This place has helped me in ways I will forever be thankful for. Anytime I call the women at the front desk answer promptly and are incredibly helpful. They are just as nice and helpful in person as well. The security guard always has a smile on his face and definitely brings a strong sense of safety in the building. Latiere Wallace is a smart caring kind woman who listens and offers multiple possible solutions. She never tries to rush me out of her office and she always makes me feel valid and understood. I really appreciate her and everyone else here. Schena in the pharmacy is another incredibly kind woman who gives courtesy calls when I am due for a refill on my prescription. Very low cost professional mental help. You get what you give of this place and as long as you are respectful to the staff they are the kindest most compassionate group of people. Sometimes the lobby can be a bit rowdy but it’s important to keep in mind everyone is either there for help or there to help. Thank you Baycare.

Every time I make a new account for a free YT Premium subscription I always leave a 5 star review for WhiteSands. I went three times and it was always so magical. It’s great during the winter months even more so. I was just talking to a friend about WS and we were talking about how it’s such a vacation…. Wake up and walk to the common area with the breakfast buffet. Get a cup of coffee. Walk back to your room and get ready for the day. Process group. 11am group. Now it’s nap time. Afternoon group. Phone. Gym. Hit the buffet… again. Some sort of activity at 8pm. Now the day is almost over and you and your roommate agree on a movie… but first you’re a little hungry so grab a snack and walk around for a second. Anyways. My last time I was there I was a real brat because I was scared…. You know the real world hits fast. 40 hour work week. 5 meetings a week. Therapy. I’m off the Suboxone now, also. Anyways just I think I’m so melancholic about WS is it always because a beacon of Hope. From my first time to the third time I usually arrive in trash bags spun out. And I don’t plan on relapsing. But I made the mistake of going to a treatment center on the East Coast and the entire time I was there I kept saying “You’re not doing this right. You get a vape! Where’s the vape? Where’s the nightly activity? Where’s the community?” The therapist and counselors are actually top tier. Case Managers actually are hands on there. Sometimes I just get so flustered with life I wish I could just go back to WhiteSands and take a break. It’s literally the only reason I pay my insurance premiums.

Incredibly grateful for my stay at WhiteSands. This is as close to five star that you'll get with Florida Blue. Received amazing therapy with Maria, she's an asset to the company! Also thanks to Lawrence, Donald, Anna, Eric, Mike, and Keshawna for group sessions. I've been here before, and they've improved! Amazing case management, medical (including nurses), psych, dietary, gym facilities, and extra activities to keep things interesting. WS has everything you need to begin the healing process and enjoy your stay. I leave with the tools for a successful recovery.

One of the best rehabs I have been too. I have been to. Therapist Maria is amazing. There is always more than 1 group to choose from and information is broken down in interactive and easy to understand way. Groups are led by very knowledgeable therapist. Staff and nurses amazing as well! Director does not hide behind a door. Beds are comfy, tvs in room , gym and pool. Food isn't bad. They meet you were you are but dont leave u there. My first visit to this VA clinic. Some things don’t change. VA nurses/Techs need access to my medical history not just doctors. Be ready to answer tons of questions for both primary care and mental health. Why not have both in the room for patients who get care at both???? Similar questions. You need an appointment for Labs???? Good thing no one waiting because it was empty in the AM and PM. Patients need easy access for ancillary services! Lab team was amazing! Overall long visit.

I love getting my services here! The concierge Renee physically walked me to my destination. Sheila was able to get my info over to my primary. Dr Parsamehr and her nurse Mia took care of me and got me over to Jay. Jay was able to communicate with Nelson who fit me into a tight schedule and he and Adianez got me all set. All this coordination took less than an hour! I love my teams here! Thank you all for taking such good care of me!

