Hello my name is Adam. I came to Reign about a month ago. I came from NJ and enrolled to the treatment center because I was struggling with some mental health symptoms that were unmanageable with life and needed assistance with getting myself back on track. The admissions team was so helpful and supportive, they were there when I was making my 22 hour drive. Jake, Benzi, Justin, and Morgan were so supportive on my drive. When I arrived at the facility and during the duration of my stay Corey the primary therapist was very friendly and welcoming. He wasn t like normal therapists where you would have your 30 min session and you re out but he gave me as much time as I needed and let me use my phone and make calls as much as I wanted to do. Then there was Brantley the operations manager and he Was just the absolute best. I developed a great friendship with him and every night we had a thing where we watch movies together. Gina was a great group facilitator and had very informative groups. Overall I had an amazing life changing experience,

West Care’s A Turning Point clinic provides addiction recovery treatment programs for adults in Saint Petersburg, Florida. | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.

With over 100 years of service, they’ve helped millions of men and women overcome addiction and mental health conditions. You’ll benefit from a safe, stable living environment to grow while focusing on sobriety. One of the best parts i | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I will never forget my time at this precious place! I walked in broken, lost, pending criminal charges and a heart that needed purpose! A was always a believer. I had a good family that raised me from right and wrong. When I walked into the bubble, I did not know what to expect. It was tough at first, living in close quarters and working in the environment is not easy. It was a lot easier and nicer than where I was sleeping on the streets with nothing. Alone and miserable. I made not just friends, I met FAMILY that I will remember and love for the rest of my life! When I look back at my time at this center, I realize how much fun I was having. How much healing came into my life mentally and physically. Healing into my heart. I realized the people around me did not just want to just help me, they wanted to save my soul. They wanted me to be happy and the best version of me. They lifted me to a place of true self-worth and happiness I did not know. Growing up I was a aspiring professional athlete. I got hurt and realized my dreams we're not a reality. I joined the United States Army and serve my country overseas for over 3 years. I discharged honorably and came home. I started to isolate and party. It is a long story, I ended up with criminal charges for stealing to support my habit. I was court-ordered to this program. I met many of men who were there on their own free will. Either way, however you arrive. It just matters that you make it through the door and never give up. I have not been perfect since leaving and had my slips. I can say, I love my life and I am still fighting the good fight! Happy and connected! Never think you are alone. The people that operate the center have all gone through the program! They all have different experiences, lean on them as they lean on you! If you really want help, REALLY want it! Show up! Let God use the love of this place. It will take you to a place far greater than you could ever ask or imagine. It may be difficult to adjust in the beginning, there might be people half your age or double your age. I became family with all those I met. I am forever grateful for the precious time and the relationship I found with my higher power. The relationship I cherish so very much to this day almost 10 years later! You will work, that's what adults do! They will take you to fun places, maybe to a Lightning game or a Rays game as well. Maybe a concert or a spiritual retreat camp with sports, worship and fun! There will be negative people there who are not there for the right reasons. Put a gap in between yourself and those. Lean on the ones that are reflecting the light of sobriety and happiness. If you go, embrace it, all of it. The good with the bad! Do it for YOURSELF, you will have a time of your life. Trust in HIM. -JOSHUA 1:9- Thank you St. Pete ARC! Love all of you.

The Mustard Seen Inn has a long and venerated history. The Inn opened on April 15, 1987 at 505 Sixth Street South, St. Petersburg, in an old, two story firetrap of a building. The founder, Carole Atkinson, performed her duties from a wheelchair, typically working 16 hour days. Carole and a core group of passionate volunteers including Randy (Indiana), Donald (local) and Valerie (Palm Harbor) hustled each day to keep the doors open and the residents fed. Carole was the definition of resourceful. We collected dated foodstuffs, day old bread and expiring baked goods daily from Publix. Blankets, beds, mattresses, pot, pans, anything and everything, was donated, borrowed or purchased. The landlord was a local family that owned dry cleaning establishments. They gave the Inn many breaks on the rent, which we barely made each month. The Inn picked up residents from Pinellas County Jail, shuttled them to Inn, helped them get ID, jobs, teeth, clothing and sobriety. I believe it was 1989 when the Inn secured a HUD Demonstration Block Grant for transitional housing to insure their existence for another two years.Although the Inn has undergone several changes in location and management over the years, it is my hope to commemorate the many wonderful people that founded The Mustard Seed Inn nearly 37 years ago on more than thoughts and prayers, but on blood, sweat and tears as well as genuine compassion for those suffering from addiction. They made their vision a reality and provided succor and comfort to the thousands of residents, family and friends of the Inn.

My therapist Laura was very helpful. She taught me coping skills and helped me to overcome my past and to focus on the future and move forward. Ms Gigi was very down to earth and she's an inspiration; she has 12 years clean and if she can do it then I know that I can too!

Laura, my therapist was awesome. She was very patient with me, I asked so many questions. She helped me to understand my problems and gave me tools for the future. She prepared me for a successful recovery. I've never tried yoga before but I took those classes and I learned how to stretch. I have a handicap with my hip and it really helped me with my pain and flexibility. I highly recommend coalition.
