I have been to SSRC twice in 2/25 and 3/26. After my first stay there I put together 10 months before going to the hospital and getting morphine thru the IV. When that happened I went back and graduated 2 days ago. I currently have 57 days and if I ever relapse that's where I would go again. It is solution based. We spend a significant time in the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is on a beautiful piece of land. There are outings to go bowling, put put, AA speaker meetings and the Beach. The initial phone call is with a gentleman named Ira and he genuinely seems to care. The Recovery Advocates Jeremiah, Mike, Drew and Ryan are incredible gentleman and help guide you thru the steps. The BHTs Thomas and Dakota are great as well. They are always there if your going thru something or just need someone to talk, to they made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. The nursing staff lead by Mille with John, Lisa, Carmon, Jennifer and Blaine are always there to m.ake sure your comfortable. And the Director Jason and office staff Michelle and Elena are 5 star A+++++ Overall it'd just an amazing experience. If your struggling with alcohol or drug addiction this is hands down the best treatment center and I have been to around two dozen Trust Good...Clean House...Help Others!!!!!

When I review a business, I'm of the belief no one is a 5 star and no one is a one star. I have been upset so much I felt like a one, but sanner heads prevailed. 🙂 I was only there for 8 days to detox. If you want to stay for approximately a month. You could do worse. I would have to say the staff is the best part. I had no issues getting anything. The facility is HUGE! They have a nice place to jog or walk. Decent size, clean pool, ample work out area. AA and NA meetings most evenings. In Detox you have a TV in every room. A couple criticisms. The smoking area is a tiny lil afterthought of an area, and you have to wait for certain times to smoke. As you may know there is not a bunch to do in detox, it would be nice to smoke at anytime. Food was great! Be careful, you may get fat. Hope this helped! Oh, one other thing. A small group of workers that seem to get forgotten, Housekeeping crew! They came through every single day and cleaned like they care. Showers were clean and sanitary, floors swept, windows and tables all good!

This place was an absolute God-send and saved my life. From the very start the place with its great employees at every part of the facility were compassionate and caring and made sure that my needs were met. My initial therapist Ashlee was absolutely amazing and helped me through major life crises that were occurring at the moment between my Mental Illnesses and Alcoholism. During this time I was able to reconnect with my loving parents and become a contributing member to the family as its only child. During the outpatient process, IOP Therapy I met with Dylan Martin And Martin Hawk - Both of these extremely qualified therapists worked out some very complex issues that still remained inside of me and the outpatient setting of being at home with my parents helped solidify our family and teach them about my Mental Illnesses and Alcoholism. I highly recommend any level of care from ORC Recovery to anyone that is dealing with ANY sort of crisis at the moment - don't sit in the dark with problems, make sure to seek help and help will find you. Thank you very much ORC. May you continue to serve the Orlando Area with Honor and Dignity.

I arrived unwell and left much better than I came in. The facilitators Tim and Greg are very very good at what they do. If you work the program you will be much better off than when you arrived. It is all up to you to decide what path you want to take. I really appreciated my time here in recovery and I left here feeling much better than when I went in. Thanks so much harmony hills. La Amistad has saved my life. Literally. The staff are well versed in human behavior and always willing to listen. The program has turned non-serving behaviors into components to building a happier, healthy, and more fulfilling life. The facility was welcoming as were the other patients. The food was great and the coffee plentiful. While no place or program is perfect, I would highly recommend La Amistad.

Break the Cycle Counseling was not something I was honestly looking forward to doing at first. It was court-ordered as part of the requirements for completing my probation, so I went into it feeling a little unsure about what to expect. I called and spoke with Susan at the front desk, and she was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful. She answered all of my questions and made the process easy from the very beginning. After completing my drug evaluation, I was assigned 12 classes with Jamie as my counselor. Jamie has brought up a lot of important points and helped me recognize things about my life that I had already started to see in myself. The classes have been easy to understand, informative, and, surprisingly, actually fun to attend. I want to sincerely thank Jamie and Susan for being so professional, friendly, and welcoming throughout this experience. Because of the way they have treated me, something I initially wasn't looking forward to became a much easier and more positive experience. It honestly seems like as soon as I walk in the door, I'm just about at completion. I only have two classes left, and I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by. I'm grateful for the experience and for the way Jamie and Susan have made the entire process so comfortable and positive.

Thanks to Mrs Ashley for being the best counselor. She was amazing and honestly really cool. She is strait forward and as long as you keep up with your homework and send it on time you won't have any problems. Easy classes and very quick. I'm glad I picked this online class, by the time I knew it I already graduated!!! (Quick tip) Just do ur homework ahead of time and just turn it in. Not all at once but at least you get it done and turn it in on the due date!! Thank you Break the cycle

Edit: i have to say this place turned around 🙏🏼 Waited 3hrs in waiting room in excruciating pain. Never offered wheelchair when I barely could walk. When I finally got a room although the nurse was super sweet. The hospital didn't tend to my symptoms. They also took an xray of my chest told me it was healthy and I'm fine. Even through I had fever chest head and stomach pain. the only thing they gave me was for my stomach. Yesterday I felt even worse so I decided to go to another hospital recommend by a friend (oviedo er). They told me I had pneumonia and suspected covid. After they gave me meds for all my symptoms I feel way better (still very sick) then I did a few days ago please don't go here

