Hello my name is Adam. I came to Reign about a month ago. I came from NJ and enrolled to the treatment center because I was struggling with some mental health symptoms that were unmanageable with life and needed assistance with getting myself back on track. The admissions team was so helpful and supportive, they were there when I was making my 22 hour drive. Jake, Benzi, Justin, and Morgan were so supportive on my drive. When I arrived at the facility and during the duration of my stay Corey the primary therapist was very friendly and welcoming. He wasn t like normal therapists where you would have your 30 min session and you re out but he gave me as much time as I needed and let me use my phone and make calls as much as I wanted to do. Then there was Brantley the operations manager and he Was just the absolute best. I developed a great friendship with him and every night we had a thing where we watch movies together. Gina was a great group facilitator and had very informative groups. Overall I had an amazing life changing experience,

I can not express how grateful and impressed I am with the care I received in the ER at Atmore Community Hospital. This morning (12/7/2024) I was brought to Atmore Community Hospital ER by my friend after waking up in the early morning hours with severe abdominal pain and vomiting blood. Due to my extensive medical history I knew I needed immediate medical attention. As an ER Nurse with 21 years experience in level one trauma centers to smaller community hospital, the care and level of skills and competencies was beyond anything I could have imagined! This facility and team truly made me feel like I could trust them with my life, which is exactly the scenario I was in this morning. I can not say enough about how grateful I am to Atmore Community Hospital! This is the exactly the kind of facility I not only trust my care with, but moreover a facility I would be honored to work for! However due to the seriousness of my illness, Atmore ER staff had to transfer me to USA Medical Center in Mobile for higher level of care and services not available at Atmore. Every moment I spent in the ER at Atmore Community Hospital I continuously monitored, pain and nausea levels were assessed and treated!!! Again words can not express how thankful I am to the Emergency Department staff at Atmore Community Hospital!A VERY SPECIAL AND PERSONAL THANK YOU TO:Dr. O-Gorman MD (ER Attending Physician)Whitney BSN-RN (ER Nurse)Jenna BSN-RN (ER Nurse)Again my sincerest Thanks,Jeremy RaslerNA-C,CCT-C,CMT-C,CRAT-C,CVT,CES-A,CES-P

Earlier this month, we were visiting my in-laws in Atmore when our five-year-old son had a trampoline accident and sliced open his bottom lip. We rushed to this E.R., praying the whole way there that he'd receive excellent care. God certainly came through that night. Nurse Sydney was *so* kind and compassionate, and Dr. Lee was very patient and gentle with our little Isaiah. Their empathy and unrushed demeanors helped alleviate so much of the stress from this traumatic event. As a nurse myself, I walked away thoroughly impressed. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of our son!

I came to 12 Oaks depressed, angry, and terrified. I knew I was done with dope but I didn't know how to stay that way. But in this beautiful environment with a staff that truly cares enabled me to find and begin to love myself again. The yoga therapy was really helpful with my anxiety as well as getting closer to a higher power. My therapist helped me get in touch with myself. She and Ashley, helped me to see what I needed to work on and to be more kind to myself. The other clients showed me that I could feel safe to have real friendship. I am so grateful to have a place like 12 Oaks that allowed me to recover in a way that worked for me. And I'm more than grateful to have been able to watch the sunrise on the beach every morning and smoke cigarettes! You guys rock! Keep caring and loving us til we can love ourselves.

I recently completed 30 day residential treatment on Jan 20th 2025. I’ve been in numerous recovery centers, in multiple states, continuously since September 2024. Let me just say, 12 Oaks is definitely one of the best! It’s actually organized and ran quite well. The staff genuinely act like they care…from the therapists and case managers to the kitchen and housekeeping crews! The techs Twyla and Ms. Tammy will forever have a special place in my heart. (They like to look tough lol, but they have genuine caring souls.) Prospective clients … seriously, give this place a shot. It’s worth it! They offer yoga and meditation a couple days a week, also recreation therapy. You can walk on the beach and pier, play corn hole or basketball. After your 8th day you’re allowed to have your cell phone for one hour per day. Nightly peer lead AA/NA meetings. Bible study and they also take you to a wonderful nondenominational church every Sunday if you chose to go! This is the only place I’ve been that immediately starts working on your aftercare plans for housing and setting up aftercare MAT doctor appointments. They will also take you to the DMV to get your ID if needed. I can’t recommend 12 Oaks enough. Remember, what you get out of recovery depends on what you put into it! Put in the work, participate in groups, and attend extra meetings! Follow the rules, be respectful and appreciative you’re even given this opportunity to change your life and work on healing yourself. & I promise you, your time in rehab will go a lot smoother. Thanks again 12 Oaks! - Chelsea (Bug) & Arthur