I've been baker acted multiple times (as a minor, now an adult) and this is the best facility. As long as you work with staff, they'll do their best to get you in and out. I like that they do bloodwork in this location, and Monday through Friday are pretty scheduled (we don't talk about Saturday Sunday). They have a gym as well, which is great for getting engery out and feel lighter while at such a facility. I believe Ash and Stephanie were the best I'd interacted while there. Stephanie is a nurse who told me her honest opinion about my case and helped me process some final emotions, and Ash is a floor tech who was a Saint in getting answers for me, relaying messages, explaining why or why not things– and helpful for minor tasks like changing the TV or getting a snack. He genuinely seemed like such a nice guy, and it makes me glad someone like him is there for those who need someone to rely on while admitted. Overall, this facility is where I would choose again and again, whether for me or for others. They get you the help you need, make sure you're doing okay, and ensure you're stabilized before you leave. I'm thankful for those who helped me and I know they'll continue to help others as they need too.

I was recently a patient at this facility, and despite the difficult circumstances, I left feeling genuinely cared for by some truly exceptional staff members. Bobbie (nurse) stood out the most. She brought warmth and humanity to what could have been a cold, frightening experience. She talked with us, listened, and even taught me practical tools for redirecting attention away from trauma. Her kindness made a real difference. Kelly (nurse) also deserves recognition. When other staff declined to explain medications in detail, Kelly took the time to answer all my questions patiently and thoroughly. I also witnessed her gently helping another patient untangle and fix her hair when that patient didn’t have the energy to do it herself. That small act of compassion said everything about who she is. Thank you Bobbie and Kelly for reminding patients that they are seen and valued. You made a hard time a little easier.

I think i wrote my review under the wrong hospital but everyone was awesome for the most part. My name is Cameron Atwood and im still taking my medicine by some miracle. I went into this facility so psychotic i didnt know up from down. I had real people help me see the real lies i was telling myself. I thought everybody was the enemy and somehow people like Stephanie (The Goat) and even those who didnt believe what i believed like Peter broke through to me. The chapman there are amazing and i cant complement the Techs more doing gods work. I was nursed back to a stable point not from medicine but from the grace and compassion of the nurses and most of the techs! People like ASH, Sydney, Shy, and Patrick made me feel safe and comfortable in a foreign place. I cannot thank this facility enough and pray everyone gets the grace and compassion they showed me back in 10 fold. I can literally type for hours about how they helped me but my fingers might get tired. Oh and Richard and Gavin got me to trust medicine which im still having a hard time with but without this entire team i believe id still be unstable to this day. Again just to mention Nurse Stephanie is probably the nicest person I've ever met and the first person i fully trusted in Lutz. What I'm trying to say is the People working nursed me back to health not any medicine even though i will admit the drugs helped. Thank you guys for your kindness

