MAT Program handled through free grants. Somewhat supervised by staff. The administration is what you'd expect from the field. They're human; most of them genuinely interested in seeing clients better themselves in every way. You get what you put in, and a few of them are willing to build lasting relationships that can become the foundation of a new, positive social network should you plan on staying after treatment. They give you more than enough rope to hang yourself with, that's for sure. If you're looking for babysitters, this isn't the place. This is a program designed to quickly and efficiently get you back on your feet. You keep your cell phone and everything. They probably saved my life. Just be up front and honest about everything and let them make it work. It is the attitude of the staff and the level of comfort I feel when I go there that has made it so easy to continue going and stay on this path. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I continue to go weekly instead of going down to less appointments each month. So getting that person help can be quite the challenge. Not to mention the after effects of if/when you are able to get that going. Burt and Tametha were right on time with helping my family. From the information provided, setting up an appointment, and the careful attention to detail as we navigated needing psychiatric care for my step-dad. PCP and Neurology focused on his physical health, but overlooked his mental health playing a factor in his declines. We were able to get a diagnosis, medications to help find balance, and a plan of action to help with behavioral expresssions. The patience and understanding that they continue to show both he and my mother is much appreciated. The journey of someone dealing with a cognitive decline effects everyone involved. It is very simple, you check in the front desk who is always friendly and treats you like family and then you first speak with your counselor which I love her by the way, she’s very understanding and I’m glad that I was able to meet her. And then once you’re done speaking with your counselor, you go and finish your screens and they check your vitals. Lastly they then place you in a quiet secured room that is not intimidating but very comfortable actually and the provider always has your back when it comes to any questions or concerns about your medication’s. I’m very pleased to go here and I will continue my journey with them. I highly recommend. Her caring attitude and willingness to help really made a difference for me. It’s not always easy going to a health facility, but she made the experience much smoother and less stressful. I was drinking so much I was falling and hurting myself and ruining my marriage and on a path to possibly loosing job and even land myself in jail. I was miserable and at rock bottom. Once there after the detox period i started attending group therapy sessions, individual therapy session’s sessions, and working with the techs to become involved in my recovery process. First 5 days i was detoxing and once that was over i got super involved in the program and day by day got better each day. I received excellent nursing and medical provider support. I had amazing group therapy sessions. I was fed delicious meals every day. I had a great case manager and had a primary therapist who was absolutely perfect. The staff was absolutely first class and my treatment started me on a successful path to recovery. This place literally changed my life. They took care of my every need physically, mentally, and emotionally. I highly recommend if you need help for addiction this is where you need to be. The music assisted therapy was perfect for me and the staff is all amazing. The groups are really beneficial and really got down to the core of why i turned to drinking every time something upset me. Of course you have a few are ill at the world and hate their job. The facility is a 10 out of 5 lol. It's absolutely a postcard. The food is cafeteria style and excellent. The only complaint is during detox the decision for patients to go to the cabins is up to a nurse. Detox is terrible and after days of no sleep or eating is the absolute worst time to move a patient. But that's what happens. You physically can't lift your head off the pillow and you have someone yelling get up. Doctor's are there daily so I don't think you should move until the doctor okays it. Besides that it's doesn't get any better. They have a great support system (alumni) and resources to continue in your sobriety journey once you are out of inpatient, I donate yearly to CH so that someone else can hopefully find their way there. I had never been to treatment before so I had no idea what to expect, I was just trying to get clean. my Counselor Paul Cruz and Shelby Miller showed me love, compassion and what recovery looked like. They had faith in me when i didn't have faith in myself. Over the course of 13 months in treatment I learned how to live life on life's terms without using, I learned how to be a productive member of society and they gave me the tools to recover. My experience at Brentwood Springs was amazing for the most part. I only had problems with one particular nurse who refused to give me medication that the doctor had already ordered, causing me to be in withdrawal for three days from a medication that I had no plans on stopping. Apparently, she had her own personal reasons for not wanting to give me my medication. She felt like I shouldn’t be taking it to begin with??? Once a more experienced nurse came in, though she took care of it and fixed the problem. The entire staff is kind and caring. The medication’s are very customized to each individual. When I felt like I was getting sick they extended my taper to make sure that I was not uncomfortable. The meals are catered or homemade. The kitchen pantry is stocked as well as the refrigerator and freezer. There are plenty of drinks and snacks including juice and fruit. I was able to reach out to my family on a regular basis and was given great advice about aftercare. I would recommend them to anyone seeking help in recovery. Daye 3 months ago I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.
