I went to several places this past Summer looking for help. It was my first time seeking this type of help. I left Sunrise due to my specific health issues that made my detox complicated. However, these people were by far the most caring and invested folks I found out pf all of the different ones I dealt with. The Practitioner was really outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I went from new seasons to this clinic, I was at 40 mg from new seasons- I was over sedated at 40 mg so they brought me down to 35 than to 30 and I was still over sedated at 30. So new seasons brought me down to 20mg. I was good at 20mg- I wanted to taper down though. I tapered down at 1mg a day. I was on methadone for a month and a week or two. I was going to dose for the last time- this memorial weekend that past we're my last 3 doses for 3mg,2mg and 1mg. I didn't know that I could get prescribed comfort meds by Jim or I would of done it before the weekend because it was a long weekend. I went into the clinic and cried to Christina than told her I was struggling. She got me prescribed comfort meds that day and so did jim. I got most of the comfort meds filled except one because the pharmacy wanted to speak with Jim first. I went into the office the next day to tell jim and he handled it right away. I went into dosing voluntarily but I was admitted to do IOP. IOP, counseling and the dosing has helped me so much- the dosing is more affordable at aspire as well. The comfort meds have really helped me- if you work the program it'll work. I got good sleep through the night and definitely feel better.

If you can endure the lengthy intake process, everything else is quick and efficient. All the staff, from the front desk to providers were on point, and informative. Yes there are some delays from time to time just from over crowding or should I say a lot of clients all at once. Worth a shot if your trying to change your life and get clean. Good luck and stay strong !!

January 2, 2024, my then 21 year old daughter entered ORC for alcohol and drug rehab. By a miracle of life, she survived a fentynol overdose on New Year's morning. To say the least, our family was living in the upside-down. A day after her admission, I was contacted by counselor Johanna and family trauma therapist Ace Cooper. If I can give this team 10 stars, I would. Their patience, presence and direction taken to help my daughter... words cannot express. My daughter has seeked counseling prior to this incident but with little true success... she would play pretend or dismiss doctor's recommendations very easily which evidently snowballed to alcohol abuse and drug addiction. Ace and Johanna's methods and team work saved my daughter. The family sessions during her stay at ORC were very productive and eye opening. She slowly regained remorse, emotion, and accountability. She has beaten the odds!! She is still consistent with counseling in her recovery journey. I can not say enough about this out patient program. Janiya and Minor helped save myself from drunken despair and I am back to my normal sober self. I learned the skills needed to protect my sobriety for the rest of my life. It is hard work and you have to do the homework and put the effort in but it is well worth it. Unforgettable experience. Almost all staff there when I was there to rehabilitate, was thoughtful and had their hearts in the right place. The program directors, support councilors, and all other staff members on campus made sure almost daily to check up on the youth, and building solid foundations of trust needed to have consistent progress in therapy both in session and internal. There were opportunities to further your education and if you could show responsibility and determination to better yourself, your given opportunity’s to learn more hands on life skills, like painting or how to properly write a resume and apply for a Job. While from the perspective of being rehabilitated, things can seem negative and hopeless at times. When I was there I didn’t share an positive outlook, but after deeply analyzing my experience In hindsight, this was the safest and most caring place to learn necessary coping skills to stay recovered. And I’m very thankful for all the staff members who did their job with their heart and minds in the right place. 5 stars

I did time there 2002 to 2003. It was called ARC back then. They had alot of escapes there. Mrs Flowers was the best person there. We were placed in cottages like a summer camp..they fed us well. I learned alot from my experience

The IOP program here is amazing, would highly recommend it to anyone continuing on in their recovery journey. Lyma is an awesome therapist, in the group setting and in one on one sessions. Amy is a really helpful case manager and will answer any questions you may have and point you in the right direction of resources to help you. The men’s sober living on Concord Street is a really nice, supportive environment that’s conveniently located a two minute walk away from daily AA meetings. The house is run by Patrick and Glenda and they make sure you are well taken care of, make you aware of any and all resources available to help you get back on your feet, and really care about your success in your recovery.

This is a wonderful, caring clinic! Steve, the director is great! He is also efficient, helpful and respectful. He has an important job and it isn't easy! All of the nurses are kind and really go out of their way to help me with whatever I need! My counselor, Nikiya Golden is great at her job. She never comes down on me and talks to me about my day to day life which lets me know she cares! She is an asset to New Seasons and I feel blessed to have her as my counselor! I really love my clinic and I don't want to leave so to anyone out there struggling with addiction, please try this New Seasons first and see how a well run clinic can change your life for the better! Also, i can't forget Andre, the manager. He is awesome just like Steve is! I have had some problems that Andre helped with in a hurry! Didn't try to push me on someone else! I didn’t go through residential, but I want to say this clearly: if someone needs that level of care, or PHP, or IOP it is worth it. What I found at La Amistad is powerful enough that I would recommend the entire continuum without hesitation. When I first walked into IOP, I was carrying more than anyone could see. I had just lost my dad a wound that cut into every part of my identity. Grief wasn’t just sadness; it was confusion, loneliness, and feeling like the ground had disappeared under me. I didn’t know where to put those emotions. I didn’t know how to make sense of the memories, the guilt, or the silence that grief brings. Then I met Violeta, my therapist in IOP. She didn’t just help me understand my pain she helped me understand myself. She gave me the space and the tools to face what I had been avoiding for years. She helped me see where my survival patterns came from and how to replace them with healthier ones. That alone cracked something open in me. When I transitioned into the alumni group, everything changed again. I met Alyssa and Corey, and for the first time in a long time, I felt something I didn’t even realize I was missing: community. Real people who understood struggle. Real people who didn’t judge. Real people who showed up. The alumni group became the place where I learned to speak without filtering myself. Where I stopped pretending I was “fine.” Where I realized I wasn’t alone, and I didn’t have to carry everything by myself anymore. It helped me grieve with support instead of isolation. It helped me rebuild self-worth instead of self-blame. It helped me create a new identity rooted in healing, not in trauma. This community became my anchor. It gave me structure, purpose, accountability, and people who genuinely care. It helped me regain confidence, discipline, and the belief that I’m allowed to grow past what I’ve survived. Losing my dad broke me open, but being here helped me rebuild. And not as the old version of myself trying to “be strong,” but as someone who is finally grounded, supported, and choosing healing every day. I’m grateful for the therapists who guided me, the peers who walked alongside me, and the space that allowed me to feel safe enough to change. This experience didn’t just help me survive it gave me back the life I thought I had lost. Forever grateful.

