I was a teenager sent here from may to November of 1979.I seen multiple councilors a week every week. Nancy and a lady named Joyce we called earth mother and Mike Elliot.My parents were a mess and caused me incredible emotional trauma .I got the chair for a few days for lying but overall I got help .I actually got better grades in school there then 4 years prior for skipping so much.I was sent there for being a chronic runaway with alot of home life problems.They took us out to events on weekends like the disco,Halover Beach, a few concerts as the guy John at the time was tight with Y100 radio station.Marsha was our driver everywhere felt bad we were not the best behaved teens. Bad thing was alot of romances happened there causing fighting amongst the residents. I guess everyone came out with a different experience mine straightened me out and helped my parents get a divorce .They were dysfunctional together and harmful to themselves.

I have been volunteering at Here's Help for 25 plus years. I have a son who made wrong choices in life. I wish I knew about this program 27 years ago! It is by far the best treatment facility and because of my son I know and see the difference from other rehabs compared to Here's Help.

I can honestly say Transitions is the best recovery center I’ve ever been to. They are definitely not like other rehabs and I’ve been to many different places. What sets them different: there’s no judgement, you actually see your therapist, a psychiatrist, case management, and medical doctor 1-2 times a week, the groups are very beneficial and THEY TRULY CARE!! That’s by far the biggest thing. Staff all go out there way to care for us whether big or small. Housing is beautiful spacious apartments and weekends we do deep cleaning. Everyday there’s an outside meeting and H&I on property everyday but Sunday. Sundays we do outings as a community like the beach, top golf, or bowling. It’s a great way for us to all have fun at the end of the week. Shout out to the staff: Lori-Ann, Austin, Will, Maxime, Michael, Winnie, Summer, Tay Tay, Manny, Art, Dr. K, Jeff, Dr. Seely, Jennifer, and Shelly. Yall make this program worth being apart of. I would HIGHLY recommend joining this fellowship! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff at Transitions Recovery become your family. They care about your success. They help you find ways to believe in yourself when others said no to you. I came here as a Tina addict with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. As I finish my time at Transitions, I’m leaving with a group of friends, a home group, a sponsor, and a real job. I've been to a number of different treatment centers and I could not stand them, i didn't last long but I gave my sister my word that I would complete one so, I love music and figured at least I could sing and play guitar to deal with the same old b.s. and get through it. I was on my way to a grave for sure I was dealing with more then I could stand but I tried and was convinced it was just a matter of time and my suffering would come to a sad end. My sister gave me MJ's number someone that works for Recovery unplugged and not only was she kind n' cool she really cared so much that she stayed calling me into the late hours of the night i kept telling her i needed help and some how she got me to the detox in lake worth and rite away it was different i was blown away the staff the doctor's and therapy They have their are amazing.The meetings and groups are so heavy i don't know how but I was comfortable. The food and housing are awesome. The people there that I'm still with today at php are second to none believe me when I tell you I'm not an easy Person to deal with , but they put me at ease the caseworkers , everybody , I just can't say enough , this place gave me my music back and saved my life. thank you so much, I love you recovery unplugged.

Mental health wellness can feel overwhelming at times. We are so grateful we found AWA for our son. We sincerely appreciate the compassion, dedication, and support the entire team gave our family. Our son’s therapist was wonderful and worked with us weekly to help support and provide guidance to support our son with his anxiety. I’ve been at AWA for 7 months and a miracle it was, and at first you might hate it—you might not want to come. In my experience, I was hesitant, skeptical, and filled with anxiety because of my past experiences with mental health facilities. But AWA is different. It’s such a great clinic, and I’ve learned to love it here. The staff truly care about you and your family, and you’ll come to feel connected with the other clients. Some days you won’t want to go because it’s 20 hours a week and you might be tired, but if you engage and take your treatment seriously, you’ll find that coming every day is worth it. Yes, there is little to no drama, and even when it happens, no one holds a grudge for long because we’re always there for each other. Plus, they won’t leave you in the dark after treatment—they make sure you have a plan afterward. They also let clients be very involved in their treatment plans, and many of the rules can change if the majority of the group agrees. I also love how inclusive AWA is—from race, to gender, to sexuality. The staff will help and counsel you even if you’re crying in group. I know that sounds obvious, but the facility I used to be in didn’t do that. I remember crying in group and one of the facilitators pulled me out to counsel me, and when I was overstimulated, they gave me earplugs to help. At the end of my treatment, I would say AWA definitely helped heal me, and I would recommend it to anyone going through mental health problems it has been truly a blessing.

