Staff is excellent and the doctors actually take the time to sit with patients to properly diagnose them in order to help. Nurses are caring and attentive. The techs definitely need raises because of the situations that they deal with professionally and effectively. Beds are not comfortable and individual therapy or counseling sessions would be very helpful for those that would like them.

This facility is incredible. The staff is my favorite part. From Ryan and Mark in admissions, Angel, Jason and Shannon directors on site, my case manager Amanda, and therapist Joel. All incredibly supportive and understand addiction and recovery. The support staff is highly professional as well. Medical staff was very knowledgable. Detox was smooth. The gym and pool are amazing amenities as well as volleyball and other activities. Thank you WhiteSands!

Heather the counselors and the doctor run a wonderful facility here. They offer freedom from active addiction a promise of renewed hope and a purposeful driven life free from addiction. My stay here a year ago also provided me the opportunity to live in their sober living home. The art, equine, yoga and reki thrapy sessions are incredible. I really liked the bio bed as well as my free time on the patio. 7 Summit Pathways reintroduced me to mindful meditation, grounding techniques and journaling. My counselor Doug was very encouraging. I was able to get a job near to their sober living house in Valrico and protect my anonymity. They had a nice dinner for the holidays and other clients families would join us. The van was always a safe drive and i always felt reassured and comfortable. They offer a native American Wellbriety meeting on Wednesday at 7pm i look forward to returning to again soon. Alot of these examples have helped me as i was able to keep my sponsor and take steps in the 12 step Narcotics Anonymous program. 7 Summit Pathways helped me keep living a productive good and healthy life. I just wanted to say how incredibly helpful and amazing Heather was tonight during a crisis. I reached out at midnight about a family member and was blown away by her kindness, willingness to talk/help, etc. I have worked in the substance abuse field for over 15 years and been a patient as well. I know that parts of the system can be broken at times. Heather went above and beyond what I have ever seen anyone do. She really cares and is a true angel.

Where to even start - I’m so grateful and honored - After completing a 10-day inpatient rehab for alcohol, I entered Sophros Recovery’s IOP and OP programs — and I can honestly say it completely turned my life around. I came into the program with a heavy heart, still grieving the losses of my father and younger brother, and burdened by years of personal struggles and past relationship hardships. But Sophros gave me something I hadn’t felt in a long time: hope, direction, and a true sense of belonging.

I've been through 7 or 8 treatment facilities and successfully completed two prior PHP programs. This program has given me the most individual attention, comfortability and feelings towards being cared for properly. I feel so blessed that I chose Spring Gardens Recovery. I had no prior knowledge of where to go, and as my first rehab experience I was honestly terrified. From the very first call, the admissions staff were kind and patient, answering every question and making me feel comfortable and welcome.
From the moment I arrived, the entire team went above and beyond. The staff truly feel like family—they know your name, care about your story, and give you personal attention every step of the way. The setting is close-knit and never overcrowded, so I never once felt like just a number or a statistic. Instead, it felt like home.
In my 30 days there I learned and grew more than I ever thought possible. I did intensive outpatient with Riverside in the summer of 2024. It was wonderful! The group therapy sessions were aimed at us patients helping one another get through recovery and life as newly sober people. The one on one sessions focused on my personal issues and struggles with recovery. They also do family sessions which help the entire family navigate this new life. My aunt has been a patient here for almost 2 weeks. She has been provided excellent care here by the entire clinical, rehab and administrative team. The nurses and CNA's have provided the care and compassion well above our familiy's expectation. We are shocked at how much she has thrived at this facility. Laura, my therapist was awesome. She was very patient with me, I asked so many questions. She helped me to understand my problems and gave me tools for the future. She prepared me for a successful recovery. I've never tried yoga before but I took those classes and I learned how to stretch. I have a handicap with my hip and it really helped me with my pain and flexibility. I highly recommend coalition.

