I’m graduating from the PHP/IOP program today after 75 days and wanted to share my experience. I’ve never been to a rehab that was so well executed. My first day I showed up and I didn’t want to be there at all. That changed quickly. Unlike most residential rehabs- at ETAS, you live in one of their houses and are transported back and forth to class. The staff were amazing. My first counselor was Jennifer. She was funny and had very thoughtful groups- a joy to be around. My IOP tech was also great and pushed us to be our best. This program is almost exclusively run by people who have many years of clean time themselves. My house manager Dan was awesome and would go well above and beyond what was required. The therapist Hayden was also great and was clearly passionate about helping people gain a better insight into their behavior as it pertains to addiction. I can’t say enough good things! Highly recommend this program and these people! So very grateful for a renewed perspective and a fresh start with new tools for sobriety and the next chapter of my life!

I was in the intensive outpatient program here and loved my experience. The counselors were wonderful and saved my life. The information I gained in this program, along with the realizations I had within myself, helped me to gain my confidence back and alleviate the mental health issues I was having. I rediscovered the strength to push forward and be better thanks to the activities, group therapies and compassion from the counselors. I will be forever grateful to them for helping me as much as they did.

I had a terrible experience there and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I was discharged from the PHP and the staff refused to admit me to the inpatient unit. I was taken to another hospital far away. The ER treats patients like animals. I was denied my prescribed meds and the staff lied to me and had a terrible attitude. Do not go there or you will regret it!

This place is truely a God send. The staff and programs were spot on for what I needed to find the healing and wellness that I was seeking , needed ,and deserved. The top notch qusine is worth bragging about as well. The chef prepared meals are no joke. My stay here was great. Don't get me wrong I had days I wanted to go home. But the staff was so nice and the girls were so nice that they talked me out of it. The groups were very awesome and really make me think about everything. My therapist, Candace, was wonderful. She really helped me understand a lot and helped me open up. They have really helped me with my mental health! Thank you everyone 💓! The tech's are awesome! Specially Rose. She could look at me and tell if I was having a bad day. And Tracy was awesome. They both would always have me laughing in the end. I miss them so much. And everyone was great at the clinical. Specifically Desiree. She is so sweet. Hoping to come back for iop program when my new insurance kicks in. You won't regret going there. I promise!

This is an amazing place!! These people saved my life. I’ve been to a few places before and never have I received treatment like I did at Sanctuary!! My counselor’s name was Sofia. She worked with me several times a week for a little over a month. She’s by far the best counselor I’ve ever had. She helped me work past my mother’s death and help me get to the route of my addiction issues. The staff here genuinely cares about you. They will go above and beyond. Sofia fought so hard for me in every situation, she never gave up on me. I’ve never had someone in my corner so much that wanted me to succeed in every way. Tracy my favorite tech still checks on me to this day. The facility is brand new, clean, and very nice. If you truly want to get better, this is the place to go. I’ve been home for months and I’m still doing great thanks to Sanctuary.

My experience was wonderful. The girl who did my intake paperwork was an angel. Her name was Jennifer. She explained everything so that it was easy to understand and made me feel so peaceful. Walking through the door to get help was so hard, but she made it easy. She reminded me that no matter where I am in life that I am still wanted and loved . Sobriety isn’t easy, but she is 100 percent the reason I am alive. Sometimes all you need is one person to remind you how loved and wanted you are and she is as that person for me. That day could have easy ended differently, but she changed something in me. Thankful for Ridgeview. The world needs more people like her.

I came to the Lodge broken and defeated, and had practically given up. I had little to no light left in my eyes nor did I have any hope at getting better. I had spent 2 days on the phone with my insurance company and various facilites trying to find somewhere to go. I discovered Smokey Mountain Lodge through some referrals and picked up the phone. Within 3 hours I had been assessed, approved, and had a bed secured. The next day I spent 4 hours in the car to get there. I was hesitant, my time at the Lodge was my 4th residential treatment facility and I doubted if I would get anything out of it. After all, I had been playing the psych ward game for a long time. The following will describe my experience at the Lodge: It was nothing short of life changing and life saving. The facility itself is beautiful. The surrounding scenery was so tranquil. A beautiful view of a mountain, a lovely garden to walk through, you are surrounded by nature. They offer a gym you have 24/7 access to. They do have weights, but using them must be supervised by a tech. The food was fantastic, they have an excellent culinary team. The team of techs were incredible, you can tell they actually care about their clients and offer a huge amount of support (Special shoutout to Ty and Heidi). Group therapy was insanely helpful. They offered a large variety of psychoeducational and recreational groups. They taught DBT, CBT, ACT, diagnostic education, and much more. They have a fully stocked art room and two amazing recreational therapists to accompany it. Matt and Haley were awesome, they always had fun and engaging groups. Special shoutout to Jadie, while she was an intern she was incredible at psychoeducation, her groups were fantastic. The nursing department was exceptional as well. I loved my provider, she really listened to me and helped me find a medication regiment that was effective. My experience with one on one therapy was also fantastic. Lexi is great. She helped me process a lot of my trauma, start the healing process, and find value in myself. I made unforgettable connections with my peers as well. I will never forget the friends I made at SML. If you are hesitant about going to treatment, I understand. We all are. But, in my opinion, the Lodge is 100% worth your time and effort. Put the work in and you can get better just like I did.

I keep seeing posts saying this company is “money hungry” but one thing is, Citico works WITH you. I couldn’t pay for almost 60 days. They helped me get insurance for 8$ a month that pays for my medicine and better yet allows me to get medical treatment like I would on tenncare. They are sweet understanding people. I LOVE my routine when I go. Seeing the friendly security guy (my personal favorite) to seeing the beautiful women at front, sorry forgot their names but those women especially the light skin one is so SWEET. My care broke down and one of the workers offered to jump my car. They have been so good to me. Their job is hard. I came in the first day angry and agitated and wanted a fix. They worked with me. Put me in top of the queue and gave me water to calm me down. The woman usually in room 1 with the glasses and brown hair I feel like is my FRIEND. Cause she’s been with me from the beginning helping me get up on my dosage milligrams.

Their pharmacy is totallly overwhelmed and overloaded.and meeting deadline can be a whole day event! (Ask me how I know)
