I was so scared to do my child’s assessment, fearing the results would be horrible! My son scored Great! The center was clean with many toys! Nicole was very patient with my son! She is the reason I felt so comfortable!!! We need more people like her. She took her time and understood my concerns. Definitely great with children. As parents we think these ppl will label our kids and its not true! They are there to help. My son is grateful for the free toys and books!! Thanks again Nicole!

This place is amazing. I was in active addiction chasing down an early grave. I am from Massachusetts where heroin is rampant and recovery is thin. These people at this facility actually care. Its strange to have people you dont know actually care that you stay alive they put up with all the stages of getting sober and early recovery non sence. The trauma group runs three times a week, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I'd been to programs that mentioned trauma-informed care and then gave it maybe one session. Here it was built into the schedule in a real way, with a dedicated trauma therapist. That frequency made a difference because you actually had time to open something up and then come back to it before too much time passed.

Overall great faculty, would definitely recommend patients to commit to PHP IOP here, all the facilitators are super helpful and hold very informational groups, Dr Nicole and Pastor Dan played a big role in my recovery and pushed me to do better every step of the way I highly recommend seeking help advice and opinions from them as well.

This is a dicey review - only because everybody has their own different experiences with places like this. My personal opinion, don’t take reviews to heart. Everyone’s experience is different. Mine personally, was amazing. The staff was amazing. I’ve never stayed in a treatment center that long in my life… if you knew me, that would say a lot. I have been in and out of these facilities over 15+ years. It was very clean, I love the food, The rooms in residential were like a hotel room. They were beautiful. Best of all, the staff. From the techs all the way up to leadership, great people! The cleaning staff were on point! Huge shout out to Jordyn, Ashley, Anthony, Nick V, Roni, Rick, Penny, Corey, Harriet, Shay, Matt, and most of all my therapist, Jason. I don’t think I’ve would’ve stayed the amount of time that I stayed without my therapist, Jason. Along with the support from the staff. It was a great group of people when I was there. Truly amazing people, that wanted better. The only cons I can say about this facility, is the lack of communication between the departments. Nursing, techs and leadership are all on different communication levels, which can be become very complicated for the client. They should be more aware of medications that people need daily, so clients are not running out of medication’s… The techs need to be trained across the board on what’s right and what’s not right. Each tech had a different opinion or decision on something, with certain people.. That was the only real negative experience I had at this facility. Everything else was great, the staff and the clients! As I said, don’t take peoples reviews to heart. Everyone has a different experience when they’re going through this type of thing. I am very grateful for the support I had at The Haven in West Palm Beach. Truly. 🙏

