I’ve had to move for work to three different states and never have I received better care, compassion, or kindness anywhere else. There is a stigma that comes with recovering from an addiction. Unfortunately even some doctors offices and recovery centers can have preconceived notions about you when you walk in the door but I can tell you that is not the case here. I’ve hit rock bottom a few times and she has helped me learn and grow from those falls. I’m a stronger person because of her listening and teaching skills. You have to want to get better and put in the work. The therapists are not magic. They can’t heal you. If you don’t put in the work- you can’t get better. So make sure you are determined to conquer your disease. You can do it. If I can crawl out of the deep pits- you can too. You have to hold on to their words and use the skills they teach you. Be willing to grow. She listens and cares deeply about her guests. I am part of a group therapy also and it’s incredible. Our instructor Angie is amazing.
