I feel very fortunate to have the Epic Recovery Center MARS program to help me with a very balanced outpatient recovery program. The combination of medical and weekly support have given me what I need to stay sober. The weekly meetings facilitated by Ann Mountain have been especially beneficial. I would certainly recommend the program to others.

7.53 / 10 | Dr. Paul’s by the Sea, in Saint Augustine, Florida, is a private dual diagnosis treatment center. They offer inpatient treatment and aftercare support, including intensive outpatient programs. They accept a wide range of insurance plans for payment. You might enroll in their medication assisted treatment program if you’re in alcohol or opioid | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This is the first time I've been in a treatment center. The faculty is outstanding, 5 star. They care. Always courteous. My favorite nurse is a lady named Toni. She just has what it takes to make my mind go somewhere else than on my problems of the day. She keeps a close eye on everything going on and the clients as they pass her station. She recognizes symptoms and actually stops me to see if I need anything to help at that moment. She's a great listener and I will miss her so much after I leave to start my new life of freedom from drugs and alcohol and my daily overall mental health. I want to thank the people of Spencer's recovery for the fine work they do morning, noon and night to keep everyone comfortable and in good spirits. I would suggest to anyone having difficulty in daily life to seek help. It's here. They are here for you. Their large, sunny, coastal neighborhood | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Words truly can’t capture how grateful our family is for everything The Augustine Recovery Center has done for our family. When our son came here, we didn't just find exceptional clinical care but we also found a place that treated our entire family like their own.The family program is unlike anything we could have expected. The family weekends brought us together with other families walking the same journey, and those connections have turned into lifelong friendships we will always treasure. It's rare to find a program that understands healing doesn't happen in isolation but it takes the whole family. That sense of community is something we never anticipated & will always be thankful for.
The environment there is warm, safe, and full of genuine hope–you can feel it the moment you get out of your car on the property. ALL of the staff go above and beyond in every sense of the word. My son’s case manager, Scott, is a true gem! His impact on our son has been remarkable. He provided us not just with support, but with real, tangible results & a restored belief that things could get better for our son and ourselves.

Our son went to Augustine Recovery Center for a 90 day program. He was a chronic relapser. We were worn out, scared, and yet still knew our son was always worth fighting for. We heard about Augustine from an interventionist. It was the BEST decision of our lives. Having other high end facilities let us down, not to mention the fees was disappointing BUT not this place. It’s not the just the place that’s so great——-it’s the ENTIRE staff. They are the best people ever. They actually care and love what they do. I’ll sing their praise until I die. Thank you ALL!!!!!💜🙏🫂

I came to Recovery Keys via a referral from the lead detox physician at the University of Florida. At that point, I was unable to even drive. My main addiction was alcohol. The program I entered into takes a three hundred sixty degree approach to the treatment alcohol and drug addiction. They use a complete approach, under the direction of physicians and addictionologists. Early on, I was not the easiest, most cooperative patient. As time went on, and with a great amount of patience and encouragement, I made substantial progress in controlling my addiction and actually understanding the root causes in order to carve out a new life. Around me I saw amazing progress among the other patients. The amount of knowledge, patience and caring at this facility is incredible. I am getting my life back and cannot express my gratitude enough to do justice to the program and all of those involved. Thank you.

Lakeview was amazing, it saved my life. It felt like a vacation, Its practically a health resort. It was so peaceful and serene. I felt I was cared about when cared for, I felt like they were actually invested in my recovery rather than feeling like a number. From the nurses to the blue-shirts, the therapists, the kitchen staff... everyone was so nice and supportive.
The food was amazing, honestly. The pool was nice, gym was immaculate. Yoga instructors were awesome. We went for surfing lessons, went out to a horse farm to pet and feed some little horses. You have a massage therapist come in, and someone to come in for haircuts. Theres even a little zen meditation room. The lake on the men's side is full of life, little ducks and geese, big bass and turtles you can feed - although I don't think you're supposed to, anyways. The facility is nice, its got a real pretty view, good food, great staff. I cant imagine how they could go wrong.
If I had to complain, the apartments, the PHP after the inpatient - the last period before you graduate... the apartments kind of sucked, but the comradery, the fellowship there.. it was a great place to transition back into the real world. And the girl at the window that took the cigarette and vape orders seemed like she was always having a bad day... but still. This place is amazing.
I love Lakeview. I brag about my experience there. I highly recommend it.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works.
Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that,
Thank you, Lakeview.

