I think methadone saves the lives of the ones actually trying even though your going to another opiate, at least it's controlled and know what your taking instead of getting a fentanyl shot that could take your last breath so I feel it's a good thing they are doing for the patients that want to get away from the illegal drugs

Accepted Insurance

DRD Management – Citico Street works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs enable clients to receive care without leaving their home, workplace, and community. Clients typically receive intensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Many programs promote clients' long-term sobriety through recovery-focused life skills training and ancillary services, such as peer coaching. Medication assisted treatment (MAT), including medication induction and maintenance, are common in outpatient care. Most facilities offer multiple levels of care to accommodate clients' evolving needs, including intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient programming.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

When your day-to-day life is taken over by drug use, this is known as substance use disorder. If you abruptly stop using your drug of choice, you experience withdrawal symptoms. To overcome this cycle, professional drug rehab in Tennessee is usually needed.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Typical cognitive behavioral therapy in Tennessee involves recognizing negative thinking and learning techniques to change that thinking and create new, positive behaviors. Strategies may include SMART goals, journaling, and situation exposure.

Counseling in Tennessee that takes a dialectical behavior therapy approach can last from six to 12 months. During that time, you'll develop skills in the areas of distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Family therapy uses a structured environment to address the complexities of addiction and the negative influences it has on the family unit. Therapists work with family members to develop effective coping and communication strategies that support their loved one's recovery while also focusing on the health and well being of each family member.

This place helped my family overcome the worst and most traumatic moment. I'm thankful for everything they did back then. We had some issues with the facility during that time but nothing too serious.

This place is the absolute biggest joke of a treatment center. Their daily mission is to turn people away at all costs, for the anything they can. The fact that they pretend to care about you is hilarious. All they care about is money. They change their dosing hours every week or change the enter time schedule, but they don't let you know. So even if you walk up to the door one minute late, one minute, they will happily turn you away. If negative stars were a rating option, I would give them -5 stars. The most unorganized and ignorant thing I've been involved in.

The two ladies behind the medical counter waited until 1:53 to give me a drug test today when I took it they threw it in the trash and told me that the medical dispensers were already gone so I could not get my dose even though that I checked in at 12:53. In short they treated me more or less like garbage is there any way I can transfer to the Bernard Clinic

This is an awful excuse for a clinic. On day one the disrespect and abuse started. Just because I asked a question one of the receptionists looked at me like something she’d stepped in and told me if I didn’t like it I could leave. The first few times this happened I didn’t complain or anything because anyone can have a bad day. It soon became apparent that it wasn’t a bad day but how they operate, almost like it’s the company philosophy. The discrimination and abuse continues to be a problem. I’m a cancer patient and my knees are bad so steps are a problem for me. My choice is either go down a steep set of steps or walk through a wall of cigarette smoke on the narrow walkway that leads to the front door. The walkway is constantly covered in cigarette butts and smokers who are standing on both sides of the walkway blowing smoke in your face and keeping the entrance filled with smoke. Some days you smell like an ashtray by the time you walk in and back out to your car. They pay an employee who is ostensibly supposed to monitor both the waiting room and the outside entrance. The director told me it was one of her jobs to maintain a smoke free entrance. But today when I went to leave the walkway was lined with smokers on both sides, one of whom was right at the front door and greeted me with a cloud of smoke in my face and telling me to come on through. She was standing there holding the door open to both air condition the outside and let the cigarette smoke inside and when I asked her why she was letting it happen she gave me a disgusted look and when told that the director said that it was her job not to let it happen she told me sarcastically to have a nice day. I had missed about nine days due to cancer symptoms and had been hospitalized during which time I was told that my dosage would not be affected and it wasn’t during my hospitalization. However upon my return today I was told due to my absence that my dosage was to be reduced by half and that would be the case even with hospitalization and that it was state law. They tell you everything is state law and you usually find out that’s a lie but it doesn’t stop them from doing it. The nurse who is supposed to be in charge of my dosage has told me that anytime a patient asks for an assessment they are supposed to do it. When that was mentioned I was again told it was state law and that there was no point in them doing it. Despite the director telling me that the people at the dosing window aren’t nurses and aren’t supposed to make decisions. That they are just supposed to hand out doses and follow orders. They don’t, they do what they want and cover for each other if called out on their actions. They will lie and cover for one another. I went to another clinic in Florida and it was a totally different experience. I’m not even talking about the difference in the laws but the difference in the attitudes of the employees and how the company runs things. BHG seems to do everything they can to put obstacles in your path to recovery, the employees seem to take great pleasure in treating people like they’re garbage and have no qualms whatsoever about letting you know how they feel nor do they seem to be worried about negative consequences for their actions and attitudes. If you have any other options available for treatment please use them. Don’t put yourself through this trauma and discrimination. It’s not worth your money or the benefits provided to you by your insurance, whatever the source of your coverage is. It’s unethical and unacceptable for a medical provider to operate in this manner and someone should step in and take the necessary measures to correct this situation because they are either unable or unwilling to rectify it themselves. If it was possible to give 5 poo emojis for a bad review I would. 💩💩💩💩💩

Awful place that's ran by money hungry corporate scum. They don't give any care towards "junkies" as 1 nurse that works here put it. Methadone is a wonderful tool that can truly help people struggling but if you can help it avoid this place like the plague. TLC in Maryville is about 20 minutes away and is leaps and bounds better than this pathetic excuse for a clinic.
