I want to sing the praises of the providers who facilitated this workshop. From the initial gatherings, information sharing and tour on Friday, everything felt seemless. The staff were so warm and welcoming, I felt instantly at ease . Gulf Breeze Recovery is a beautiful facility and it is obvious that great care is taken to maintain it. Shay is a natural leader, speaker and was always equipped with more than enough information for any and all questions . Her sense of humor was so appreciated and I’m thinking it is probably legendary.😁 Heather has the confidant presence and answers at the ready to instill a sense of “ all is well here, as well as making sure everyone was informed and comfortable along the way. Everyone seemed fine changing hats and doing whatever was necessary to make sure everything rolled out well. Of course I am a big fan of Dr. E and it makes it hard to be objective but I felt also that he made everyone feel so comfortable and broke down the information given in a way that we could understand easily. I personally found the entire weekend very helpful and interesting. Of course, having a loved one of ours in your care made it particularly special. The setting and accommodations are beautiful. The food is healthy and prepared by professional chefs. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable about all kinds of substance abuse. The intake specialist is extremely helpful and goes out of her way to assist. The family is treated with dignity and invited to be involved with their loved one while there. Our loved one expressed gratitude for what the entire staff did to help him in his recovery. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. But by it happening i have met some of the most wonderful people in my life at this clinic. The most God sent individuals!! Miss Tonja has been here since day one and Amber. Miss Amber and Miss Tonja are my life. If they were to ever leave this location ohh my!! I know because of their help and dedication I will never relapse, I can now say that with full confidence, but it sure would not be the same here without them. Never. Not once did either of them turn me away and there were times that I definitely would have turned myself away but they didn't. They fought not only for my well being but my soul, my family, my children. They also, with my permission (they never do anything without permission from you), even involved my mother with my treatment. & that is something I truly love. My mother is my everything, my best friend, so her opinions, feelings, and thoughts matter to me. Theres nothing in this life my mother doesn't know about me. Just as Miss Amber and Tonja. I can honestly say that throughout the past 14+ years that I have been here (note, I choose to stay here. I don't have too) a ton has happened and my choices has caused tons of hurt and heartaches but I am no longer there anymore. & neither do you have to live that horrible life anymore. The Annual blood test showed I had Prostate Cancer, the urology doctor offered me two options to get rid of the cancer, I did 8 weeks of Radiation therapy and it worked. Been Cancer free for about a year now. But ED issues, sucks. I am disappointed with the Dentist, got dentures versus full mouth implants, so probably go to Turkey to get them. Getting a Primary Care visit is about 5 months away really sucks. I am mad that denial of Tinnitus, Gerd, PTSD, back in 2002 and 2008 or 2009, since I have this issues still today, everyday. By far this facility is 10 times more professional,quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems,but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. I have actually worked at different VA hospitals and clinics over the years helping take care of veterans, but this is the first time I have gotten to experience the VA as a patient. With my experience within the VA Healthcare System, I know there are good facilities, and some bad ones. The clinic in Monroeville is exceptional! The people within the VA clinics are what makes them or breaks them. The entire staff at Monroeville, from the front desk and office staff to the nurses and providers, they are truly some of the best people in the VA system, and are to be commended for what they do.

I just want to share my personal experience while recently attending a Family Weekend Workshop. I want to sing the praises of the providers who facilitated this workshop. From the initial gatherings, information sharing and tour on Friday, everything felt seemless. The staff were so warm and welcoming, I felt instantly at ease . Gulf Breeze Recovery is a beautiful facility and it is obvious that great care is taken to maintain it. Shay is a natural leader, speaker and was always equipped with more than enough information for any and all questions . Her sense of humor was so appreciated and I’m thinking it is probably legendary.😁 Heather has the confidant presence and answers at the ready to instill a sense of “ all is well here, as well as making sure everyone was informed and comfortable along the way. Everyone seemed fine changing hats and doing whatever was necessary to make sure everything rolled out well. Of course I am a big fan of Dr. E and it makes it hard to be objective but I felt also that he made everyone feel so comfortable and broke down the information given in a way that we could understand easily. I personally found the entire weekend very helpful and interesting. Of course, having a loved one of ours in your care made it particularly special. Thank you to Shay’s husband who made sure Shay had everything that was needed and was able to laugh at himself on occasion when Shay threw him under the bus . ( In a kind way of course :) The fact that you all care enough to do this on a weekend says everything we need to know about the care extended to our loved ones while recovering in your care and I am grateful. My loved one just completed a 60 day program at Gulf Breeze Recovery, in Gulf Breeze Florida, and the experience was beyond our expectations. The setting and accommodations are beautiful. The food is healthy and prepared by professional chefs. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable about all kinds of substance abuse. The intake specialist is extremely helpful and goes out of her way to assist. The family is treated with dignity and invited to be involved with their loved one while there. Our loved one expressed gratitude for what the entire staff did to help him in his recovery. He has expressed much gratitude for having the experience and privilege to have been at Gulf Breeze Recovery. Many thanks to all there. Thank you to everyone.

