I posted a great review recently and had to delete it after the way I was treated over the phone with Lisa Stroupe. Let me start off by my very first appointment I remember hearing her get irate with another patient over the phone then preceded to go to the front desk to talk about this patient to the front desk ladies. The ladies at the desk were very professional and didn’t speak anything bad. I thought that was against HIPPA talking about patients in a public area which was near the waiting room close enough for me to hear it all. I brushed it off only because Kristin was AMAZING..Dr. Folley, amazing! Patti was amazing.. Yesterday I had called to find out if my medication that I was told by my doctor was being called in NOT because I had asked for ANYTHING!! I hadn’t!! Lisa had flipped out on me asked me 21 questions as to why the doctors have been writing me this said medication and that she is putting a stop to that as of today, told me there was no way I needed that medication and that they will not be doing that for me again! Again I hadn’t asked for anything, I had came there for help getting off a medication so what me and MY DOCTOR had talked about and she had offered what she would do for me to help me ease this process is suppose to be between me and my doctor, correct? How does an office manager have a say so? Don’t we have patient rights? Confidentiality?? HIPPA??. Because I know she probably done me the same way she did the other patient and went straight to the front desk to talk about me because when I had called today to ask to speak to someone about this situation I didn’t even say my name I just explained the situation of how rude this lady was to me and literally yelled at me? She knew who I was and apologized she was super professional and sweet. Told me the doctor would call me back and of course that didn’t happen. I have cried about this since she went off on me and questioned my care plan and demanded that she was putting a stop to WHAT THE DOCTOR HAD ORDERED.. which my doctor ordered it all along but I didn’t know. That’s not the point. The way she verbally attacked me is. I have never in my life ever been talked to like that from any type of program or doctor’s office. I have contacted other people because I know I’m not the only one that this has happened to and won’t be the last. She definitely doesn’t need to be working at a place like that with the way she treats patients. If I don’t get a call back from anyone to tell me what’s going to be done about this then I will not be going back. They probably could care less. I still may not regardless. I have talked to another place similar to this one and told them what happened and they were so shocked and apologized to me for them and begged me to come see them Tuesday. That’s probably what I’ll be doing. I pray this doesn’t happen to anyone else but from the looks of it she doesn’t understand or doesn’t agree with what the doctors do. She needs to find a different career. FYI the whole website with her little bio had me laughing because she doesn’t get all tear eyed when patients succeed. She’s going to be the reason SEVERAL will not be succeeding there. If they don’t do anything about this then that will prove to me they are not who I thought they were. I KNOW I’m not the only person to say this about the way she treats patients. What if I or someone else was on the edge of a mental breakdown? Think about it. I’ll be praying for her attitude towards others. This is a long review but since no one wanted to speak to me about this I will continue to let everyone know how awful I was treated because of ONE “office manager!” If she doesn’t agree with doctors orders I recommend she goes to school to become a doctor. That’s all.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs enable clients to receive care without leaving their home, workplace, and community. Clients typically receive intensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Many programs promote clients' long-term sobriety through recovery-focused life skills training and ancillary services, such as peer coaching. Medication assisted treatment (MAT), including medication induction and maintenance, are common in outpatient care. Most facilities offer multiple levels of care to accommodate clients' evolving needs, including intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient programming.
