year ago, I walked out of the doors of Northeast Florida State Hospital, and my life has never been the same since. When I first arrived, I was in one of the darkest places I’ve ever been in my life. I didn’t see much hope, and I didn’t know if I would ever feel better. But during my time there, something changed. Little by little, through the patience, care, and dedication of the staff, I began to heal.The staff there were absolutely incredible. They weren’t just “doing their jobs they were friendly, fair, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, cared for, and respected. They created a warm and welcoming environment that felt safe, supportive, and encouraging. The events, the programs, and the way they connected with us made me feel at home, even though I knew it wasn’t my permanent home. They truly made it feel like a family, and that meant the world to me.Since leaving a year ago, my life has become better, stronger, and more powerful than ever before. The strength I found during my time at Northeast Florida State Hospital has carried me forward and helped me keep growing. I often think back to the staff, the experiences, and the kindness I was shown, and I can honestly say I miss them and everything they did to make us feel cared for. I want to say from the bottom of my heart: thank you. Thank you to Northeast Florida State Hospital and every single staff member who went above and beyond to make a difference in my life. You gave me hope when I had none, and you gave me the tools to keep moving forward. I will forever appreciate you all.

I was a client at the TH in September of 2017. I was there as a doc client. I was treated like a person. The counselor I has was AMAZING.She help me learn how to love myself again. I have been sober ever day since leaving the TH. I also have a loving and healthy relationship with my family,kids, and my husband of 2 years.

The Transition House is a great great program! All the counselors and all the behavioral techs care about every single person that walks through the door! Every group is informative and gives you the tools to exceed quality sobriety! This program is not for people who need it, but for people who want it! One of the greatest things I have learned in this program,is I had to change myself and my old behaviors (not just the ones I wanted)...but all of them! I have been here for 5months and I am truly not the same person that walked in the door on December 31! The administration, staff and clients have helped to make the man I am today! Thank you Transition House! I can truly say I love Christopher Stewart!!!

This place has made a real turnaround, and I can honestly feel the difference. Having Security Officer Smith here means everything to me. He greets us every morning with respect, makes sure we understand the new rules, and creates a sense of safety I didn’t realize I needed. Ever since he started, the parking lot has been calm and problem-free. After being attacked last month, walking in here was scary for me… but knowing he’s there makes me feel protected again. I’m truly grateful for him

I love the fact that my counselor Mrs.Payne is always available and always there to help! Even the people who is not on her case load and also the lady who always at number 1 keeps a smile on her face!

The road to recovery is so much easier and less rocky because of the people at the Loche Rane location. Brittany is so kind, caring and honest that I felt comfortable opening up and being completely transparent with both myself and the people around me. The people who do not come out of their services bettered are the ones who never truly took advantage of the wonderful opportunity before them.

3 of my kids go to their pediatric department. I would give this place 5 stars if it was only based on how warm, welcoming, and wonderful everyone is.
All 3 kids see Jen and she is amazing. Miss Erica and Miss Jackie are wonderful case managers. Dr Lepely and his team are very nice. He has ensured my kids have everything they need, even when we have had to make adjustments he knew just what to do.
Now for the negatives… The wait time to see the doctor is pretty extreme. They schedule everyone for one like.. 3-4 hour time slot. It’s first come first served and there are always 30+ people waiting. I know not everyone has time to wait like that and it confuses me why they do it. It has been especially hard with 2 adhd girls who are being seen for behavioral issues 😓 I am just lucky I have had the time to wait on days like those. Some times we are there for 30 minutes, other times we are there for hours.
I tried to get in to see them, myself, and after months of not having a therapist or doctor, I just had to go find a new one(I dropped my providers to see theirs). I did meet with the case manager and we also spoke over the phone a few months later. I mentioned I hadn’t been assigned anyone yet and nothing changed so I moved on.
All in all, the care here is positive. With some ironing out of their scheduling and staffing issues I think this facility would be a whole five stars.

This place has helped me alot, especially after going through what I have. Give it a chance and open yourself up. They might push you yes, but you can't make progress in 8 weeks if you don't talk or try to participate.

