Known as “Music City", Nashville, Tennessee, is an epicenter for country music and is home to Cumberland Heights Treatment Center. Since 1966, this private rehab has provided a full continuum of care for adults and adolescents struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Whether you need 24/7 structured support or can live at home and a | Treatments Programs Payment Options | ONLY GIVING FIVE STARS SO THIS WILL BE SEEN BUT IT IS BY FAR THE MOST INCONSIDERATE, FALSE ADVERTISING TREATMENT CENTER..DO NOT GO HERE TO DETOX FROM ANYTHING BESIDES ALCOHOL!! I PERSONALLY WOULDN'T EVEN SUGGEST THAT IN MY OPINION!! TO ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH OPIATES ESPECIALLY, FENTANYL, DO NOT GO HERE!!! YOU'RE BETTER OFF DOING IT ON YOUR COUCH!! THE 3 TO 5 DAYS IN BETWEEN BEING ABLE TO TAKE SUBOXONE WILL BE JUST AS THE SAME AS QUITTING COLD TURKEY, ONLY DIFFERENCE IS YOU MAY GET A NAUSEA PILL FOR YOUR STOMACH BUT THATS IT. THEY DONT GIVE ANYTHING WORTH A DAM THAT ACTUALLY GIVES ANY RELIEF FOR THE SEVERE MUSCLE SPASMS, HEART RATE, BLOOD PRESSURE, VOMITING, DIARRHEA, MOOD SWINGS, INSOMNIA AT IT'S WORST, INABILITY TO EVEN STAY HYDRATED. THEY WILL LET YOU SIT IN YOUR ROOM ON DEATH'S DOOR WITHOUT A CARE UNTIL YOU GET SO SICK THAT YOURE UNABLE TO GET UP OUT OF BED FROM THE DEHYDRATION HUNGER AND INSOMNIA THAT GETS SO BAD TO A POINT THAT YOUR BODY CAN'T DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE PUKING, SHITTING, YAWNING, SWEATING AND FEELING AS IF YOUR BONES ARE BEING RIPPED OUT OF YOUR BODY UNTIL IT SHUTS DOWN AND YOURE NOW LYING IN YOUR BED COVERED IN YOUR OWN VOMIT AND ALL IN THE FLOOR ONLY THEN WILL THEY GIVE A DAM AND THEN SEND YOU TO AN ACTUAL HOSPITAL WHERE YOU FINALLY GOT SOME RELIEF BY BEING TREATED AND SEEN BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS THAT KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING. MIND YOU THIS IS WHERE YOUR DETOX OR "MEDICAL DETOX" IS THE ONLY TRUE MEDICAL TREATMENT THAT IS GOING TO GIVE YOU RELIEF BUT ONLY AFTER YOU ALMOST DIE AND YOUR SO ILL THAT YOUR BLOOD BECOMES ACIDIC SO YOU TECHNICALLY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SLEEP FROM THE LIGHT MEDICALLY INDUCED COMA YOURE PUT UNDER WHILE ALSO BEING GIVEN MUSCLE RELAXERS BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS AND METHADONE TO HELP YOUR WITHDRAWALS DWINDLE DOWN TO MOSTLY SOMEWHAT TOLERABLE. ONCE YOU LEAVE THE HOSPITAL GO BACK TO CUMBERLAND HEIGHTS, BY THEN IT WILL BE LONG ENOUGH TO START NOT ONLY SUBOXONE BUT "SURPRISE!!!" 'SEROQUEL' FOR YOUR INSOMNIA 😂 AND 'REQUIP' FOR YOUR MUSCLE SPASMS AND RESTLESS LEGS, 'BACLOFEN' FOR PAIN AND ANTIDEPRESSANTS FOR MENTAL HEALTH 😂 SO IF THESE MEDICATIONS WERE AVAILABLE BEFORE THE HOSPITAL TRIP THEN WHY WERENT THEY UTILITIZED BEFORE THE DETOXING PATIENT GOT TO SUCH A UNSTABLE STATE OF HEALTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY???!! THEN ON TOP OF IT ALL AFTER YOU START SUBOXONE YOURE NOW PUT IN THE RESIDENTIAL PART WHERE YOU ARE PUSHED WAY TOO QUICKLY WITHOUT ANY CONSIDERATION FROM STAFF TO BE EXPECTED TO SPRAWL BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN DIFFERENT GROUP THERAPIES ACROSS THE CAMPUS FROM 6:30 AM TIL 8 PM ALL DAY EVER DAY IN THE HEAT COLD RAIN SNOW OR SUN MELTING YOUR SKIN OFF IF YOU DON'T FEEL GOOD TOUGH SHIT CAUSE YOU'RE KICKED OUT AND LOCKED OUT OF YOUR CABIN ALL DAY TOO. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING A COUNSELOR OR TECH IF YOU CAN GO SEE MEDICAL TO GET A MED PASS TO REST THEY WILL KEEP YOU FROM DOING SO AND THEN IF YOU EVEN DO MAKE IT TO MECICAL ITS STILL A LOW CHANCE THEY WILL GIVE YOU A PASS. THE ONLY WAY TO GET ANY RESULTS IS BY SHOWING YOUR ASS AND THROWING A FIT. THERES PLENTY MORE TO THE HORROR STORY OF THIS HELL HOLE BUT ILL LEAVE IT AS IS FOR NOW.. PS DONT LET YOUR PROVIDER KNOW YOU GOT A LITTLE SLEEP AFTER STARTING SUBOXONE BECAUSE IN MY OWN EXPERIENCE IN 2021 THAT SIGNIFIED TO THE DOCTOR THAT I WAS CURED 😂😆 AND THEN HE CUT MY SUBOXONE OFF ON DAY FOUR SO I CHECKED MYSELF OUT AND JUST WENT TO A SUBOXONE CLINIC, TAKE MY MEDICATION WHEN NEEDED AND ALSO DIDN'T WASTE 26,800 DOLLARS ON A SORRY EXCUSE OF A REHAB FACILITY.

Samaritan Recovery Community is a nonprofit agency that provides treatment addiction recovery services for adults in Nashville, Tennessee. Their services are comprehensive, community driven, and affordable to support men and women with limited financial means. Available programs include residential treatment, outpatient programs, and aftercare supp | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025.
It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002.
I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program.
The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative.
Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional.
The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen.
I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery .
The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise.
The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics
Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience.
Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage.
It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me .
The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7.
All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety.
They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together.
Samaritan also has full
Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady.
Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan.
I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs.
And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library.
Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit.
My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff.
If your curious how it happened - My story went like this….
I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery.

This place has gone way down hill. I have been a patient for over 6 years. The Dr’s, Counselors and staff are very nice and I thought that they all actually cared about patients until today’s interactions. Oh and the wait times are getting ridiculous. My last appointment took almost 2 hours. Then today I needed to have a Tele-health visit because my radiator in my car needed replacing. I live over an hour away from my clinic. I have called 4 times since yesterday and still no one has returned my calls. I am always on time for appointments, take meds as prescribed. Don’t cause issues. Today has made me feel very uncared about.
*** I wanted to do an edit to say that things have gotten so much better the last few months. I really appreciate the changes they have made and wanted people to know.

Brentwood Springs Detox is a leading drug and alcohol detox center in the south eastern part of Nashville, Tennessee.. The goal is to help you wean off addiction related toxins from your body and get it ready for the main therapy. Their medically supervised detox program helps you safely and effectively manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal. | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.

Tennessee is ranked 16th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,600.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Tennessee vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Tennessee. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Tennessee that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options.
