Stewart Marchman Act Behavioral Healthcare’s Fentress Boulevard clinic is located in Daytona Beach, Florida. It provides drug rehab services to those with co-occurring conditions. Their rehab offers an enrichment program that specializes in providing psychological rehabilitation alongside dual-diagnosis treatment for those battling addiction. Th
A very good lawyer got me out of Volusia County Jail after 41 days of incarceration and with the help of my sister got me into Stewart. After an intense 28 day 12 step program I was released. During that time I learned many things that when applied, have helped me in life without drugs and alcohol. I took their suggestions and started going to meetings, got a sponsor and and didn't use for one day at a time. One of the most applicable things I learned in Stewart was to keep e/I. I still go to meetings and am greatful beyond words to their program. I've been clean from all drugs, one of them being alcohol, for over 39 years. If I can do it one day at a time, anyone can.

The IOP program here is amazing, would highly recommend it to anyone continuing on in their recovery journey. Lyma is an awesome therapist, in the group setting and in one on one sessions. Amy is a really helpful case manager and will answer any questions you may have and point you in the right direction of resources to help you. The men’s sober living on Concord Street is a really nice, supportive environment that’s conveniently located a two minute walk away from daily AA meetings. The house is run by Patrick and Glenda and they make sure you are well taken care of, make you aware of any and all resources available to help you get back on your feet, and really care about your success in your recovery.

Referred through Truehealth for adult outpatient therapy. Quiet and clean environment. Intake process is respectful, thorough, and informative. Telehealth services are offered. Fantastic sliding fee scale and low-income/underinsured resources/services offered. Lots of options for people looking to manage complex trauma. The medication clinic has some wildly rude staff but also very helpful staff, which helps offset the rudeness. The physician Anne Roy is great. No telehealth, which is inconvenient for anyone with transportation restrictions. Not easy to reach front desk and have to go in person for authorizations and any updates.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion shown by the staff at the Center for Discovery in Maitland, Florida. From the very beginning, they treated my daughter as if she were their own, walking alongside her through every stage of her recovery journey. Tristin and Kathleen, in particular, went above and beyond, providing not just expert care but genuine empathy, making my daughter feel understood and supported in every step. The admissions department also deserves special recognition for their dedication in ensuring my daughter received the help she desperately needed. Their commitment didn’t stop at intake—they continue to check on her progress, even after treatment, showing that their care extends far beyond the walls of the facility. As an overly involved parent, I needed constant communication, and the team was always on top of it. Whether it was updates, reassurance, or addressing concerns, I always felt informed and involved in my daughter's recovery. Like any treatment facility, they aren’t perfect, but the heart and commitment they have toward their clients and their families is unmatched. I knew then—and I still know now—that my daughter was, and is, in the hands of truly amazing individuals. If she ever needs help again, I have full confidence that she’ll receive the same exceptional level of care. Thank you, Center for Discovery, for going above and beyond for my daughter and for our family.

I've been at Center for Discovery in Maitland since I left residential at Monteverde and it has been a wonderful experience overall. I've received so much support from all of the therapists, dietitians, diet techs, etc. They take time out of their day to talk to you if you're struggling and the care is really personalized, they take a lot of time getting to know you even if you aren't their primary client. The staff has gone above and beyond to give me and my peers so much support.

Personally, I went to RAP in the midst of an awful drug addiction and this place saved my life, going back onto the previous reply about how the staff didn’t treat us well can be very misinterpreted. I found that some of my fellow clients thought the staff would be mean or seem to not care about our mental stability but what they aren’t realizing is that the staff are harsh for a reason. They do it out of love and although it may seem as though they just don’t care. When the staff were somewhat “harsh” to me or I’d get in trouble there, THAT is when I would do the most changing. Future clients can’t just expect it to me sunshine and butterflies all of the time, this is rehab, you are trying to overcome drug addiction and to me, I would have never been able to do it without them. With that being said, I highly recommend the Residential Adolescences Program. To the parents of those who are suffering, don’t give up. This could be your child’s last chance.

