if your looking for a mini VACATION this is the spot. If your actually looking to DETOX good luck trying to sleep in the day time with residents being loud as they want nevermind the creeking floors. Told I wasn't being med compliant for not wanting to take numerous substances I'm addicted to. The final last straw was being threatened to be kicked out by the nurse while I was struggling to regain consciousness with all the "medicine" I was on. I could barley keep my eyes open yet understand anything that was happening in my surrounding areas only to be threatened to get kicked out for not following the rules when I'm literally barley even conscious is actually absurd. Also a client touched my food while on a behavioral contract in the kitchen which clients are not allowed to be in took the cylifain off of my plate right in front of me and contaminated my dinner. They have absolutely zero protocol with searching the client that's being admitting meaning you can sneak in whatever you please and a client that's been in this detox before sure took advantage of that and brought substances INTO the DETOX facility. Also their "men's residential program" is literally just a php program not a traditional inpatient rehab one would think about when a program is labeled with those words. All of this happened in a manner of 48 hours of my stay here, clearly my experience is my experience I wouldn't let my review detur you from getting the help you need. I just felt the need to write this review because I already don't have a voice, and to be mistreated like this by a NURSE of all people is cold and heartless. Of all people you'd think they'd be most understanding not making threats to the sick and the vulnerable.

I highly recommend Pacific Crest to anyone searching for this type of help. I was nervous about admitting myself but I’m so grateful to have found these guys. It was very comfortable, the food was amazing and all of the staff were so incredibly supportive helpful and beyond kind. By the end of my stay there I almost didn’t want to leave! Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal. The length of stay at the detoxification program is determined according to the specific needs of the patient.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

My experience at Oregon trail detox was exceptional. Qualified caring nursing staff in the house 24 hours a day. They are all so supportive and understanding, as well as very knowledgeable about withdrawal symptoms and treatments. I can’t say enough excellent things about them. The house was quiet and comfortable, at least while I was there. I’m sure, depending on the current clients, someone else’s experience may be different. A NP saw me five of seven days in person at the house, and the other two days were on a Zoom call. Any and all issues were addressed at these times. A 180 from another facility I was at prior. I really had time to reflect, and the support was amazing. I’m on day 14 now, and feel a lot of peace with my recovery this time around. Still keeping up with my 90 in 90, some are on Zoom if I’m working a 13 hour day, but haven’t missed a day yet. Everything AA and meeting finder apps have been very helpful with this. I did accidentally attend an in person men’s group, oops! But, the moderator asked if I needed a meeting, I said ‘yes’, and asked me to stay, so I stayed. I loved it! BTW, I got this meeting from an outdated book I got, ironically at a women’s meeting. Highly recommended this program for anyone looking to detox and stay sober.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Leah, thank you for your review. More importantly, thank you for doing what you need to so you can stay sober!! We are always here to help people who are struggling, and our primary goal is to work ourselves out of a job, one addict at a time. You are a major miracle!! Best, Ben 503-901-1836

PCTD is by far the best place to go for detox and recovery- after 30 years of battling addiction and alcoholism, I would never go anywhere else- from the detox staff and facility, to the counseling and aftercare programs, you CANNOT go wrong with Pacific crest! They genuinely care about their clients, and it shows! Julie Helvey

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Julie, thank you very much for your compliments. We have an amazing team who really do care about our clients. We wish you all the best as you move forward into your recovery. Best, Ben Randolph

Nice quiet house converted into a treatment facility with a great attentive staff shout out to patty for the amazing home cooking, 3 meals a day, snacks set out, and the nurses are on site ready to help ease the transition. I was there for almost a week and it was me and two other people the whole time. I’m telling you right now if you don’t have Malibu springs money this is the next best thing. I’ve been an addict for almost 20 years I’ve been in and out of jails prisons and institutions and I have never come across a more caring staff.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Thank you Jonathan. I know last summer I was working at the detox and Patty fed me breakfast and lunch. I wanted to move my office over there! Best, Ben Randolph

Went into the detox program for a week and am now in their sober living program. They've helped me change my life for the better in so many ways. The staff are wonderful people. The food is better than expected, and they take good care of you. If you're looking to get help, they're willing and would love to have you.

Be not afraid! :) when I went in for detox I was skeptical that the MAT would help and afraid that the experience would be horrible. Detox isn’t fun but the expert team at Pacific Crest made it feel like a minor inconvenience. The staff were incredibly sympathetic, responsive and easy and available to talk to. As I started to come back to myself, they chatted with me and helped me cope with the changes, encouraged my newfound excitement and helped me plan my new life. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Thank you so much for the positive review. Our staff does their very best to provide the best quality care every day, for every client.
