I feel like it was a great place to go to after php. It gives you more freedom to be out in the real, with being accountable. Random u'as and breathalyzers. Also note that courses are 7 days a week and lunch is provided on Sunday. You will get a free buspass for an year also a gift card to walmart. I would recommend this place.

This is such a wonderful place. It truly changed. My life not only did they help me learn smart recovery CBT and DBT. It also helped me learn how life is such a blessing and my sobriety is the most important thing. I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.

This is a “no-frills”, last stop for someone who is desperate to make it to tomorrow. If you want sobriety, are out of options and are willing to go to any lengths to get it, Turning Point might work for you. Your success rate is commensurate with the amount of effort you are willing to expend, your ability to follow instructions, and the degree to which you are honest with yourself. This place saved my life.

I see alot of negative reviews about doctor Diana lopez. Honestly, i'm completely shocked because i've had nothing but a positive experience with her and suncoast medical. You need to understand they deal with alot of people. Suncoast helps people with no insurance, low income, or no income at all. Yes, sometimes you have to wait to be seen especially your first appointment. But it does get better. Once your stable on your meds and doing well.They will allow you to come back every couple of months to see the doctor. I suffer from bipolar and ever since I started going to Suncoast and taking medicine, my life has become so much easier. I am one of the low income people that cannot afford regular psychiatrist. And because of there services I'm getting better. They have a pharmacy in house which also offer low prices for non- insurance people. I say trust the process. Have some patience and get the help you need. Try smiling or tell the front desk worker to have a nice day and thank the pharmacy worker. I little bit of kindness goes a long way. Mama always said: "You catch more bees with honey then with vinegar."

When I first walked through the doors of Sophros, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. That rock bottom everyone talks about. I had been to my fair share of rehabs and treatment programs and somehow could not seem to get sobriety to stick. I was hopeless, alone, and scared. But this place changed that, and set my life on a new trajectory I didn’t think was possible. This place is truly one of a kind. I hit the jackpot when I was assigned Shannon as my therapist. You’ll see her mentioned a lot in these reviews, and for very good reason. To bluntly put it, she saved my life. And I’m not being dramatic when I say that. Her wit, compassion, and dedication is one of the main reasons I’ve made it this far. She taught me to not complicate the uncomplicated, to stop trying to outsmart my disease, and get out of my own way. Simple truths, that seemed impossible to grasp. The entire team at Sophros is made up of some of the most caring humans I’ve been blessed to encounter. They didn’t give up on me, especially when I felt like giving up on myself. Shannon, Veronica, Rajon, Laura, Luna, Drew, and everyone else, make this a truly wonderful healing place. I’ve been through PHP, IOP, and hope to continue on with OP when that time comes. Outstanding program! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. I was fortunate enough to stay in the new housing for the duration of PHP. It’s a good balance of freedom and accountability. As compared to being locked down like other PHPs I had considered. Sophros provided a number of different approaches in sessions to help keep everyone engaged. And my therapist Shannon was top notch. Definitely would recommend.

I have gone to many, many treatment centers in an attempt to adress my alcoholism. Countless. The staff at Sophros is unlike anything Iv'e encountered. They are not just a business, and we are.not just numbers. The individualized attention and care for our wellbeing is by far unmatched. I have the pleasure of having Shannon as my therapist, connecting dots and helping me see things that no other therapist has been able to do. Rayshawn, the senior therapist provides ART, a therapy I knew nothing about but honestly has changed my life in a big way. Tim, in charge of housing here, goes above and beyond for us everyday helping us set.ourselves up for success. Even the techs are amazing, Cam, Jaime and Tyler are always there to help. Top notch doesn't do it justice. I only wish I found them sooner.

June 2023, I attended Transformations and had a wonderful and very healing experience. I recently have celebrated 600 days sober from alcohol, which is what I went into rehab for. The staff was knowledgeable, respectful, and supportive. The living accommodations were top notch! It was a true home away from home feeling. I would not be where I am today without Transformations!

Saved my life. Went for a 90 day inpatient 12 years ago and haven't reentered another rehab since. Built great fundamentals to recovery and kept me long enough to get started. If I had only done 30 days I know I likely would have relapsed . I now am healthy and happy and have a trade skill, which is quite dangerous but I'm always clear of mind and haven't been injured for the entire 8 years I've been practicing my trade.

Laura, my therapist was awesome. She was very patient with me, I asked so many questions. She helped me to understand my problems and gave me tools for the future. She prepared me for a successful recovery. I've never tried yoga before but I took those classes and I learned how to stretch. I have a handicap with my hip and it really helped me with my pain and flexibility. I highly recommend coalition.

Footprints can either go one of two ways. You either feel blessed or you abuse the privileges and coast. Bougie rehab. If you have the money for the “beach houses” (housing fee) you’re in for a great time. Some people, mostly women, get blessed with the beach house if their insurance is good. I got blessed with two weeks at the beach with no money before they sent me to the inland housing which… everything is the same… you just can’t walk the beach whenever you want. Clinical runs the show. It’s actually very fun. There’s two women who carry the burden of PHP but it was so much fun. Silly stuff but like…I’m a persecuting peacock who views addiction as a disease model and I thrive in community. This may not make sense to you but it does to me. They blessed me with free housing for 4 weeks if I did IOP. I was able to move into my own place… yesterday… ten minutes from my job. For me I needed a safe place after PHP to re enter society… Danny at the Largo house had a huge heart and helped shepherd me around to meetings to get plugged in. And the gym. And protein powder. Sergio and I had a great time watching movies and going to meetings! I’ve never done detox to rez to PHP to IOP to “real world” But I did it. And Footprints held my hand until I jumped… And I landed just fine. Jesus is Lord. God Bless Footprints. And action!
