Clarksville, Tennessee | Tennessee Valley Healthcare System – Clarksville VA Clinic is an outpatient medical facility for veterans in Clarksville, Tennessee. They provide outpatient medical services including mental health care. You can expect to receive primary care, nutrition counseling, and laboratory and pathology services. Additionally, audiology and speech services | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have been in the VA system for close to 20 years now. Started here in Clarksville in the Memorial Drive clinic, then moved out west for 6+ years and have since returned. The difference in quality of care here in Clarksville is just amazing. I though Las Vegas was good, well Clarksville just plain and simple has them beat. Great care, great people and almost no waiting. Top it off with Nashville and Ft Campbell medical facilities less than 1 hour away each and veterans are extremely well provided for. Well done!

My doctor is named Dr P Cook. This lady is God sent. She listens to me, she educate me about my records, my body and my mind. I really love this woman that I bring my daughters to my appointments so she can school them in their bodies. I really don’t know what I would do with out her. As a veteran and a black woman it hard to find a doctor that don’t wanna just shove pills down your throat but by the Grace of God she has been my doctor for years and I am truly Thankful

I have been in the VA system for 20 years at different locations. The clinic in Clarksville is by far the best. The staff are polite and professional. Sure, it might be busy and my appointment may not start exactly on time. However, every provider that I have encountered has never rushed me or not taken their due diligence to answer any questions that I have.

Clarksville, Tennessee | Buffalo Valley is a community treatment center located in Clarksville, Tennessee. This treatment facility helps those who are struggling with addiction as well as co-occurring disorders. They serve the low income and homeless populations and also offer services for veterans. The levels of care available are medical detox, residential, partial hospi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This place is pretty awesome as far as rehabilitation facilities go.
MAT Program handled through free grants. Somewhat supervised by staff.
The administration is what you'd expect from the field. They're human; most of them genuinely interested in seeing clients better themselves in every way. You get what you put in, and a few of them are willing to build lasting relationships that can become the foundation of a new, positive social network should you plan on staying after treatment.
They give you more than enough rope to hang yourself with, that's for sure. If you're looking for babysitters, this isn't the place. This is a program designed to quickly and efficiently get you back on your feet. You keep your cell phone and everything.
I'd recommend it to anyone except individuals literally rendered unable to care for themselves by addiction. Don't know where I'd be without them.
Thank you, Buffalo Valley.

You will not find a better place to be a patient than this. The staff here is outstanding and will do everything they can to accommodate your needs and get you taken care of. They probably saved my life. Just be up front and honest about everything and let them make it work.
It is the attitude of the staff and the level of comfort I feel when I go there that has made it so easy to continue going and stay on this path. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I continue to go weekly instead of going down to less appointments each month.
The point is if you need a service that they offer here, do yourself a favor and at least come check it out. If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to give me a shout.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!! I want to start by saying that when the time comes as caregivers that you feel like you have no other options and what you’re doing isn’t working that making the decision to put your loved one in crisis in a short term facility is not easy. We struggled for weeks on end before finally making the call to Unity to get the process started. My FIL is only 63 years old and has suffered from Parkinson’s disease since 2016 and the past 2/3 years he’s began to develop dementia. He has faced SO many life altering changes just this year and was starting to do better but then rapidly declined. From June to August 19 (the day he was admitted) every day seemed to be worse than the last, no medication combo was working and his medical team was no help. We placed him at Unity on 8/19 and he completed a 20 day stay there. I was so scared of him coming home and being angry at us for our decision but we genuinely didn’t know what else to do and we were worried about his quality of life and safety. His medical team, social worker and discharge coordinator held a weekly phone meeting with us to address progress, med changes, concerns and his day to day life. We were allowed to visit him 3 days of the week and we were allowed to call him 3 other days of the week. The first couple of times we spoke to him on the phone and when my husband went to visit we hadn’t seen much progress he was still very confused and angry while still suffering with some very scary hallucinations. On day 16 we got the call that he would be discharged at the end of the week. I will be honest with you both my husband and I were very nervous and skeptical but we shouldn’t of been as my FIL came out of Unity his old self! He’s now able to hold a conversation, he’s calm and not in a constant state of anxiety/panic and most importantly he’s safe now. We were so scared of how angry he would be that we sent him somewhere and that he wouldn’t understand why but he has only been home 45 minutes and he was telling us how thankful he was, how he learned so much there, how useful this place was to him and that he learned a lot of new coping skills to manage conflict or change in the future. THANK YOU to the staff at Unity…from the admissions coordinator, to the front desk staff, the nurses, social workers, doctors, nurses and discharge staff THANK YOU!!!!! Thank you for giving my FIL his life back!!!! We are so beyond happy to have him home and very thankful this resource is here in our community!!

