Addiction-related services provided at Tree House include | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Witnessing a loved one hit rock bottom is a scary and heartbreaking experience, especially when you hadn t realized they were struggling with addiction. Then having to suddenly research treatment facilities was a raw mix of emotions. Thankfully we found Tree House Recovery PDX to help guide our entire family through the treatment journey, starting with my brother who was struggling with alcoholism.Tree House Recovery PDX is a holistic addiction treatment program for men. When first visiting their site, I immediately noticed their empowering voice mixed with an emphasis on team-focused, complete recovery not to mention MMA, Yoga, and Writing Therapy. Tree House treats the mind, body, and spirit for sustainable recovery, by building strength through fitness, addiction education, writing, 1:1, group sessions, etc. The more we learned about their holistic approach, the more we were ready to contact an admissions counselor and ultimately my brother made the decision to enter the program.Privacy is of the utmost importance at Tree House Recovery PDX, so I don t want to disclose too much, but know that the entire team treats everyone with care, respect, and professionalism. Clinical Director Karen Willock’s monthly family group sessions were particularly impactful, and Nevin Andrews was incredibly responsive and kind throughout my brother s 5-month treatment. Everyone continues to be supportive, too.As a family member of a program graduate, I would wholeheartedly recommend Tree House Recovery PDX.

Where to being. Treehouse is the very first place that comes to mind when I think about where I would send a loved one struggling. I went through PDX and it absolutely gave me a foundation to actually build a life. The program design, team, staff, culture allowed me to get to a place of healing that had eluded me for years. I ve been to 15-20 rehabs in my journey. Detoxes, inpatient , outpatient, Salvation Army, the million dollar mansions in SoCal, and every SUD/ PTSD program the VA has- but none of them got CLOSE to getting me to the place that treehouse has. I am truly grateful for life I live today and I owe a tremendous amount of thanks to Treehouse as a whole#PDX

I did intake here originally December 2020, but have courtesy dosed here before. It is by far the best clinic in the Pacific Northwest. Previously I attended several clinics in Seattle. It is important to understand that they are doing the best that they can with the number of people that they have. I have seen job postings for nurses on their website for years. It is not their fault nurses join and leave so abruptly or are hard to find and hire. Then you have the patient count that has steadily been increasing. Most stable patients qualify for take homes fairly fast, so don t expect to have to go daily for too long. There will be days the wait will be long. That s just life. People take vacations. Shit happens. Relax and get your dose.

Wanted to thank the staff and everyone who was in here at the same time as me.I didn’t come here entirely on my own free will, but because I was kind of cornered into it by my therapist. And I wasn’t happy about putting my life on hold to be here. But now I see why she really wanted me to go.I had no previous experience with programs like this and didn’t know what to expect. And you can bet I doubted everything every step of the way. I still do in some areas. But the longer I was there, the more I saw a difference and realized why things are done the way they are.I got a lot out of the program in the relatively short time I was there and have seen a big difference in my eating and thinking. And also in my physical health and brain. My memory has really noticeably improved and so has how I feel physically. And I’ve felt so much calmer and happier compared to before I went in. Turns out eating consistently helps you not feel like you’re in fight or flight all the time, who would have thought haha.

After withdrawing for 24 hours on my own I went to Bridgeway to detox off of fentanyl and meth. I only stayed for 3 days because that was as many as I felt I needed. My personal experience fantastic. Anytime I didn t feel well I was able to talk to staff and they would administer my own personal medication I brought in as well as the detox meds they have on hand. The food was amazing. To be able to have people specifically making you healthy food for 3 large meals a day and more if you want. Along with soup in between breakfast and lunch and a refrigerator full of milk and beverage machines in the kitchen. You re not forced to go to bed at a certain time you can watch movies all night or color and read. You can t have your cell phone with you so be prepared if that s a dealbreaker for you. Your not forced to participate in any groups or extracurricular activities like that if you don t want to. You can shower whenever you want as well as go outside. No smoking but they have nicotine gum and patches. I was there a few months ago but im still clean off of fentanyl and meth. Even with meds you re still gonna be uncomfortable to a certain extent. One of the nurses even sat and talked with me for a long time the first night I was there and couldn t sleep. My personal experience was nothing but positive and I would highly recommend it to anyone whose tired of being trapped in addiction.

That place is beautiful with a peaceful, tranquil feeling inside & out, maybe because of the architecture of generations ago, like strong noble parents & grandparents who always care about us. The clerks at the VA RC&C are cordial & professional. My eye doctor there is excellent – very professional, knowledgeable, efficient & kindly. Inside the buildings, everything is always nice & clean & pleasant, very well-kept, & there is comfortable seating here & there in the hallways as well as lighting that is gentle on the eyes & greatly appreciated. Also, there are hallways with interesting photos & pictures, & one hallway shows remarkably great artworks by elementary schoolchildren of all the past Presidents. The beautiful trees, plants, flowers & lawns of the VA RC&C’s grounds are very soothing – something about that facility in its entirety is comforting, I always feel that when I go there. The staff are as friendly as they can afford to be considering their workload. I have received the best of care from various providers and what they can’t do, Community Care has been quick to get my care farmed out to local providers. I have seen other veterans arrive with the worst of attitudes and, unfortunately, some staff fire back at them. For those that have given a low review of this facility, I think you are wrong and I can only hope that you can stop seeing little things as injustices to yourselves and, instead, consider the injustices that you impose first.

Outpatient treatment for substance use in Oregon is provided by licensed practitioners in a way that allows you to continue living at home and in some cases continue working full time while getting addiction treatment. An assessment will determine the length and frequency of treatment that are best for each client.
Treatment can be provided in group or individual sessions. Peer support groups such as AA and NA are also considered part of outpatient treatment because these support systems help with accountability. Many programs will require attendance at one of these types of support groups.
Outpatient addiction treatment continues the work of inpatient rehab by exploring triggers, learning relapse prevention skills, developing emotional intelligence, and many other topics related to why people become addicted to substances. Childhood trauma, abandonment, abuse and neglect are often deep seated issues that require long term investments in healing cognitive and emotional structures.
Some outpatient programs incorporate holistic treatments too. These can include yoga, acupuncture, meditation and intentional life planning to bring a person into a complete state of recovery. Because of the complicated issues that surround substance use, long lasting and sustainable outpatient treatment can be instrumental in achieving and maintaining sobriety.
