I can't recommend FRC enough. This organization has truly been a life-changer and life-saver for me. My journey with FRC began in 2007 when I was a patient receiving care. I was at the lowest point in my life after years of substance use and a near fatal suicide attempt. Under the care of Dr. Teitelbaum, The support I found there was instrumental in introducing me to recovery, and I am incredibly grateful for the nearly 18 years of sobriety I have today because of that start. To come full circle and later spend over 12 years working on the incredible FRC Team has given me a unique perspective. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to witness firsthand the profound, life-changing work that happens there every single day. My appreciation for FRC, its mission, and its dedicated staff is immense. Unfortunately, I am starting a new job in another city to be closer to my family, but I will always carry FRC with me. If you or a loved one is seeking help, you are in the best possible hands.

"It works, if you work it, so work it, you're worth it!" I came to the Florida Recovery Center a broken man, suicidal, no self-confidence, and a great lack of a sense of purpose and worth. Through intensive individual therapy, group therapy, recreation therapy, in-depth 12 Step assignments and application, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), a multitude of informative and illuminating lectures (medical, recreational, spiritual, relational), and a greatly supportive community of people all working on the same goal of sobriety and sanity, I have been able to begin my life anew. I am now 90 days sober for the first time in 30 years thanks to FRC (Florida Recovery Center)!!!! I would not be alive to write this review had they not believed in me and, likewise, I had not believed and trusted the process. YOU must surrender to the process, be vulnerable, and be willing to choose LIFE for yourself - a good life without dragging around the heavy burdens of guilt, shame, and regret.....BUT YOU have to be honest with yourself and them or it probably won't work. IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT SO WORK IT YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!!

FRC has a great program, the staff truly cares about you as an individual and helps develop a treatment program for you to be successful in your recovery!

I graduated the phoenix house in 2019. The program doesn't focus on Just addictions, but the behavior behind addictions. Unfortunately, most of the people that I went with did not make it because they did not want it bad enough. But out of multiple programs that i've been to, this one will have an everlasting impact on me And my life. I sincerely thank the staff for giving me the best fifteen months.I've ever had. I've been sober now for almost seven years.

The Phoenix House has help me transform my life and get back on the correct path the staff and counselors here have been nothing but amazing granted there are a lot of people that come through this place only looking for reprieve from jail or prison but I can honestly say those of us that come here actually looking for a change looking to be better have every opportunity to do so

Go to new season and I know it'll be the best thing you ever did they just continue to get better the new stuff is awesome The new coordinator He's on top of everything and my new counselor Melanie she just rocks it I don't know how I don't know how she has so much care for her patients and will work so hard for them and I like my last counselor but I've not seen this kind of devotion in a counselor besides Julio which I've discovered to be tremendously a helpful person in my life his groups just make you be able to get through the week and there's more than one reason to go to groups you know but the reason mainly is to stay clean and get clean and I called it a life changer now it's a game changer because it's completely changed the way I play my game and I get scared of change of new stuff but new seasons they've got it covered because they hire good people so no matter who you get you're in good hands. I urge people who are trying to decide to go or not and have that scale tipping just tip it on in all you got to do is just take that baby step and then the next baby step after that and then it won't be so hard I just don't want to hear any more about these deaths or families lives being ruined it's it's sad and it took me a long time to see it from the other side it's new season who got me to the other side Melanie she rocks it and Mr Tim he seems very on top of it very professional like I said I just do put this on here because I hope if anybody's facing their recovery on the reviews do it you know do it for you and do it at new season even if you don't get Melanie all the other counselors are good Julio I know he's an excellent counselor I know all of the counselors are great people

I don't know why people go to places like this when you can go to Dr bellum in dunnellon Florida and get a script of Suboxone total pay maybe $250 for the month for 30 pills that you can literally take a quarter a day so one month last 4 months I heard it's like 20 a day for methadone that doesn't even last 24 hours and you're not getting drug tested every damn day and you're not being treated like a junky

i can't thank this place enough, they helped my achieve my goal. They are a true Miracle and some people blame them because they can't get it. If you want it they have it, but you have to open yourself up tp chance, as Change is Growth.

I am so grateful for Gateway, and the amazing staff there. From the staff at detox, to residential llrehab, down to the front desk & providers for out-patient, they are all an amazing part of my recovery. I started my journey almost 5 years ago at Gateway detox and if it wasn't for programs like what Gateway offers, I wouldn't be here today to speak about it. I will forever be grateful for what this facility has done for me, and taught me. I credit a lot of my sobriety to Gateway, for teaching me the skills I needed to lead and maintain a healthy, sober, productive lifestyle and how to love myself. One day at a time, sometimes one hour, one minute, one second. If you are struggling with addiction and do not know where to turn, by all means call Gateway. I couldn't provide a better alternative.. Gateway is where it's at. Detox will make sure you're comfortable during detox by using a MAT treatment plan that you and the doctor have discussed in depth and determined the right plan for you. Once you're released they continuously provide you the support you need. Do yourself a favor and call today, what's holding you back ?

Good experience... Staff have lived thorugh it so they can really help you. Felt safe and supported. Solid programs, including outpatient options. They could communicate with families better and answer more questions during intake, though.

Thank you Gateway for taking care of my needs in the time I was there you helped me get past a point I never thought I could reach and made it possible for me to live without being tied to a stupid drug that I can't stand that I was on you gave me back my freedom thank you so much I've never felt better!!!!!