I cannot speak to the effectiveness of the program because my son was unable to complete it due to a health crisis. However, I can speak to the kindness, patience, flexibility, and overwhelming desire of the entire staff to help my son through a very difficult situation. At every hurdle they were willing to work with us to find a resolution. Shelly, Monica, Nicole and MANY others went above and beyond in supporting us. I’ve been on the program for 12 years, I ve had 3 awesome counselors. I stayed with one for 9 years, without her I wouldn’t have made it. She was in recovery herself, so She understood me. It is pretty bad right now, with the employee turnover rate, and organization with the Hurricane season. But with anything there is good and bad. I am sure they will get it back together soon.People need to understand that they are highly critiqued by federal laws. But as long as you do what your supposed to, you will not have any problems.

Let me first start off by saying this place has helped to save my life but the actually people here, the employees, like the councilors such as Miss Tonja, Mr. Larry, and the head honcho, lol, Miss Amber, now they have actually saved my life. They are a true blessing from God. If it wasn't for them, God, my mother, and my kids I wouldn't be here today. No lie. They have never once turned me away. They have been here through my very worst days to now my best days. You know growing up i never thought I would have ever even come close to having any addictions such as these street drugs. Always thought my addiction would have been makeup or high heels, but you know noone when they are little claims that they wanna be an addict when they grow up... unfortunately, it just happens. But by it happening i have met some of the most wonderful people in my life at this clinic. The most God sent individuals!! Miss Tonja has been here since day one and Amber. Miss Amber and Miss Tonja are my life. If they were to ever leave this location ohh my!! I know because of their help and dedication I will never relapse, I can now say that with full confidence, but it sure would not be the same here without them. Never. Not once did either of them turn me away and there were times that I definitely would have turned myself away but they didn't. They fought not only for my well being but my soul, my family, my children. They also, with my permission (they never do anything without permission from you), even involved my mother with my treatment. & that is something I truly love. My mother is my everything, my best friend, so her opinions, feelings, and thoughts matter to me. Theres nothing in this life my mother doesn't know about me. Just as Miss Amber and Tonja. I can honestly say that throughout the past 14+ years that I have been here (note, I choose to stay here. I don't have too) a ton has happened and my choices has caused tons of hurt and heartaches but I am no longer there anymore. & neither do you have to live that horrible life anymore. I highly recommend that you come to this very location and talk to them because they are not here for just the money. They are mainly here for you and your treatment, your wellbeing, your life, your family, your children, even your soul. YOU!! You can tell these people anything and everything and I promise you they will not judge you, they will not hold it against you. They will help you grow. They will help you become that person you were before your addiction. Or if you font even wanna be that person you were before the addiction than they can help you to be someone new and better!! Remember, there is always a way!! Always!! Don't ever let anyone tell you that there isn't or that it isn't possible because if I can do it than I know you can. Remember addiction does not discriminate. Addiction doesn't care if you are poor or rich, or if you are a doctor, lawyer, homeless, on disability, work for the state, a teacher, a customer service representative, it doesn't matter. Addiction doesn't care how old you are either. Addiction doesn't care about your skin color, your health concerns, none of that. The only thing addiction cares about is taking everything and everyone away from you and it will. If you allow it to. Don't allow the devil that pleasure anymore. Don't. Come to Montgomery Metro Treatment Center and speak to Miss Amber, Mr. Larry, Miss Tonja, anyone and get your life back. Remember anything is possible as long as you have God on your side and believe and TRY!! You will he surprised at just how powerful a prayer can be prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. The VA front desk are very helpful in directions. The Staff here are very friendly and helpful, very kind and caring. Some of The Doctors are also friendly, helpful, kind, caring; but think they have lots of patients or VA veterans under them, so they’re very busy. The Annual blood test showed I had Prostate Cancer, the urology doctor offered me two options to get rid of the cancer, I did 8 weeks of Radiation therapy and it worked. Been Cancer free for about a year now. But ED issues, sucks. I am disappointed with the Dentist, got dentures versus full mouth implants, so probably go to Turkey to get them. Getting a Primary Care visit is about 5 months away really sucks. I am mad that denial of Tinnitus, Gerd, PTSD, back in 2002 and 2008 or 2009, since I have this issues still today, everyday. I have to get NEXUS letters now from Doctors, sucks. My health has gotten real bad, the Chronic pain and anxiety and depression too. Kenneth Glatt.