This place offers a safe environment off the streets and off drugs. October 6th I decided to get out from living in a tent for 5+ years and with an addiction that was fully running my life. Lifestream detox on Tally road saved my life. Not only did I have a safe place to detox but after three days they sent me to the hospital where I was out into ICU with sepsis and a spider bite with mersa along with my blood pressure tremendously low I kept passing out. I got hooked up with the Anthony house recovery place before I even left the hospital. A week later I returned to the detox to get my things and to discharge myself from lifestream. The Anthony house said bc it was on a Friday there was no way of transporting me to them so the only other option is have was the street and back in the environment with the drugs. I was able to talk with two the ladies who worked there and the company did pay the ride fare for Lyft to the Anthony house so I could start my recovery journey. I completed the residential recovery program and all their requirements. I started getting set up with GED classes they have there along with my case plan classes I was already required to take. Ex. Parenting, healthy relationships, co dependency, grievance, 12 steps, finance, and they do take you to NA meetings. counseling sessions with a great great counselor Ms Jamie. I've never had a great counselor I was comfortable enough to talk to till I met her. She goes above and beyond for her consumers/clients. There's other classes they provide. They do have a on site daycare for young kids. One thing I did struggle with was they didn't allow kids older then 13 years old. My kids are teens under 18. I started from my rock bottom in a tent out in the street with a huge drug addiction and 8 months later I'm following my dreams. I'm 9 months clean and sober with a career, a home/apartment, my family back in my life, my sanity and my life I was able to get all of it back with making that one step. I highly recommend this place. It's your recovery and sobriety and if you want it as badly as I did you have to consistently fight for your life and fight your self obsession to become a better version then what you were. #wedotecover #justfortoday

LifeStream Behavioral Center – Our Turning Point Ranch is a therapeutic group home for girls. They offer treatment for mental and behavioral health conditions, including alcohol and substance abuse. Update: I see the other reviews, and I cannot speak for the current situation. My daughter was at OTPR for 9 months in 2016, came home in January 2017. Was she “all better”? By no means, no! It takes time to work through the habits (suicidal and cutting). HOWEVER, my daughter is now 23. She is doing incredibly better, no bad happenings for since 2020, and even that was minor. Therapy, medication, living with other difficult kids… none of that is “the” solution. It takes time and firm continuous love and wisdom. OTPR was not perfect, but as the 7th (yes seventh) residential care situation, they did not close the door at 6 months and they believed that my daughter would get better. She’s past her teens, and she is doing awesome. 2016 - Our daughter has been at our turning point ranch for two months now, Who has regular suicidal tendencies since the age of 12. This is the first place that we've been to in four years with her that has been passionate and diligent to try to help her. Prior to OTPR, for almost 2 years she was on medicines That didn't seem to be helping her, yet the psychiatrists kept her on the drug. OTPR offered a genetic/DNA test and assessed her drug absorption based on her DNA. They found out that several drugs previously used before she came to OTPR not only doesn't work with her, but the side effects still happen! Thanks to OTPR's psychiatrist, we are starting to see improvement for our daughter. UPDATE: 9/2018 - First, this is delayed as My daughter left the facility in January 2017. However, I feel it is important to add a few small items. First OTPR didn't just cut us off after 6 months like the other 6 places did; they fought for time to get my daughter better. Further, the counselor was the only one who strategy worked - made my daughter think, dealt with confrontations. Last, yes, my daughter also complained about staff, but the staff is dealing with 6-8 "problem" teenage girls (not co-ed) every day - they have to manage exaggerations, lies, manipulations, defiance, etc. constantly. In my eyes, they did what they had to do. Firmly and consistently. Cliff

My husband just came back from a 5 day program and it had been more effective then any of the counseling that he had gone to prior to this. He has tried other therapist and nothing has worked better then this. This is worth the time and investment to do- I highly recommend it. It’s like having months of therapy put into 5 days. They also help you follow up with contacts after you are home- which is a tremendous help as well.
