I had my first experience and intake with Kimberlee and Shannon and Jewel the horse. It was great. Jewel was in a pasture/barn she hasn't been in before so she was a little distracted by the new dry grass to eat but it's ok. I get it and it's not Jewels fault and it was the intake session. I still got to interact with her and Kimberlee and Shannon were fantastic. I already have a psychologist I see monthly since my TBI, but this is different with the horses and a new therapist and I don't mind adding tools to my toolbox to help me be my beat self and I grew up around horse and had one as a kid so this is great for me!
I appreciate Kimberlee and Shannon's experience and I loved learning that Shannon get me as she too is a TBI survivor so that felt good and right, made Forward Stride feel like that much better of an experience. One session down and can't wait for many more!

This place is horrible about sending out documents from their company- they are not professional- everything is verbal and thru emails- no structural documentation on what the they require is sent out in company letter head so you are having to ask to get stuff sent. As far as important stuff as UA testing and what they require they are horrible! They never sent me anything- they told me to send in UAs without any instruction from them on what they wanted and it was a nightmare- I ended up doing 3 months of UA/s before they said the tests were wrong - not to mention they changed my therapist 3 times - this place is a you know what nightmare- DONT GO HERE they have no personality and no relationship and no connection and they really screwed me over really really good - any way it’s a long message but it’s worth writing because I m telling you there are better places then this heel hole!!!!!

I then got a call from management because I gave them a bad review and they wanted to fix the problem! Norma Castillo, the manager, works very closely with the Lewis County Prosecutor's Office (like weekly) and will gladly throw someone in Deferment under the bus to give the PO a added prosecution. I was in a program for 2 years with no issues (other than the one's made up by Norma) then in my last month they played games with not giving me my UA on time and waited until the last 2 days of the month and then said that I falsified my UA. I sued Eugenia center and got nowhere because they have the PO's office/ Lewis County in their pockets. I now have overwhelming costs due to having a IID for 5 yrs instead of 1.5 yrs because of the way the WAC DOL law is written. They don't teach you much that's useful and play games in class instead of really teaching you how to become sober long term. They don't really care about their patients, just the money!
Go to New Directions in Chehalis instead!! They have good Counselors and they aren't a big waste of time and a big joke like Eugenia Center. (I previously went to other treatment facilities and failed they didn't have or offer the treatment this place does...) they help me see I have a life worth saving! They help me fight! showed me how to live a clean and sober life! Showed me what sobriety really is (which again the other facilities failed me) Do you wanna know who helped me down the road to recovery? Kasey! The one everyone has something to say about! Well if it wasn't for Kasey helping me, pushing me, fighting me, caring for me... I wouldn't be alive today to write this review! She showed me I was worth fighting for that it was going to be a hard ugly in road to recovery and that it tough but if I really really want it I can have it! I just have to fight hard as hell and recovery isn't for lazy LOL... That recovery is a lifetime of work that never stops... Thank you for helping through the hardest thing I have ever been through! NEVER GIVING UP ON ME!!! Also thank you to everyone one else that has been through this long journey with me and helping me when I hand no one else....
