Nancy and a lady named Joyce we called earth mother and Mike Elliot.My parents were a mess and caused me incredible emotional trauma .I got the chair for a few days for lying but overall I got help .I actually got better grades in school there then 4 years prior for skipping so much.I was sent there for being a chronic runaway with alot of home life problems.They took us out to events on weekends like the disco,Halover Beach, a few concerts as the guy John at the time was tight with Y100 radio station.Marsha was our driver everywhere felt bad we were not the best behaved teens. Bad thing was alot of romances happened there causing fighting amongst the residents. I guess everyone came out with a different experience mine straightened me out and helped my parents get a divorce .They were dysfunctional together and harmful to themselves. gummybear2015 lol 1 year ago I have been volunteering at Here's Help for 25 plus years. I have a son who made wrong choices in life. I wish I knew about this program 27 years ago! They came right away and brought me to treatment. The nurse's there are 5 stars. The good and snacks vlare delicious and like a restaurant! There is movie night l, bingo, basketball, arts and crafts karaoke. We can wear our own clothes and are allowed mp3 players. The rooms are like hotels with your own t.v. I can't leave out the wonderful tech's, simply beautiful people work there. I've been twice and have been clean now since September 2026. Let me also mention and advise the IOP after detox. The bed was impeccable and I slept better there than I had in years. Facilities were clean and well maintained with a top shelf cleaning crew serving any need of accommodation, extra towels, general comfort, etc. More so, in the status of excellence were the staff. Technical assistant were very available and treated clients with respect and dignity. I consider them as friends and had many meaningful conversations both recovery focused and in casual company. Counselors and group facilitators were beyond reproach. I learned so much and took copious notes from group lectures and counseling sessions. I was a teenager sent here from may to November of 1979.I seen multiple councilors a week every week. Nancy and a lady named Joyce we called earth mother and Mike Elliot.My parents were a mess and caused me incredible emotional trauma .I got the chair for a few days for lying but overall I got help .I actually got better grades in school there then 4 years prior for skipping so much.I was sent there for being a chronic runaway with alot of home life problems.They took us out to events on weekends like the disco,Halover Beach, a few concerts as the guy John at the time was tight with Y100 radio station.Marsha was our driver everywhere felt bad we were not the best behaved teens. Bad thing was alot of romances happened there causing fighting amongst the residents. I guess everyone came out with a different experience mine straightened me out and helped my parents get a divorce .They were dysfunctional together and harmful to themselves.

I have been volunteering at Here's Help for 25 plus years. I have a son who made wrong choices in life. I wish I knew about this program 27 years ago! It is by far the best treatment facility and because of my son I know and see the difference from other rehabs compared to Here's Help.

I had the distinct pleasure of enjoying Dr. Mejia’s T.H.R.I.V.E. Training for the overall development and well being of our young girls and it was FANTASTIC! What I loved about it the most was that it was holistic in nature, and really delved into all of the risk and environmental factors affecting our girls, and Dr. Mejia provided participants with a multitiered approach to addressing those challenges and their needs. Truth be told, this is the very best services for detox and treatment that I've ever had the pleasure of getting myself together. The staff is wonderful, excellent! From the nurses to the tech's to the kitchen. Even very nice ladies come and clean the rooms. Shout out to Tony who is a straight shooter and will hold us accountable for the part we played in our addiction and our recovery. Mental health is also treated, they help dual diagnosis clients with mental health, addiction or both. The other shout outs go to Martha who was my counselor. She helped me so very much and she, like the rest truly care about helping you to be your best version of yourself. I learned a lot. And mS. Masha is also a straight shooter, I enjoyed her groups, Brad's group. Adam couldn't be more compassionate and understanding when I called sobbing and crying for help. They came right away and brought me to treatment. The nurse's there are 5 stars. The good and snacks vlare delicious and like a restaurant! There is movie night l, bingo, basketball, arts and crafts karaoke. We can wear our own clothes and are allowed mp3 players. The rooms are like hotels with your own t.v. I can't leave out the wonderful tech's, simply beautiful people work there. I've been twice and have been clean now since September 2026. Let me also mention and advise the IOP after detox. This is the next step, I've heard nothing but good things about it. I owe Evolutions my life, literally. Thank you Evolutions for all the very best help you provided me!!!!!!! Oh where to start ! I’ll be brutally honest . This isn’t a 5 star resort. And my first week I wanted leave more than anything ! But I stuck it out . Your not caulded or babied here everything is not handed too you . You have to work for it and try . It sucks but this place and masterminds method prepares you for re entry to society. Life’s not comfortable, convent or easy . Neither is mastermind . But it’s brilliant it teaches you how to deal with frustration,and the chaos of life and the structure and discipline required to live it sober . The staff really care . The OWNERS are on site working everyday not out living it up like most business owners do . And they would give you the shirt off there back if you needed it . This program is unique and unlike any other . It’s not always comfortable and convenient but neither is life and recovery . I left with the tools and coping skills and resources to stay working annd stay sober you have to want it . Mastermind showed me and motivated me to go take my recovery and I can’t thank this place enough . If you really want to recover it takes work and this program requires work just like life and recovery 110% recommend if your serious about recovery ❤️‍🩹