I want to thank North Tampa Behavioral Health. The facility looks modern and clean and the staff was engaging, kind and nice people. This is the best mental health facility in the entire central western region of the state. As an American I get free top quality health insurance called Medicare A, B & D. The intake staff was very cheerful and engaging and attentive to the patients inside the secure facility. I got my new medicine for behavioral health and I couldn't be more happier with the results. My mood totally changed inside the facility from being completely sour to roaring with joy and comfort and remaining that way throughout my recent mental health journey. I'm usually very happy for about 90% of the time. I preoccupy myself with fun activities like bicycling and basketball but there are certain times that I fall into a hole of anxiety, depression and self doubt around 10% of the time overall but the new medication helps me to balance my mood and I physically feel better after taking my medication. If I ever have another mental health meltdown again I will go directly to this facility for proper healthcare and wellbeing updates. Don't be afraid to ask for help when it comes to mental health. Your mental health is important and you should evaluate yourself honestly and outwardly if ever or whenever you're in doubt ask for help before making a final decision that could end your life prematurely. I hope this helps someone who is in need of mental health. Speak outwardly about mental health don't be ashamed. Many people, millions of people remain undiagnosed in positions of grand stature and low stature. Seek help if you need it please. Try your best to look forward towards something new & uncomfortable. I highly recommend the Sabal Palms Recovery Center. It has exceeded my expectations. Sabal Palms is located in Brooksville, Florida. It is a "country" type setting which people from northern states would definitely enjoy. Nature abounds. It is more like a "retreat", rather than just a rehab. Sabal Palms has nice paths around the property, a resort style pool, as well as a tennis court which is also used for half court basketball games. Most importantly, it is a small "retreat" with 20 to 30 clients. All of the patients attend the same group classes. So, you will quickly get to know your classmates. Better yet, all of the staff from the Administrator, Nurses, BHA techs to the Housekeeping and Dining Room staff remember your name. The cooks know what I prefer to drink (green sodas) and what I may not particularly enjoy (sweet potatoes). The food is wonderful! Stephanie's pancakes and French toast are a great way to start the day. Dinner is even better! If you aren't particularly fond of what is being served, you can request something else from a limited menu. I love the egg salad sandwich and the grilled ham and cheese. But, with the menu items you can't go wrong. What impressed me most was the Therapists. As mentioned, it is a small community where everyone knows your name. I learned a lot about myself and addiction in all of the counselors classes/groups. Thanks Nicole, Mackenzie, Bruce, Jelani and Anaiha. I'm also grateful for the nightly AA meetings chaired by local residents who come to lead the meetings. I highly recommend Sabal Palms Recovery Center. It is a great choice for Floridians and an even better "retreat" for out of state folks looking for a tranquil place to better themselves. One piece of advice, bring a few sweatshirts and sweatpants. The veterans medical outpatient facility located in Zephyrhills has a very large and important responsibility of taking care of many many veterans that are disabled retired and the list goes on and on speaking for myself I can only say I am amazed that the staff have always provided myself with the best of medical care and treatment and trust me I have had some serious medical treatment provided on my behalf by the VA and I am so proud to be a Navy veteran and to have served my country honorably and now 49 years have passed by after my first visit to a doctor at the James a Haley veterans hospital in Tampa Florida located on Bruce b downs back in those days that hospital was not as large as this satellite clinic here in Zephyrhills and every time I need to go to Tampa for specialty clinics I am so amazed and proud to be able to say now my country serves me by taking care of my medical needs as they promise upon my horrible discharge in 1975. The growth of the James has become so large and modernized with only the best care provided to our veterans by highly trained doctors and the nursing staff is unmeasurable and I can honestly say I cannot recall one veteran complaining of the care they received and I have met many many veterans from the highest rank to the lowest and not ever been disrespected by another veteran and I am proud to say I have witnessed love and respect when these men and women go beyond being just a neighbor as they jump up to help another veteran that is struggling in a wheelchair a cane or a walker that gets assured no man is ever left behind and always delivered to the proper specialty clinic. Every time I have an appointment I can see the love that leaves me with a feeling of Hope for humanity showing just how great and wonderful it is to be an American in this great United States. Now I am looking forward to watch the process of a new medical facility that will be built here in Zephyrhills just behind the CVS drugstore on Gall Blvd and it is a assuring and worthwhile project to spend federal money as everyone realizes that a military veteran gives up so much of his person so that others may live in freedom and happiness 😊

When it comes to negative reviews on this facility, you must take into account the clientele and their state of mind. The staff during my stay was professional and courteous. They seemed overwhelmed at times but that happens with how many chaotic eruptions outside of their control occur. The staff handled moments like that with ease and professionalism. They monitor interpersonal relationships well and separate patients preemptively when needed. I'm horrible with names but the driver Ernie who took me home provided deep and insightful conversation to really tie the whole experience together.

