KUB said the problem was on the homeowner side with the property owners were supposed to take care of it it was making my utility bills! I reached out to the people over at the office they said contact kcdc I did all that stuff and cost me a lot of money nobody believed me! After I moved out the other renters were having problems! New Hope doesn't allow clients to work 3rd shift jobs anymore. I think that takes away the opportunity to get good jobs and opportunities/offers. Many 3rd shift jobs pay better than 1st and 2nd shift and sometimes it's the only shift that's available. I honestly think that this rule should be rescinded and clients should be allowed to work 3rd shift jobs. Other than that its a great program.

The HRM center on Springdale is a great place. They really listen to me and put me on the on the medication that they think is best for me. I like the fact that if I Miss my appointments I can get a chance to go get my refills until my next appointment. Now what I don't like is if need or want to speak to a therapist you never know which one you're going to get therefore you're having to start all over and tell the next therapist. INPATIENT EXPERIENCE:
I was in-patient in October 2024 for 6 days. The psychiatrist was warm, kind and helped me figure out a medication plan that I was the center of. I wrote that doctor a thank you note bc of how outstanding she was. I see some poor reviews but in my experience they deserve 5 stars. Nothing traumatic happened while I was there. Comfortable rooms with showers and they even offer shampoo and conditioner if u ask for it. They have groups every single day that are art therapy, group dbt and cbt, you meet with a social worker who was amazing as getting me my out patient therapist and psychiatrist before I left they already made an appointment for me. I highly recommend making an appointment if u want to go in patient because they accept walk ins but it’s faster to make an appointment when you’re gonna walk in. They let me bring my own books. They have a nice music room with a comfy seat that they can play whatever music you want even at night. They didn’t over medicate me and let me have automny over my care. You meet with the psychiatrist everyday and the social worker upon request and a few times in the beginning and if you need a support group to find or a therapist or psychiatrist out patient they’ll help you find one before you leave. They also have a group room that you can watch movies on and tell the nurse what you want to watch. I watched Disney movies everyday I was there because I asked for them. The patients were divided into different sections and I liked that because the people who you’re with have similar issues as you. Brittany one of the nurses was so incredibly nice. All the nurses were amazing I could talk to them and ask them to come to my room to talk as well. They would message the doctors when I couldn’t sleep and get me something or if I was having anxiety they could message them. The food wasn’t bad at all I’ve had far worse I liked the deserts and the coffee and tea you could choose between two different options. I also did there IOP and PHP programs and it was absolutely incredible. Couldn’t recommend this place enough ignore the haters this is an honest and in depth review.

This place truly saved me. I was so anxious my first night but the techs were able to help me become more comfortable. Craig (the nurse) was so uplifting and nice it helped me ease my anxiety when asking for meds. Hannah (activity therapist) was so sweet and I loved the groups she did. Tommy the tech was such a nice individual and didn’t mind to ever get anything we needed when we needed it. There was another tech believe named Anne who was so uplifting as well and so sweet. My doctor was so kind and explained everything to me which helped ease the nerves. The food was great except one meal that made everyone feel nauseous (it was undercooked noodles) but the culinary team was so kind. I was placed with a roommate who paced a lot and talked to herself about some concerning things and cussed to herself which made me uncomfortable as she would also ignore me and when I brought this concern to the techs they moved me immediately. Please ignore the bad reviews because I promise this place is life changing. I’m on meds that are seeming to help and I know I can always come to them if I ever feel the need to. Thank you to the social worker as well, all nurses, and all techs.

I was released from Federal prison on March 28, 2023 and sent here. I was worried because before being released my husband read the reviews and they weren t a lot of good ones. Upon arriving the staff was very helpful, the place was very clean, the food was awesome, and my counselor was great. My counselor was John Horton he is awesome and tries to help in anyway he can. He also does the group meetings at Midway and I enjoyed going to them. This place is a good place for people that actually want to change and live a better life.
