I was a teenager sent here from may to November of 1979.I seen multiple councilors a week every week.
Nancy and a lady named Joyce we called earth mother and Mike Elliot.My parents were a mess and caused me incredible emotional trauma .I got the chair for a few days for lying but overall I got help .I actually got better grades in school there then 4 years prior for skipping so much.I was sent there for being a chronic runaway with alot of home life problems.They took us out to events on weekends like the disco,Halover Beach, a few concerts as the guy John at the time was tight with Y100 radio station.Marsha was our driver everywhere felt bad we were not the best behaved teens. Bad thing was alot of romances happened there causing fighting amongst the residents. I guess everyone came out with a different experience mine straightened me out and helped my parents get a divorce .They were dysfunctional together and harmful to themselves.

I have been volunteering at Here's Help for 25 plus years. I have a son who made wrong choices in life. I wish I knew about this program 27 years ago! It is by far the best treatment facility and because of my son I know and see the difference from other rehabs compared to Here's Help.

I appreciate the staff working there. Nice and friendly and very understanding. I also love how they treat the patients, with respect and dignity. I recommend this place for your loved ones. Boca @ Pompano Beach taught me how to live again. They showed me there was a way to be happy and fully enjoy life to its true extent. I knew I was a strong woman but I had no idea how strong I actually was…15 years of drinking and Stage 3c cancer had really taken ahold of my will to live, but I got it back when I submerged myself in the program while I was there as well as when I got back to real life. This program saved my life in more ways than just getting sober. Life is truly amazing for me now, I wake up every day excited about doing all the things I can! This facility is great ! You get the comfort you need for a smooth transition. Clinical team is great, staff is patient and understanding, food is better than most, and nursing is attentive and will take care of you. This was my first time ever at a detox and what I could actually say is that this is the best detox. I’ve experienced lots of amazing food and the staff is great TJ Kathy Jen and Jonathan were my favorite out of the whole crew not saying that the rest of them weren’t respectful, but they were always accommodating me on my needs and checking up on me and making sure that I felt comfortable, especially with it being my first time ever at a detox treatment I definitely recommend this spot to people who are trying to get off drugs. I have lots of freedom. I’m able to have my tablet. They have amazing food. They’re super nice. They also give the shakes because I’m skinny. And it’s very well needed because I needed to gain weight and honestly, I’ve been here for four days and I’ve already gained 8 pounds

Yo this place has helped me tremendously when I was down and out. I successfully completed my detox and they assisted me into another facility for more treatment and made me feel as if I was taken care of and they would continue to support me although I'm leaving. Transitions Recovery Program in Miami didn’t just help me get sober it gave me a life beyond my wildest dreams. I walked in lost, broken, and unsure if real change was even possible. What I found was a deeply compassionate and structured environment that not only supported my recovery, but challenged me to grow in ways I never thought I could.
The staff is incredible many of them are in recovery themselves, so they get it. They met me where I was without judgment, but also didn’t let me stay stuck in old patterns. The clinical team, the group sessions, the one-on-one therapy, and even the everyday accountability they all played a part in reshaping how I saw myself and the world around me.
What really sets Transitions apart is that they don’t just focus on staying sober they teach you how to build a meaningful, fulfilling life in recovery. They helped me reconnect with who I really am, helped me process trauma, build healthier relationships, and most importantly, believe in myself again.

Transitions literally saved my life. It’s like no other rehab I’ve ever been at before, I’ve been to over 20 different rehabs and this one will definitely be my last lol. The staff here treat you like family and really care about you here. The outings were always so much fun, the groups were great, and I love how it’s a reality based program. 10/10 if you are thinking about coming here do it. We brought my son to meet Annie. Instantly she identified his issues and recommended the next steps to take. My son has been in residential care and Annie has been in contact throughout because she has our best interests at heart. URP truly saved my life. I began my journey at their detox center, Genesis House, feeling completely lost. Thankfully, after some incredibly compassionate staff encouraged me to stay, I decided to continue into their PHP and IOP programs — and that decision changed everything.
At the PHP house, I didn’t just begin healing — I learned how to live again. I learned how to be a person, how to be an adult, how to love myself, and how to show love and respect to others. I came in broken, and over time, I started putting the pieces back together.
There were so many moments I thought about leaving and going back home. But every time, the staff talked me through it. They encouraged me to give myself — and my recovery — a real chance. Because of that, I stayed. And now, here I am, 8 months later, living a life I never thought was possible.
Even though I’ve completed the program, the support hasn’t stopped. URP still checks in and continues to care. That’s not something you find everywhere, but you find it here.

This was by far the greatest recovery experience I've had to date. I was impacted by everyone in one way or another from Therapists to TA's, all the down to the client's. Pines recovery in Miami/ Pembroke Pines helps save my friends live. There medical detox program helped my friend through their withdrawals from fentanyl, benzodiazepines, and alcohol. My experience at Evolutions was a unique experience. It included detox, PHP and IOP. Each part of the program served different purposes that really helped me in my journey. The therapist are very knowledgeable and experienced. The BHT's give great support and structure that are vital to the recovery process. I would recommend this program for anyone who's in need for assistance.

The staff were great and caring food was good especially compared to other facilities I've been too. The rooms were comfortable at most times depending on the roommate. The bath facilities could be a bit better but again definitely seen worse. Nobody likes going to treatment, but they made the uncomfortable more comfortable.

Serenity Oaks changed my life. I went in a terrified shell of a person. I left born again, a new man entirely. The team of therapist is amazing. Jeff and Fumni especially, they saved my life. That place made me realize so much about myself I never thought was possible. Today I am clean and sober living a live beyond my wildest dreams. This facility changed the trajectory of my sobriety in my life. I gained a solid foundation of understanding Christ and AA. The people that work at this facility really do care. There are multiple people around you every day, with immense amounts of clean time who share knowledge and wisdom. This is by far the best clinical staff I’ve ever seen in my life.