Unforgettable experience. Almost all staff there when I was there to rehabilitate, was thoughtful and had their hearts in the right place. The program directors, support councilors, and all other staff members on campus made sure almost daily to check up on the youth, and building solid foundations of trust needed to have consistent progress in therapy both in session and internal. There were opportunities to further your education and if you could show responsibility and determination to better yourself, your given opportunity’s to learn more hands on life skills, like painting or how to properly write a resume and apply for a Job. While from the perspective of being rehabilitated, things can seem negative and hopeless at times. When I was there I didn’t share an positive outlook, but after deeply analyzing my experience In hindsight, this was the safest and most caring place to learn necessary coping skills to stay recovered. And I’m very thankful for all the staff members who did their job with their heart and minds in the right place. 5 stars

My aunt has been a patient here for almost 2 weeks. She has been provided excellent care here by the entire clinical, rehab and administrative team. The nurses and CNA's have provided the care and compassion well above our familiy's expectation. We are shocked at how much she has thrived at this facility. She says she hasn't felt this good in a long time. She absolutely loves the food and has even put on some much needed weight. Laura, my therapist was awesome. She was very patient with me, I asked so many questions. She helped me to understand my problems and gave me tools for the future. She prepared me for a successful recovery. I've never tried yoga before but I took those classes and I learned how to stretch. I have a handicap with my hip and it really helped me with my pain and flexibility. I highly recommend coalition.

When I first walked through the doors of Sophros, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. That rock bottom everyone talks about. I had been to my fair share of rehabs and treatment programs and somehow could not seem to get sobriety to stick. I was hopeless, alone, and scared. But this place changed that, and set my life on a new trajectory I didn’t think was possible. This place is truly one of a kind. I hit the jackpot when I was assigned Shannon as my therapist. You’ll see her mentioned a lot in these reviews, and for very good reason. To bluntly put it, she saved my life. And I’m not being dramatic when I say that. Her wit, compassion, and dedication is one of the main reasons I’ve made it this far. She taught me to not complicate the uncomplicated, to stop trying to outsmart my disease, and get out of my own way. Simple truths, that seemed impossible to grasp. The entire team at Sophros is made up of some of the most caring humans I’ve been blessed to encounter. They didn’t give up on me, especially when I felt like giving up on myself. Shannon, Veronica, Rajon, Laura, Luna, Drew, and everyone else, make this a truly wonderful healing place. I’ve been through PHP, IOP, and hope to continue on with OP when that time comes. Outstanding program! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. I was fortunate enough to stay in the new housing for the duration of PHP. It’s a good balance of freedom and accountability. As compared to being locked down like other PHPs I had considered. Sophros provided a number of different approaches in sessions to help keep everyone engaged. And my therapist Shannon was top notch. I have gone to many, many treatment centers in an attempt to adress my alcoholism. Countless. The staff at Sophros is unlike anything Iv'e encountered. They are not just a business, and we are.not just numbers. The individualized attention and care for our wellbeing is by far unmatched. I have the pleasure of having Shannon as my therapist, connecting dots and helping me see things that no other therapist has been able to do. Rayshawn, the senior therapist provides ART, a therapy I knew nothing about but honestly has changed my life in a big way. Tim, in charge of housing here, goes above and beyond for us everyday helping us set.ourselves up for success. Even the techs are amazing, Cam, Jaime and Tyler are always there to help. My experience was life changing!! Took me a few days to get into the swing of things, but once I realized what the program was all about, I knew I was in the right place. I got the help I didn't know I needed. I got sober 4 years ago,and i was having trouble dealing with emotions that i always dealt with,with alcohol. I got to the root of my true self,and the treatment is working!!The staff was amazing. So nice and so helpful. I wanna thank the techs, Bridget, Rashad, Jordan, laura, Brady,and the new ones I didn't get to know. I wanna thank Brian for making me feel at home. I wanna thank my therapist Margaret, and Gene, Charles, Sandra, and especially Heather. I felt like she knew me. I wanna thank the nurse Julisa,for always smiling, and the psychiatrist Amisha for getting me on the right medication. So if you need safe and productive treatment for whatever your dealing with, I highly recommend Clean Recovery Center!!!!!!

I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.

This is a “no-frills”, last stop for someone who is desperate to make it to tomorrow. If you want sobriety, are out of options and are willing to go to any lengths to get it, Turning Point might work for you. Your success rate is commensurate with the amount of effort you are willing to expend, your ability to follow instructions, and the degree to which you are honest with yourself. This place saved my life.