In May- July 2024 my daughter received 12 weeks of intensive outpatient therapy three times a week at HCA Orange Park Behavioral Health. I must admit that I was skeptical at first as a retired RN and former patient at the Mayo Clinic until I personally met the staff. From the Receptionist, Tech, Therapist, and the Director Heather who all reassured me that they would all support and care for my precious daughter during her holistic healing journey. And they all did exactly that!!! She completed her group therapy with the tools she need in moving forward in hope in her quest for wellness and in wholeness!!! Heather a special applause to you for your honesty, empathy, support, concerns, compassion, understanding and professionalism during this challenging time!!! I came to this facility in pretty bad shape. I was having panic attack after panic attack, and doctors had me on meds that made me worse. My husband found this program and it has been a God send. You have group sessions but you also have at least once a week a session with a psychiatrist and he or she talks to you listens and works with you to find the right meds to address your symptoms and diagnose the right disorder. There are therapist that see you in groups daily or depends how far a long you are in the program maybe 2 times weekly try to help you to bring out the real reason for your issues, where they originated from so you can learn coping skills to deal with what the meds can’t do. Together this program helped me get my life back and I am forever grateful to them. However you have to be willing to put in the work if you want results l. If you have tried doctors that don’t listen to you and you are simply not getting better with your current treatment, I would give you them a try.

My husband and I just got transferred to this location. It is so much nicer and easier than their Carmichael location. It's drama free you don't see and hear clients cussing each other. Im so glad to be at the Orange Park location.

Well its free... However its state sponsored which means no smoking or vaping but theyll pump you full of nicotine patches til you puke. Need a suboxxone maintenance program? These guys will hook you up. Dont need a suboxxone maintenance program? These guys will get you hooked... I would give it 3 stars because its a mediocre facility IMO but the staff do really care and they saved my life when I ODd on fentanyl and my friends took me there. But if you need to go to rehab and you dont have insurance for a private facility youre really not in a position to be choosy are you?

If you've read the reviews and are still on the fence....just go. If you're concerned it might be a tad spendy....it's worth it. If you think it's odd that it's adult only and that you refrain from wearing fragrances...the dining experience is better for it. Jacksonville has few excellent Italian restaurants and La Cena is the solution. The atmosphere, the service and more importantly the food is incredible. The wine list is extensive. And did I mention? The food is IN-credible. Just go, you will not regret it and you will return.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works.
Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that,

I was forced to go to Lakeview but I'm happy that I did. I finally admitted that I was an addict and I needed help and I need to change my life. At first I did not want to participate or talk with anyone but after a couple days of hearing other people's stories I realize where I was at in my life and where I was going to end up if I continue. During my stay here I follow their program schedule and start going to the group therapy. For some you may think it's dumb, useless, waste of time but if you really just be more open-minded and use what they teach you it will make a big difference in your life. A big plus for me while I was here was the pool and the gym, never really use the pool but it is a very nice pool with a nice view of the pond I'm back to the gym the gym have everything that you need and yes they do have real trainers. You only get access to the pool and gym if you're in the store, php, and IOP if you're in stepping stone you're out of luck.

Thank you, Isabella and Natalia, for taking the time to tour me and discuss the program. Peace and Purpose Asheville are always looking to forge relationships with treatment centers and Lakeview's clinical staff are second to none, in my experience. They also have an awesome integration program which involves client exposure to the outside, where they go shopping and are involved with a lot of off-campus activities.
No hesitation recommending it as a great program for family and loved ones.

So anyone who needs help and wants sobriety I highly recommend Beaches Recovery. Chris Colcord is truly an angel and the staff at Tides, Mike, Lindsay, Celeste..my counselor Matt! Absolutely amazing team there. And then when you move over to Beaches, Elizabeth is the best therapist, constantly advocating and fighting for us..and the house techs Jennifer, Dawn and Sydney truly care and help with any and all that you need. I could never thank them all enough for everything and being apart of my journey in sobriety. I will forever be thankful. If anyone needs help call Chris Colcord..he'll fight to get you the help you need!

Stepping Stone was an amazing place to go for treatment. My counselors name was Patrick and he was there for me whenever I needed it the most. They have really good food there too!
I've been a patient here for a long time and have had quite a few counselors but Ms. Regina and Ms. Sandora are by far AMAZING!!!! They go above and beyond at all times. It doesn't matter the issue they always get a positive resolution. Anytime I need to talk their doors are always open. They truly listen and remember the things I tell them even though they deal with hundreds of people everyday. They show true compassion for each and every patient.

