This clinic is a really good clinic, they actually mix common sense and fairness with rules & regulations. As with all treatments and medications, some individuals do not take it seriously, some lie to get over prescribed and some abuse the medication. Methadone reduces the risk of overdose when taken daily, so it is definitely positive regardless. I personally want to succeed and don’t want to be zonked out, so I only get as much medication as is required to be normal. The staff are very kind, friendly, and nonjudgmental. I believe they even try to work with people financially and give them some buffer room but they are a business at the end of the day. I would give it 5 stars if it were completely non-profit (correct me if I am wrong) and if they had government grants to help non-insured patients.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs enable clients to receive care without leaving their home, workplace, and community. Clients typically receive intensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Many programs promote clients' long-term sobriety through recovery-focused life skills training and ancillary services, such as peer coaching. Medication assisted treatment (MAT), including medication induction and maintenance, are common in outpatient care. Most facilities offer multiple levels of care to accommodate clients' evolving needs, including intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient programming.

Clients in intensive outpatient programs (IOP) receive robust, personalized care to support their reintegration into their community. Clients stepping down from inpatient treatment frequently enroll in IOP before entering standard outpatient care or community-based recovery programs, such as AA. Intensive outpatient treatment generally involves between nine and 20 therapeutic hours weekly, with the frequency and duration of sessions decreasing as clients stabilize. IOP services commonly include counseling, recovery education, holistic therapies, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

In Tennessee, group therapy sessions for drug and alcohol addiction typically involve skill development to help you learn communication techniques and relapse prevention strategies. These strategies support your transition into the community and help you maintain long term sobriety.

Cedar recovery is by far the best clinic you will find anywhere. I was in a lot of them since 2008. TN, Kentucky, even drove to Georgia so I didn't have to go to BHG. Some said its because they are easy on the rules. Not at all. I love it because I was treated like a human by every single staff in the building. I made more progress in my recovery at cedar recovery in 9 months that i did in in 10 years at BHG. I was going backwards at bhg . One of the things I love most is everyone there has a calling to work in recovery not some private equity company that will hire anybody. Some said their kid gets doses and can't stand. I have not experienced this one time. With me or any person I have sent there and we work with recovery housing so I have got over 100 people into cedar recovery and I have not seen this one time. If you leave there passing out or can't stand its because your probably still using other things with you meds and they will catch you soon . I don't think anyone that is not a patient would know if you could stand to dose because my wife can't even come in to use the restroom they are so private with us. The best people you will ever meet if your ready to do it right
