I recently saw Dr. Oliva and her staff and I've seen a lot of Doctors over the years but very few have been as awesome as this. Virgina, the Doctors Program Director has been extremely helpful with many diffrent obsticals and she has gone above and beyond to help with everything. She even helped me out during Thanksgiving while she was with her family on the road. Dr. Oliva has been extremly helpful and isn't just there to call the shots but she listens and wants to hear you out and make sure you're happy with you're quality of care. I have nothing but respect and good things to say about Perspectives and staff. My situation was a little diffrent than most but regardless these people care about you!

Perspectives has vrrn as life changer.. i had to go into it with an open mind yea it's part of my probation obligation but once I got passed that part and remained open minded and willing to accept all the things perspectives has too offer; I've grown and life actually began to change as so did my own perspectives 😁

I wish I could give this more than five stars. I arrived at mending fences being open-minded. I had no idea the impact this would have on my life in such a positive way. I came to this looking for help for alcohol and found I really needed the help with mental health care. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the surroundings are so Serene and peaceful. There are no amount of words I could give for the gratitude I have for what this place is giving me back to me in my life. I am truly grateful. To me there is no amount of money that could ever give me what I retained here at mending fences. This place has been absolutely PRICELESS! I highly recommend if there's anyone that needs help, a loved one or friend this would be the place for their healing journey. I finally feel I have my life back.

I went to Mending Fences to get help with my debilitating anxiety. From the time I arrived at the facility I was met with friendly and compassionate staff. The admission process was very professional, very timely and the staff made me feel safe.
Concerning the program, Mending Fences focused on a personal track of a healing process designed specifically for me. I was assigned a Therapist (shout-out to Jeremy) who patiently worked with me to guide me through the healing process. Every therapists that led groups were dedicated to making learning different modalities wether - CBT, ART, OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES, EXERCISE AND MUSIC - Fun and engaging!
From playing volleyball, shooting basketball hoops, bon fires and even an open mic night!
Unfortunately, due to a health issue I had to leave the program - this was very disheartening for me - but the Psychiatrist , therapists and staff made the exiting process a great experience for me! Just to mention, these people try to accommodate me so that I could continue the program - it amazed me how much effort they put in - thanks 🙏
One last thing the facility and the grounds were beautiful! One last thank you to all the staff, techs , therapists and Doctors who helped me 🙏🙏

Go to new season and I know it'll be the best thing you ever did they just continue to get better the new stuff is awesome The new coordinator He's on top of everything and my new counselor Melanie she just rocks it I don't know how I don't know how she has so much care for her patients and will work so hard for them and I like my last counselor but I've not seen this kind of devotion in a counselor besides Julio which I've discovered to be tremendously a helpful person in my life his groups just make you be able to get through the week and there's more than one reason to go to groups you know but the reason mainly is to stay clean and get clean and I called it a life changer now it's a game changer because it's completely changed the way I play my game and I get scared of change of new stuff but new seasons they've got it covered because they hire good people so no matter who you get you're in good hands. I urge people who are trying to decide to go or not and have that scale tipping just tip it on in all you got to do is just take that baby step and then the next baby step after that and then it won't be so hard I just don't want to hear any more about these deaths or families lives being ruined it's it's sad and it took me a long time to see it from the other side it's new season who got me to the other side Melanie she rocks it and Mr Tim he seems very on top of it very professional like I said I just do put this on here because I hope if anybody's facing their recovery on the reviews do it you know do it for you and do it at new season even if you don't get Melanie all the other counselors are good Julio I know he's an excellent counselor I know all of the counselors are great people

I don't know why people go to places like this when you can go to Dr bellum in dunnellon Florida and get a script of Suboxone total pay maybe $250 for the month for 30 pills that you can literally take a quarter a day so one month last 4 months I heard it's like 20 a day for methadone that doesn't even last 24 hours and you're not getting drug tested every damn day and you're not being treated like a junky

i can't thank this place enough, they helped my achieve my goal. They are a true Miracle and some people blame them because they can't get it. If you want it they have it, but you have to open yourself up tp chance, as Change is Growth.
I have been going to the vascular clinic due to chronic venous inefficiency. Yesterday, October 29th 2025, I had surgery to remove a "very bad" vein in my lower right leg. Even though there was a long delay because a pipe had broken in the basement causing electrical issues, everything went exceptionally well. I was treated with kindness and respect the entire time. The nursing staff were all amazing. I can't say enough good things about the anesthesiologist and his assistant. I just wish I could recall their names. They were so good to me and they explained everything they were going to do in great detail. They treated me with great respect. And finally, my surgeon, Dr. Scott Berceli. I could not have possibly been in better hands. He explained the entire procedure and met with my wife while I was in recovery. He explained everything to her as well, including what to do and not do during my recovery period. He is absolutely fantastic. I can not give the entire staff enough praise. From start to finish, it was awesome!

