I wish I could give this more than five stars. I arrived at mending fences being open-minded. I had no idea the impact this would have on my life in such a positive way. I came to this looking for help for alcohol and found I really needed the help with mental health care. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the surroundings are so Serene and peaceful. There are no amount of words I could give for the gratitude I have for what this place is giving me back to me in my life. I am truly grateful. To me there is no amount of money that could ever give me what I retained here at mending fences. This place has been absolutely PRICELESS! I highly recommend if there's anyone that needs help, a loved one or friend this would be the place for their healing journey. I finally feel I have my life back.

I went to Mending Fences to get help with my debilitating anxiety. From the time I arrived at the facility I was met with friendly and compassionate staff. The admission process was very professional, very timely and the staff made me feel safe. Concerning the program, Mending Fences focused on a personal track of a healing process designed specifically for me. I was assigned a Therapist (shout-out to Jeremy) who patiently worked with me to guide me through the healing process. Every therapists that led groups were dedicated to making learning different modalities wether - CBT, ART, OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES, EXERCISE AND MUSIC - Fun and engaging! From playing volleyball, shooting basketball hoops, bon fires and even an open mic night! Unfortunately, due to a health issue I had to leave the program - this was very disheartening for me - but the Psychiatrist , therapists and staff made the exiting process a great experience for me! Just to mention, these people try to accommodate me so that I could continue the program - it amazed me how much effort they put in - thanks 🙏 One last thing the facility and the grounds were beautiful! One last thank you to all the staff, techs , therapists and Doctors who helped me 🙏🙏 Rex

SUPER AWESOME PLACE THAT LIVES UP TO THERE WORD TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER THAN WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVED ALL THE STAFF ARE EXCEPTIONAL AT ALL THE JOBS. JEREMY, MY VETERAN THERIPIST WAS VERY GOOD AT SHOWING ME THE RIGHT ROAD TO RELIEVE MY SYMPTOMS SYMPTOMS OF SOCIAL ANXIETY AND TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON. THE FOOD AND KITCHEN STAFF WAS AWESOME. I recently saw Dr. Oliva and her staff and I've seen a lot of Doctors over the years but very few have been as awesome as this. Virgina, the Doctors Program Director has been extremely helpful with many diffrent obsticals and she has gone above and beyond to help with everything. She even helped me out during Thanksgiving while she was with her family on the road. Dr. Oliva has been extremly helpful and isn't just there to call the shots but she listens and wants to hear you out and make sure you're happy with you're quality of care. I have nothing but respect and good things to say about Perspectives and staff. My situation was a little diffrent than most but regardless these people care about you!

Go to new season and I know it'll be the best thing you ever did they just continue to get better the new stuff is awesome The new coordinator He's on top of everything and my new counselor Melanie she just rocks it I don't know how I don't know how she has so much care for her patients and will work so hard for them and I like my last counselor but I've not seen this kind of devotion in a counselor besides Julio which I've discovered to be tremendously a helpful person in my life his groups just make you be able to get through the week and there's more than one reason to go to groups you know but the reason mainly is to stay clean and get clean and I called it a life changer now it's a game changer because it's completely changed the way I play my game and I get scared of change of new stuff but new seasons they've got it covered because they hire good people so no matter who you get you're in good hands. I urge people who are trying to decide to go or not and have that scale tipping just tip it on in all you got to do is just take that baby step and then the next baby step after that and then it won't be so hard I just don't want to hear any more about these deaths or families lives being ruined it's it's sad and it took me a long time to see it from the other side it's new season who got me to the other side Melanie she rocks it and Mr Tim he seems very on top of it very professional like I said I just do put this on here because I hope if anybody's facing their recovery on the reviews do it you know do it for you and do it at new season even if you don't get Melanie all the other counselors are good Julio I know he's an excellent counselor I know all of the counselors are great people

I don't know why people go to places like this when you can go to Dr bellum in dunnellon Florida and get a script of Suboxone total pay maybe $250 for the month for 30 pills that you can literally take a quarter a day so one month last 4 months I heard it's like 20 a day for methadone that doesn't even last 24 hours and you're not getting drug tested every damn day and you're not being treated like a junky

i can't thank this place enough, they helped my achieve my goal. They are a true Miracle and some people blame them because they can't get it. If you want it they have it, but you have to open yourself up tp chance, as Change is Growth.

