A wonderful place surrounded by beauty. Excellent staff from the professionals through the kitchen staff and dining staff Felt very welcoming at all times. A lot of very dedicated people who show that they actually really care and aren't just doing a job. I really liked that a lot of the counselors and care coordinators were also in recovery. Made it easier to be open and honest with myself and others.

Great facility, nurses, counselors & doctors were all good to work with, highly recommend if you’re seeking a PHP facility. Nice to be able to keep your mobile phone, make sure you don’t bring anything that has lavender in it toiletries, body washes, etc. with lavender aren’t allowed. Be aware no electrolyte powders, tablets etc. they also not allowed. You can order Amazon to get extra food, beverages, or other items you may need or want. The cafeteria food is good, you’ll be eating a lot of chicken while there. Overall I strongly recommend this place, I wanted to list a couple things I didn’t know prior to walking in the doors that would have helped me. Also if you’re male and are in TRT have your doctor get you refilled before you go that was a bit of a hassle for me while there.

I have been in their program since Nov. 2023 and they told me I would graduate within 6 weeks. I'm still there and the reason they're not letting me graduated is because I had one positive UA for Codeine which was traced back to poppy seeds in a seasoning I used once. I'm not, and never have been, a drug user. I'm an alcoholic and this was an honest mistake, but they are adamantly holding onto the position that the whole staff agreed to put me back in a higher level of care (I know this is not true because I talked to 2 of the clinicians who said they didn't agree with this decision and the director of services won't waiver). I believe this all abut money. I'm a paying client and when I graduate, they lose my contribution. Super frustrating when I have worked so hard to achieve sobriety for the last 2+ years!!

i’m not sure if she still works with sound health but jessica was a wonderful psychologist for me. living in seattle was hell and weekly appointments with her made it bearable. although the northgate building is in a rough area, Jessica and staff alike created a home-like environment for me and i was able to rely on it heavily. even a year + later the warmth and kindness shown to me by jessica, kate, and carly ruminate in my mind like a safety blanket. dr.pascoe was lovely as well.
weekly dbt and relationship group meetings including other like minded teens provided me with a sense of belonging and family. with an abusive home life and challenging school environment, the group therapy i attended was the loving community i needed. i still have the therapy worksheets as memories and references from our sessions together. i think about them often and hope their doing well.
the impact they’ve had on me is immeasurable, and for that i’m truly so grateful. i miss them dearly, as they were a resource for me when i was desperate for an outlet. someday i hope to provide someone with the same compassion and support that was given to me. the gratitude i hold for them is infinite, i wouldn’t be where i am today without them. ❤️🥹

This place saved me.
At first arrival, I was sketched out for sure. I was about to leave when two of the staff, Scott and John spoke with me and put me at enough ease to check in to the detox facility. I had so much trepidation but once I was in, I was so happy I stayed. Each and every one of the staff is amazing! From the nurses who are awesome(Boo especially), the BHT’s who genuinely care and go above and beyond to bring as much comfort as possible during my stay, to the therapists and medical clinicians, all were a huge part of my recovery. Even the C level, Bethany was present and available when needed.
The food was great and regularly improving.
The beds were comfortable, rooms are basic but everything that is needed. The room I was in had a Roku tv so I was fortunate but from what I heard every room will be getting one which is nice to be able to be able to secluded myself when I wanted and just zone out to shows to pass time.
All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this facility for any detox needs.