This treatment center above all is absolutely amazing. If you need help with opioid addiction and have this rope hold you down this is where you need to be. The nurses,counseling staff all that work here and we can’t forget Miss Emma are all amazing. This facility is well run and have many different programs and except many different forms of insurance they will do whatever it takes to help. UPDATE—— So although I had a hiccup here, after speaking to the Director I honestly feel much better! I now find myself considering that my perception of someone’s attitude doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how they feel towards me. So I’m going to give that person the benefit of the doubt, because we all deserve second chances, and after speaking to the Director , I see that he is willing to talk about any issues that I, as a Patient, am having and strives to ensure that “we” (as Patients) can go to a safe and healthy treatment center where we feel accepted and cared for during our time here. The Counselors here are BOMB! Especially Mauricio and Peaches! Ms Emma is so sweet and from day one has always looked out for me. ALL of The Nurses are always polite and make it a pt to ask about how I and/or my family is doing! Thank you Director, for caring for me during this time and be willing to clear up any issues or misunderstandings that may be had. This place isn’t a generic methadone clinic, they actually care about there Patients!

I first started at a different clinic & can some one please tell me how a clinic with 8 different dosing windows & 8 nurses & it would literally take a min. Of 2 hours of standing in line to check in & then standing in another line to get dosed & my own counselor after 6 months there still couldn't remember my name, but yet I start coming here where there is only 2 windows & often only 1 window open cause there's only 1 nurse (the wonderful Mrs. Carolyn) & on average I am checked in, dosed, & out the door within 15 minutes & not only does the nurse remember my name, but so does my counselor & half the other counselor's there as well. I have never had a problem or issues with anyone here & really appreciate how much everyone here is so supportive & encouraging. Everytime I come in at least one or more employees make sure they tell me how good I look or how proud they are of me for turning my life around & that really means a lot to me & helps keep me motivated to keep doing good & I can honestly say that I would not be here clean, working, & with my kids & family again without this place & the amazingly supportive & caring staff. I really can't say enough great things about everyone there. I truly appreciate you all & can't thank you enough for helping me turn my life around. It feels really good to be clean & not homeless anymore. Again Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll see you guys Thursday morning! #12056 ** update 3/13/26 I have recently stopped going to the clinic & as happy as I am to finally be off the methadone, I am gonna miss the employees here. Maurico is hands down the best counselor I could have ever hoped to have help me on my road to recovery & the nurses that took care of me there were always so friendly & NEVER made me feel judged or like I was just some junkie looking for a fix & Mrs Emma has always been so sweet & kind & has helped me tremendously! This place has saved my life. As an addict they have taught me how to avoid relapse and how to deal with stress and life situations that caused my addiction to begin. The staff is great and gives one on one attention to meet the clients needs. Brother Floyd Jones, Matt Staten, are basically on campus 24 hrs a day and readily available to help as needed. The after care provided when finishing the program over seen by brother Mike Moody helped with my exit back into society. Pastor Tim has been a great role model in my sobriety and taught me how to walk out my recovery in the path of God. All in all I consider this place my home and a great place not only to get my life together but how to become a man of God and live my life with integrity.

From the very beginning, they treated my daughter as if she were their own, walking alongside her through every stage of her recovery journey. Tristin and Kathleen, in particular, went above and beyond, providing not just expert care but genuine empathy, making my daughter feel understood and supported in every step. The admissions department also deserves special recognition for their dedication in ensuring my daughter received the help she desperately needed. Their commitment didn’t stop at intake—they continue to check on her progress, even after treatment, showing that their care extends far beyond the walls of the facility. As an overly involved parent, I needed constant communication, and the team was always on top of it. Whether it was updates, reassurance, or addressing concerns, I always felt informed and involved in my daughter's recovery. I've been at Center for Discovery in Maitland since I left residential at Monteverde and it has been a wonderful experience overall. I've received so much support from all of the therapists, dietitians, diet techs, etc. They take time out of their day to talk to you if you're struggling and the care is really personalized, they take a lot of time getting to know you even if you aren't their primary client. The staff has gone above and beyond to give me and my peers so much support.

I went in for involuntary detox. Since my experience at Orlando health was so bad, I think this place did a pretty alright job. Their staff is really nice and caring. They seem to try to do what is best for their patients.