I transferred around Fl quite a bit the last couple of yesrs and the panhandle area is without a doubt the most in need of quality MAT. THE ONE IN Panama city is the worst, long lines no phasing past 6 and you are treated like a criminal. Bei.g a phase 27 that was out of the question for me so I enrolled here. The people were great, the clinic was efficient clean and friendly my issues were that it was over 200 miles round trip and the biggest they stand there and watch you pee. I have shy bladder and was to the point of having to use a catheter because it was taking an hour or more to do a urine sample.I transferred to Tallahassee clinic the drive was a little shorter but they just pat you down before a urine test so that made it way easier BUT the Tallahassee clinic has huge turnover and currently just 2 councelors, they are more interested in squeezing money than helping even at phase 27 they want you to attend 2 groups a month, 4 so called physicals a year and so on...dont get me wrong, the counselors are good and want to help but it is obvious that they have thier hands tied by corporate. If lakeview could use cameras pat downs or anything other than the stand and stare method for tests i would transfer bsck despite the extra drive...yall PLEASE give that some thought i know I speak for others ss well...you have a really good clinic with really good people you shouldnt abuse patients and staff with this archaic practice.

As the parent of a child struggling with addiction, I can t express enough how grateful I am for the incredible care my son received at Gulf Breeze Recovery. From the very first contact, the staff was understanding, kind, and professional, always making us feel supported and informed. They created a treatment plan tailored to my child s specific needs, and we were impressed by the genuine compassion and dedication of the therapists and counselors. My son was given the tools to not only manage his addiction, but to heal emotionally and mentally as well. The facility itself was welcoming, comfortable, and peaceful, offering a safe and nurturing environment for recovery. Communication was consistent, and I always felt like I was a part of the process, which meant so much during such a difficult time. I m thrilled to say that thanks to GBR, my son is now on a positive path to recovery. Revision! After calming down I m choosing to redo my review. The lackadaisical efforts of one shouldn t reflect on the entirety of this place. Fact is this place has changed my life in a short time for the better. The medical staff is top shelf, nurses at the windows are great. The problem I had was that since starting this program I ve done everything text book as im asked when I m asked. They were short staffed due to vacation time, sick time, and in the process of hiring more staff. So I checked in with a wait time of 40 minutes 7:00 A.M. I was flagged. So I did exactly what i was told to do in the last class I attended take homes and I emailed my counselor 7:17 a.m. asking her to remove the flag so I could dose and I would make out 8:45 meeting. 8:42 am I get called to the window 1 hr and 42 min after arrivel. Window nurse says I still have my flags. I got to my 8:45 am meeting. 8:57 am door opens. I told my counselor what happened and i could only do my treatment plan if I could go from that to the dosing window immediately after because I would be late to work. I was late the day before because for the same issues with staffing I was here 2.5 hours. She said she couldn t do that. When I ve seen people walked to the front of the line by a counselor to dose for reasons out of their control causing them to miss their dose spot in line. I ve since requested a counselor change and chose to stay here. One major reason is Ms Joy helping me out and showing me the proper channels to navigate through my mishap in a calm and courteous way.OriginalThis place is garbage! Everybody s gotta go by the rules but the counselors. Be prepared to wait 2.5-3 hours every day no matter what!

This is a really good place if you are serious about wanting to recover. There is a lot of freedom In this program seeings you can leave everyday to work so I would say that this is not the best choice of program if you are coming straight off of the drugs you should pry go to a higher level of care first then here. When your on campus it is pretty structured not a lot of free time they definitely don t just want your money as others have said they Hardily take anything that compare to the services and food and shelter they provide speaking of witch there is an amazing cook there Mike he prepares all the food which is of 5 star quality a lot of variety and always good. Staff really cares for you here they want to see you succeed really it all depends on what attitude you bring to the table that determines how sussceful and good your stay here will be. Everyone here fussing about EP should consider these people you complaining about get paid little to care for your loved one and usually are dealing with a crisis. If it takes 10 minutes before they can get to the phone, trust and believe it s not because they re relaxing in their office ignoring you. It s because they are doing things like helping someone stop banging their head on the wall. Your phone call just isn t that important.