The amount of love this treatment center showed me truly saved my life. Before I went to there detox and residential program on singer island I truly wanted to die. When I arrived to the island that sings I immediately got involved with there LIV program and suddenly I slowly became motivated to change and made a decision to receive help. The LIV program they offer is what makes this center different and in my opinion better than the rest. We went surfing, kayaking, on nature walks, we watched the sun rise on the beach and mediated every morning, animal petting zoos, rock climbing, played pickle ball and so much more. I’ll never forget the night they took us to see the full moon rise and we saw 3 shooting stars on the beach. I did not realize at the time but this helped me develop a healthy ROUTINE and I still have that routine today. They had music groups, H&I came in every night to bring meetings , the food was great and the staff was absolutely amazing and welcomed me with warm open arms and accepted me.The community and friends I made here became family to me and I still keep in contact with them today, but this was just the start! After I completed the 30 days. I continued treatment at crystal lake healing because it was suggested and I was determined to do anything to change my old ways. The staff here was truly outstanding such as Troy who is the director of the LIV program. The tecs such as Anthony, Henry, Rebecca, Lex, Christina, BRIE, Elexus, Ryan and so many more. The therapist and group coordinators like John Po, Erica, Mary Kate to name a few. Mason the operations coordinator is a great man, he even ordered a guitar for me. The nurses and doctors, they all helped me rewire my brain and develop new healthy patterns. I truly love all of them it’s because of them that I fell back in love with LIFE and no longer want to die. At this point I was fully plugged in with more recovery support then I ever had. When I graduated the program they offered an Alumnni program where we meet every two weeks and have special alumni events for the graduates. This is ran by the amazing TAYLOR who does such a great job. I’ve never seen a treatment place have such a great aftercare program like this. Taylor has taking us night time snorkeling 🤿, volley ball events back at singer island, and on Memorial Day weekend we all went to peanut island for a bbq where one of the owners took us on his boat to get us on the island. We have another fun event coming up and I heard they are planning something special for Halloween! That’s what makes this place different. You don’t see what I just mentioned at other treat ment centers. You won’t get the love, support, and people who really care like them anywhere else in the world. Take it from someone who’s struggled with heroine addiction for 17 years and is just getting it right now. If your reading this and want to experience the story I just told in your own way. Crystal lake gave me a place to heal. A place to figure out what kind of man I wanted to be. The staff at Crystal lake were patient with me and today I am proud of myself. My daughter’s proud of me. You and your team looked past the hardest moments and you saw someone who was still worth helping, protecting and worth believing in.That kind of compassion cannot be measured by one act alone. That is the kind of compassion that can reach someone when they are at their lowest and remind them that they are still a person and loved and it gives them a reason to keep going. To every person at First Step Behavioral Health please know that our family noticed. To everyone that sometimes may feel forgotten. The individuals who brought her food, a warm blanket, cleaned up after her and then told her it was ok and reminded her she wasn’t alone. We noticed. We noticed the little things. We noticed the people who went out of their way to make her feel cared for when she couldn’t care for herself. We noticed the people who continued showing up even when the days were difficult. And most importantly we noticed the love. You may not realize how much those moments meant, but they meant everything to us. When we couldn’t be there. We had comfort, knowing that she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her and our family when we thought there was none. You and your team gave our family more memories when we thought there would be no more. You gave our family more laughter. More smiles, more time with our sister. Time is something that people take for granted until they realize there isn’t any time left. We thought our time was up with our sister and were preparing for her story to have a tragic ending. Because of your team, she has now the tools to heal. Mental illness does not just effect the one individual. I was stubborn to open up to the help but once I did this place helped me more than they ever know. They helped me gain my life and my kids back. I’m still sober even tho some thought I wouldn’t be because I left 2days earlier than I was suppose to. Hands down the best mental health facility I’ve been to. Everyone here is so kind, understanding, and actually makes you feel like they genuinely care about you as a person. The staff made me feel comfortable and supported from the beginning, and the overall environment is nothing like what I’ve experienced at other places. Comprehensive Wellness Center played a major role in my recovery. They got me on the correct medications that were monitored and educated me about the amygdala hijack. What my brain was doing to me before I drank or drugged. Also, I was educated on great breathing exercises and grounding techniques that still help me today. They have amazing staff along with very clean places to do residential. I felt comfortable and safe and enjoyed groups. Their catered food is very good, also, they gave me a gift card so I can buy and cook what I enjoyed. I continued my sobriety after being successfully discharged and now live in their Sober home where I am accounted for, committed to and an active member of AA. I spent 60 days as PHP and 30 days as IOP at this rehab facility. There’s always 2 group rooms to choose from with activation of group facilitators and therapists that run the groups. While here I spent most of my time Scott’s group in the morning. He does a great job of making sure that you are correctly able to identify what got you here in the first place like the fact that being in rehab is not a choice. It is a result of your addiction. Your recovery is the choice you get to make if you put in the work. If you feel that you’ll get more benefit from learning the psychology of things then Dr. B’s group is perfect for you in the other room. And if you want a variety of techniques Jamie is amazing at balance including things such as music therapy, Ted Talks, and recovery speakers in addition to the regular conversations. Is Luminous perfect and issue free? NO. However, it is here to test you and make sure that while you’re under their protective bubble of life you learn to deal with life, cravings, and coping mechanisms the right way. There are many employees who are here for all the right reasons. Some have been through rehab and dealt with addiction themselves and are able to give you insight into what the correct steps to make are without all the fluff like the lead tech Novak who assists in the majority of day to day operations. My case manager Elise goes above and beyond her scope of her job title. While clients speak amongst themselves about issues they may be having, she is brought up as the one who often helps clients that aren’t under her management and picks up slack for other ppl who try to redirect you to someone else for assistance. It’s no wonder that when the new case manager came in they had her shadow her rather than the more senior case manager. Overall I thank Luminous and the entire staff and clients who all contributed to my Successful rehab completion. They have assisted me in my discovery phase and have put me on the path to recovery. I can now claim to be 90 days clean and sober for the first time in over 20 years. Thanks again.

So I think that yaz is the one who makes it happen at this facility and she is very helpful and very friendly I posted a post earlier that I may have been a little off and I apologize for that one so everyone is got a lot on their plate here and us addicts always want what we want and we want it now so there job is very stressful and it ain't no walk in the park to deal with us so I just wanted to say thank you luminous care for your help and support through my recovery here it has been a pleasure to meet each and every one of you counselor and techs.

Beachside was a very comfortable, clean, and calming environment. The staff were friendly and the small client population made for friendships and companionship. The nursing staff were also friendly and efficient. The food was good and options were offered at every meal. The single occupancy rooms were spacious and comfortable. The therapeutic sessions were informative and helpful. There were numerous leisure activities, as well. The intake process was lengthy and I urge the client to read the forms before signing. Beachside is worth looking into for residential rehab.

