Thank you so much for being such a wonderful support system during my time in rehabilitation. I wanted to reach out now that I'm feeling better to express my sincere thanks.
Your collective support, patience, and kind hearts made all the difference on the toughest days.
To Alicia, Haley, Diego, Ines, Melissa, and Danielle: Your emotional support was the rock I leaned on. It meant so much that you trusted me enough to let me help you with the shopping. And to Mariah, thank you for your professional guidance and dedication to my recovery. Your expertise has built a strong physical and mental foundation that I am relying on as I move forward.

I am incredibly grateful for the support I received from the Deland treatment center, and from all the staff, techs and nurses who helped me and supported me in my recovery. Their commitment and dedication to helping people in my position was the most excellent I could’ve asked for. The techs, counselors and therapists were kind enough to indulge me and allowed me to work on my projects with supervision to keep myself entertained. Special thanks to Courtney, Kim and Danielle. I would also like to thank the nursing staff who not only helped me while in the treatment center, but gave me guidance for after treatment in getting my medication, especially Megan and Jocelyn. To anybody considering going to a treatment center, Delands the only center I’ve ever been to but hopefully the only one I’ll need. They gave me a second chance. I’d highly recommend going there if you’re in need of help. I’d also highly recommend writing down any Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime, PSN, etc passwords you have and getting your accounts squared away before going there. You won’t be seeing your phone unless absolutely necessary for banking reasons. If you like to read, bring books or comics. Bring comfortable clothes for when you’re on detox week 1 and nicer clothes for after you feel better. Everybody there genuinely wants to help you and see you recover.

Very welcoming environment, even with social anxiety I never felt unwelcome. The staff are all amazing shoutout to Hailey, Courtney, Melissa, and Alyssa. As well as the private cooks who will accommodate for any dietary needs. This combined with the environment lead to the most revolutionary 30 days and money I’ve ever spent. If you are in need of residential rehabilitation then from my experience I couldn’t recommend Deland Treatment Solutions more.

The medical staff did a wonderful job with proper medication I needed to detox safely, I had unsuccessfully tried to detox myself at home and was really sick.
Never once did I feel stripped of my humanity, I was treated with dignity and respect and I did the same with the staff.
Lastly the food was good, I gained almost 20 lbs that I desperately needed as I was pretty thin.

From experience, I understand residential care very well and how important of a decision it is for a client and family. I have nothing but great things to say about Harmony Hills. She has recovered thanks to the efforts of all the staff- especially Eddie, Leah, Christine, and Nicole...and many others. Most importantly, my daughter received quality mental health counseling! She also reported great food (she's a vegetarian), that the accommodations were very good, she enjoyed activities, and that compassion and care were continual during treatment. Further, the staff kept me updated and were collaborative about her care. She is doing great now and I could not be more pleased and relieved. They were professional and personable from the intake to the completion of her program. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would and will recommend Harmony Hills to my clients and anyone needing residential care. They were a Godsend!

i am writing this review as a loved one of someone who was treated at Harmony Hill. I wish to express my deepest gratitude to Shannon who clearly cared about my daughter and our family. In my experience thus far, she stands out with her caring and thoughtful ways. My daughter has not sounded this clear headed since her addiction started. Although we don't hold any false expectations, we are very hopeful that our daughter will continue in her journey of recovery. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the discharge process. I hope administration reads this. Discharge plans should start on the day of admission. Planning does not start when you get a discharge date. The centers explanation for last minute planning is that they don't start looking for availability until they have a d/c date. While i understand this, a list should be compiled of options before d/c that are within ones ins network to allow us time to make the best decision as not all sober living is equal.

