As many other reviews here say, going to treatment was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. I knew I needed help, but I was terrified of the process of getting it, especially because I had never known anyone who had done intensive mental health treatment like the kind Magnolia Creek offers. But after completing my treatment at MC, I can honestly say that it is the best and most important thing I have ever done for myself. Magnolia Creek taught me not just about how to recover but also about what led me to my ED in the first place—and why that origin matters. The group therapies stand out as some of the best conversations I’ve ever had about mental health—all the clinicians at MC contributed to making these talks so meaningful, but especially Sam and Madison! My individual team changed my life with such personal, passionate, empathetic, recovery-focused care. Anna, my therapist, helped me do things in the weeks I was in treatment that I never thought would be possible for me. Because of her and my dietitian, Emma’s, expert care, I am now able to not only handle my ED but also start living a life full of love and care for myself. Anna and her loving spirit and unmatched emotional intelligence challenged me when I needed it and nurtured me when I couldn’t do it for myself. She has left a handprint on my heart I will carry with me in my recovery forever. I also am so thankful for Dylan’s leadership in the nutrition space at MC; his dedication and passion for what MC is doing and for the clients’ recoveries made so much possible for me while I was there. The rest of the staff at MC was also key to making my experience what it was. I was so scared of what treatment would be, but the RCSes and facility staff made me feel so looked after and safe that I was able to really focus on the hard work of recovery and to let the other worries fade. I’m so grateful for the kindness and care that the staff of MC showed me in my time there. My life is forever changed by the wonderful programming and people of Magnolia Creek. I can never say thank you enough to everyone there for allowing me the space to imagine and create a better life for myself. I cannot recommend MC—and treatment—more.

Magnolia Creek truly helped me in ways that I didn’t know were possible. Going back to treatment and having to put my life on pause was a difficult and scary decision, but I was welcomed with open arms into a safe place to heal. Over my time at MC, I learned a lot about myself with the help of my amazing team and many other staff/clients. My team was truly the best, they met me where I was at, while also challenging me. I felt genuinely supported, cared for, and seen throughout my experience here. I am forever grateful for all the people I met at Magnolia Creek and how they changed my life and recovery for the better!

***Disclaimer: My review is concerning a delivery experience to the facility.*** This facility placed a very large order of 99 items at Sam's. I accepted the order, and saw that there was no tip attached to it, but assumed since it was such a large order, the customer probably wanted to wait until after everything was delivered before tipping, which is understandable, so I proceeded with shopping for the order. Things didn't exactly go the way I thought they would, but I've since been tipped (and tipped fairly) for the amount of effort required to complete their order. I really appreciate their willingness to address and rectify this ordeal. It says a lot about the level of importance they place on the people they encounter in the day to day operations of the center, which inadvertently also says a lot about the quality of treatment I'm sure they also give to their patients. I came here needing a real change and that's what I got. The program is definitely tough but sometimes that's what you need to break old habits. It’s pretty structured, with a lot of discipline and no shortcuts allowed. What really stood out to me was how much they lean on the Bible and its teachings. It’s a big part of the healing here. I do wish I’d had a little more access to my kids or family during the program, but I get that they want you to stay focused on the program. It’s definitely not fancy but it’s a genuine place and they really help you. I’m grateful for the help I got to get started in recovery.

This is the place for men in trouble to get help at no cost but they are not easy

Looking for help with addiction this place can help they helped me with my addiction through the Word of God

I struggled with addiction and alcoholism for more than half of my life and have been to the point of no return it seemed. They really helped me to learn to control my emotions and cope with my triggers. The staff is awesome and very helpful as well as the counselors! This place is like everywhere else in the sense that if you don't want help, you're going to fail! So don't come here if you can't commit to helping yourself. I recommend this place to anyone who is serious about getting help! 5 stars from me!

This is a really good place if you are serious about wanting to recover. There is a lot of freedom In this program seeings you can leave everyday to work so I would say that this is not the best choice of program if you are coming straight off of the drugs you should pry go to a higher level of care first then here. When your on campus it is pretty structured not a lot of free time they definitely don’t just want your money as others have said they Hardily take anything that compare to the services and food and shelter they provide speaking of witch there is an amazing cook there Mike he prepares all the food which is of 5 star quality a lot of variety and always good. Staff really cares for you here they want to see you succeed really it all depends on what attitude you bring to the table that determines how sussceful and good your stay here will be. Thank you to all the staff for everything y’all do.

This is the place for a personal recovery program. No other place can compare in the area.

The Avalon Center staff have been an immense help in navigating my road to better mental health. I was diagnosed with bipolar I disorder last year and these folks have done everything they can to give me the best care possible. I was without insurance for months and they were able to help me apply for patient assistance so that I could get my necessary monthly injection that was prohibitively expensive without insurance. My provider and case manager are both amazing. The staff up front as well. I couldn't be happier with my choice to go with the Avalon Center during this difficult time in my life.

I just have to say that God has been so good to my son. This place has taught him so many things. From 10 years of addiction to 2 years sober. This program has truly changed his heart, mind set and drive. I couldnt recommend a better place. Keep doing this for the glory of God. Truly amazing place.

This is a true place of recovery and community . The staff truly care because they've been where we have been . The structure and accountability is set in place to create growth within recovery.alr is a safe predictable and recovery based community.

The community here is an A+, you will find solid recovery here if you seek it.

My Son came back to us a Responsible, Christian Man. Able to stand on his own and pay his own bills for the first time in Many years. I Truly Know With All My Heart That AA&TC Saved My Son's Life! I will be eternally grateful for all the hard work they invested in my Son. I know he is in God's hands and I know he is a Christian. Everything about him changed for the better. Money could not buy the Blessings we have received or the life that was Saved! It was hard for us all to let go and let God, but that is exactly what had to happen to save my son's life. AA&TC knew exactly what he needed and what we needed as his family. If your son needs saving and you have realized that You can't save him. Call AA&TC because they can help him have a New Life! I just want to say that God and this program saved my sons life. He was headed down a very dark path of addiction and depression. I have prayed for YEARS for him to be free of his addiction. But I wasn’t giving God enough credit, so that’s when He showed me how big and strong He is. Not only did He help my son break free from his addictions, He saved him. My son now has a personal relationship with God. Prior to this my son even told me he wasn’t sure there WAS a God. He has now completed his year there, and not only did he get saved and baptized (his choice...not a requirement or demand) he has chosen to stay and become an intern to help others with the same issues. He has done some public speaking, giving his testimony (which is amazing considering the things he did...also amazing he lived through it). I always told him that God had plans for him bigger than he could imagine. I’m here to tell you PRAYERS WORK! But I only prayed for his freedom from addictions. Not only did God do that, he went a step further and convicted him of listening to degrading rap music and gave him a voice to use to tell of His mercy that is freely given for all of us. He feels led to help others in similar situations. Praise and Glory to Him!! No, this is not “forced religion” as the previous review suggested. This is a program that tells you that God loves each and every one of us the same and wants us to come to the altar and ask for His help. He loves us so much that He gave His Only begotten son to save each and every one of us. I thank God for this wonderful program!! Instead of celebrating my sons graduation and promotion to internship, I could easily have been burying him had it not been for this program and Gods mercy.