There are simply no words to express how deeply grateful our family is to the Hanley Center. I believe God led our son there at exactly the right time and that the people at Hanley were an answer to our prayers. Our son needed inpatient treatment for alcoholism, however, our local facility had no inpatient beds available. Outpatient treatment was offered, but it wasn’t enough. When we contacted Hanley, Renee Rogers and her entire admissions team immediately stepped in. They treated him as an emergency admit, worked with his insurance, and made the entire process happen quickly and seamlessly. When he landed at the airport, a car was already waiting for him. Their professionalism was matched by an extraordinary level of compassion and genuine care. My husband and I attended family week, which was truly life-changing. The education and guidance we received were phenomenal and gave us a much deeper understanding of addiction, recovery, and how we can support our son and our family moving forward. I strongly encourage every family to participate. Our son’s primary therapist, Michael Friedman, was simply exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, compassionate and gifted at what he does. We will forever be grateful for the role he played in our son’s recovery. To Renee Rogers, her entire admissions team, as well as Michael Friedman, thank you for literally saving our son’s life. You are all incredibly gifted humans and such an integral part of his journey. Coming into another detox and rehab was not what I wanted to go through again. I was 3 1/2 hours away from home and just lost my job. Allure ending up being the best thing for me. I was able to focus on my sobriety and get the help I needed. The techs, counselors and nurses are very understanding and can relate to what we all were going through. With their strength and hope I left there ready to give this program 100% on a daily basis.

I went to The Beachcomber in 2020 after 12 years struggling as an alcoholic. What I walked into wasn’t what I expected after a few stints at other rehabs. They were tough, hard on us. They spoke the truth which is something I hadn’t heard. I didn’t get sober as soon as I left, but I did soon after and I am so thankful for the experience I had there. When I came into Elan I was broken, I had no trust in rehab centers and they changed my way of thinking. They earned my trust and helped me save my life. The staff is truly the best hand picked employees a rehab center could have. All the therapists are phenomenal in what they do, they have all helped me and have gave me the criteria to live a honest clean sober life. The Techs are wonderful they’re so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable, the lead techs Keri & Scott are so insightful. The family program that the therapist Lystra conducted was the most HEALING EXPERIENCE and has helped with a lifetime worth of damage. We keep in contact weekly and it’s the most beautiful relationship I’ve bonded with a therapist, thank you Lystra for all you do. The Director Barbara I will be forever grateful for she always made time to be there for me. The Clinical Medical staff knows what they are talking about and very understanding. Pastor Craig is the best motivational staff member he’s made a world of a difference in my life. Diane’s groups are AMAZING! I’ve learned so much about why I did what I’ve done and she has always been there for me. If you wanna get deep in the Big Book Larry can direct you with any question and answers you have. I was a recent patient at Genesis house. I found the property to be beautiful and spacious. All of the facilitators were knowledgeable and were concerned with getting the patients better. The nursing staff was top-notch. Even the Alumni coordinators are spectacular at their jobs. The Therapist really dig deep into finding out why you use or drink and help you find your recovery. All in all, I recommend Genesis house for anybody who is serious about getting clean or sober

I loved the staff especially Brian and my case manager Lee. I learned so much out of the groups. My one on one therapy sessions with Rob were great I definitely 100% recommend this facility to any one who is struggling and looking for help. 10 stars across the board. Staff was amazing and really seemed care about the patients.

A year ago yesterday Kat picked me up from the airport. In 10 minutes, I'll be going to a meeting to pick up my 1-year chip ❤️ From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with the rep, Trisha, I had an amazing experience! She and my sister helped me coordinate my trip, as I was in no condition to do so myself. Within hours I had an airplane ticket and a bed. The first week is a daze. But I was comfortable, taken care of, and well fed. They also accommodated my dietary needs. The med staff paid close attention, monitoring vitals, and doing extra check-ins as needed (ex: coming during the night to check blood pressure if too low). The medication made detox comfortable, and made me feel safe (a major reason I chose a center was fear of DTs/death). The staff doctor was great, too. While there, we were offered groups that were very beneficial. These included relaxation/meditation/ mindfulness sessions, communication classes, and chiropractic services. There were fun activities like tiedye and group painting. H & I also came in daily, or was run by house staff. This was my intro to AA, which I've come to love and embrace. The rooms were comfortable, with a TV for each bed (head phones provided). My particular roommate situation was incredible! 3 of us text regularly, and are certain to be lifelong friends. The grounds are beautiful! The courtyard is a lovely place to relax and socialize. The back yard area has activities like corn hole and yard nuts. There's a sandbox that I called my beach, and would lounge and journal with my feet in the sand. Initially, I planned on detox, only, and then returning to Michigan. When I realized that detox was only the first step, they had reps from rehab facilities visit to help coordinate the second step. Shout out to Kenny, Kat. Marissa, Kenith, Rick and Felicai. I'm sure staff has changed, and that I've forgotten many names. But I'll never forget the amazing people that helped me start my road to recovery.

Just spent a well needed 3wks at 1 solution detox. The entire staff is great. Directors , Doctors ,techs ,nurses and therapist all do their job with ❤️. I would definitely recommend treatment there to anybody struggling with a drug/alcohol disease. Rick W

The staff and program helped bring me back to myself, they put me on the right track for a successful recovery and I couldn’t be more grateful for them. They met my needs and more. They made me feel like my life was worth living and that’s all I could ask for, I’m excited for this journey and I’ll definitely be back to visit. Thank you guys so much ❤️
