I did intake here originally December 2020, but have courtesy dosed here before. It is by far the best clinic in the Pacific Northwest. Previously I attended several clinics in Seattle.It is important to understand that they are doing the best that they can with the number of people that they have. I have seen job postings for nurses on their website for years. It is not their fault nurses join and leave so abruptly or are hard to find and hire.Then you have the patient count that has steadily been increasing. Most stable patients qualify for take homes fairly fast, so don t expect to have to go daily for too long. There will be days the wait will be long. That s just life. People take vacations. Shit happens. Relax and get your dose.

Awakenings by the Sea is an outstanding inpatient treatment program on the beautiful Oregon coast. If you struggle with addiction and are ready to reach out for help, this is the place to call. They definitely focus primarily on treating substance abuse/addiction, and somewhat address the mental health piece of it. This was truly a life changing experience .The staff are so knowledgeable and kind .From the minute I walked through the doors I felt cared for and understood. people and the staff are more then willing to do anything to help you even if it’s just finding resources, i just got out of detox today and i did NOT want to leave, i came there thinking there’s no WAY i could stay 7 days and when the 5,6,7th day arrived i just did nOT want to leave it was a bitter sweet ending i felt so safe it’s like a legit house and you have your freedom to do whatever i could bring my vape pretty much anything you can bring there that isn’t drugs i felt so safe and taken care of it was the easiest detox ive ever been through i will be recommending pacific crest trail detox to EVERYONE who needs to go to detox there is NOOOO better place in oregon to detox than pacific crest trail. i thank all you staff members there for being so kind and patient and lifting me up and always willing to listen please go here if you are considering detox

I went to Cheshire 6/2/22 – 8/18/22. Was the best experience. I have never been more happy. Hunter was my counselor and he was the absolute best. He truly cares about his clients. The staff at Willamette Family is caring, helpful, respectful and they understand what we are going thru. Willamette helped me with a plan for when I left. I was in a deep, dark place this time last year and Cedar Hills took me in with open arms. I had never done an outpatient mental health program, I was feeling really insecure. The staff was wonderful, it felt great to have everything managed in one place. Frequent medication changes proved to be so helpful. This program allowed me to get back to the basics of self care, along with depression and anxiety management. I graduated April 2024 and I m a different person. I can go to work, I can safely express my emotions, I can verbalize my needs, and I understand that I have worth. After withdrawing for 24 hours on my own I went to Bridgeway to detox off of fentanyl and meth. I only stayed for 3 days because that was as many as I felt I needed. My personal experience fantastic. Anytime I didn t feel well I was able to talk to staff and they would administer my own personal medication I brought in as well as the detox meds they have on hand. The food was amazing. To be able to have people specifically making you healthy food for 3 large meals a day and more if you want. Along with soup in between breakfast and lunch and a refrigerator full of milk and beverage machines in the kitchen. You re not forced to go to bed at a certain time you can watch movies all night or color and read. You can t have your cell phone with you so be prepared if that s a dealbreaker for you. Your not forced to participate in any groups or extracurricular activities like that if you don t want to. You can shower whenever you want as well as go outside. No smoking but they have nicotine gum and patches. I was there a few months ago but im still clean off of fentanyl and meth. Even with meds you re still gonna be uncomfortable to a certain extent. One of the nurses even sat and talked with me for a long time the first night I was there and couldn t sleep. My personal experience was nothing but positive and I would highly recommend it to anyone whose tired of being trapped in addiction.

Bridgeway was no doubt,the beginning of the end of my addiction. I came in hopelessly addicted and had no idea of how I was ever going to get clean and stay that way. The people there truly cared about me and getting me help. I ended up at Adult and Teen Challenge which is a year long faith based recovery program and discipleship where I began my relationship with Jesus Christ. I am now 2 months into an internship with ATC and 15 months clean and sober thanks to the family of friends at Bridgeway and I am forever grateful to them for helping save my life.

1000x better than allied, been here since 2020 and was at allied for 6 years before that. People and councilors will tell you that this place is a “Juice Bar” but what that actually means is that you can balance being an everyday patient while working a job and living a life. You will NEVER I repeat NEVER be stuck here for 2-6 hours because some councilor wants to punish you for missing your groups or appointments. All services are offered here if you want them, you aren’t forced to do them. You’ll never wait more than 15 minutes to be dosed, and it’s all about recovery at your own pace because we all know it’s all about how badly an addict wants to get clean. No amount of weekly allied groups, bottle returns, dose holds and forced counseling sessions makes you more clean or less of an addict. So dont let that discourage you from easier more accessible treatment. You do it when the time comes. They even offer alternative treatment like acupuncture, and they test for Hep-C. All I ever got from allied was lost jobs and time wasted being jerked around jumping through hoops just to be able to get my dose.