I often joke with my husband, if New Season sold a t-shirt I would wear it. I came here to say the same thing I happily see many other people have said. "This place saved my life!" Not just myself, but my spouse as well. I used to be homeless. I used to be a junkie. I have been so many different things in my life, however, I am no longer either of those. When I came into new season for the very first time I was alone, sweating, shaking, and so so sick. I had missed the intake hours by about 20 mins and I remember feeling so defeated knowing I missed it and would have to go use again to feel better. Tears started streaming my face and the director saw me, introduced himself and personally saw to it that I was able to do my intake and get the medication I needed right away. From then on I met so many wonderful people who have worked under the roof of new seasons Jax, formerly metro Jax for those of us who have been around a while. I can promise you that if you are stuck in that same cycle of out of control addiction and do not know what to do, just give them a call and ask some questions. Work this program the way it is intended and you can get your life back. Going to new season was the best choice I ever made. I am in a place I thought not possible. Thank you New Season.
I would also like to put on here, just for the feedback of new season, the old director Shawn/Sean is a very special person and we all miss him dearly, we wish him the best. Personally, myself, I wish I could thank him with his work regarding grant funding, this has helped so many of us after the cut of the healthcare credits last year. Lindsey Gainey will also be greatly missed and was a gift from the lord, this woman helped me at some of my very lowest points. Special shout out to my current counsoler Beth, who is wonderful! I could not ask for a better counsoler and would be devastated if I ever lost her. Ashley Brown, one of the finance officers is always there to answer my questions and ease my mind when it comes to insurance or dosing payment questions, she's amazing. Last but certainly not least, a special thanks to Kenya, who is so hardworking, caring, and pious. They all deserve a huge round of applause and frankly a raise. While I'm at it I will give praise to the nurses in the dosing windows who are the true unsung heroes when I show up 30mins before close to pick up 13 take homes, I am eternally grateful.

Every group is informative and gives you the tools to exceed quality sobriety! This program is not for people who need it, but for people who want it! One of the greatest things I have learned in this program,is I had to change myself and my old behaviors (not just the ones I wanted)...but all of them! I have been here for 5months and I am truly not the same person that walked in the door on December 31! The administration, staff and clients have helped to make the man I am today! Thank you Transition House! I can truly say I love Christopher Stewart!!!

Edit: I ended up back for a different reason and I have more now to say and would honestly increase my star rating if I could.
I personally am writing this after leaving recently. The professionalism was maintained by the entire staff under the duration of my visit. Which while wasnt where I needed to be fell onto me for a lack of appropriate paperwork. And while I witnessed this staff not crack or break during what I would consider was an extremely stressful couple of days for all of them, (the jobs difficult let’s be honest) not only was everything handled so ever appropriately I would say some staff went above and beyond to ensure all patient needs and concerns were met. If I were ever in a position where myself or a loved one would need to be entrusted under the care of someone seeking help, I would say yes to them. And if I can remember some names I would say Felicia, Alexis, Jada, Richard, Austin, the Clinical Director, Christina, there were too many names so I apologize but from the Past two days please if anyone sees this, they all Deserve any level of recognition from the professionalism under the circumstances they were adapting to around the clock. Even the Physicians professionalism and understanding and urgency. Now I will not be coming back maybe for some outpatient family therapy or whatever “NAMI” is. The place continues to improve yet somehow has a bad rap.
Past post: I came here voluntarily because I drank a lot fully triggering some heavy anxiety. Upon coming to and waking up I was in a lovely unit I think 600? With a taper in my system I was seen by a medical doctor and psychiatrist in a timely manner and given some new appropriate medications to help with alcohol cravings and an ssri. I thoroughly did enjoy my stay and the staff was wonderful from day to night shift. All the people were kind to me and the other patients and extremely helpful. There were plenty of activities planned in a timely manner throughout the day and the staff also keeps you informed of who called for you. If necessary I’d recommend this place as for me I won’t be going back and moving forward with a new perspective. Thank you to everyone in my unit 600 stay that helped me and answered my questions.

Edited review done on 1/7/26*...If you have seen my previous reviews, then you know that this place has a history of having super long wait times, really bad Program Directors, and a lack of corporate support. However, If I can report the bad, then I can also report the good. We got a new director and she has been phenomenal, especially when she's compared to some of the prior PDs, and I have no complaints about her. She has stuck with her agenda and it's clear that it involves improving the client's experience on a day to day basis. The holidays were rough but since then they have hired more nurses who started after the first of the year, so the wait times are much shorter (they were over an hour and they're around 10-15 mins, now. The clinic has improved immensely but it still feels like it is overwhelmingly overcrowded for it's size, which makes it nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone when you call. However, I can live with those things a lot better than having to wait an hour every time I go. I would still recommend going to a different clinic, if it's at all possible, but for different reasons than I did in the past. Now, it's just because the clinic still seems overcrowded but pls don't hesitate to come here if you don't have a choice or if the choice is this place or getting high. As always, the nurses at the window are top notch human beings and they're some of the best around. I truly appreciate them and their patience. Good luck and God bless

This place has made a real turnaround, and I can honestly feel the difference. Having Security Officer Smith here means everything to me. He greets us every morning with respect, makes sure we understand the new rules, and creates a sense of safety I didn’t realize I needed. Ever since he started, the parking lot has been calm and problem-free. After being attacked last month, walking in here was scary for me… but knowing he’s there makes me feel protected again. I’m truly grateful for him