My daughter was inpatient here during a mental health crisis. She has struggled since about the age of 12 and has been hospitalized numerous times in various facilities (various states)- she is now an adult. Her diagnosis are complex and treatment resistant (for the most part). Her stay here was beneficial with therapist, physicians, and most all providers showing care and empathy. Jenna (the charge nurse I believe), my daughter spoke very fondly of. She showed great care towards all the patients. Addy (sp), a mental health tech was also awesome. My daughter also mentioned Ryan was very kind - and listened. These traits are so important in all aspects of healthcare. There was one issue with a tech working mornings on March 11th in the adult 2 area. This tech had a very rude and almost had a combative attitude. It has no place in this setting. She was a heavier set african american woman with short hair (she did not catch her name)- she was not kind, she was loud, and barked orders as if it were a prison (daughters perception, she has never been arrested). At one point, my daughter said the tech had accosted a patient about using the phone during group and a therapist (I believe she said) had to intervene and tell the tech she allowed it and to back off (basically - stop that behavior). This was the only person my daughter said had a bad attitude. I would hope it was a bad day, because the description of her behavior went beyond what I call clinical efficiency where providers work fast, efficiently - and without thought of emotions. BLUF - this wasn't someone who was not just nice, she came across as unkind - which is different.I was able to observe a smaller african american female tech (I did not catch her name) interacting with patients and who was very sweet on my visit. She directed me to the enclosed nurses station for help with a question. My interactions were brief, but the facility was clean - orderly, very good as far as inpatient mental health facilities go. All in all, everyone (except the one tech) was kind and helpful - and this is how helping those with mental health issues should be. The psychiatrist my daughter saw even spoke to my daughter about why she should stop smoking/vaping - which I appreciated. They provided her with nicotine gum prescription and resources to try to quit. While she has not quit, she did pick up the nicotine gum and said she will try to pull back and reduce her smoking a little at a time. This was a win - small changes.Overall, my hope is that the one woman (angry tech) was having a bad day, but even still, kindness and empathy for others is paramount in healthcare. People are never in a hospital because they are functioning efficiently or optimally - be it physical or mental. Thank you to all the staff! My family is very grateful and IF something else happens, we know where to turn.

My stay here was really nice! Better than any other psych hospital. They let me choose my lunch and dinner, provided group therapies through the day, and really listened to all my problems and concerns. I want to give special kudos to Ryan, Jenna, Addy, and Kaci for making my stay amazing. There was also a weekend therapist who was incredibly nice as well, although I can t remember his name. I was fortunate to get my own room. Facility was clean as well. Overall, I feel like I got the help I needed at Baptist behavioral health unit. I wish I had got everyone s name to shout out all the staff, but I am super bad with names. Thank you for being a place of compassion during a dark period in my life. I hope I never have to be bad enough to go back, but if I do need help again, Baptist will be my first choice.

mom of adolescence admitted, POV review. For starters we have the privilege of having 2 insurances. Unfortunately It can make a difference. My teen was having a mental health crisis. Admitted 12 days adolescence wing. 1st week communication was 5 stars. Then I had to request updates. Day 7, I requested to speak to the Dr, He spoke to us together on day 10. He did apologize for the delay & spent 30 min discussing progress & what discharge & Outpatient would looked like.He was able to get help & diagnosis during his stay.Every med administered was discussed with me 1st.They don't like to force meds unless necessary. This place is very structured & runs on a schedule. Daily visits M-F 4-5pm & Sat/Sun 1:30-3pm.My advice to parents, write a timeline of events that lead up to being admitted. Then keep a log of every time you speak(phone or in person) to a nurse, Dr, your kid. This will help you keep track of things.Overall I was impressed with how this facility helped my son.We had a issue with the medication sent to the pharmacy after discharge. Took 2 calls to fix the issue.Nurse apologized for their mistake.I hope mmy son never has to return, if he has another crisis, we will request this place. To parents of someone in here, support your loved one, advocate for them & hang in there... yall will get through this

I had to go through the SAP program to return to work. I was in a time crunch due to some other things going on. She got me in, same day, and was the absolute best I could have asked for.If you re doing the sap program, I highly recommend Ms. Dawson. She was down to earth. Extremely normal, not what you d expect from a Psychiatrist. (At least for me)

I will say that when I learned that it was a nonprofit set up I was apprehensive, However over my 60+ years I have been to four or five different licensed Counselors, and one nonprofit as well.I found the Individuals providing I intake there was a rather condescending less than friendly, or I should say less than professional never underestimate someone on the other side of the desk everybody s got something to talk about lucky you in any case I continued on as a result of my Insurance I had no other shorts today. I am thrilled that I did. The counselor That I was placed with has been the most help I ve ever ExperiencedMary is patient,,professional, with a nice friendly vibe. So, hang there through the process until you end up where you need to be and you may find things to be different with the business side of things. One thing I did notice as I looked back I felt insulted during the intake, It was Reinforced that what was said During my intake was not necessary. So not a good vibe, Also sometimes when we would rather not be vulnerable. So be Patient with yourself and some people .. that s just who they are. :)Give this place a chance..

I know that some people here are not the most helpful, but you will find that everywhere in life. In my experience, I ve been fortunate enough to have dealt with the kindest people here. Mrs Maggie Kellar is the sweetest soul I ve had the chance to meet, and the front office ladies are always so helpful and supportive, especially Ms Tracy and the other lady at the front (I m not sure of her name but I spoke with her again today 1/23/25 and she s just so precious). I am so grateful to have them, as it s not easy going to therapy or anything like that so it s comforting to know they care about the patients and they aren t just doing a job each day. Thank yall!

Dr. Moore is an excellent surgeon. He is also a rare doctor in today's world. He is compassionate, has a great bedside manner and a good sense of humor. The office is very professional; appointments are on time. Brittany, his PA is great. My husband also had recent surgery with him and shares my opinion. We both highly recommend Dr. Moore.