Experienced nurses and doctors, the staff is very helpful. Clean on the inside and out….even amongst construction pathways. Parking can be hectic, valet is nice. I live in Jacksonville and I will drive the hour and a half drive just to come here for care… it. It’s worth the drive. Thank you for serving us.

I can't recommend FRC enough. This organization has truly been a life-changer and life-saver for me.
My journey with FRC began in 2007 when I was a patient receiving care. I was at the lowest point in my life after years of substance use and a near fatal suicide attempt. Under the care of Dr. Teitelbaum, The support I found there was instrumental in introducing me to recovery, and I am incredibly grateful for the nearly 18 years of sobriety I have today because of that start.
To come full circle and later spend over 12 years working on the incredible FRC Team has given me a unique perspective. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to witness firsthand the profound, life-changing work that happens there every single day. My appreciation for FRC, its mission, and its dedicated staff is immense. Unfortunately, I am starting a new job in another city to be closer to my family, but I will always carry FRC with me.

I came to the Florida Recovery Center a broken man, suicidal, no self-confidence, and a great lack of a sense of purpose and worth. Through intensive individual therapy, group therapy, recreation therapy, in-depth 12 Step assignments and application, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), a multitude of informative and illuminating lectures (medical, recreational, spiritual, relational), and a greatly supportive community of people all working on the same goal of sobriety and sanity, I have been able to begin my life anew.
I am now 90 days sober for the first time in 30 years thanks to FRC (Florida Recovery Center)!!!! I would not be alive to write this review had they not believed in me and, likewise, I had not believed and trusted the process.
YOU must surrender to the process, be vulnerable, and be willing to choose LIFE for yourself - a good life without dragging around the heavy burdens of guilt, shame, and regret.....BUT YOU have to be honest with yourself and them or it probably won't work.
IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT SO WORK IT YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!!

I have been going to the Lecanto VA clinic for many years. I believe I have interacted with
every front desk person there , Denise,Kandi, Cheryl, Patti, Tania Dena and Suzanne. Sorry if I left anybody out. They have all been friendly, funny and helpful. I have seen them remain respectful in less than desirable encounters. It is usually the unhappy who post the reviews but I think they should be commended for the work they do for us.

I graduated the phoenix house in 2019. The program doesn't focus on Just addictions, but the behavior behind addictions. Unfortunately, most of the people that I went with did not make it because they did not want it bad enough. But out of multiple programs that i've been to, this one will have an everlasting impact on me And my life. I sincerely thank the staff for giving me the best fifteen months.I've ever had. I've been sober now for almost seven years.

The Phoenix House has help me transform my life and get back on the correct path the staff and counselors here have been nothing but amazing granted there are a lot of people that come through this place only looking for reprieve from jail or prison but I can honestly say those of us that come here actually looking for a change looking to be better have every opportunity to do so
Since joining groups my life has completely changed the counselor's and group members are very supportive.
I never have any issues getting my meds,
and there's rewards for attendance in group.
My insurance covers all expenses and prescriptions. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with addiction or any other life issues.

They have always done a great job with anything related to my care. Dr. Thompson is a very caring and attentive doctor.
As soon as I calm down & get hydrated, and comfy and clean in my bed, my experiences at Uf Health Shands Vista have become quite pleasant; as long as I can find people who can understand, trust, and believe me. Multiple trips outside and keeping a healthy diet ; looking forward to the meal, shower, and sleep times ; listening to music, staying busy with writing & drawing, attending every group, and sharing my experiences with people who understand is very beneficial for my mental health. I am a longtime Uf Health & Shands patient, as I am a native Gainesville, Floridian. First, I would just like to mention in the mental health department… some employees, can or will not show empathy , which can make the experience quite disheartening & difficult to find happiness or make healthy progress.Miss ‘Lauren Hertell’ was rude to my mother and I when she visited me . She said loudly and I quote “You’re on your own mama” . And laughed. I was also verbally & physically threatened by a very tall, large fellow who almost reached the ceiling in stance. they didn’t remove him until the next night. I could hardly sleep. There was also a tech who wore a bun that would smirk & laugh at me before she went home for the night. I was put on phone restriction for days for accidentally dialing 911. We had to dial 9-1 before calls and unfortunately, I never received any notifications about any calls, which would have made my day. Now, all the honorable mentions: Huge shoutout to Miss Laura who hunted down an important phone number for me. Hi, Barbie! (Barbara), Britney, Mr ‘Joe’ , Miss Karen, Gabriel, Ben, Laura, Danny, Dorian (Grey) , Tre, Miss Vilma, Miss Mia, Jacqueline, etc.. everybody. Also my sweet nurse who went and found me contact solution when I needed it.Thank you guys; from the techs, housekeepers, doctors, RN’s, and of course Dr Moore and Dr Solomon… By the end of my stay, I can healthily & properfly communicate with the staff and they show me kindness & respect back. It’s just a lonely place if you are alone or don’t have familial support. Thank you all and with all due respect, I hope to never HAVE to see you again.