First of all, HH was a great facility. If you genuinely WANT to help yourself and stay sober/clean, you’ll appreciate every single quality that this center has to offer.
1. The staff is amazing. My therapist was Shannon and she was a real person. She treated me not as an alcoholic but acted a mentor through my journey. Eric was the best therapist I’ve ever worked with. He challenged me and made me face issues that I didn’t plan on addressing in treatment.
2. The facility itself was BEAUTIFUL. It was quiet, serene and simply looked like a ranch in the middle of nowhere. The IDEAL atmosphere to focus on yourself and your recovery.
3. The ‘cottages’ or residences were new, CLEAN and felt more like a hotel than a hospital. People who are complaining about this facility CLEARLY

I was a student at TC Orlando for 1 year and
5 days. During one of my first weeks in the program a lady at the car wash was kind enough to ask how we were doing that day and encouraged us by saying "remember there's no perfect program" and she was right. There's plusses and minuses to every aspect in life.
I am not here to discuss what I thought was wrong with or right about TCO. I will say that many of the negative things I read in other Google reviews have been rectified and are no longer relevant. My aim in writing this review is that you will enter TCO eyes wide open and not be upset or surprised at what you do/don't find and will encounter God, graduate and maintain sobriety afterwards.
Let me tell you what Teen Challenge Orlando has to offer
Professional Services-
If you require doctors visits or dental work, TCO offers transportation to and from appointments.
Mentors provide regular opportunities for
students to open up and talk about personal
struggles.
Amenities
Kitchen/Cafeteria- Top of the line as far as rehabs go.
All the coffee you can drink during breakfast but don't over do it.
Meals are protein heavy, diverse and have a good amount of vegetables, essential for the brain's recovery on a chemical level.
Stear clear of the sodas and limit your dessert intake or you'll get what's known as the TC 30 in your first 30 days. If not more...
Dorms- Always cold but just in the way that you want.
Mattresses- Par for the course. However, bring a $10 foam topper and you'll sleep like a baby, guaranteed.
Closets- Each student gets half plus ample shelving space.
There is a shed outback for shoes so the rooms don't stink and floors stay clean, 5
pair limit.
Bathrooms- They are super clean and you'll never run out of hot water; plenty of sinks and showers. Usually no wait time for your morning shave. Remeber to be a gentleman and clean up after yourself. Your Mrs. or future Mrs. will appreciate this later.
Laundry- They will have a couple of designated students assigned to laundry duty and your clothes will be washed and folded on a weekly basis.
Gym- Outdoor, covered weight area with elliptical, free weights, multi-use lift machine, mat for stretching and a HUGE tire to flip around campus and compete with others for bragging rights!
A half court for basketball and sandpit volleyball area.
Sorry, no in-ground pool. This is rehab, not
a resort.
Need something?
TCO has a massive thrift store.
If you're lacking anything outside toiletries and socks/underwear all you have to do is fill out a slip and an intern or mentor will have you hooked up and "drippin" in a day or so.
Library- Several hundred books ranging from addiction recovery strories to deep subjects of the Bible and personal growth. I read over 60 books during my time spent at TCO. The best part was a series of biographies about Christian heros of the faith. I read all of them. My one take away was this- Not a single one lived a boring, unfulfilled life once they fully surrendered It over to God and chose to walk in faith and obedience. The same can and WILL happen for you if you make that choice.
Work Detail
Monday 12-5, Tue, Thur, Fri, 9-5; Wed 9-4:30, Sat. 8-5
Usually done a little early to make it back for dinner.
"What?! This sounds like a labor camp, not a rehab!!!"
Well all your needs are provided for and "regular" people work 40 hrs a week. Think of it as a 12 months of retraining for when you get back out into the real world.
You get to build up your work ethic without the pitfalls of spending a paycheck on drugs or alcohol.
Furthermore Teen Challenge has over 1400 locations in 125 countries. Not all are financially self supporting. So the efforts put in here ensures that others receive help elsewhere. If you look at it from this perspective your outlook will be a lot more positive.
Please see attached photos for complete review. Note- Reading in order 3, 2, 5, 4, 1

i came here back in beginning of august, it was my very first time being bakeracted so i didn’t really know what to expect but i was a bit scared. i ended up really liking this hospital for my first time, i felt pretty safe. they don’t force you to do any activities if you don’t want to although it helps them check for progress for yourself. if you wanted to rest in or nap at any time you could as well, which is what i also liked about it. i just feel like anyone struggling with mental health, shouldn’t have to be forced to do stuff if they’re not feeling it, but slowly getting into it when they’re ready. this place overall was very good to me and i appreciate them for everything