I’m sure I’m not the first person to retire and end up in rehab. The Estate saved my life. I finally came to terms with my drinking and my dependency on alcohol through addressing health issues the staff at the Estate were instrumental with helping me sort out and plot my way forward. I continue to have contact with Amy and some of my fellows and have returned several times and it’s a good thing to be 30 months sober and I attribute in part to the experience of the estate. I’m an open book…I have embraced AA as part of my sobriety program…in terms of working the steps and getting sponsor and continuing to work work work… if you’re considering the Estate …I recommend opening yourself up to change…because if nothing changes, nothing‘s gonna change.

The Estate took me at my lowest and brought me back to life. The staff there are amazing!’ They really show you they care about you. You can tell that they’re doing what they love. It’s beautiful there. I was a little scared being in the woods like that at first but it turned out to be amazing. It’s so peaceful . It’s gorgeous! The cottages are really nice and spacious. I Have to say thank you to the behavior techs and supervisors who put in the work to keep me and others safe. The problems I've had here include many things breaking, uncleanliness (a staff forced me and another client to clean a day room that had not been cleaned in what looked like months if not a year.), staff using point sheets as a weapon to make kids scared, some of the staff are just downright petty. I can't say I wasn't helped, The clinical director (Scott Smales) Was so so helpful and helped sort a lot of problems. Behavior tech just don't care a lot along with some supervisors. Thank you to the ones who did do the work they were supposed to and thank you to the interns and my therapist for making my stay somewhat less scary.

The kind volunteer handed me a piece of paper showing me who I needed to call to get my service. Unfortunately, the phone number on the paper was no longer in service. Suggest they revive the letter. And the kicker: that person doesn’t actually handle what I was there for. Nothing major, but I feel it needs to be addressed.

When compared to other places this one is good. So far very decent with minor faults. I have been a patient of your facility for over 5 years. I'll be the first to admit that this place has saved my life. One thing I have noticed though is that there is a great number of overturned when it comes to your counselors. I personally have had over nine counselors since I've been coming to the clinic. A lot of them have been good. A few not so good. But I have to say that the counselor that I currently have is by far the best that I've ever had. Her compassion and sincerity became apparent to me within the first few minutes that I met her. Her advice and counseling has been instrumental in keeping me on an even keel when it comes to my recovery. The counselor that I speak of is Breez Ann Brownell. If anyone in your facility deserves a commendation it would be most certainly her. Thank you and keep up the good work.

