The therapists I have seen could be better I’m not going to bash their names and put it all over the place but I was told years ago that my therapist is supposed to make me feel better and they are supposed to help me but they weren’t really being that positive about things they made me feel like I was being scolded sort of it’s hard to explain how I feel but I don’t feel like they understand me at ALL and I put 5 stars because overall with CenterStone in general has been awesome at helping me it’s just the certain therapists that aren’t that helpful.I guess you just have to find the right person who understands you and I hope I can find that. I was only able to stay for 2 weeks due to health complications that were beyond S2L's capabilities. But what I can say is, after only 2 weeks, I came home to chaos with family & intense physical pain & I never once wanted to use alcohol or anything else to change the way I felt. The staff there are truly committed to the people they serve & unselfishly go out of their way to lift you up with the Word of God. I've been home for a little over a week now, my dad still hates me & I'm looking for somewhere to live with no clue how things will work out. The only other things I want to add are: 1. like most all treatment centers there are strict rules to abide by, go in with an open mind. These rules are for your good. 2. I had a crippling addiction to 7-0H. For those unaware its a concentrate of the molecule in kratom that causes opioid like effects. It felt almost as strong as oxycodone and is available otc for cheap. I was spending at least 30 bucks a day for 6 plus months and I wasn't even one of the worst cases. Tolerance builds quick. Its physically addictive just like pain pills. I started drinking every night from the stress and got physically addicted to that too. I did the detox program for 7 days and Im finally free and can actually hold onto my money. The staff and patients are so kind and you can smoke hourly. You can sleep as much as you need. Im staying on Suboxone therapy from now on. It you are hesitating to go please do it. I would have ended my life if not for them. Its the only program I voluntarily did and finished. Additionally, when I did call back the automated message stated that all staff were busy and instructed caller to press 1 for reception. This made it somewhat difficult to reach someone when assistance was needed. Improving the telephone response process and ensuring callers are connected appropriately would enhance the overall experience. Positivity 5 days ago they did have group therapy sessions. I'm glad I had the services. I'm not certain the social worker helped me. I did feel like I was in a jail. From what I saw yesterday, I am very glad that Trustpoint is willing to take on such a difficult task. The place was as "clean as a whistle." The staff was very knowledgeable about their procedures. Was told they aren't aloud to help appontment scheduling eity myself. I requested a transfer to make an appointment with my provider at their native locafion and was sent to OAS anyways. Unless you call OAS, This seems to be a policy moving forward. Calling corporate seems to make it worse so ide suggest users going forward give up on the idea of a perfect solution it didn't end well for me last centerstone I was at. I hope this helps.