Oh where to start ! I’ll be brutally honest . This isn’t a 5 star resort. And my first week I wanted leave more than anything ! But I stuck it out . Your not caulded or babied here everything is not handed too you . You have to work for it and try . It sucks but this place and masterminds method prepares you for re entry to society. Life’s not comfortable, convent or easy . Neither is mastermind . But it’s brilliant it teaches you how to deal with frustration,and the chaos of life and the structure and discipline required to live it sober . The staff really care . The OWNERS are on site working everyday not out living it up like most business owners do . And they would give you the shirt off there back if you needed it . This program is unique and unlike any other . It’s not always comfortable and convenient but neither is life and recovery . I left with the tools and coping skills and resources to stay working annd stay sober you have to want it . Mastermind showed me and motivated me to go take my recovery and I can’t thank this place enough . Unlike any other place I’ve been to, the staff treated me with such a graceful and welcoming attitude. The whole facility maxes out at about 25 people so groups and therapy are all tailored to you. From the very head of principles down to the drivers you get the same consistency in willingness to help. Facility is ran smoothly with attention to detail including cleanliness. I highly recommend this to anyone I know in a similar situation especially if you’re indecisive on narrowing down the complex recovery network in South Florida.

I can tell you as someone whom has had great success in their own recovery. From Residential, to PHP, and IOP. Much of that success can be attributed not to just any one individual here at RTC. My experience was supported/elevated from and by RTC as a whole. The techs, are efficient, and always give their best, no matter the obstacle. Their facilitators are knowledgeable, well educated and informed on the many topics they teach; leading to genuinely great growth outcomes. The therapist on staff, are some of the best I've personally have had the honor to work with. They are among the many kind, caring, and dedicated individuals at RTC. I can also speak to the keen dedicated effort of management. As when an issue arose during my time in their residential program, the Executive Outreach Cordinator, Chris Lynch; as well as the rest of the team at RTC. Responded and addressed the issue with swift, efficient resolution. They say you'll get what you put into your recovery. This is very, very true. So if you give your recovery your all; Recovery First Treament Center will meet where you are at, and match your efforts.

Pines Recovery Life was absolutely the best choice I could’ve made to get sober and help save my life!  I’ve been struggling with alcoholism for approximately 15 years with limited success staying sober. I live in Savannah, Georgia and decided to attend treatment for my alcoholism in Broward County Florida for a new environment. Originally, I had difficulty finding a high medical detox facility that accepted my insurance due to my medical condition. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer this past March. Fortunately, Pines Recovery Life is one of the providers in my network with CHAMPVA that also provides a medically supervised detox program. The entire staff and my case manager went above and beyond to accommodate all of my medical needs. This included assisting with transferring my medical records from the cancer center in Savannah to a local hospital within 20 minutes of the rehab center, maintaining my doctor’s appointments, and most importantly ensuring that I was able to still continue on schedule with my regular chemotherapy sessions while completing my addiction treatment. They provided transportation to all of my appointments and even stayed with me for emotional support throughout the visit. This facility provided me with my own personal room with a full bathroom in the room with a queen bed! They went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout my treatment process! I was assigned to a therapist with expertise in addiction services who provided me with the tools to maintain my sobriety, moving forward along on my recovery journey. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone and everyone struggling with alcoholism or addiction!

I speak with a lot of clients and I am a pastor and I got my degree while I was in this facility. I can't say enough good things about this treatment center. Graduating from this program is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life, and I truly believe it saved my life. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with compassion, respect, and genuine care. The staff believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. They gave me the tools, support, and guidance I needed to rebuild my life and find hope again. The therapists, counselors, and everyone on the team created an environment where I felt safe to heal and grow. Recovery isn't easy, but having people who truly care made all the difference. The staff were great and caring food was good especially compared to other facilities I've been too. The rooms were comfortable at most times depending on the roommate. The bath facilities could be a bit better but again definitely seen worse. Nobody likes going to treatment, but they made the uncomfortable more comfortable.

Knowledgeable and kind are the two words that best describe the staff at Atlantic. Jeanie was amazing, over the months she helped improve my ankle strength after a bad break and tear. Knowing I’m a runner, she focused on getting me back into running shape, and strengthening muscles to make sure I was less prone to injury as I got back into my training. So lucky to have worked with her. Stephanie was always so kind and understanding over the months of scheduling. Making it easy to request additional sessions through my insurance. I’m so happy to have chosen this location for my recovery and while I hope to never have to go to rehab again, if life throws me a curve ball, I know who I’ll be reaching out to :)