This place saved my life! My counselor is BreezeAnn and she has been my anchor. I actually look forward to talking to her in my counseling sessions! I feel really blessed to have her. I went through 3 counselors over a 12 month period. They kept quitting. Then when I lucked out and got BreezeAnn I saw how beneficial it is to have someone who listens with an unbiased ear and offers realistic explanations and advice. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Liz. She has been such an incredible therapist for my son, Oliver, and has helped him through so much. She has a gift for making him feel safe, comfortable, heard, and understood, and watching the trust he has developed with her means more to me than I can put into words. But what makes Mrs. Liz especially incredible is that her support doesn’t stop with Oliver. She has helped me tremendously as his mom, too. She doesn’t just tell me what we’re working on, she gives me actual words and phrases to use, ideas to try, different ways to approach situations, and practical tools that I can take home and use in our everyday lives. She helps me understand what Oliver may be feeling or needing and gives me ways to better support him through it. She is also always full of encouragement, which sometimes is exactly what a parent needs to hear. The things she has taught both of us have carried far beyond the therapy room. We’ve been able to take what we learn from her and incorporate it into our life at home, and it has genuinely made such a difference for our family. I am incredibly thankful for her knowledge, patience, encouragement, and the way she cares for not only my child, but for me as his parent as well. And Mrs. Phyllis and Mrs. Gigi at check-in and check-out are just as wonderful. Their smiles and positive attitudes are there every single time we walk through the door. They always seem genuinely happy to see Oliver, and he is always happy and comfortable going there. That kind of warmth and consistency means so much, especially when it’s a place your child visits regularly. The facility is always clean, neat, welcoming, and comfortable, but it’s truly the people who make this place so special. When you’re trusting someone to help your child navigate big feelings, challenges, and important stages of their development, having a team that truly cares about your child and supports you as a parent is invaluable. Mrs. Liz and this entire team have made such a positive impact on our lives. I can honestly say that the support, tools, encouragement, and care we’ve received here have been transformative for our family. I am beyond thankful for all of them and for the difference they have made in both Oliver’s life and mine. We absolutely love them and could not recommend them more highly!

I have been going here since I was 20 and vouching for my autism diagnosis. They have helped with managing my anxiety and depression that stem from the final diagnosis, as well as my ADHD. My chart ended up getting messed up sometime late last year and I didn’t have insurance, either. I was able to be seen in a timely manner and redo my intake. Fawn at the Fairhope office was such a sweetheart and helped me redo everything, and thankfully, some of my last chart had been saved and recovered. She was with me all the way in explaining the issue and helped me with the updated process. Much love to the Fairhope staff and excited to start my mental health journey with a new outlook and a clean slate.

My counselor Mary is always timely and professional. Catie is my doc and I have yet to see her on time. Today she was afull hr behind normally its 45 mins. As I am a professional employed woman, I would appreciate better timely appointments. I have not encountered this problem in all the over 10 years I've been a patient at this fairhope adult outpatient facility.

Wonderful team of Counselors, Nurses, our Doctor, our front desk staff, our janitor, our pharmacist who MAKES sure we are taken care of if she has something come up, our Director and my counselor is the best! The zoom meetings are always a great time! They make it possible to succeed! They have empathy! They all have compassion and treat you with dignity. I highly recommend this treatment program! 2.9 years sober!

Love it. They don’t want to see you everyday, they want you to succeed and get your take homes and they make youstill feel like a human and not just a number with a $. If you have to wait more than 10-20 minutes ever from pull up to leaving lot then suck it up and shut your mouth because it’s a rare occurrence and if you have been to other clinics you know how long the wait time is almost daily 😭 just remember that on those blue moon days 😁 But truly they are phenomenal ;each nurse Dr and counselor deserve praise! Thanks To The Team!!!

I work construction out of town a lot,so I've been to a few dozen clinics from Philadelphia PA to Jacksonville FL. By far this facility is 10 times more professional,quick responses for whatever reasons. Cleanest facility, friendliest, caring staff I've dealt with. If you've ever had to guest dose before,it can be a nightmare!! Maybe you didn't have any problems,but I have with other clinics. Not this one! They'll make sure you get the best help possible. I would never go anywhere else.WARNING! If you're not serious about sobriety then you may prefer the other dumps. Still give them a call! They saved my life!! I would love to see more of your bhg facilities in the Mississippi area and maybe have a federal guideline on amount of your dosage for guest dosing because I have been places where there was no problem but I've been to several states like Tennessee and I was taking more than their maximum level and I had to wait 2 weeks for a state approval. Of course I was working and it being 6 hours from my hometown I had to go home one day a week until they got it straight. I wouldn't have waited for 2 days in the waitroom thinking everything was going to be fine if someone would have told me or like I said every state be on the same thing or ar least respect the other states that aren't at the same dosage levels. We still have problems and are paying patients for treatment and I was furious after working 2 nights without and set there from 6 until 12 and then be told come back in the morning maybe we will be heard back from them. Communication is really what needs to be done between the states and the different companies policies.
