Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride. The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. They challenged me, listened to me, and gave me advice and suggestions I have taken to help me soar. If you're struggling, you don't have to do it alone. My decision to attend treatment was one of the most important decisions of my life and I could not have made a better choice than Treehouse Recovery. This was my first time in treatment and I was terrified while researching places to go. Recovery is rarely a straight path. For me, it was marked by multiple attempts—each one beginning with hope and ending in frustration. I wanted sobriety, but wanting it and sustaining it were two very different things. Each setback carried shame, doubt, and the quiet fear that maybe lasting change just wasn’t meant for me. Six years ago, everything shifted—but not for me at first. It was my husband whose life was saved by Treehouse. Watching his transformation planted a seed in me, even if I wasn’t ready to fully act on it yet. When I finally completed my own inpatient program, I was fragile but hopeful. For a full year, I worked on myself in ways I never had before. Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above.. Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. But this place plants seeds that lead to a life of substance free Bliss!! The acupuncture in the AM and evening AA/NA Meetings meant everything to me.

This is an amazing treatment center. A staff that are both well trained and genuinely care about their clients! An absolutely AMAZING facility and staff. This facility doesn't feel like you're in an actual medical detox, it feels more like house sitting for a friend but having access to a doctor/nurse 24/7. You can bring books and stuff to draw/write/paint and they will let you bring nicotine products like vapes and cigarettes in. They have a TV in living room with all the major streaming platforms like Netflix/Hulu/Prime/HBO and a few others They got me a bed and in very quickly and the intake process was also fast and not super invasive. Staff was very friendly and caring. You get 3 home cooked meals a day and they are GOOD. It's not some slop on a tray like jail or hospital food. They provide you a myriad of comfort medications and you don't have to argue and fight with them about it. They made sure I knew that I could come ask for more if I was feeling unwell. To top it off they really care about getting you into an aftercare program and getting the help you need to get back on your feet afterwards.

This recovery program changed my life. Another Chance helped me get into sober housing my first day of treatment; the manager has now asked me to be the assistant house manager of that house, and I have been sober for 5 months now. This is all due to what I’ve gained from the classes at Another Chance. The counselors at Another Chance truly care about their clients and promote long term sobriety through community supports. Counselors teach through discussion based classes around psychotherapy, recovery, coping skills, and self sufficiency. The counselors work with each person to make their recovery “work for them” when it comes to making a schedule/requirements for their program. It really is so supportive and encouraging it makes me want to be there every day unlike any other program I’ve ever worked before. I encourage everyone to give this program a chance.

She gave me false info. Told me I'd get my certificate a week after completing. And now it's going on two months and still haven't received it yet.

Bridgeway was amazing, my friend took me here after another 5 day black out after I had been sober for 33 days. The counselors & the rest of the staff here were amazing & incredibly helpful and understanding, then after talking with the counselors I decided to do residential treatment which was just as amazing. I’m doing outpatient treatment with them now & I’m coming up on 90 of sobriety on 7/31/25, life changing experience & im so greatful for this program.

I could not be more thankful for everyone at this detox center not only did they help me with my insurance to get me into the Detox they also worked tirelessly to get me into a residential treatment facility and succeeded. Can’t smoke is the only downside but the food was incredible every meal!

This place made a big difference for my child, and that is all that really matters to me. I will say, they could have HUGE improvements in parent involvement, parent education, and family therapy. At times, they seemed almost anti- parent, which seems to me to be a strange approach to recovery. My ex and I were left on completely different pages as to next steps for our child. They should take a note from Clementine which has great support for parents. But, my child is doing well, and I'm thankful.

Wanted to thank the staff and everyone who was in here at the same time as me. I didn't come here entirely on my own free will, but because I was kind of cornered into it by my therapist. And I wasn't happy about putting my life on hold to be here. But now I see why she really wanted me to go. I had no previous experience with programs like this and didn't know what to expect. And you can bet I doubted everything every step of the way. I still do in some areas. But the longer I was there, the more I saw a difference and realized why things are done the way they are. I got a lot out of the program in the relatively short time I was there and have seen a big difference in my eating and thinking. And also in my physical health and brain. My memory has really noticeably improved and so has how I feel physically. And I've felt so much calmer and happier compared to before I went in. Turns out eating consistently helps you not feel like you're in fight or flight all the time, who would have thought haha.

this has been the best eating disorder treatment center i have been in! yes, they did make me eat food and not engage in behaviors but i don’t feel the need to anymore! lauren has been very helpful to my recovery! she deserves a raise for all the work she puts in. anyone can see how passionate she is about her job! ari is an amazing therapist! amanda is doing an AMAZING job as clinical director! she is determined and dedicated to helping others live eating disorder free! all the staff is amazing and wonderful! 10/10 would recommend! #edfree

Honestly, i can into this program due to court situation, but the knowledge a d experience that i had obtain while being involved has opened my eyes in a more positive way. Beyond the obligations, and individual mindsets about counseling; the peer groups gives an insight of how the communication really helps ones daily circumstances. Which i truly enjoy the most, education classes create a foundation on how to accommodate certain situation in a way you would really consider choices. Overall that staff are one of a kind, unfortunately i had to enroll based of misfortunate decision, but ive considered staying involved with this organization after its over. And i for one can say ive never thought of counseling as an idealistic thing; they've changed my thinking for the better.

Looking forward to my next appointment except not sure when this is and don't understand why I don't have a date for an appointment and haven't been contacted to schedule. At the point that many of us seek therapy we're already very overwhelmed and exhausted. So was my case. I reached out to LifeStance as I had previously sought care with Western Psychological now LifeStance. I experienced kind, professional attention. Scheduling didn't take long and the registration process was easy to navigate. I've been working with provider, Garrett Wheeler and have been having a very positive experience overall. I'm the kind to run when the process gets uncomfortable. That has yet to happen. If you're in need of talk therapy I recommend LifeStance.

I can’t say enough good things about Michael Crose. Going through a DUI intake isn’t exactly something you look forward to, but Michael made the experience feel human. From the start, he was easy to talk to; genuine, respectful, and clearly someone who cares about people, not just paperwork. He made me feel comfortable, never judged, and even found ways to bring some lightness into a heavy situation. It might sound small, but when we starting going off about sparkling water he mentioned his love for watermelon Waterloo, felt like I was talking to a real person, not just a counselor checking boxes. He treats you with compassion and makes sure you understand every step of the process. Keep kicking ass, and thanks for making something I thought was going to be stressful.. not!