Let me be clear here....there may be some errors in the following....but all is accurate and true, and nothing but a testament to the most true, relentless, and real actualization of a compassionate care program for the souls who face opioid use disorder on the daily, like myself. there is not one person, who in the throes of addiction, would be better off at any other threshold of any other door in Volusia county. Anywherel. Jenna Spurlock, the NEW program director, is absolutely and without a doubt not your orthodox, or stereotypical rehabilitation program overseer. Talk about a "franchise quarterback". (Tom Brady, for example). She is more kin to an angel, the way I see it. She has got a staff that has gone from what was once a high turnover, revolving door of mid level talents, and hit or miss with the social workers there to punch in, out, and then cash that check...is NOW an exemplary model of what I believe the opioid crisis in this country has a shot to be annoculated by. This hatchling program of Ms.Spurlock's design and engineering has turned around my life. And the life of more than a handful of the people in my life that I call friends, family, and acquaintances. A professional colleague, a school teacher, and multiple medical staff from other clinic types, beside our loved ones, everyday. This enables is to actually grow and live WITH our loved ones, whom at one time, in most cases, relationships became severely damaged via opioid addiction. Also using a blocker as sometimes they're referred to, these medicines like methadone actually keep people like me from experiencing any reward when we attempt a relapse. Keeping us safe in relapse...anf reducing and clearing all cravings ultimately. Yes, I have experienced this, on my life. What does the program look like to someone coming in, walk-in off the street? Well, I know the earlier the better for a walk in, but they'll always take ya if they physically, possibly can. YOU EILL BE DOSED THAT DAY...WITHDRAWAL WILL BE EASED, without a doubt. The induction process is aggressive and faster than anywhere else, so true physical addicts, have a chance to break fentanyl's hold on the body mind and spirit. Accept most insurance and will work with you whatever it takes, to create your victory over opioid addiction. Jenna Spurlock....she was the first compassionate caregiver to those struggling in opioid addiction or abuse disorder, Ive ever met. She is the first I've ever known to propegate a program where the addiction is viewed in each situation, Independently if anyone else's, and even the complexity of partnerships and spousal pairs who want to kick fentanyl to the curb. First and foremost I was able to avoid the withdrawal, and let time begin to heal my mind body and soul. Second the money I no longer spend in dope, has allowed me to get back on the horse in my career, and begin to rebuild what id lost long ago, at the hands of fentanyl, heroin, and the man in the mirror. The staff is not the revolving group of new faces it used to be. There's no line to get in. Jenna works this sense of verbal jiujitsu to disarm the enemy within most of us, holding ourselves hostage at needle point, if you will...and accessing our higher potentials through processes that she is the master of, and her staff of social working professionals and counselors, medical doctors and nurses distribute this ed, techniques, and care to the patient masses... they're best nurses; sweetest, nicest, most patient, easy vibing, and cute to boot. The easiest most supportive route to effective counseling, medication assisted treatments (i.e. m'th'done, subs) good social workers and a support system not nearly as large, but far more formidable than the current systems keeping the dark side of the drug biz running. Don't get me wrong, treatment starts and ends with YOU. never before though have I, a freelance, less than timid, extroverted, traveling musician gotten to look myself in my reflection's sober eyes, and tell me how much I love me. Jenna and her team showed me why.

Lake Mary, FL | Located in Lake Mary, Florida, Orlando Behavioral Health offers both in person and telehealth outpatient services, including substance use disorder treatment. Holistic Services for Seniors in Lake Mary The facility’s programming is personalized to meet the unique needs of children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Their team is composed of psychi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Hands-down, the best experience I’ve had ever with a dermatology office. The front desk staff was amazing over the phone and in person. Lia and Mia were professional, patient, friendly, and helpful. Whoever answers your phone and is the first person you see in an office makes a difference. Unfortunately, the majority of doctors offices today don’t have the kind of staff that this place has. Marissa in the back was very patient and thorough. I barely waited 2 minutes which was fantastic. Stella was a great nurse practitioner, patient with all my questions and did my body check with dignity with proper eyewear and lighting (that has never happened at my prior derms office). She provided a lot of helpful suggestions and a prescription for future use for a concern I have. She also cared about my medical history and ensuring my safety and skin health. If I needed to suggest what green flags to look for in a medical practice it would be everything this place is. The facility is also clean and kept up with. I can’t say anything negative at all! I’ve been so happy with my initial appointment and shared their information with other people. Thank you for a great first appointment and for being so much better than what’s out there. I was dreading this due to other practices I’ve been to but you exceeded my expectations thank you to your amazing team!

