I was given the privilege recently of touring Freeman Recovery Center. Zach was gracious enough to show us around each facility and informing us of the full array of services offered. The staff at Freeman care deeply about their clients and their mission. Also, The interior and exterior of the buildings were very aesthetically pleasing. Freeman Recovery Center has consistently been one of the most dependable partners we work with, and I want to acknowledge the level of professionalism, clinical integrity, and genuine care they bring to this field. From intake to discharge, their communication is solid, their transitions are smooth, and their team shows up with the kind of consistency that makes collaboration easy instead of chaotic. They treat people the right way, they follow through, and they run their programs with a standard of excellence that’s getting harder to find in our industry. On behalf of Restoration House Ministries, I’m grateful for the work they do, the way they carry themselves, and the contribution they make to the continuum of care in Tennessee.

Recently my sister attended a 16 day Onsite Workshop for trauma. She recently lost her adult son, my nephew to suicide. It is difficult to put into words the profound positive effect Onsite has had on my sister. Pryor to going to onsite she was going to therapy and was active in a parent suicide support group. She continued to struggle daily. When I saw my sister after she attended the workshop, "it was as though I was seeing my 12 year old sister for the first time in 40 years". The care and concern the team showed for me and my sister made a marked impact on our experience. I am truly grateful to Miles and the Onsite team

Did an individual intensive here that was at the same time as a Living Centered workshop, so I did some activities with that group as well as being able to focus on some deep healing work. I had an incredible time, it was much more powerful than I expected. I did see the benefit of doing one of the group workshops, and hope to attend one in the future! The people at Onsite are truly remarkable, I will be forever grateful to the experiences they provide. I truly believe the work they’re doing has the power to change the world.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. My son’s father came here at one of the lowest points in his life, and the care and support he received made all the difference. The staff treated him with respect, compassion, and honesty—something he hadn’t felt in a long time. They guided him through every step and created an environment where he could finally focus on getting healthy and rebuilding his life. Today he is clean, sober, and truly present for our son, and I’m incredibly grateful. This facility gave our family hope again. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a team that genuinely cares and shows up for their patients every single day.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025. It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program. The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative. Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen. I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery . The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise. The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience. Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage. It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me . The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7. All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety. They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together. Samaritan also has full Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady. Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan. I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs. And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library. Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit. My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff. If your curious how it happened - My story went like this…. I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery. .

Not to be antagonistic, but most, if not all of the complaints on here are from people who were asked to leave because they refused to submit to the leadership of HC, or they just left on their own because they were not serious enough about getting TOTALLY clean. My son went through the men’s HC program 2 separate times in Waverly (which is located near McEwen). The 1st time he completed the program, but relapsed later and had to go through the program again. The 2nd time he refused to submit to leadership & was asked to leave. HC leadership is godly & loving. I highly recommend this ministry!!!

I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

Brentwood Springs Detox is a leading drug and alcohol detox center in the south eastern part of Nashville, Tennessee.. The goal is to help you wean off addiction related toxins from your body and get it ready for the main therapy. Their medically supervised detox program helps you safely and effectively manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal.
I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.

No structure what so ever clinical team has no idea how to help those in need. I was told by Chastity the office manager that I would need to relapse in order to stay at Pax as a client. I was kicked out with no place to go and no plan. Housing was ok but their employees are all users the housing manager tried to keep order but as soon as she left.

They provided transportation, food, cigarettes and a clean environment. Then I started to realize they employee addicts that where currently using the shift leader Amanda was always high picking at her nose and sniffing we all knew what was going on, she brought her boyfriend who was fresh out of jail to work with her colored her hair green, orange no professionalism what so ever. My therapist Joseph was in no way qualified to help me he was very rude and always disregarded my concerns. Ended up leaving and returning back home for treatment.

TERRIBLE! We worked very hard putting a complete plan for my husband for after care once the detox was completed. The strong armed into going to their “preferred” rehab center. Without knowing any of his past, they thought it would be a good idea to put him in a program where he goes to class until three in the afternoon and then can run the streets of Nashville with no supervision straight out of Detox. Even though I was telling them over and over and over again, this would not work for him no-one there would listen. He ended up going to their amazing rehab and only lasting two days Before we had to move him somewhere else. The nurse there even talked him into staying on one of the three pills he is addicted to and said she takes it in a shot form and it’s great. INSANE

While this place was a good environment and people and was a nice place, i was being gave sededatives twice a day and tramidol to detox me. By hour 5 of leaving there I was having withdrawals. Thankfully I was going to another facility but that is no way to detox someone. I was a opioid user being gave a opioid and being knocked out twice a day. We all finally figured out about the sedative cause we all got some great naps, all at the same time, and all fell asleep straight after night meds and that's how we figured it out. A sedative at night is fine, but after lunch?? No. They got their quiet time then. I would not recommend. It's a waste of time and money.

You will not find a better place to be a patient than this. The staff here is outstanding and will do everything they can to accommodate your needs and get you taken care of. They probably saved my life. Just be up front and honest about everything and let them make it work. It is the attitude of the staff and the level of comfort I feel when I go there that has made it so easy to continue going and stay on this path. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I continue to go weekly instead of going down to less appointments each month. The point is if you need a service that they offer here, do yourself a favor and at least come check it out. If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to give me a shout.
