Hello my name is Adam. I came to Reign about a month ago. I came from NJ and enrolled to the treatment center because I was struggling with some mental health symptoms that were unmanageable with life and needed assistance with getting myself back on track. The admissions team was so helpful and supportive, they were there when I was making my 22 hour drive. Jake, Benzi, Justin, and Morgan were so supportive on my drive. When I arrived at the facility and during the duration of my stay Corey the primary therapist was very friendly and welcoming. He wasn t like normal therapists where you would have your 30 min session and you re out but he gave me as much time as I needed and let me use my phone and make calls as much as I wanted to do. Then there was Brantley the operations manager and he Was just the absolute best. I developed a great friendship with him and every night we had a thing where we watch movies together. Gina was a great group facilitator and had very informative groups. Overall I had an amazing life changing experience,

2023 is gone! And now I can go into 2024 with a new attitude and a new life mostly thankful for Perspectives 2. I made some dumb decisions last year that I ended up paying the price for. I consider myself smart and well educated but when alcohol does your thinking its a games changer. I ended up in jail with a DUI and court ordered treatment. The blessing in disguise was the court ordered treatement. I went 12 weeks to group thearpy at Perspectives. I was reluctant and not excited about going until I got there. All of us were in the same boat....nervous, shamed, scared about facing the consequences of our poor decisions. Perspectives group sessions were awesome and extremely helpful. They gave you practical suggestions to help with your addictions and how to deal with the pain you caused others and yourself. The staff that ran these sessions were incredible mainly because they truly cared! It was not a job to them but they had compassion for what your were going through in fact most of them faced similiar situations. I "had" to go to these treatments but would easily have volunterred to go after seeing what they had to offer. Great discussions with a staff that emplified compassion to every one in the class. When you know you messed up and are already down on yourself it is comforting to know folks at Perspectives 2 was there to listen, suggest and most of all show they really cared about your well being and getting you on the right track. They continue to follow up with me a year later! Jamie is awesome in her care and concern....Kudos to her and her staff. Thank you Perspectives 2 for showing honest concern and compassion!

Specialty rehab programs a | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Groups has been amazing! When I was in a tough spot with no childcare nor transportation & I found myself out of my prescription I searched around for telemedicine options & found Groups recover together. I decided to give them a call to explain my situation & they were a life saver where I happened to get into the program the very same day. In the beginning I was a little nervous of the weekly group meetings as I have anxiety being around others, especially with strangers while sharing about personal experiences that are not my proudest moments. I quickly overcame that & enjoy everyone. I consider many of them friends I can talk to when I need a listening ear. They have an app that I ve never had any problems with, you will use this to update your care plan, submit drug test, & will join your meetings through if you choose the telemedicine option. Once in the program for a while, you meet with your counselor, office manager, & the other members in your area weekly; then a physician monthly where they will then send your medication to the pharmacy. If you have any problems you will have their numbers to reach out to, also a hotline you can call after office hours for anything from support/prescription issues/if you need to see the DR sooner/want to attend an extra meeting/reschedule if something comes up in your usual week etc. They are here to help you, not judge/punish you if you have a slip up during your recovery. Just make sure to be honest with them. Everything is confidential; A quote we say is what happens in Groups, stays in group (like in Vegas :D). You can be yourself & not feel judged as none of us are perfect but we re all doing the work to become better. If you re thinking about it & struggle with opiate dependence, CHOOSE GROUPS! I continue to recommended to any family &/or friends that need the help. I am truly thankful for this program, the ones who work for groups, as well as the participants that keep the program going. So many of us rely on what Groups offer & I pray the telehealth option in our state continues as I wouldn t be able to be here without it. I went in voluntarily and was taken care of. The nurses are very helpful and I was even given a shave. The food is fantastic and I met a lot of interesting people. A tech suggested that I write a book called "the no name book" regarding my visits to mental hospitals. So you get smoke breaks and you can also visit the recreational room. I was able to decompress and reset my mental clock. The facility is very clean and I saw a pest control guy spraying the area so there is no need to worry about that. I've had all good experiences so far. My therapist is nice, I like the psych Dr a lot. It is hard to get an appt sometimes but they're booked because a lot of people need therapy. Honestly I think it's important to remember therapists and staff are also people. Therapists call out when they have bad days and it's inconvenient but they probably have mental health problems because they listen to all your problems all day. So when they aren't there it's probably needed for them to take a break.