My fiancée and myself just switched from medmark after 8 years and I wish we left there SOONER! this place is AMAZING the staff is amazing that just makes you feel so much better my girl has horrible anxiety and this is our 2nd time here she had to do some extra paperwork and she thought the worst it took 2 mins and they jumped up to help her so fast and sat with her miss cynthia was amazing with her and helping her figure out what to do I have Tracey is my counselor and she is so nice and it’s nothing like our old clinic everyone is so kind and caring when you walk in everyone is always so nice it took us like a whole 10 mins if that to get a full week of take homes

Me and my hubby are transferred from Medmark and I’m so thankful we did the process was a alot longer then I ever had to deal with and it is 2$ more here I will still pick this clinic over that one ANYDAY of the week miss Cynthia is so nice before I even was transferred here she was helping me get my paperwork sent over and making sure I got it all the nurses are amazing there is 2 there I really liked but I forgot names I seen so many people but they help you with intake the nurse that is pregnant and will do bloodwork is amazing I have a huge fear of needles and she helped me get past the bloodwork part and got my bloodwork done on the first try and that’s shocking the other clinic would keep going even after 10 times then my counselor was out for vaction but they have a buddy system so someone is always there to help you! I have such a great counselor well buddy lol she was so nice and you can tell she cares I did have one good counselor at my old clinic but it seems like they are all great here everyone I talked to was really nice and even when I first got there I didn’t know where to go or even where to walk in and a lady there that was going there helped us and showed us where we had to go the building is a lot bigger then the other clinic the doctor was really nice they have a lot of windows so it’s fast my favorite nurse already is miss Lisa she was so sweet to me and she is a fellow animal lover she is the one that sold me on this clinic her and miss cynthia
I have been going to the vascular clinic due to chronic venous inefficiency. Yesterday, October 29th 2025, I had surgery to remove a "very bad" vein in my lower right leg. Even though there was a long delay because a pipe had broken in the basement causing electrical issues, everything went exceptionally well. I was treated with kindness and respect the entire time. The nursing staff were all amazing. I can't say enough good things about the anesthesiologist and his assistant. I just wish I could recall their names. They were so good to me and they explained everything they were going to do in great detail. They treated me with great respect. And finally, my surgeon, Dr. Scott Berceli. I could not have possibly been in better hands. He explained the entire procedure and met with my wife while I was in recovery. He explained everything to her as well, including what to do and not do during my recovery period. He is absolutely fantastic. I can not give the entire staff enough praise. From start to finish, it was awesome!

Experienced nurses and doctors, the staff is very helpful. Clean on the inside and out….even amongst construction pathways. Parking can be hectic, valet is nice. I live in Jacksonville and I will drive the hour and a half drive just to come here for care… it. It’s worth the drive. Thank you for serving us.

From the staff at detox, to residential llrehab, down to the front desk & providers for out-patient, they are all an amazing part of my recovery. I can't recommend FRC enough. This organization has truly been a life-changer and life-saver for me.
My journey with FRC began in 2007 when I was a patient receiving care. I was at the lowest point in my life after years of substance use and a near fatal suicide attempt. Under the care of Dr. Teitelbaum, The support I found there was instrumental in introducing me to recovery, and I am incredibly grateful for the nearly 18 years of sobriety I have today because of that start.
To come full circle and later spend over 12 years working on the incredible FRC Team has given me a unique perspective. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to witness firsthand the profound, life-changing work that happens there every single day. My appreciation for FRC, its mission, and its dedicated staff is immense. Unfortunately, I am starting a new job in another city to be closer to my family, but I will always carry FRC with me.

I came to the Florida Recovery Center a broken man, suicidal, no self-confidence, and a great lack of a sense of purpose and worth. Through intensive individual therapy, group therapy, recreation therapy, in-depth 12 Step assignments and application, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), a multitude of informative and illuminating lectures (medical, recreational, spiritual, relational), and a greatly supportive community of people all working on the same goal of sobriety and sanity, I have been able to begin my life anew.
I am now 90 days sober for the first time in 30 years thanks to FRC (Florida Recovery Center)!!!! I would not be alive to write this review had they not believed in me and, likewise, I had not believed and trusted the process.
YOU must surrender to the process, be vulnerable, and be willing to choose LIFE for yourself - a good life without dragging around the heavy burdens of guilt, shame, and regret.....BUT YOU have to be honest with yourself and them or it probably won't work.