I recently successfully completed treatment at White Sands Treatment Center in Plant City, FL and have a strong desire to share my very positive experience with anyone contemplating getting help. I highly recommend White Sands to anyone looking for the perfect place to reset their lives due to alcoholism and/or drug addiction.
The therapists and facilitators are exceptional as is the educational curriculum. That's only a part of the entire program which combines therapy, in-depth group education and therapy, holistic approaches to healing, a boxing gym with weight training, very comfortable and clean patient rooms, an exceptional staff from management, therapists, behavioral health technicians, housekeeping, culinary staff directed by a highly experienced nutritionist, exceptional medical and nursing personnel, all the way to the smoothie makers in the cafe.
I cannot express in words how grateful I am to every single staff member I came in contact with. Every single person employed by White Sands is compassionate, caring, professional, and have been extensively vetted for their own experience, demeanor, compassion, and dedication to their respective fields. Honestly, I was blown away and they will all hold their special places in my heart for their sincere and honest commitment to assuring me that I was in the safest place on earth to re-commit my recovery after a horrible relapse due to a highly addictive prescription medication.
If you are seeking help of your own, please don't hesitate to give them a call. You will be so grateful you did. They have restored my faith in humanity and I feel like a spiritual and productive human being again. Not the guy that was full of shame and demoralization.
There are only five stars available to give white Sands, but frankly, I give them ten stars! God, please bless everyone at White Sands Treatment Center in Plant City. I love every single one of you... including many patients and the lifelong friends I've made while a patient. I’ve been to a decent amount of treatment programs and this one honestly saved my life! The staff genuinely cares and the groups teach extremely valuable life skills. I remember when I first got to detox and was extremely sick, they would make sure I ate and bring me food straight to my bed. Ad the food is amazing too. They have a coffee and smoothie station and the lady who runs that is the absolute sweetest. Deb was my therapist and really.helped me out with a lot I had going on. I’ve been sober 16 months, which is the longest I’ve ever had and can’t see myself ever going back. I recommend this place to everyone looking to get serious help and turn their life around. This place really helps a lot if you just stick with it and want it for yourself everyone is super nice and compassionate and super helpful, and they are just there that do their job and they're all professionals, and they do very well at the job and they're very kind and they just want to see people do better, that struggle with addiction, but you also have to want it for yourself. The program works. It's definitely a great program. I definitely recommend it if you're struggling with an addiction. It helped me and I helped other people I know friends and family i rate it a 5 star and the staff you guys are awesome work very hard.

Started when I found out I was pregnant. I listened to my counselor and The Pediatrician they had offering classes advice and my baby girl was born full term average weight (7.4) and zero.... im talking not even 1 tremor or score over 4 withdrawal symptoms. I was hesitant going into this procedure as I had never been out under anesthesia. However before and after the procedure the nurses were very kind, reassuring, and knowledgeable. You could tell they really care about their patients and are very patient with them and care about their comfort. The procedure definitely works and basically cuts out the worst 5 days of withdrawal. I would pick this over going to a 5-7 day detox, a day or two after this procedure you basically feel mostly normal, and I was using a large amount and had a hard time reducing use enough before the procedure. If your not using huge amounts, or able to cut down a good amount before the procedure or just using prescription opiates which have no secondary substances in them I’d assume you'd feel basically back to your normal self after a day because I felt 90% normal and had none of that going for me. You can’t expect this to be a magical solution and have no cravings or anything like that after though, its still a mental battle after and you have to work at it by going to meetings and/or working with a therapist after but it does definitely allow you to skip the worst of the physical withdrawals. Overall it was great and id highly recommend this to anyone who has struggled to get off opiates by themselves as it truly gives you a fair shot at getting and staying off opiates and is near painless versus a cold detox.

If you ever are ready to get off the drugs you are on, this is the place that will help you get it done. They truly do care and are really trying to help you. Best thing that has happened to me in about 10 years. If you're really ready to get help this is the place to get it. But only if you're ready. Don't waste their time or money. Because if you're not ready I'm sure there's someone else out there who is. So don't take that spot up if you're not serious and ready. Because someone else needs it.

I did intensive outpatient with Riverside in the summer of 2024. It was wonderful! The group therapy sessions were aimed at us patients helping one another get through recovery and life as newly sober people. The one on one sessions focused on my personal issues and struggles with recovery. They also do family sessions which help the entire family navigate this new life. Both patients I bring express that they’ve connected well with their therapist and Dr. They are benefiting from services, which are offered on a sliding scale for those without insurance. Typically calling into schedule with the VA will leave me on the phone for hours being transferred around in circles, all the while being spoken to as if you're a lesser human for your service, or they treat you as if your inconveniencing them.
However, today was different, today I called into the NPR VA and spoke with someone who cares. Karen Thieme is everything the VA should want in an employee, someone representing them and servicing their veterans with a passion to listen, understand, and to provide benefits for. Karen has given me new hope and some more "change in my pocket" when it comes to dealing with the VA now. Thank you Karen for such a simple and yet meaningful phone call, all just to schedule my appointments.
I'll be looking forward to my first visit at NPR with my new doctor and team, if it's anything like my first phone call interaction with Karen, I know I'll be taken care of.
