year and a half and going strong because of the help I got there. I can honestly say if you want it, listen to everything being said to you there and do the work on yourself you will love your life. The nurses and therapist helped me in so many ways. I was comfortable and felt safe while I was there.

I did intensive outpatient with Riverside in the summer of 2024. It was wonderful! The group therapy sessions were aimed at us patients helping one another get through recovery and life as newly sober people. The one on one sessions focused on my personal issues and struggles with recovery. They also do family sessions which help the entire family navigate this new life. I highly recommend Riverside for anyone looking for help.

I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.

This is a “no-frills”, last stop for someone who is desperate to make it to tomorrow. If you want sobriety, are out of options and are willing to go to any lengths to get it, Turning Point might work for you. Your success rate is commensurate with the amount of effort you are willing to expend, your ability to follow instructions, and the degree to which you are honest with yourself. This place saved my life.

Par was a great place overall but when your six months are up you are scrambling to find somewhere to go. They DO NOT help in that area. To be completely honest it was the best rehab I've been to. It's the only one that I've stayed out of trouble since leaving.

I understand some people have bad experiences with methadone but in my personal experience it saved my life. I was at my peak rock bottom and this place has helped me quit fentanyl. Monica, Chandra, Tina, Lisa, Kassi, and Mary are amazing! They’re the only reason I still keep coming to this clinic! I just found out there is one closer to me, but I’d rather travel to this clinic and be treated like a human being than go anywhere else! They have made my recovery possible! They go above and beyond to make sure you are following the right steps and comfortable in your recovery! I have been to one other clinic and it was terrible. Long lines, people who treated you like you were trash because you are an addict. Just an overall terrible experience at PAR! Coming here changed everything for me! Thank you guys!
