I am forever grateful to this place. The staff is incredible, they truly care and put their heart and soul in everything they do. Donald was my therapist, Brandy was my case manager; they were both wonderful. The other therapists and case managers that weren’t even mine were a vital part in my recovery. I suggest utilizing all the staff you can, including the BHT’s. They want to help, and they definitely did. The reviews talking about “only an hour a day in the pool,” or the “gym isn’t good enough,” if that’s what you’re taking away with you in your recovery, then good luck. We had groups every day of the week, which is a necessary part in our recovery. They had activities for us every night, so we could build connections while having fun. The pool and the gym were extra gifts when we had the opportunity to use them. I would have loved it without. If you’re considering taking the steps to recovery, 100% recommend.

Heather the counselors and the doctor run a wonderful facility here. They offer freedom from active addiction a promise of renewed hope and a purposeful driven life free from addiction. My stay here a year ago also provided me the opportunity to live in their sober living home. The art, equine, yoga and reki thrapy sessions are incredible. I really liked the bio bed as well as my free time on the patio. 7 Summit Pathways reintroduced me to mindful meditation, grounding techniques and journaling. My counselor Doug was very encouraging. I was able to get a job near to their sober living house in Valrico and protect my anonymity. They had a nice dinner for the holidays and other clients families would join us. The van was always a safe drive and i always felt reassured and comfortable. They offer a native American Wellbriety meeting on Wednesday at 7pm i look forward to returning to again soon. Alot of these examples have helped me as i was able to keep my sponsor and take steps in the 12 step Narcotics Anonymous program. 7 Summit Pathways helped me keep living a productive good and healthy life. I just wanted to say how incredibly helpful and amazing Heather was tonight during a crisis. I reached out at midnight about a family member and was blown away by her kindness, willingness to talk/help, etc. I have worked in the substance abuse field for over 15 years and been a patient as well. I know that parts of the system can be broken at times. Heather went above and beyond what I have ever seen anyone do. She really cares and is a true angel.

This place really helped me out. If you’re struggling with addiction and or mental illness, Sophros can help. I found their approach much more welcoming than most recovery places. My therapist Scott is one of two therapists that I felt I could trust with anything, and I’ve seen many over the years.

I feel so blessed that I chose Spring Gardens Recovery. I had no prior knowledge of where to go, and as my first rehab experience I was honestly terrified. From the very first call, the admissions staff were kind and patient, answering every question and making me feel comfortable and welcome.
From the moment I arrived, the entire team went above and beyond. The staff truly feel like family—they know your name, care about your story, and give you personal attention every step of the way. The setting is close-knit and never overcrowded, so I never once felt like just a number or a statistic. Instead, it felt like home.
In my 30 days there I learned and grew more than I ever thought possible. The therapists and group leaders were incredible, and the camaraderie with the other clients brought so much laughter and support. Even the food deserves a shout-out—the chefs make every meal with care and it honestly makes a huge difference when you’re going through something so big.
My time at Spring Gardens changed my life and made the process of coming off my substance something I’ll never forget—in the best way. I loved it so much that I decided to continue with their aftercare program, HOPE Gardens, through PHP, IOP, and OP. That turned out to be another amazing decision, because it was like an extension of Spring Gardens and helped me keep growing and learning.

My aunt has been a patient here for almost 2 weeks. She has been provided excellent care here by the entire clinical, rehab and administrative team. The nurses and CNA's have provided the care and compassion well above our familiy's expectation. We are shocked at how much she has thrived at this facility. Laura, my therapist was awesome. She was very patient with me, I asked so many questions. She helped me to understand my problems and gave me tools for the future. She prepared me for a successful recovery. I've never tried yoga before but I took those classes and I learned how to stretch. I have a handicap with my hip and it really helped me with my pain and flexibility. I highly recommend coalition.

