Hello my name is Adam. I came to Reign about a month ago. I came from NJ and enrolled to the treatment center because I was struggling with some mental health symptoms that were unmanageable with life and needed assistance with getting myself back on track. The admissions team was so helpful and supportive, they were there when I was making my 22 hour drive. Jake, Benzi, Justin, and Morgan were so supportive on my drive. When I arrived at the facility and during the duration of my stay Corey the primary therapist was very friendly and welcoming. He wasn t like normal therapists where you would have your 30 min session and you re out but he gave me as much time as I needed and let me use my phone and make calls as much as I wanted to do. Then there was Brantley the operations manager and he Was just the absolute best. I developed a great friendship with him and every night we had a thing where we watch movies together. Gina was a great group facilitator and had very informative groups. Overall I had an amazing life changing experience,

| Lutz, Florida is home to the Morton Plant North Bay Recovery Center. This is a recovery center located inside the North Bay Hospital, a medical facility that sits in the northern outskirts of Tampa. If you are struggling with your mental health, are in need of crisis support, or require detox services and other immediate support for a substance use | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I do not have many bad things to say about this place. Yes, it is an old building, but the staff and process were not a problem for me.
I was there for 15 days and the last 7 were voluntary.
Yes, the towels are small and the toiletries are basic, but the staff while I was there left the towels out so you could grab as many as you needed (def need at least 2). The snacks were plentiful and of a good variety. The staff were very friendly and caring and felt like they really cared about you getting better.
They also allowed for outside time on the patio or out in the courtyard. We had outside time almost daily, if not daily. The weather was just beautiful each day and a much needed warm up bc they do keep it cold (bring a jacket/sweater if u can). The staff also let you freely go to your room if you were cold, which I've been at a different facility where they did not allow you in your rooms during the day.
They offered music therapy while outside, groups during the week which included a guided medication, a session with the Chaplin and their in-house massage therapist who led us in some light stretching one day on the patio. We also had gym time almost daily where you can play basketball, volleyball, access to yoga mats, and more music.
The most valuable thing for me was them letting us have access to our rooms any time of the day bc I was very cold much of the time and did not have a sweater and the sitting room does stay cold. Also, especially if someone is extra groggy bc of meds, they dont force you to sit thru it in the sitting area like other facilities. This was so valuable to me who is someone who is sensitive to meds and Not a morning person. They also do rounds to every room about every 10 min to keep close watch over the patients, which undoubtedly saves lives.
And they have plenty of everything so do not feel shy about asking for extra. Just "ask and ye shall receive". And I did not get the religious pressure like another review reported.
Going to the cafeteria was the highlight of the day. I thought the food was good and for being there 15 days, they never duplicated a lunch or dinner meal. The variety was amazing. But they do keep it healthy, and rightfully so. So low sodium, low fat, low calorie. No weight gained, no weight lost. Coffee is also available every morning and in the cafeteria at breakfast, which was also a plus.
It is an older facility and the beds are not great, but you can ask for an extra pillow or blanket and they have cleaning staff come thru daily to keep things clean and there were no bugs. I saw them pressure washing the outside areas twice while I was there.
The last thing I will say that was a con was the nurse that dresses in all white. She does not seem to be very useful for anything other than trying to hinder your progress so stear clear of her if you can.
Otherwise, I would recommend this location just as well as any other, if not more so. I gave it 4 stars only bc of the age of the facility (which honestly cant be helped) and the less than stellar toiletries/showering experience (the shower curtain is affixed with velcro so it does come loose easily and water will flood the floor outside, the small towels, and sometimes the hot water will run low and may have only a warm shower).
I am very thankful for the staff here. Thank you to those who go above and beyond, I hope you know who you are.

Miss Rose Sweeny is really fantastic. It’s so nice to have a therapist that I feel such a strong connection with, where I can bring everything I’m feeling to the table. She has a very kind and understanding soul. I don’t know what I would do if my insurance didn’t hypothetically cover our visits, I would figure it out and make it work because that’s how great she is.
The women at the front are really understanding too, I will occasionally run into an issue with billing but they always listen to me and correct it.
Miss Rose is also not a therapist who will respond immediately with generic therapy talk (I’ve been to a few therapists and I’ve experienced this) but she will take a moment to think about what you’ve said and how it connects back to your struggles.
That type of care and attention means so much to me. She is like the therapy version of Sherlock Holmes, and I would really trust her with anything.
Highly recommend

I have only visited the Dental Clinic here and they are great. I became a patient of this clinic two or three years ago and they have always provided me and EXCELLENT and RESPECTFUL service in a timely manner. Specially since they are understaffed and overworked, which happens to be very common at a VA medical facility.
I assume now the understaffing will only get worst since the blanket firing off all recently hired VA employees and the cuts to the VA funds. My doctors are also look like they probably will get flagged to be fired under the diversity purge, although they are exceptionally good at their job.