I graduated the phoenix house in 2019. The program doesn't focus on Just addictions, but the behavior behind addictions. Unfortunately, most of the people that I went with did not make it because they did not want it bad enough. But out of multiple programs that i've been to, this one will have an everlasting impact on me And my life. I sincerely thank the staff for giving me the best fifteen months.I've ever had. Beyond grateful for my two visits here at FRC. I am now coming up just shy of two years sober. I did my two stints at the old facility. The staff is extremely welcoming, the programming is great, and both times met great friends I am still in contact with today. Making the call to get a ride back to FRC after a month long binge, withdrawing in a fetal position on my floor, was the best choice I have made. From spiraling out of control and loosing it all, to building up a new prestigious career, brand new life, and most importantly, my peace of mind. I needed a break. A vacation from the lifestyle I was living. A trip back to reality. I couldn’t bear to live one more hour. FRC gave me it all. Get the hardest part over with. Make the call, you wont regret it.

I can't recommend FRC enough. This organization has truly been a life-changer and life-saver for me. My journey with FRC began in 2007 when I was a patient receiving care. I was at the lowest point in my life after years of substance use and a near fatal suicide attempt. Under the care of Dr. Teitelbaum, The support I found there was instrumental in introducing me to recovery, and I am incredibly grateful for the nearly 18 years of sobriety I have today because of that start. To come full circle and later spend over 12 years working on the incredible FRC Team has given me a unique perspective. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to witness firsthand the profound, life-changing work that happens there every single day. My appreciation for FRC, its mission, and its dedicated staff is immense. Unfortunately, I am starting a new job in another city to be closer to my family, but I will always carry FRC with me. If you or a loved one is seeking help, you are in the best possible hands.

"It works, if you work it, so work it, you're worth it!" I came to the Florida Recovery Center a broken man, suicidal, no self-confidence, and a great lack of a sense of purpose and worth. Through intensive individual therapy, group therapy, recreation therapy, in-depth 12 Step assignments and application, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), a multitude of informative and illuminating lectures (medical, recreational, spiritual, relational), and a greatly supportive community of people all working on the same goal of sobriety and sanity, I have been able to begin my life anew. I am now 90 days sober for the first time in 30 years thanks to FRC (Florida Recovery Center)!!!! I would not be alive to write this review had they not believed in me and, likewise, I had not believed and trusted the process. YOU must surrender to the process, be vulnerable, and be willing to choose LIFE for yourself - a good life without dragging around the heavy burdens of guilt, shame, and regret.....BUT YOU have to be honest with yourself and them or it probably won't work. IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT SO WORK IT YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!!

I don’t leave reviews. Like ever. So that’s indicative of how overwhelmingly grateful I am for my time at The Guest House. I arrived a shell of myself - scared, sick, lost, and completely worn down. I initially had the intention of only staying for 30 days - if even that. Once I dove into the work it became apparent that in that time I’d only be scratching the surface. I ended up staying the full 90. The staff and community loved me back to life. I have never felt so safe, accepted and worthy. The therapists are incredible. The staff are so warm and kind and supportive. It’s been almost a year since leaving and I miss being there so much. I would send a loved one that was struggling there in a heartbeat. There is nowhere like the Guest House. They will help you find yourself again, rediscover the pieces of yourself you lost along the way - what seemed to be your weaknesses will be revealed as strengths. AND you’ll make friends for life! If you’re thinking about it - just go. It will be the greatest gift you ever give yourself.

The Guest House is a very special place. They really know what they are doing when it comes to treating trauma. The entire staff is excellent, very caring. Medical staff were wonderful and so helpful. I highly recommend this place if you are struggling with addiction, alcoholism and/or trauma. This place changed my life for the better. Hospital is clean. Staff is professional. There are many groups, gym, time outside time, etc. Unfortunately when I went voluntarily from an emergency room I had an infection and two prescriptions. I was sent there in a cab from silver springs instead of an ambulance and completely forgot that I had an infection and two prescriptions which I am going to get tomorrow after 10 days. I feel better mentally though

Metamorphosis literally saved my life. I was court ordered to be at meta through drug court. The rules and 'tattling' is very contradictory to what addicts are used to. The purpose is to learn to hold other accountable for their actions. AA and NA did nothing for me. Bridgehouse did nothing for me. Meta was the only place to recognize what was causing me to use and address that. I graduated in 2012. I am still clean. Almost 9 years now. Recovery is different for everyone but hold on to the 'keeping secrets' and 'not snitching' behaviors of my using life wouldn't have helped me get this far.

