Every time I make a new account for a free YT Premium subscription I always leave a 5 star review for WhiteSands.
I went three times and it was always so magical. It’s great during the winter months even more so.
I was just talking to a friend about WS and we were talking about how it’s such a vacation….
Wake up and walk to the common area with the breakfast buffet. Get a cup of coffee. Walk back to your room and get ready for the day. Process group. 11am group. Now it’s nap time. Afternoon group. Phone. Gym.
Hit the buffet… again. Some sort of activity at 8pm. Now the day is almost over and you and your roommate agree on a movie… but first you’re a little hungry so grab a snack and walk around for a second.
Anyways. My last time I was there I was a real brat because I was scared….
You know the real world hits fast. 40 hour work week. 5 meetings a week. Therapy.
I’m off the Suboxone now, also.
Anyways just I think I’m so melancholic about WS is it always because a beacon of Hope. From my first time to the third time I usually arrive in trash bags spun out.
And I don’t plan on relapsing. But I made the mistake of going to a treatment center on the East Coast and the entire time I was there I kept saying “You’re not doing this right. You get a vape! Where’s the vape? Where’s the nightly activity? Where’s the community?”
The therapist and counselors are actually top tier. Case Managers actually are hands on there.
Sometimes I just get so flustered with life I wish I could just go back to WhiteSands and take a break.
It’s literally the only reason I pay my insurance premiums.

Incredibly grateful for my stay at WhiteSands. This is as close to five star that you'll get with Florida Blue. Received amazing therapy with Maria, she's an asset to the company! Also thanks to Lawrence, Donald, Anna, Eric, Mike, and Keshawna for group sessions. I've been here before, and they've improved! Amazing case management, medical (including nurses), psych, dietary, gym facilities, and extra activities to keep things interesting. WS has everything you need to begin the healing process and enjoy your stay. I leave with the tools for a successful recovery.

I had a great experience. Beth was the best therapist i've had, her groups in particular were ones i benefitted the most from. I did enjoy the center overall and other therapists/groups, although sometimes the changes can be frustrating.

7 summit has helped me a lot and there is a good community there. There were signs of being unprofessional. But my therapist Beth was amazing, she kept it very real and helped me and my peers work through things and get a better perspective on our addiction and our life. This is the best rehab in town!
I've been to several treatment center's and this one hits home in the most positive way! The staff is amazing and they make sure you're comfortable & respected. Eddy was my primary therapist. He's very good at what he does!
I recently completed their PHP & Sarah was my therapist through it all. She's also very compassionate about therapy, which meant plenty to my recovery process.
Shout out to the all the therapists and technicians. Especially, Anthony, Nadia & Brent. Any help I need, they do their best to provide.
In addition, I'm in their new women's sober living house & I can definitely say my steps of recovery have improved tremendously due to the resources given from Riverside Recovery. I 100% recommend!

I've been struggling to recover after a bad relapse, a friend recommended riverside recovery and I'm grateful that he did. I found the accommodations to be clean and comfortable. The food was good.
The staff are very professional and I have been treated with kindness and respect. The clinical staff is knowledgable and helped me with more than just addiction. They provided effective medication and strategies to manage anxiety, depression and grief, which contributed to my relapse. I especially like the PHP level of care because of its smaller group size. I would definitely recommend riverside recovery for anyone seeking help with addiction and mental health problems.

Comprehensive care at its best. Beautiful facility, and the gold standard when it comes to service. Brett and Mack are two of the areas top residential therapists, with excellent attention to detail and empathy. The aftercare program provides accountability so you can function in the real world using the coping tools you’ve learned in residential. The new sober living is the nicest in Florida, I would highly recommend to anyone seeking treatment for SUD.

Honestly can't say enough good things about this place. I learned so much in just 30 days there. My case worker Sammy n my therapist Joel went way out of their way to get me the help I needed. If you apply yourself there you can really retain a lot. There's a bunch of amazing counselors that run groups that you can get a lot out of. An also a great amount of extra circular activities. If you're looking for a place to start your recovery in Southwest Florida. This is the place.

My aunt has been a patient here for almost 2 weeks. She has been provided excellent care here by the entire clinical, rehab and administrative team. The nurses and CNA's have provided the care and compassion well above our familiy's expectation. We are shocked at how much she has thrived at this facility. Laura, my therapist was awesome. She was very patient with me, I asked so many questions. She helped me to understand my problems and gave me tools for the future. She prepared me for a successful recovery. I've never tried yoga before but I took those classes and I learned how to stretch. I have a handicap with my hip and it really helped me with my pain and flexibility. I highly recommend coalition.

I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.

This is a “no-frills”, last stop for someone who is desperate to make it to tomorrow. If you want sobriety, are out of options and are willing to go to any lengths to get it, Turning Point might work for you. Your success rate is commensurate with the amount of effort you are willing to expend, your ability to follow instructions, and the degree to which you are honest with yourself. I am grateful my husband gets free treatments, doctors consultations, and medicines. People in VA work so hard and at times i have observed that they are understaff. Cleanliness in the bathroom and shower room tho should be improved. Also we need clear directions in going in and out. Though I am so thankful that there are volunteers who would be glad to guide you to go where you need to go. Also when I asked some staff along the way, they gladly will go with me to accompany me to the room where I should be. I can never complain as my husband has been receiving so much care and treatments. Another room of improvement is the availability of the cafeteria. Some people does not live in Tampa so we need to eat and buy food where it is near. Please extend open hours in your cafeteria and more choices too. Thank you and God bless everyone!!!

Par was a great place overall but when your six months are up you are scrambling to find somewhere to go. They DO NOT help in that area. To be completely honest it was the best rehab I've been to. It's the only one that I've stayed out of trouble since leaving.

You will not find better anywhere because all the best are working here. From the councilors like Raven, Kassi, Jessica and Evelyn to the wonderful nurses Tina, Chandra, and Mary (they are the best part of my day)who ensure that you not only get what you are prescribed but also that you are feeling your best. Not only will you never be shamed and only encouraged and motivated by staff but they truly are rooting for you. If you want to succeed and feel your best then you should be treated by the best and they are all here. Added bonus is that you can receive full panel blood screening to make sure that you don't just think you are ok but know that you are. I am the hardest stick and worst to draw blood from but Nay is the absolute best vein expert I have ever seen. Aside from being the best at their jobs they are some of the best people you'll meet as well

This place is what you make of it. If you make problems you will have problems. They will treat you with the same respect you have for them. There's no labels, stigmas or biased stereotyping. Privacy is guaranteed so respect fellow attendees privacy as well. Any staff that is any or all of the above will have a very short career at New Seasons.

Dr Parsamehr and her nurse Mia took care of me and got me over to Jay. Jay was able to communicate with Nelson who fit me into a tight schedule and he and Adianez got me all set.