The staff was compassionate, professional, and truly invested in helping people move forward in recovery. John and Charles ran organized and insightful groups that made a real impact, and Joaquin was always involved and supportive as well. From the outset of my detox experience I was shown my room; it was spacious with a single bathroom and television. The bed was impeccable and I slept better there than I had in years. Facilities were clean and well maintained with a top shelf cleaning crew serving any need of accommodation, extra towels, general comfort, etc. More so, in the status of excellence were the staff. Technical assistant were very available and treated clients with respect and dignity. I consider them as friends and had many meaningful conversations both recovery focused and in casual company. Counselors and group facilitators were beyond reproach. I learned so much and took copious notes from group lectures and counseling sessions. My experience at Pines Recovery Life launched me toward my next PHP phase with such momentum I had begun to become crucially honest with myself and found extraordinary purpose in launching there and afterward to be well grounded in a recovery mindset and maintenance plan. Again, I'd like anyone considering this detox to acknowledge they will be participating in a well honed, well oiled machine of recovery support well beyong what you may expect at the level of detox. My comments are not complete without mentioning Billy, the General Manager. His humanity, warmth and demeanor had so normalized the institutional setting that a more in-depth ease of acceptance and self forgiveness was facilitated. Staff in general operated kindly and in kinship which was the most valuable aspect of management for individuals under, sometimes significant, duress.

The staff were great and caring food was good especially compared to other facilities I've been too. The rooms were comfortable at most times depending on the roommate. The bath facilities could be a bit better but again definitely seen worse. Nobody likes going to treatment, but they made the uncomfortable more comfortable.

Serenity Oaks changed my life. I went in a terrified shell of a person. I left born again, a new man entirely. The team of therapist is amazing. Jeff and Fumni especially, they saved my life. That place made me realize so much about myself I never thought was possible. Today I am clean and sober living a live beyond my wildest dreams. I owe the credit to the things I learned at Serenity Oaks. They give you all the tools you need to succeed in the real world. My daughter has been in Sylvia brafman 2 times. The staff r so amazing. I am always able to reach someone if I need to. They return calls . They truly care. The director deana is so amazing. Both times my daughter has been there deana has gone out of her way to help. That totally blows my mind. The director with all she has to do is still always available if I need her. Her counselor emily has also been awesome. She also calls me every Thursday to update me . I would totally recommend this facility to anyone.

I came to this place broken and lost but this place helped me to understand just how Jesus took my broken pieces and reforged them into a new creation in Him. They do NOT push any faith nor religion on you but help you see that with A.A./N.A and God we can recover from this affliction. They taught me that my disease wanted me alone and in despair but when I came together with another or more and spoke outloud what i felt they no longer held weight within. You want to recover with people who care whether yur religious or not i mean sumtimes yur doorknob has to be yur higher power for that day to get up turn that knob walk out the door and say "I'm ready for help". This recovery center is truly a blessing.. it has helped me with my walk with God. I have been to other treatment centers in the past, and have not gotten what I've gotten from JC's. The staff members truly care about what you're going through. Donna the case manager will go above and beyond to help you. Amber, Maxine, Brooklyn, Ms B, will sit and listen to make sure you feel safe and comfortable in your situation I am beyond grateful to each and every one of them for the time they spent helping me through.