Easy to fill out application, after 8 days even though last week was Thanksgiving I have yet to receive a call back. I have since went to the Citizens Service Center of Ocala and gotten further help with my situation. I'm seeking shelter at this moment. The BNET program is an extraordinary blessing. My daughter has been part of it for a year, and thanks to Dr. Adkinson, therapist Patricia, and Wendy Conley, the Behavioral Health Network Manager, who work effortlessly as a team in her best interest, her progress has been exceptional. This program is outstanding, and I am immensely grateful for its existence. You have a profound positive impact on children and families. Your help, dedication, and hard work genuinely transform lives. This place has saved my life twice and it’s free. The tough nature of the place is ridiculously overstated. Most of that comes with the fact that people of different ages are together in the same room. This place helps people with guts get back on their feet, it’s their job to be a bit tough on you but they really aren’t. I will always be grateful to this place. People that insult it just don’t understand that you have to change you and sometimes you need to be uncomfortable.

Nurse Connie really went the extra mile to help me at a crucial point in my recovery. Mrs. Maxine was a fantastic 1 on 1 counselor and helped me achieve a spiritual awakening of the "educational variety" while working steps with a sponsor. Ms. Bobbie was a ray of sunshine and Mr. Randy was a wise mediator. Despite a rather unfortunate discharge it was overall a good experience. This place gives you a good opportunity. You got to be ready. And be mature, but if you reached that point and you seriously are ready I recommend this program. It's hard for someone who doesn't quite understand the addiction or just new to their addiction. It's a struggle but it's a great place for someone who is really ready

I previously reviewed this practice, and this is to add on to my initial findings. The staff and all personnel working there are truly five star, as I stated previously!!!! However , I injured myself and needed an appointment last Monday. My Dr. Dr London was enjoying a well deserved vacation, and I was asked if I would like to see Dr. Gerard Casale. I agreed and I am here to say after meeting and being examined, I was so happy that Dr. Casale was able to exactly diagnose the problem, and he prescribed the proper medication for the proper time, and the proper strength!!!! It has been a week now, and I’m almost back to normal!!!! Dr. Casale said it would take 7 to 10 days. Being older at 62 years of age, I’ll take the full 10 days. I’m in no hurry!!!!!! Simed medical has done it again!!!!! When my five star Dr. Heather London is on vacation, no problem, as long as I can see my five star Dr Gerard Casale, I am very happy and very well taken care of !!!!! I am so pleased with the Super Dr. Gerard Casale, and there is no practice that I will go to for my primary care other than this Simed medical, because I only allow myself to be treated by the best physicians!!!!!!!! Dr. London and Dr. Casale are the best in the business. Thank you Dr. Casale and, I am so proud and honored to be your patient, and the gratitude I feel for you, and Dr. London, and all the staff is so strong, I am very unique patient, and I am very knowledgeable medically. Because of this I feel I have the credentials to write these reviews. What I have presented to you is actual fact, I have to be examined and treated by ONLY Dr. London or Dr. Casale , because they understand respect and honor the needs of a patient, who is like no other patient. Trust me, I am very different than the majority of our population, and I need to be treated like a very different and special individual!!!! These two doctors are on a scale of one to ten, they are both ten,at treating me correctly and then properly. In Ocala, I had major problems with 2 other practitioners, and now I have finally found a home!!!!!

I don’t have enough words to express how much The Refuge has helped me. After frequenting through over a dozen mental health treatment centers and rehabs, there are only two I would recommend to someone I cared about (or anyone in general). One of those two is The Refuge. I was met there with so much kindness, care and consideration of my wants and needs by every single one of the BHA’s (behavioral health associates) and every one of the Clinical Staff. My personal team consisted of Ellen Mendez, case manager and Caitlin Downer, therapist, and couldn’t have gotten luckier with them. Although Caitlin is leaving the facility because of her physical move, there isn’t one therapist there I have a bad thing to say about and that doesn’t put their all into each clients treatment. Shelley, the clinical director does a great job at managing the program and creating ideal schedules for the clients. She is necessarily stern in order to keep everyone (facilitators included) and the program in check, but cares immensely for all her clients. Everyone there made me feel comfortable and cared for. I could not be happier with my experience there and am forever grateful to The Refuge for all the help I received.
