A very good lawyer got me out of Volusia County Jail after 41 days of incarceration and with the help of my sister got me into Stewart. After an intense 28 day 12 step program I was released. I took their suggestions and started going to meetings, got a sponsor and and didn't use for one day at a time. One of the most applicable things I learned in Stewart was to keep e/I. I still go to meetings and am greatful beyond words to their program. I've been clean from all drugs, one of them being alcohol, for over 39 years. If I can do it one day at a time, anyone can.