I am very grateful stay at windmoor, from the moment I arrived the remarkable staff went to work making me feel welcome,I was very disoriented and angry when arrived not knowing what to expect, even while having a tantrum the staff was very patient with me. After arriving on the crisis unit the nurse on duty took time to sit and talk with me (Christina) and assure things would work out, after discovering I was a veteran she immediately went to work trying to get me to the veterans unit,Caleb the military liaison came with an hour to talk with me and a few hours later I was moved to the military unit and again the remarkable nursing made me feel welcome to the veterans unit, the doctors were very knowledgeable and took as much time as I needed to talk with them . The Cafe windmoor is top shelf, very professional staff, during my stay I gained 15 pounds, the veterans counselor Ms. Carolyn is top knotch, the treatment is intense and effective,I highly recommend windmoor to active duty and veterans in search of remarkable care.

First things first, I was with the military/veterans wing during my time at Windmoor, so I cannot speak on the civilian side of things. That said, coming here was exactly what I needed to kick my life back into gear. The treatment I received here helped immensely, and not only were the staff amazing for the most part, I also made lifelong friends in some of my fellow patients. It was life changing to say the least, and the 28-day program they offer for military members is fantastic, but you have to work for your progress. This isn’t something you can just sit through and come out better, you have to be 100% open and honest with yourself, but also those around you. I would not be where I am today without the friends I made here.

We talked once a week for months about everything from my relationship with my parents to romantic relationships and she really helped me heal my inner child. I looked at this time with her as an investment in myself and being able to break my families generational cycles of behavior for my future kids. She was always sweet, respectful, on time, and on point with what she told me. I did every homework assignment she gave me starting with a dream board and within 24 months it all came true. I reached out to the crisis center (211) one day when I realized I had been consistently, emotionally and mentally overwhelmed, physically sick, and felt powerless to change anything for too long. I was up against too many life changing personal and professional challenges at the same time. One of the referral resources provided was The Centre for Women. Stephanie has been my therapist since September 2019. Prior, to COVID, when meetings were held in the office, Stephanie consistently provided a safe, comfortable atmosphere that encouraged vulnerability. Since March 2020, our meetings have been held by phone (which she helped easily transition to). Stephanie is a skilled and compassionate listener. Her responses to my concerns are considerate & thought provoking. She offers valuable coping strategies and grounding techniques for the deeply feeling and/ or anxious soul. She has taken the time to understand my values, language, and perspective and considers them when sharing feedback and resources. Stephanie has consistently encouraged and gently guided me to fully realize, embrace, and practice my personal values in my decision making more consistently. In September 2019, I entered Stephanie's care as a scared, overwhelmed, hurt, and broken down individual. Since that time, she continues to empower and equip me to recognize and exercise the practical habits behind my spiritual truths; she also remains a soft space to land when I return to old ways or self- sabotaging habits. I appreciate the ways she supports my mental and emotional well being. She is skilled at reaching the root or heart of the issue, not simply just addressing the symptoms. She may not be able to provide the solution, but she definitely provides a sense of peace in the midst of often difficult processes/ circumstances faced. I would highly recommend therapy with Stephanie at the Centre for Women.
I believe it's also important to state that, while I am a minority woman and Stephanie does not share that personal experience, she remained a solid place to share even the anxieties and concerns she could not personally relate to through the many different challenging situations my family faced in recent months.
I am so grateful for the growth I am experiencing with consistent therapy!

Tools for Sobriety are taught and expected to be used. This Program taught me accountability and self reliance in my Sobriety. Those that seek sobriety with Selflessness here will achieve a Level of Success that they may have never dreamed of. At least I have! As a former Garbage Head I knew the Staff from Ms.T all the way through to Halle and Phil to Scott and Randi but also Jon and his Family. They have their own stories and experiences having successful for and in sobriety. But most importantly on how to pick yourself up from falling away. Thank You Everyone for Delivering the tools I forgot I had and giving me the nudge to Self Confidence in Self Reliance. Learned how to care to pick them up
Truly Grateful for experiencing this program and the Love and Considerations shown for everyone's Sobriety here. It only works if you work it!
