This place is awesome i loved it there i went in on july 28th.2017 the girls that i was housed with came off kinda acting as if i didn't belong but after being there for a week i met three ladies(older)that ill never forget accepted me into they small group and gave me a pep talk and told me to stay away from the younger girls cause they would get me in trouble cause they where still using and GOD knows i didn't want that my whole purpose was to get help cause i had lost everything and when i say everything i mean everything down to my shoes on my feet.Got cleaned stayed cleaned until December 13th.2018 one of my daughters lost her dad in a car crash i relapsed went back in got clean again but this time the staff had me in tears cause they never looked down on me i would definitely recommend this place.July 26th.ill be 4 years sober And i owe it all to GOD and BVI.

I was blessed to be able to go through their program. The staff is caring and attentive. This program helped save my life. As with anything any experience is going to be what you make of it and they will work just as hard as you do. I highly recommend them. I spent years suffering in my addiction. Years of using people places and things to try to fill that hole. This program helps you understand the nature of your addiction, the reasons why and helps you start building a foundation for self love and recovery.

I moved to this centsrstone because I was poorly treated at another. It's not that no one wants to answer I was told that corporate wants people to use OAS.
This policy was aggressively forced on me in another centerstone location. I goto this location and was recently told that the location is now enforcing this policy and are telling their front desk to do as was discussed to me ehich is to tranfer to OAS. Was told they aren't aloud to help appontment scheduling eity myself. I requested a transfer to make an appointment with my provider at their native locafion and was sent to OAS anyways. Unless you call OAS,
This seems to be a policy moving forward. Calling corporate seems to make it worse so ide suggest users going forward give up on the idea of a perfect solution it didn't end well for me last centerstone I was at.

To be clear your location is very well kept and the staff has always been friendly. The 4 stars is in regards to how well managed your location is. I just hate that the times are changing where everything has to default to a call center. It's something you are being made to do.
Great place for recovery. Staff are very nice and helpful. Faculties are clean and the property is beautiful. The food is awsome also. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs it.

Some of my therapist have been AMAZING and some not so helpful I think my favorite therapist and the most helpful was Rebecca Stamps I miss her I wish I could still be on her case load. The therapists I have seen could be better I’m not going to bash their names and put it all over the place but I was told years ago that my therapist is supposed to make me feel better and they are supposed to help me but they weren’t really being that positive about things they made me feel like I was being scolded sort of it’s hard to explain how I feel but I don’t feel like they understand me at ALL and I put 5 stars because overall with CenterStone in general has been awesome at helping me it’s just the certain therapists that aren’t that helpful.I guess you just have to find the right person who understands you and I hope I can find that.

If your teenager needs to see a counselor, I highly recommend Mrs. Stamps. I have watched her work her magic with a variety of teenagers. She is compassionate, honest, realistic, and passionate about her job.
I have been a drinker just about all my adult life. Genesis was the first detox I had ever been to. Since leaving, I am sober and staying that way!!! I do not even want the alcohol anymore more. It's changed my whole life and my marriage has gotten so much better. I never want to go back to that dark place I was in. Thank you so much

Amazing staff! The most comfortable detox I’ve EVER EVER had, they have so many different options for comfort meds and MAT meds. Only down side is that the food is inedible. Pro tip ask for broth

I went to Genesis for a medical detox to come off of the very legal substance of 7-OH. This review is meant for two things: The OUTSTANDING staff at Genesis and spreading the word of the dangers of this “gas station heroin” Firstly, the staff over at Genesis really pulls that place together. I cannot tell you how wonderful they made what should have been an uncomfortable experience. They are so incredibly caring and supportive. I wish I was better with names but a few people really stood out to me. One was a tech named Kassie. She has such a beautiful spirit. Next was my nurse the first couple nights he was the tall blonde guy and he welcomed me and was so very sweet. Next but certainly not least was the doctor he was an Asian guy and my goodness his energy was so caring and gentle. Now to my warning ⚠️ 7-hydroxy or 7-OH says it’s Kratom and while it is derived from the Kratom plant it IS NOT KRATOM. It is completely synthetic. This stuff is 13x stronger than morphine. The withdrawals are just as bad. It takes a hold of you and won’t let go. STAY AWAY FROM IT. Thank you Genesis for helping my start my brand new journey.

