All of the security & almost all of the staff are very nice with the exception of 1 lady but maybe she was having some personal problems & it was affecting her attitude/demeanor & that encounter was a while bk & I just prayed for her & I have had very good relations with all of the staff ever since. Especially 2 ladies that I like & take to very much. I wont mention names because it wouldnt be fair to do that. I pray everyday that they are taking good care of my daughter.....and look out for her best interest & treat her as the special young lady that she is. ❤💚☝️🙏🙏🙏🙏✌💖💝I love my daughter so much. The Transition House is a great great program! All the counselors and all the behavioral techs care about every single person that walks through the door! Every group is informative and gives you the tools to exceed quality sobriety! This program is not for people who need it, but for people who want it! One of the greatest things I have learned in this program,is I had to change myself and my old behaviors (not just the ones I wanted)...but all of them! I have been here for 5months and I am truly not the same person that walked in the door on December 31! The administration, staff and clients have helped to make the man I am today! Thank you Transition House! I can truly say I love Christopher Stewart!!!

3 of my kids go to their pediatric department. I would give this place 5 stars if it was only based on how warm, welcoming, and wonderful everyone is. All 3 kids see Jen and she is amazing. Miss Erica and Miss Jackie are wonderful case managers. Dr Lepely and his team are very nice. He has ensured my kids have everything they need, even when we have had to make adjustments he knew just what to do. Now for the negatives… The wait time to see the doctor is pretty extreme. They schedule everyone for one like.. 3-4 hour time slot. It’s first come first served and there are always 30+ people waiting. I know not everyone has time to wait like that and it confuses me why they do it. It has been especially hard with 2 adhd girls who are being seen for behavioral issues 😓 I am just lucky I have had the time to wait on days like those. Some times we are there for 30 minutes, other times we are there for hours. I tried to get in to see them, myself, and after months of not having a therapist or doctor, I just had to go find a new one(I dropped my providers to see theirs). I did meet with the case manager and we also spoke over the phone a few months later. I mentioned I hadn’t been assigned anyone yet and nothing changed so I moved on. All in all, the care here is positive. With some ironing out of their scheduling and staffing issues I think this facility would be a whole five stars.

In May- July 2024 my daughter received 12 weeks of intensive outpatient therapy three times a week at HCA Orange Park Behavioral Health. I must admit that I was skeptical at first as a retired RN and former patient at the Mayo Clinic until I personally met the staff. From the Receptionist, Tech, Therapist, and the Director Heather who all reassured me that they would all support and care for my precious daughter during her holistic healing journey. And they all did exactly that!!! She completed her group therapy with the tools she need in moving forward in hope in her quest for wellness and in wholeness!!! Heather a special applause to you for your honesty, empathy, support, concerns, compassion, understanding and professionalism during this challenging time!!! May God continue to bless you, your healing ministry at HCA, staff, and clients as you love, serve and care for God’s Children♥️🙏🎚️🦅🌹 In Much Honor, Gratitude and Prayer Dr. Jacqueline Johnson SoWeGa

I came to this facility in pretty bad shape. I was having panic attack after panic attack, and doctors had me on meds that made me worse. My husband found this program and it has been a God send. You have group sessions but you also have at least once a week a session with a psychiatrist and he or she talks to you listens and works with you to find the right meds to address your symptoms and diagnose the right disorder. There are therapist that see you in groups daily or depends how far a long you are in the program maybe 2 times weekly try to help you to bring out the real reason for your issues, where they originated from so you can learn coping skills to deal with what the meds can’t do. Together this program helped me get my life back and I am forever grateful to them. However you have to be willing to put in the work if you want results l. If you have tried doctors that don’t listen to you and you are simply not getting better with your current treatment, I would give you them a try.

I had to have a procedure done with the cardiologist on 07/29/2025 anyway I reported to the VA as instructed that morning. I was being prepped for the procedure around 7:20 AM and several different doctors came to me and explained how the procedure was going to be done. then I around around 7:40 AM I dozed off with the IV in my arm and woke up around 11:30 AM and another doctor approached me only to ask me whether or not have I missed any doses of my blood thinner medication within the last month and I told him yes just a few within the last month and he called off the procedure which was extremely unnecessary. I just want to say that I was really totally upset because I laid on the table for almost 5 hours when that question could was have been answered earlier that morning when I arrived I was really treated like a second class citizen totally embarrassed, and the way the doctor questioned me as if I were super STUPID I almost lost my integrity this is shame PLEASE DO YOURSELF don't choose the VA for your serious medical needs it's a RACIST ORGANIZATION SERIOUSLY

Tech Jen saved my life, but she probably doesn’t know that. I came in lacking basic hygiene necessities. She made sure I got deodorant and toothpaste. I dropped my sunglasses and they broke. She walked out to her car and gave me a $50 pair of hers, no questions asked. In my darkest moment, Jen showed me love and compassion. I pray she gets everything good in this life.

So I’m hoping this is my last treatment center. Tides gave me what I needed when I needed it. I initially thought after 9 days I’d go home. As we do I thought that would be enough. The staff was smart and let me decide and gently pushed me in the direction of staying longer. I ended up doing 21 days but had planned to stay for 28. Unfortunately my insurance said it wasn’t medically necessary to stay past 21 days. The group sessions at the detox part of tides were good I really liked my counselor. When/if you go to the other tides which is a lower level of care that’s when the more intensive therapy starts. I think this is perhaps a unique approach when we first arrive in treatment we dont necessarily need to be thrust into deep therapy conversations were more than likely detoxing and need to heal more than anything. The reason why it’s 4 stars and not 5 is cause of the food. Some of my meals weren’t even edible. They cater them in and they really are mostly bad. You won’t starve I did find other options for me but just would’ve been better if the food wasn’t so bad. Either way we find something to get a resentment at and it really just takes one resentment to justify leaving early so I tried to be conscious aware of that. I truly appreciate everyone I came into contact with at tides from the staff to the clients and again I plan on this being my last treatment center but that will only happen if I remember that I just gotta stay sober for today.