Daytona Beach, FL | In sunny Daytona Beach, Florida, the Residential Adolescent Program (also called RAP) is a place of hope for teenagers with addiction. It’s a specialized residential center for teens between the ages of 13 and 17. It’s part of SMA Healthcare, a big network of addiction and mental health treatment centers. Since it’s a residential center, your | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Personally, I went to RAP in the midst of an awful drug addiction and this place saved my life, going back onto the previous reply about how the staff didn’t treat us well can be very misinterpreted. I found that some of my fellow clients thought the staff would be mean or seem to not care about our mental stability but what they aren’t realizing is that the staff are harsh for a reason. They do it out of love and although it may seem as though they just don’t care. When the staff were somewhat “harsh” to me or I’d get in trouble there, THAT is when I would do the most changing. Future clients can’t just expect it to me sunshine and butterflies all of the time, this is rehab, you are trying to overcome drug addiction and to me, I would have never been able to do it without them. With that being said, I highly recommend the Residential Adolescences Program. To the parents of those who are suffering, don’t give up. This could be your child’s last chance.

Instead of feeling like I was in some scripted call-queue, it felt like talking to someone who genuinely cared and knew how confusing all this can feel. They didn’t press me to “sign up” right away — just helped me map out what my next step could look like. If you’re in that “what do I actually do next?” place, this helpline was a calming first step.

Daytona Beach, FL | Hearthstone Fellowship Foundation, founded in Daytona Beach, Florida, is a licensed drug rehab providing substance abuse services to individuals needing outpatient and inpatient drug and alcohol recovery treatment. Their addiction treatment center is operated by experienced clinicians with extensive experience treating drug and alcohol addiction. W | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I am required by the courts to attend meetings at Hearthstone Fellowship Foundation. At first I was angry and felt like I was being milked by the state and county. After three or four meetings my sentiments began to change and my addiction had become more and more obvious to me. As I began to accept my predicament, I nolonger was able to blame others or act as if it was all in their heads. Now several moths into the treatment offered by Hearthstone, I have opened up and started to change the destructive patterns dominating my life. I finally feel like I might stand a chance at real recovery.
None of this would of been possible without the guidance of one person, Gail Wall, M.S. She has went out of her way to help me even when no one else would listen or believe that I was trying. I've been plagued with many health problems and my attendance was very challenging but she trusted in what I had to say and gave me the helping hand that has led me to welcome Recovery for the first time in my 30 year descent into chemical dependency. Thank you Gail. You are literally the best!!!

Hearthstone has some truly amazing people who it’s obvious that their work means a lot to them. They truly truly want to help people who want it and allow people who need help to leverage them. They have guided me and continue to, and keep it 💯 % upfront and transparent and sincere when it comes to what is expected. If there is a perfect combination of professional but also on a personal level, they nail it. It may not be their official motto or formal bottom line but they definitely exude a “we will help you when you don’t know how to help yourself type mentality; just Keep showing up, stay honest and leverage us and we can help you get to clear horizons! Special thanks and acknowledgments to Miss Gail and Janet!
Miss Gail who runs groups that always have a focus but can be enjoyed and engaged in. She created a safe space for me come and talk, engaged and learn, and be myself , be the flawed human I am. I should
also mention her genuine interest in my life and progress as a person not just a counselor who checks off a progress sheet.
Miss Janet who has provided wise and judgement free counsel, in addition took the time out of her day without any notice to sit and talk with me for however long I needed when I lost my brother to an overdose January 11th of this year. Her insight and perspective were not only helpful (understatement) but gave me a deeper understanding and peace. I have so much gratitude for this very special place. I can’t say enough.. but think I already have! Thank you!