Amazing facility, stellar staff, classes that are actually helpful and routine based rehab. I can’t express fully how much this place helped me. If you care to help yourself, this place will get you where you need to be. Counselors Carolyne and Regina are pros, and truly care about their clients. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is serious about their recovery.

i m not sure why this place has bad reviews. from my pov i have a wonderful therapist who i enjoy talking to. there are a few rotten eggs within the system, but all i had to do was call and asked to be switched to a different person. this place has saved my life and i m so grateful for it.

There was a time in my 26-year community partnership with Lifeways when I wasn’t the biggest fan. I can honestly say there has been a significant shift. From more services, more accessible community friendly leadership. Thoughtful and compassionate employees. If you have hesitated in the past because of past experiences or concerns, I would recommend giving them another shot. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Also I forgot to mention Cheryl the SUD provider! She is awesome! She is SO good at what she does! I really enjoy her groups and i really enjoy meeting with her! She is a great provider and she really helps me a lot! Lifeways is a great place to go for your mental health and addictions! They are SUPER helpful and i really appreciate them SO much for helping me with my mental health and addiction! I m SO lucky to have them! I go to Lifeways in Ontario Oregon and I have been going there for three years now! I highly recommend them to anyone who is suffering with mental health and addiction issues!

Holy Baker House. This is the best residential treatment for addiction. Run by professionals who know how to help addicts save themselves. I’ve personally been detoxed at Hooper at least a dozen times, once even overdosing in their lobby & waking up in the ER. In sobriety, I’ve gone in with H&I to talk to the patients that want to hear it. It’s not forced or mandatory, but strongly suggested. Hell, I even remember getting thrown into the old Hooper drunk tank after being a passenger in a DUI car accident. I should’ve played injured instead of trying to leave the scene. Anyway reading through the negative & single star comments, it’s very clear for me to see the repeating theme & same old BS excuses people love to try riding. It’s very apparent to me that each “concerned loved one” or “missing son/daughter/Mom”… wasn’t ready to hold themselves accountable for the decisions & consequences of their actions. Even back when they only had a payphone & a roll of quarters made you the man inside. It’s long since been changed to free 24/7 phone access for outgoing calls. With or without the confirmation HIPPA protection LAW… the front desk employees have NO CHOICE but to adhere by & follow! They’ll take a kite note & fly it where it needs to be. If your loved one hasn’t AMA’d themselves, which they can do ANYTIME since only adults can be there & it’s not a jail. I’ve left at 3am throwing a damn fit thinking my girlfriend on the female side had left cuz they wouldn’t tell me if she was still there! She was & I ended up the dumbass in relapse, alone. NOTHING on the recovery path at all will EVER succeed without that first required desire & commitment from within. To then accept a plethora of positive suggestions & encouragement that’ll only fall on deaf ears unless YOU LISTEN for it! Shit even right now in my full addiction, a criminally corrupt career criddler… I can see the writing on these comment walls! Hoopers without a doubt… Saved my life more than once. Maybe they’ll do it again … If I decide to let them help me help myself!Our options are few & the end game for everyone is the same. Why speed up reaching death & spending the gifted time of life in misery. Forcing loved ones to be miserable. Let go of your guilt, blaming yourself is obviously a step towards acceptance. Quit punishing yourself though, because your punishing everyone else that loves you too! You are the most important person in your life & ain’t nothing selfish about living like it!Good Luck

had a much smoother detox here off fentanyl than the first time cold turkey.if withdrawal has been too challenging for you to get clean, and you have 4-7+ days you can take off work & home – i would highly recommend trying it.they helped me get another chance at a fulfilling life, and i believe they can do the same for you.they also offer a lot of help after you get out with housing, work, meds, etc.

This place is truly amazing!! My best friend and I decided to go here and get clean together and it really has been a God send because about 2 weeks after we started treatment I found out I had stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and the staff have been pretty nice, but I found out that one of my favorite people that work here got let go and I’m very sad to hear this, he really made my week great getting to visit with him for the few minutes I was there I’m worried about how things will be with him gone and I’m going to pray that they bring him back when they see how many people enjoyed his company and made us feel safe. If a person has been using substances long enough to become addicted, a safe environment to detox in is necessary to prevent potentially life threatening complications and to prevent relapse. In detox, you receive medical monitoring to treat any complications that may arise and to make you more comfortable during withdrawal so you can then proceed to inpatient or outpatient treatment.
The detox process at an Oregon detox center can vary based on the substances you’re withdrawing from. Alcohol detox is especially dangerous as seizures and other complications can cause death. Opioid detox is often done using medications that block the brain’s opioid receptors as a way to reduce cravings and make withdrawal symptoms more mild. Benzodiazepine addiction is also dangerous to withdraw from because of heart irregularities that may occur.
Some withdrawal processes may take a few days while others may take a few weeks. Most insurance companies will cover detox that is necessary based on your addiction. A medically supervised or medically assisted program will ensure a person is able to comfortably withdraw from using substances safely and will help to launch a long term recovery journey.