They specialize in res | Treatments Programs Payment Options | From the moment I was introduced to The Refuge, I knew something powerful was about to unfold. What followed was nothing short of transformative.
I expanded my capacity to live life on life’s terms, no longer needing to cope with life, but learning how to live it fully. I discovered that boundaries aren’t just something we set with others, but something we honor within ourselves—especially when the outside world may not. I learned to accept myself not just as I was, but as I am, while creating a vision for who I want to become.
Acceptance isn’t about staying stuck or glorifying the past. It’s about understanding it—recognizing patterns, asking what they reveal, and deciding what to do with that insight. My path has not been linear. Allowing myself the time to simply be, and to be guided by professionals, was—at once—fear-inducing, frustrating, ego-challenging, and ultimately liberating.
Many treatment centers speak of recovery “tools,” but few prepare you to actually use them. The Refuge not only introduces you to these tools, but helps you uncover the motivation and build the inner drive to keep going when it’s hard.
Shelly, the Clinical Program Manager; Jessica Gomes, my therapist; Matthew Brinker, therapist; Alex Van Dyke, therapist; and Yogi Ana—all played pivotal roles in my healing. They gently (and sometimes not so gently) pushed me into the uncomfortable places where real growth happens. Just when I thought I was in over my head, they’d ask me to stand—and I’d realize the water was only waist-deep. With their support, I built resilience.
To them, I extend my deepest gratitude.
And to the community I shared space, time, and the most sacred parts of myself with—my hopes, my fears, and my love—thank you. You are forever part of my healing.
To anyone considering this journey: It may not be easy, but you will not be alone—and it will be worth it

I was hesitant when my psychiatrist HIGHLY recommended I come to The Refuge. I was at wits end - my depression and anxiety were killing me slowly. I have Complex-PTSD that desperately needed the specialized treatment that The Refuge was able to provide. Don't get me wrong - it's a LOT of work. It's go go go! But the staff GENUINELY cares, from medical (shout out to Nancy and Jessica), therapists (shout out to Nicole, Randy, and Brianna), BHAs (Kim and K), and even food (Justin). They want you to feel better and succeed. You have group therapy sessions that are informative, you have assignments and processing groups, oh, and don't forget Kelly in art therapy! I ended up extending my stay from 30 days to 45 because I needed to, to truly get the most out of it. It sounds cheesy, but I can honestly say that I think they may have saved my life. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I went to Mending Fences to get help with my debilitating anxiety. From the time I arrived at the facility I was met with friendly and compassionate staff. The admission process was very professional, very timely and the staff made me feel safe.Concerning the program, Mending Fences focused on a personal track of a healing process designed specifically for me. I was assigned a Therapist (shout-out to Jeremy) who patiently worked with me to guide me through the healing process. Every therapists that led groups were dedicated to making learning different modalities wether - CBT, ART, OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES, EXERCISE AND MUSIC - Fun and engaging! From playing volleyball, shooting basketball hoops, bon fires and even an open mic night!Unfortunately, due to a health issue I had to leave the program - this was very disheartening for me - but the Psychiatrist , therapists and staff made the exiting process a great experience for me! Just to mention, these people try to accommodate me so that I could continue the program - it amazed me how much effort they put in - thanks One last thing the facility and the grounds were beautiful! One last thank you to all the staff, techs , therapists and Doctors who helped me Rex

I ve gone through four doctors at this clinic as they ve retired and moved on. Dr. Cheryl Smith Is my latest and one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. I ve had some good physicians and some not so good physicians, Dr. Smith excels and I am so happy and confident in her care.

Optical Department... ive been to the department many times. Ive observed Gary's attitude with other veterans in the past and recently personally. He needs an attitude adjustment!!! Not friendly or professional. Needs training. Poor attitude. Grumpy. The other tech in the office, Stacey is amazing!!! Her customer service, professionalism, friendly, is amazing! Should be considered the VA standard. Gary doesn't make you feel welcomed, Stacey does!!!
