I’m not a patient, I bring family members here, so this is a caregiver’s perspective. Both patients I bring express that they’ve connected well with their therapist and Dr. They are benefiting from services, which are offered on a sliding scale for those without insurance. May be $0 for people with no income and no insurance. I’m grateful these services are available in our community!! If I ever need to, I will go here.

Whitesands truly changed my life. I came in broken, lost, and unsure if I could ever get back on the right path. This facility is incredible. The staff is my favorite part. From Ryan and Mark in admissions, Angel, Jason and Shannon directors on site, my case manager Amanda, and therapist Joel. All incredibly supportive and understand addiction and recovery. The support staff is highly professional as well. Medical staff was very knowledgable. Detox was smooth. The gym and pool are amazing amenities as well as volleyball and other activities. Thank you WhiteSands!

Deshawn is the best case manager I ever had in any facility, he was very friendly, understanding, and got things done very efficiently I hope to not need to come back but if I do I hope to have him again and recommend him to anyone coming to white sands

This place is well known for being horrible, Tampa Bay Times, did an article on them. I know this review is under my husband who was the patient. But, I didn't stop, I showed up when they weren't expecting me to, I fought. They told me my husband was not compliant with meds, and I knew my husband had attempted suicide, but I am also a nurse, who knew the baker act rules, like the back of my hand. We obtained a lawyer. Everyone at this facility has been helpful to me and my mother. Although, Rod went above and beyond to assist in any way he could. This experience was so difficult to handle but with his help, I was able to get my mom the help she needed. All the staff I encountered were caring and supportive. Front the front desk (Diana) to the nurses, I feel this is a safe place.

Staff is excellent and the doctors actually take the time to sit with patients to properly diagnose them in order to help. Nurses are caring and attentive. The techs definitely need raises because of the situations that they deal with professionally and effectively. Beds are not comfortable and individual therapy or counseling sessions would be very helpful for those that would like them.

The veterans medical outpatient facility located in Zephyrhills has a very large and important responsibility of taking care of many many veterans that are disabled retired and the list goes on and on speaking for myself I can only say I am amazed that the staff have always provided myself with the best of medical care and treatment and trust me I have had some serious medical treatment provided on my behalf by the VA and I am so proud to be a Navy veteran and to have served my country honorably and now 49 years have passed by after my first visit to a doctor at the James a Haley veterans hospital in Tampa Florida located on Bruce b downs back in those days that hospital was not as large as this satellite clinic here in Zephyrhills and every time I need to go to Tampa for specialty clinics I am so amazed and proud to be able to say now my country serves me by taking care of my medical needs as they promise upon my horrible discharge in 1975. The growth of the James has become so large and modernized with only the best care provided to our veterans by highly trained doctors and the nursing staff is unmeasurable and I can honestly say I cannot recall one veteran complaining of the care they received and I have met many many veterans from the highest rank to the lowest and not ever been disrespected by another veteran and I am proud to say I have witnessed love and respect when these men and women go beyond being just a neighbor as they jump up to help another veteran that is struggling in a wheelchair a cane or a walker that gets assured no man is ever left behind and always delivered to the proper specialty clinic. Every time I have an appointment I can see the love that leaves me with a feeling of Hope for humanity showing just how great and wonderful it is to be an American in this great United States. Now I am looking forward to watch the process of a new medical facility that will be built here in Zephyrhills just behind the CVS drugstore on Gall Blvd and it is a assuring and worthwhile project to spend federal money as everyone realizes that a military veteran gives up so much of his person so that others may live in freedom and happiness 😊

My son had been at this facility from November to December 2024. The entire staff was wonderful and really helped him transition to the next facility as part of his therapy journey. This is why I went to them again. Michael and Michelle the intake nurses were the same staff members who had helped my son and still remembered him and that was a big help. It was a scary experience for me but thanks so much to the staff, especially Jamie the risk manager, who went out of their way to help me and achieve the necessary solution to my issues. Everyone is nice, compassionate and understanding. I definitely recommend this facility if it applies to your mental heath journey.

This hospitals staff is amazing. I would like to mention the employees that worked closely in ensuring my brother safety arrival to me from Florida to Georgia. They literally went above and beyond in the care and Ensuring care and concern measures. They told me that my brother was totally rehabed and We are all doing well. Thank you to Nurse Jamie and Connie. And the others Doctors including Madison and so on... Just a really great staff. It takes a lot of care and love to be a Psych Nurse, MD. and a staff member. As soon as you walk into the lobby, it is clean and inviting. It has a TV viewing area and a play area set up for children. The staff is very helpful and all your questions are answered in a timely and caring manner. I have been going to the office for twelve years and I highly recommend them.

Heather the counselors and the doctor run a wonderful facility here. They offer freedom from active addiction a promise of renewed hope and a purposeful driven life free from addiction. My stay here a year ago also provided me the opportunity to live in their sober living home. The art, equine, yoga and reki thrapy sessions are incredible. I really liked the bio bed as well as my free time on the patio. 7 Summit Pathways reintroduced me to mindful meditation, grounding techniques and journaling. My counselor Doug was very encouraging. I was able to get a job near to their sober living house in Valrico and protect my anonymity. They had a nice dinner for the holidays and other clients families would join us. The van was always a safe drive and i always felt reassured and comfortable. They offer a native American Wellbriety meeting on Wednesday at 7pm i look forward to returning to again soon. Alot of these examples have helped me as i was able to keep my sponsor and take steps in the 12 step Narcotics Anonymous program. 7 Summit Pathways helped me keep living a productive good and healthy life. I reached out at midnight about a family member and was blown away by her kindness, willingness to talk/help, etc. I have worked in the substance abuse field for over 15 years and been a patient as well. Whew! Where to even start - I’m so grateful and honored - After completing a 10-day inpatient rehab for alcohol, I entered Sophros Recovery’s IOP and OP programs — and I can honestly say it completely turned my life around. I came into the program with a heavy heart, still grieving the losses of my father and younger brother, and burdened by years of personal struggles and past relationship hardships. But Sophros gave me something I hadn’t felt in a long time: hope, direction, and a true sense of belonging.
From the very first day, the entire faculty made me feel welcomed and supported. It truly felt like a second home — a safe space to focus on healing, growth, and rediscovering who I am.
A huge shoutout to Rajon, my therapist, who has been absolutely incredible. She challenged me in all the right ways, helped me see things from a new perspective, and always made me feel heard and understood. I've been through 7 or 8 treatment facilities and successfully completed two prior PHP programs. This program has given me the most individual attention, comfortability and feelings towards being cared for properly. The staff genuinely cares and although I am a Christian, I like that Buddhism is incorporated as an overall message of peace. Thank you Sophros.

I feel so blessed that I chose Spring Gardens Recovery. I had no prior knowledge of where to go, and as my first rehab experience I was honestly terrified. From the very first call, the admissions staff were kind and patient, answering every question and making me feel comfortable and welcome.
From the moment I arrived, the entire team went above and beyond. The staff truly feel like family—they know your name, care about your story, and give you personal attention every step of the way. The setting is close-knit and never overcrowded, so I never once felt like just a number or a statistic. Instead, it felt like home.
In my 30 days there I learned and grew more than I ever thought possible. The therapists and group leaders were incredible, and the camaraderie with the other clients brought so much laughter and support. I admitted myself to Spring Gardens 17 months ago. It was the best experience ever. The accommodations were great, the staff were amazing, and the treatment I received was class A! I was in pretty bad shape when I arrived. With the care I received, I have begun the rebuilding process.