First the positives: Most of the nurses are incredibly nice, caring and accommodating to requests. My therapist Laura, and the weekday Psychiatrists were great! Unlike other reviews, I had multiple people review my concerns about medication and I had many people discuss the options with me and the concerns that I had. Particularly related to the potential long-term brain effects that I had heard research about increasing your risk of Alzheimer's. Ultimately, the decision was to start with a very low dose, which I was welcome to try and discontinued if I had any unpleasant side effects. It was very much a collaborative, non pressured approach to medication. We had two wireless phones available for 7 am to 10 pm and could provide a list of approved callers. In fact, (I witnessed) if you did not have someone on your list, they would not confirm or deny that you were there, but they would make note of that person's call, share that they had called, and would ask the patient if they were interested in adding that person to their list. They, had some games, puzzles. The negatives, and how they were managed: The intake process was very long, I get the impression it's very difficult for them to determine when the "busy time" for intake will be. Your introduction to your "pod" for a lack of a better term, (definitely has prison vibes) was horrible. Getting a "skin check" which was just short of a strip search was logical, but not comfortable. The fact that it was co-ed was immediately off-putting to me, I didn't know the schedule,
and I didn't Initially feel safe. A nurse should have come to explain the schedule or provided a welcome pamphlet explaining things. The would have been very helpful. I did have a psychology fellow come speak with me which helped put me at ease. I did not get one second of sleep the first night. The prison type bed was extremely uncomfortable. I was near the nurses station and for whatever reason between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. that room was entered or exited at least a hundred times. The loud door was awful. In their defense the kind nurse did offer melatonin but I didn't feel safe so I didn't want it. This caused me to be incredibly anxious, very frustrated, and resistant to opening myself to the process. My door was opened at least 3 times per hour to check on me for safety. I felt a camera would make more sense. However, when I shared my issues, I received a pad for my bed, ear plugs, and melatonin. Then I slept great! I got a lot out of group time, which helped everyone feel more comfortable with each other. The food in one word was "mediocre." I am interested in nutrition so I can definitely say you get plenty of food, and there are some relatively nutritious options but overall it's pretty much hospital food. With a little bit of junk food mixed in. They allow very little outside time which is a bad idea, everyone wanted outside time. The weekend had less scheduled time which left people bored. My therapist managed to scrounge up a note book but many people said the would benefit from journaling. A case manager said she would resolve that issue and agreed saying "we usually have journals." Overall, I think people can choose to get something out of this setting if you understand that most of the things are designed for safety.
It’s hard leaving a review for this, but to any parents out there, I’m super thankful for The Vines and the staff there. Super communicative, if I had any questions they answered them. It was the most stressful and anxiety inducing week of my life having a child in there, but they were kind, helpful, and supportive providing the help my child needed. The nurses and staff went out of their way to get food to accommodate allergies. I’m thankful for the care and therapy received, and most of all that they were safe.

way better then meridian imo, food was top tier, and staff are kind, the biggest and really only downside is that they change their minds too much and cleanliness could be better, but otherwise would recommend especially if you're in Ocala

Easy to fill out application, after 8 days even though last week was Thanksgiving I have yet to receive a call back. I have since went to the Citizens Service Center of Ocala and gotten further help with my situation. I'm seeking shelter at this moment. I was also referred to the Recovery House by many of my acquaintances, associates, and family/friends.
Shands treated me with a great deal of respect, had my test done in a timely manner going in tomorrow at 5:30 in the morning for surgery ,10 hours be staying there for 7 Days ,May update more but right now I'm more than happy with Shands(tongue cancer)

I Don’t know much about the ER. I was afraid after reading the reviews. My father had to have open heart surgery and the heart department was top notch. The level of care he received was impressive from doctor beaver to all of the staff you guys are hands down the best THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU forever grateful glad we found them

