My experience at Journey Pure was literally lifesaving! I thought I could do it alone in my apt because I was ashamed of what I had become, me the one who wasn’t supposed to be in this place. Journey Pure called to check on me, so I told them the truth and a little over 24hrs later I was there! 2hrs after checking in I was taken by ambulance to ER and was in ICU for 6days. Had I stayed home and tried doing it alone, I’d be dead now. I had been dealing with addiction since I first got sick back in 2012, but really if I’m honest drugs and alcohol has been a heavy chain around the neck of my entire family weighing us down for generations and I’d been dealing with it my whole life in one way or the other. We all had. So I tried to avoid drugs like the plaque, then I got sick and the Dr.s began giving me meds so I believed that I wasn’t addicted because I have a legitimate reason, the doctors wouldn’t lie to me. Oh how wrong I was. I always thought that it was all up to me, that I had to break the chain so the others could follow, but again I was wrong so very wrong. Chains are broken one link at a time, at first by the few and
then many! Journey Pure not only saved my life but the things I learned there, by the grace of God, now is opening windows for others. I pray that if you are reading this that you also find your way. We are not lost only broken!

Had a great experience there. I had a hard time adjusting but Maddy, Gary, Ashley,genie , Aaron etc. Really helped me through everything. They even have an attorney destiny who can help alot to. 3 meals a day, they will pick you up, they have snack's, & more! Yes you can smoke in various breaks throughout the day. I wish I could've stayed longer than 3 days.

Great program to help the addicts that want help and spiritual guidance. I noticed a few mentioned the weekend fundraiser from residents. Well the program is free to them. So it makes since for individuals to help out with their housing, food, clothes etc. Unless and a family member wants to foot that yearly bill for their loved one then nothing absolutely NOTHING is wrong with fundraising! I have been going here I think 4 years now. Consistent. I love Diana!! She has helped me grow emotionally and mentally. She is such a great therapist. Her knowledge and patience has helped me step back and examine how I do things. I’ve hit rock bottom a few times and she has helped me learn and grow from those falls. I’m a stronger person because of her listening and teaching skills. You have to want to get better and put in the work. The therapists are not magic. They can’t heal you. If you don’t put in the work- you can’t get better. So make sure you are determined to conquer your disease. You can do it. If I can crawl out of the deep pits- you can too. You have to hold on to their words and use the skills they teach you. Be willing to grow. She listens and cares deeply about her guests. I am part of a group therapy also and it’s incredible. Our instructor Angie is amazing. What a beautiful teacher.

I’ve been going here for 3 years now. The staff makes me feel welcomed. That’s important to me because mental health still has this stigma behind it. Everyone I have encountered at this office has been helpful in more ways than one. They listen and work with you no matter the circumstances. Please keep in mind it does take time to see results of medication and psychotherapy. Anyway, thank you to this office for being a part of bettering my life!

I am so glad that I found this Health Center, it is all positive as far as I'm concerned. I wish that I had come across them 2 years ago.