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune skin condition 2 years ago, and thanks to advanced dermatology I have been able to see improvement with my flare ups to the point that they are almost completely gone. I just left Heroes’ Mile about 2 weeks ago. When I first arrived, I had no idea what to expect. I was a total wreck and knew I needed help. It didn’t take long for me to get comfortable within the facility. It has a very homely sense to it. It’s not your polished tile, institutional environment at all. Very welcoming. In regards to the staff, where to start? Everyone there is incredible. I owe my life to the professionals that keep the gears oiled in that machine. Crystal, the director, she is full of positive energy and will take time out of her schedule to talk to you if you ever need her for anything. The therapists there are amazing and the food is great. I gained some weight there. Should have used the gym more. Haha. There is a lot of places to hang out in your free time. And one feature not mentioned by Google is the animals! Peafowl, Sand Hill Cranes that will hang out around you, a pond FULL of Blue Fin Tilapia, a little gator that suns in the evening. There is so much I could go on about. I would have to list so many names. Please, if you are reading my review and you are scared or unsure of how to make this move in your life, call Heroes. If they can’t help for some reason, they WILL find something for you. They care. I won’t live long enough to ever have the time to repay all the good they did for me.

This place has literally saved my life! I have been with New Seasons Daytona Beach Treatment Center for years now. Over two different locations. They have always been very patient centered. Obviously opoid addiction comes with many issues that need to be conquered in order to truly recover and stay clean. I have certainly had my fair share of issues in the years I've been with new seasons. Every time I have, they have listened to me, did not judge, and worked with me, diligently, to get me back on track with my recovery. They truly do care at New Seasons. And the guy that monitors the hallways and helps patients get where they need to be, Kevin, I believe is his name, he is Always so helpful and kind. He makes it a point to make eye contact with each patient as they enter, and say Good Morning! And it's genuine, not forced.

I didn’t understand the gravity of what brought me to La Amistad. I didn’t want to live in this world anymore. I didn’t want to be here. Today, I’m not 100% healed but I’ve made so much progress since getting out of treatment almost two years ago. Corey always told me the this was life or death and I didn’t really believe it until my last time in residential. So today I’m grateful. I’m grateful for the staff at La Amistad. For Corey, who never gave up on me even when I had given up on myself. For Becca, who sat with me even during her busy shifts to get me through the hard nights. For Dani, who taught me how to advocate for myself. For Miss Sharon, who pushed me farther than I thought I could ever go. For Alyssa, creating a group that really pushed me to stay well. I’d recommend this place to anyone considering residential, PHP, or IOP.

I stayed at the adult campus at La Amistad and I had a great experience. The groups done by Lindsey, Vee, and Dominique were amazing, informative, and helpful for recovery. Everyone who is a part of the staff was so caring and always tended to our needs especially Tara (my therapist), Sharon, Becca, and Philip. I want to give thanks to Julie and Toni who were always such sweet med staff. I always felt safe, the food was really good thanks to Ms. T and Daron, and I enjoyed my time there. I would recommend anyone who is need of a mental health residential treatment facility because going there was truly life changing and I know they would definitely be taken care of!!!

The people at La Amistad don't only exemplify the highest standard in behavioral health services but they have a compassionate result based approach to helping people like myself navigate the toughest of life's ups and downs from the group therapy settings that are judgement free and led by passionate councilors who practice what they are preaching. I have had the pleasure of getting help with my own dual diagnosis mental health issues resulting in the ability to become the best version of my self. Cory is one of the most approachable and compassionate people I've met and has helped me with everything from discovering my own potential, breath work practices that alleviate anxiety and how to let go of the traumas of childhood and adult struggles. I went in for involuntary detox. Since my experience at Orlando health was so bad, I think this place did a pretty alright job. Their staff is really nice and caring. They seem to try to do what is best for their patients.

Tristin and Kathleen, in particular, went above and beyond, providing not just expert care but genuine empathy, making my daughter feel understood and supported in every step. The admissions department also deserves special recognition for their dedication in ensuring my daughter received the help she desperately needed. Their commitment didn’t stop at intake—they continue to check on her progress, even after treatment, showing that their care extends far beyond the walls of the facility. As an overly involved parent, I needed constant communication, and the team was always on top of it. Whether it was updates, reassurance, or addressing concerns, I always felt informed and involved in my daughter's recovery. Like any treatment facility, they aren’t perfect, but the heart and commitment they have toward their clients and their families is unmatched. I knew then—and I still know now—that my daughter was, and is, in the hands of truly amazing individuals. I've been at Center for Discovery in Maitland since I left residential at Monteverde and it has been a wonderful experience overall. I've received so much support from all of the therapists, dietitians, diet techs, etc. They take time out of their day to talk to you if you're struggling and the care is really personalized, they take a lot of time getting to know you even if you aren't their primary client. The staff has gone above and beyond to give me and my peers so much support.

As a private practice therapy in the area, I can rest assured that referring clients to CFD Maitland, that they will be taken care of. CFD Maitland’s team is very efficient as far as cultural competency, ethics, and clinical interventions and skills used.

My 35-year-old daughter has suffered from Bipolar schizoaffective disorder, experiencing severe psychosis and mania since she was a young adult. The SMA Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Volusia County has been there for her in the darkest moments of her life. The caring, supportive, and professional personnel have provided treatment, medication and psychotherapy to help her manage the manic episodes. At least once a year my daughter has experienced a severe mental health crisis episode, and every time SMA CSU has provided a safe, secure environment to help stabilize and then return home. There is no other place in Volusia County providing the services like the SMA CSU successfully provides.

Placed had everything; exercise, weight training,food, class, treatment, (real pricks) or petty about tucking in your shirt or when you blew the sleeves off with your massive biceps. Weird at first but actually hated it when I had to pack up and get home.