I honestly can't describe how absolutely great of a treatment facility Tony Rice is,the English vocabulary hasn't came up with the description of how to tell anyone how great it really is. None of the other programs that I have attended can be compared to the program offered by Place of Hope, I think this place is the best option for anyone suffering from any addition, the staff treats with love to be healed and come back to be happy. Thanks to this program I'm now closer to God, I noticed the damage that was causing not only to me but also the people I love. They saved my life and I don't have enough words to say thank you!

The structure, daily routine, and faith-based focus was just what I needed to start making changes. They could use a few more staff members but the ones there really do care. I left feeling stronger and steadier and they helped me to make a fresh start
The staff at this location of Centerstone are so Caring and Nice. Dr. Graves is a Wonderful Person, always concerned about the welfare of this patients. Vivian, the Nurse, is always so much help when you need her, she goes out of her way to help you with whatever you may need. Also, the rest of the staff are very nice and always willing to help you as well, when you need them. They have been so Good to Us, We Love You All and Wish You All a Wonderful Happy New Year!! Centerstone was nothing but positive for me, I don't think there is another place capable of doing what they did with me. Instead of only treating my condition as in every other place they treated me as a whole person in order to find out what was that I needed to be able to recover.
The staff at Unity was great with my mom. She stated they was very nice and she enjoyed being there. Thank you Unity for taking such good care of our mom.
I.m upset that I had to leave life care to go to centerstone. I didn't want to leave but I couldn't get my medication because I have medicare I would really like to go back to life care you all mean the life to me and treat me like a person

This place is amazing. The staff genuinely cares about your recovery and your personal wrll being. I have never been to a facility that goes above and beyond everyday to pour into the clients. I have been to several facilities over the past 12 years and Recovery Unplugged is the first one thus far that focuses on the underlying issues that lead to substance use, alcoholism, and addiction in the first place. Everywhere else that I have ever been wants to teach repeating classes on the brain chemistry and effects of drug use, relapse prevention, and codependency. All of those are useful, yes. But all of those are useless unless you address what got you there in the first place. I could go on forever but I will leave it at that. Oh and the food is AMAZING 😋

Probably the most important experience I'll ever have in my life because at Cumberland Heights they were able to teach me enough and convince me that my problem was real and addiction is a disease of the mind. This is the longest I've been completely sober since I started using 20 years ago and its all thanks to the in depth explanation of everything I learned at Cumberland Heights. Oh, absolutely!!! I've been to several "treatment" centers and have never learned so much or been trained kindly and with respect at any of them. As a matter of fact, I've found myself wishing that my insurance was better so that I could stay longer.
If I'm ever again asked for references for treatment, The Ranch (specifically) and any other Promises campus will be my sole suggestion.

Discovery Place will always hold a special place in my heart. Very comforting place. Top notch Chefs Craig and Zach make downtown style food 3 times a day. Daily spiritual classes, speaker meeting and the guidance is the best in the country. DP for life!!
I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025.
It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002.
I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program.
The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative.
Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional.
The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen.
I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery .
The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise.
The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics
Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience.
Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage.
It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me .
The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7.
All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety.
They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together.
Samaritan also has full
Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady.
Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan.
I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs.
And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library.
Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit.
My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff.

I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery.

Excellent care!!! I went in to detox of methadone and they kept me very comfortable! They made a horrible experience very tolerable. Great staff, nurse on site 24/7. I just can not give this place enough praise!!! Thank you for helping me get me back!!!

Well this place saved my life ! There where several people I was in the class with that didn't make it . I made it 😁 ! There were 2 teachers there that I admired . I just wanna say thank you and my journey is awesome !
