I feel so blessed that I chose Spring Gardens Recovery. I had no prior knowledge of where to go, and as my first rehab experience I was honestly terrified. From the very first call, the admissions staff were kind and patient, answering every question and making me feel comfortable and welcome.
From the moment I arrived, the entire team went above and beyond. The staff truly feel like family—they know your name, care about your story, and give you personal attention every step of the way. The setting is close-knit and never overcrowded, so I never once felt like just a number or a statistic. Instead, it felt like home.
In my 30 days there I learned and grew more than I ever thought possible. The therapists and group leaders were incredible, and the camaraderie with the other clients brought so much laughter and support. I’m not a patient, I bring family members here, so this is a caregiver’s perspective. Both patients I bring express that they’ve connected well with their therapist and Dr. They are benefiting from services, which are offered on a sliding scale for those without insurance. May be $0 for people with no income and no insurance. I’m grateful these services are available in our community!! If I ever need to, I will go here.

If anybody has had their HIPAA rights or civil rights violated, they are overseen by praesum healthcare, obviously they have violated a lot of HIPAA rights for several of us on here you need to contact the Florida department of children and families. Their website is very user friendly, and if you are like me and you are a victim of discrimination based on sexual orientation or race, I would highly encourage you to contact the office for civil rights under the US department of health and human services. Do not let them get away with this, not everybody practices medicine this way in South Florida, not everybody hires racist bigots, they are not a majority here. If you have been to these places and you have been mistreated and discriminated upon act immediately.

There is no communication here at all. You end up being stressed out and excited all the time ( Just to let your hope down). There are barely any groups. And Half the time I didn't feel safe.I had to find a uber home..Sunrise Did not assist me in any way with getting home. They would not let me charge my phone and It was very stressful to get back home after leaving this detoxs It has never been this bad and I would not recommend it

Where do I even begin? When I called during Covid after going through a horrible breakup Diane answered the phone asked me what was going on and told me she had a specialist who could help me. Her energy from the moment she answered was warm and I remember telling her “you’re not getting off that easy, I want you to help me.” She made me a deal and said we could start and if it didn’t work out then I would see her peer. We talked once a week for months about everything from my relationship with my parents to romantic relationships and she really helped me heal my inner child. I looked at this time with her as an investment in myself and being able to break my families generational cycles of behavior for my future kids. She was always sweet, respectful, on time, and on point with what she told me. I did every homework assignment she gave me starting with a dream board and within 24 months it all came true. Met the love of my life, started a family, and have been able to help make a positive impact on my partners children from a prior relationship. I can’t thank you enough for empowering me to realize my full potential, step forward with full confidence, and most importantly never look back at the trauma with a bad taste in my mouth. Everything from then until now has been used as development and I have a beautiful happy baby that knows what it means to be loved. The alumni group ran by Roger is the most impactful group out of them all. I been out of the facility for months now and he still keeps in touch with me to make sure am doing ok and to see if I have anything that’s on my mind or anything at all I need help with. When you talk about a man with a heart of gold. The person that comes to mind is Roger. I have never been one to open up to people or to even trust people but with this group it’s different. You ever ran into a group and be like maannn I feel like I belong here or like dang I feel like we’ve know each other forever. This is that group!!! We have outings and group chats and we just focus on making everyone feel welcome because we are all special and chosen and deserve better. S/o to Roger. A big guy with a soft heart. I was very hesitant on going to mental health therapy but Chris made it comfortable. It's never easy but it's 100% worth it. He guided me along my journey. He is always there when you need him and he's extremely helpful. If there's a day I feel I need to go back, I will always go back to Beehappy.

I was here over 10 years ago maybe 15. When I was their it was so much fun! Sure their was some flaws but most of the staff here at that time were amazing and caring and pretty cool. I made a lot of friends here….some make it and few well idk but in all I loved this place years ago. Tough love yes but at the end they did really want to help. Would love to visit but not sure same people are around.

I have been through about 9 treatment centers. The cravings are always there, I am afraid and resistant to getting help. I usually leave or give up after week two or three. I've noticed a significant change here at Footprints Beachside Recovery for me. I don't want to leave, my cravings have almost gone down completely and I look forward to learning something new everyday. I am an escape artist. I run when things get tough. The way the beach is utilized here is perfect for me to find serenity, peace and calmness within myself. Meetings are enforced everyday and recreational activities. We are also able to go to the gym as I am a world class martial artist. I was about to give up on myself before I found this program. Thank God I came here.