White Sands treatment center in Plant City is absolutely amazing! When I arrived, I was feeling very hopeless and scared to say the least. I left white sands yesterday and unfortunately I have been to many treatment centers but I must say this one (Hyde Park) is the best. Staff is very friendly. Tiffany Diana Chris who ran the groups I was in are awesome they both treat you like humans and not clients. One person that stands out the most was my therapist Chris I'm glad to say I learned a lot from him with the small tine I was there He's very passionate about his job and you can tell he's not in it just for the paycheck. All the BHTs are super helpful. Tony and Ted the big bosses 😄 are very friendly also. and treat you like a friend I never not one time did feel out of place there. Tech friendly facility, MAT available (subuclade or taper with soboxone,) Clean comfortable rooms,breaks on weekends,visitation on Sunday,. They provide cigarettes if needed and when available. They pay for your groceries once a week,vollyball,bbq pit basket ball, nature walks,fishing,bowling ECT.Sober living available after care I don't plan on ever going back to rehab but if I ever do white sands would be my favorite

Very much someone who had an immediate aversion to recovery. Super grateful for this program. Offering services for so many different addictions. It was eye opening and humbling to be among other people who were going through a totally different experience than me, yet we related in so many unexpected ways. I can say I am a healthier and happier person because of the ED program. I often find myself even missing the time I was there, and I sit in nostalgia in recollection of all the things I’d learned. I cannot express how deeply grateful I am for my time at TPOT. Walking through the doors on my first day, I was terrified, hopeless, and unsure whether real change was even possible for me. Today, I leave feeling stronger, clearer, and more hopeful than I’ve been in years.

Don’t be fooled. It was hard to get to the point where you need this, so it will be equally as hard to get through it to get away from it, but I will say it’s well worth it to fight the good fight. Trust these folks with your life, and they’ll save it. I’m indebted to these people for the rest of my life. I am so grateful that I found them; they have changed me in ways that are so profound. Westcare is working great for me! A big part of that reason is from my counselor Abrina! She makes me feel that there are people out there that actually want to help me. If you ever are ready to get off the drugs you are on, this is the place that will help you get it done. They truly do care and are really trying to help you. Best thing that has happened to me in about 10 years. If you're really ready to get help this is the place to get it. But only if you're ready. Don't waste their time or money. Because if you're not ready I'm sure there's someone else out there who is. So don't take that spot up if you're not serious and ready. Because someone else needs it.

BoardPrep Recovery really changed my life! I was broken and not in a good place going into treatment. I had a lot thrown at me while in treatment and the staff helped me get through it. I’m not a patient, I bring family members here, so this is a caregiver’s perspective. Both patients I bring express that they’ve connected well with their therapist and Dr. They are benefiting from services, which are offered on a sliding scale for those without insurance. May be $0 for people with no income and no insurance. I’m grateful these services are available in our community!! If I ever need to, I will go here.

Typically calling into schedule with the VA will leave me on the phone for hours being transferred around in circles, all the while being spoken to as if you're a lesser human for your service, or they treat you as if your inconveniencing them.
However, today was different, today I called into the NPR VA and spoke with someone who cares. Karen Thieme is everything the VA should want in an employee, someone representing them and servicing their veterans with a passion to listen, understand, and to provide benefits for. Karen has given me new hope and some more "change in my pocket" when it comes to dealing with the VA now. Thank you Karen for such a simple and yet meaningful phone call, all just to schedule my appointments.
I'll be looking forward to my first visit at NPR with my new doctor and team, if it's anything like my first phone call interaction with Karen, I know I'll be taken care of.

This place helped me the 5 months I was there. Of course could use some lessons on withdrawling because I was in detox when I arrived but it had been over a week so they wouldn't start dosing me. I went through the 5 months here and made alot of great friends!! We r friends till this day!!! They have some really caring staff here!!! I love this place! from the nurses to the staff and counselors, they all care! It’s a clinic it is what you make of it plain and simple. Of course you are time here will be miserable if you don’t follow the rules and continue to get high. If you choose to change your life methadone will do that for you. Yes, it’s a crutch, but I’d much rather be hooked on methadone than heroin/fentanyl! I’ve been on the Clinic since 2012 and it gave me my life back! I understand I’m not completely sober due to the methadone, but I can hold a job. I own a home, car and money in the bank! These are things I would never have if I were still using! I see some of the comments on here about how methadone has cost them their job and so on. GROW UP! Methadone didn’t do that you did that! You can only lead a horse to a river You can’t force him them drink it! I give this place 20 stars if I could for dealing with the crap I see on a daily basis! 😁