Whether you need 24/7 structured support or can live at home and a | Treatments Programs Payment Options | ONLY GIVING FIVE STARS SO THIS WILL BE SEEN BUT IT IS BY FAR THE MOST INCONSIDERATE, FALSE ADVERTISING TREATMENT CENTER..DO NOT GO HERE TO DETOX FROM ANYTHING BESIDES ALCOHOL!! I PERSONALLY WOULDN'T EVEN SUGGEST THAT IN MY OPINION!! TO ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH OPIATES ESPECIALLY, FENTANYL, DO NOT GO HERE!!! YOU'RE BETTER OFF DOING IT ON YOUR COUCH!! THE 3 TO 5 DAYS IN BETWEEN BEING ABLE TO TAKE SUBOXONE WILL BE JUST AS THE SAME AS QUITTING COLD TURKEY, ONLY DIFFERENCE IS YOU MAY GET A NAUSEA PILL FOR YOUR STOMACH BUT THATS IT. THEY DONT GIVE ANYTHING WORTH A DAM THAT ACTUALLY GIVES ANY RELIEF FOR THE SEVERE MUSCLE SPASMS, HEART RATE, BLOOD PRESSURE, VOMITING, DIARRHEA, MOOD SWINGS, INSOMNIA AT IT'S WORST, INABILITY TO EVEN STAY HYDRATED. THEY WILL LET YOU SIT IN YOUR ROOM ON DEATH'S DOOR WITHOUT A CARE UNTIL YOU GET SO SICK THAT YOURE UNABLE TO GET UP OUT OF BED FROM THE DEHYDRATION HUNGER AND INSOMNIA THAT GETS SO BAD TO A POINT THAT YOUR BODY CAN'T DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE PUKING, SHITTING, YAWNING, SWEATING AND FEELING AS IF YOUR BONES ARE BEING RIPPED OUT OF YOUR BODY UNTIL IT SHUTS DOWN AND YOURE NOW LYING IN YOUR BED COVERED IN YOUR OWN VOMIT AND ALL IN THE FLOOR ONLY THEN WILL THEY GIVE A DAM AND THEN SEND YOU TO AN ACTUAL HOSPITAL WHERE YOU FINALLY GOT SOME RELIEF BY BEING TREATED AND SEEN BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS THAT KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING. MIND YOU THIS IS WHERE YOUR DETOX OR "MEDICAL DETOX" IS THE ONLY TRUE MEDICAL TREATMENT THAT IS GOING TO GIVE YOU RELIEF BUT ONLY AFTER YOU ALMOST DIE AND YOUR SO ILL THAT YOUR BLOOD BECOMES ACIDIC SO YOU TECHNICALLY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SLEEP FROM THE LIGHT MEDICALLY INDUCED COMA YOURE PUT UNDER WHILE ALSO BEING GIVEN MUSCLE RELAXERS BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS AND METHADONE TO HELP YOUR WITHDRAWALS DWINDLE DOWN TO MOSTLY SOMEWHAT TOLERABLE. ONCE YOU LEAVE THE HOSPITAL GO BACK TO CUMBERLAND HEIGHTS, BY THEN IT WILL BE LONG ENOUGH TO START NOT ONLY SUBOXONE BUT "SURPRISE!!!" 'SEROQUEL' FOR YOUR INSOMNIA 😂 AND 'REQUIP' FOR YOUR MUSCLE SPASMS AND RESTLESS LEGS, 'BACLOFEN' FOR PAIN AND ANTIDEPRESSANTS FOR MENTAL HEALTH 😂 SO IF THESE MEDICATIONS WERE AVAILABLE BEFORE THE HOSPITAL TRIP THEN WHY WERENT THEY UTILITIZED BEFORE THE DETOXING PATIENT GOT TO SUCH A UNSTABLE STATE OF HEALTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY???!! THEN ON TOP OF IT ALL AFTER YOU START SUBOXONE YOURE NOW PUT IN THE RESIDENTIAL PART WHERE YOU ARE PUSHED WAY TOO QUICKLY WITHOUT ANY CONSIDERATION FROM STAFF TO BE EXPECTED TO SPRAWL BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN DIFFERENT GROUP THERAPIES ACROSS THE CAMPUS FROM 6:30 AM TIL 8 PM ALL DAY EVER DAY IN THE HEAT COLD RAIN SNOW OR SUN MELTING YOUR SKIN OFF IF YOU DON'T FEEL GOOD TOUGH SHIT CAUSE YOU'RE KICKED OUT AND LOCKED OUT OF YOUR CABIN ALL DAY TOO. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING A COUNSELOR OR TECH IF YOU CAN GO SEE MEDICAL TO GET A MED PASS TO REST THEY WILL KEEP YOU FROM DOING SO AND THEN IF YOU EVEN DO MAKE IT TO MECICAL ITS STILL A LOW CHANCE THEY WILL GIVE YOU A PASS. THE ONLY WAY TO GET ANY RESULTS IS BY SHOWING YOUR ASS AND THROWING A FIT. THERES PLENTY MORE TO THE HORROR STORY OF THIS HELL HOLE BUT ILL LEAVE IT AS IS FOR NOW.. PS DONT LET YOUR PROVIDER KNOW YOU GOT A LITTLE SLEEP AFTER STARTING SUBOXONE BECAUSE IN MY OWN EXPERIENCE IN 2021 THAT SIGNIFIED TO THE DOCTOR THAT I WAS CURED 😂😆 AND THEN HE CUT MY SUBOXONE OFF ON DAY FOUR SO I CHECKED MYSELF OUT AND JUST WENT TO A SUBOXONE CLINIC, TAKE MY MEDICATION WHEN NEEDED AND ALSO DIDN'T WASTE 26,800 DOLLARS ON A SORRY EXCUSE OF A REHAB FACILITY.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025.
It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002.
I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program.
The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative.
Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional.
The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen.
I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery .
The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise.
The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics
Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience.
Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage.
It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me .
The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7.
All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety.
They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together.
Samaritan also has full
Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady.
Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan.
I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs.
And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library.
Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit.
My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff.
If your curious how it happened - My story went like this….
I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier.