I was there for possible blood infection and septicemia. All though I waited for 9 hours in the waiting room and then 11 hours in the ER room itself, every nurse and Dr was polite and courteous. Apologized for the long wait to get to my room in the Med/Surgery unit. The nurses and Drs on the floor were professional and great to help me for the whole 9 days I was there. From the volunteers to case managers to the patient advocate, all combined to give me a great experience. The only thing that I did not like was the phlebotomists blew almost every vein I had. They had to call the vascular team to come in a get an I.V. started. Other than that, it was cool. Tyvm for a great experience in healthcare. Appreciate it and GBY.

Metamorphosis literally saved my life.
I was court ordered to be at meta through drug court. The rules and 'tattling' is very contradictory to what addicts are used to. The purpose is to learn to hold other accountable for their actions. AA and NA did nothing for me. Bridgehouse did nothing for me. Meta was the only place to recognize what was causing me to use and address that.
I graduated in 2012. I am still clean. Almost 9 years now.
Recovery is different for everyone but hold on to the 'keeping secrets' and 'not snitching' behaviors of my using life wouldn't have helped me get this far.

I didn’t like the process when I first arrived. Holding each other accountable seemed a lot more like snitching or tattling than anything helpful. I felt like many things seemed conflict inducing at first for sure. I soon realized I was being provided a structure to implement better decision making during my time there and with that acquiring tools to take with me after leaving treatment. There’s nothing crazy about anything there in my opinion. The rules are the rules and there are consequences if you break them. They provide everything you need and then some. The staff is wonderful and really care about everyone there whether it’s voluntary or court ordered (majority were voluntary when I left a month ago). I needed to stay longer but had to leave due to circumstances at home that had to be addressed. I’ve been to treatment many times and I feel Meta has given me the very best chance to stay clean.I am a tough critic especially towards things that are stopping me from doing what I want. Meta is different for everyone but personally it’s the first place I would recommend to anyone.

Dynasty Ortega is such a great person. She has helped me and my kids in more ways than one. She’s helped with food pantry resources when I didn’t know what to do. She has helped defend me during a really difficult time at a school meeting. Sometimes us moms are doing it all alone but in reality we aren’t . She was and is my net. This place is awesome, there’s a children’s case manager named Dynasty that always goes out of her way to really help her clients and never complains, she put SMA healthcare on the map for our family. My family really needed help, and everybody was accommodating. I couldn’t be more thankful for them and all the services that SMA healthcare provide.

Nurse Connie really went the extra mile to help me at a crucial point in my recovery. Mrs. Maxine was a fantastic 1 on 1 counselor and helped me achieve a spiritual awakening of the "educational variety" while working steps with a sponsor. Ms. Bobbie was a ray of sunshine and Mr. Randy was a wise mediator. Despite a rather unfortunate discharge it was overall a good experience. This place gives you a good opportunity. You got to be ready. And be mature, but if you reached that point and you seriously are ready I recommend this program. It's hard for someone who doesn't quite understand the addiction or just new to their addiction. It's a struggle but it's a great place for someone who is really ready

10/10. Great place , great staff , gives a lot of grace and much understanding. The director is wonderful as well as the counselors , spent 14 or so month in a the MIST program and was cared for , listened to , and helped beyond measure. Thankful for this place and those who helped me through my pregnancy , and sobriety.

I went for a mental health evaluation and it was okay. I was surprised they saw patients even if they had no money and then helped them get resources to be able to pay. You don't know how much that means to me.

I can't say anything positive about the doctors because I didn't interact with them, but Nika and a few other staff were very friendly and helpful to my family while we had a relative as a patient here.

Tiffany and Anita with the mobile response team in Lake City are amazing and saved my life at home in a tough abusive situation. Meridian is judged too harshly. They are very professional and comforting and Meridian cares. I will always give meridian 5 stars, I would give 10 stars if I could.

I never Experienced bad Treatment there. Ever!! I sure need to re get my Depression csptd anxiety, depression treatment....
The receptionist Cathy was absolutely phenomenal, she went above and beyond to help me and answer all my questions.
The providers themselves were caring and always gave lots of resources with every appointment. They provided excellent mental health help to me, and they were understanding about my needs.

I have been going to Better Beginnings for a few years now. I have never had a bad experience and have nothing negative to say. The admin staff has always been kind and helpful and the therapists have been wonderful and helpful. Angela D. Is fantastic and has helped me through so much.