I will never forget my time at this precious place! I walked in broken, lost, pending criminal charges and a heart that needed purpose! A was always a believer. I had a good family that raised me from right and wrong. When I walked into the bubble, I did not know what to expect. It was tough at first, living in close quarters and working in the environment is not easy. It was a lot easier and nicer than where I was sleeping on the streets with nothing. Alone and miserable. I made not just friends, I met FAMILY that I will remember and love for the rest of my life! When I look back at my time at this center, I realize how much fun I was having. How much healing came into my life mentally and physically. Healing into my heart. I realized the people around me did not just want to just help me, they wanted to save my soul. They wanted me to be happy and the best version of me. They lifted me to a place of true self-worth and happiness I did not know. Growing up I was a aspiring professional athlete. I got hurt and realized my dreams we're not a reality. I joined the United States Army and serve my country overseas for over 3 years. I discharged honorably and came home. I started to isolate and party. It is a long story, I ended up with criminal charges for stealing to support my habit. I was court-ordered to this program. I met many of men who were there on their own free will. Either way, however you arrive. It just matters that you make it through the door and never give up. I have not been perfect since leaving and had my slips. I can say, I love my life and I am still fighting the good fight! Happy and connected! Never think you are alone. The people that operate the center have all gone through the program! They all have different experiences, lean on them as they lean on you! If you really want help, REALLY want it! Show up! Let God use the love of this place. It will take you to a place far greater than you could ever ask or imagine. It may be difficult to adjust in the beginning, there might be people half your age or double your age. I became family with all those I met. I am forever grateful for the precious time and the relationship I found with my higher power. The relationship I cherish so very much to this day almost 10 years later! You will work, that's what adults do! They will take you to fun places, maybe to a Lightning game or a Rays game as well. Maybe a concert or a spiritual retreat camp with sports, worship and fun! There will be negative people there who are not there for the right reasons. Put a gap in between yourself and those. Lean on the ones that are reflecting the light of sobriety and happiness. I had a really great experience detoxing at the Coleman Institute's Largo, FL location. Dr. Hossain is the best doctor I've seen since moving to FL over a year ago. He's kind, warm, caring and attentive. The staff was also very good. I have a chronic, painful, debilitating illness that was being treated with pain medication for 11.5 years. I'm doing so much better without pain meds! It feels truly miraculous. My mobility has improved dramatically already. Detoxing through the Coleman Institute is the best thing I've done to improve my health in over a decade, and I've tried a lot of different things. I highly recommend this experience to anyone considering detoxing for any reason.

Boley has been a real blessing 💯 The housing is exquisite and LEAP has greatly improved my overall outlook on life. ALL of the staff are so nice, especially the CEO Kevin and VP Abby and Tammy has been like a guardian angel to me, they are very caring and compassionate people, I absolutely adore Mary and everyone here at Celia Hall. Prior to coming here, I was homeless, delusional and in psychosis, on top of that - a heavy drug user. Boley saved my life and my family is so pleased, as well as myself. Opportunities are opening up for me that I never could've imagined would. If I could rate any higher than 5 stars for this place, I would!

I was so worried when I saw how poor the reviews were. I've been going here for about half a year now, the staff are doing their best. When you have a nonprofit like this of COURSE there will be understaffing etc., you just have to be patient and empathetic, you are not the only person needing help. It takes time to setup appointments for the first go-around, that's to be expected. The one comment I'd have is to implement first appointments for psych over zoom as an option, transportation can be barriers to care, especially for low-income folk. Thank you for all you do!

I have been going to DIRECTIONS For Living since 2019. I have always been treated with the upmost respect and I appreciate that they have wonderful doctors in my opinion. The pharmacy is in House. It’s just a wonderful place for people that have mental disabilities. They don’t make you feel like you’re different.

I've been on and off going here since I was 16 for my mental health. I suggest it to anyone struggling with mental health and money surr you have to wait longer which when you're bad is awful but it's tbe nature of paying a lower cost with people who do care. I see a lot of comments about switching people who are caring for you and I get this when you depend on someone but who you get next is usually just as good and again it's a place to go when you can't exactly afford to pay 250 a week it's amazing for what it is I'll always love directions and all the love I receive when I go
