Freeman recovery has been a God sent to my family. My husband is currently there and is now in IOP and I can truly from the bottom of my heart say thank you. He has been to many facilities and this has been the best one, there is such a difference we see in him. He has truly worked the program and loves himself again. We were at a point to where we almost had nowhere else to go and this place saved his life and our family. Everyone there from the van drivers on up to the top have been wonderful. I started freeman August 2022 and stayed with them for 8 months! I met some amazing people that truly care for the residents and go above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of comfortably during that time. Freeman offers wonderful classes and support! Only place in this part of the country that could help me. Had to come from over 200mi away because everywhere else had "doctors" in their early 20s that shouldn't even be allowed to practice at a rinky-dink medicine wagon show. If you're an especially stupid kind of addict like me, that uses substances too new for street names then you need to be aware that CH is one of maybe 3 places in the country that does actual research on addiction & novel substances of abuse. So they can and will do everything that is medically legal - regardless of bulls*** protocols - to properly detox YOU & save your life. In addition to the medical staff, the counselors, CAs, therapists and other staff were all wonderful. Special shout-outs to Natalie , Ed, Eddy, big John, Amanda, Deana, Jack (happy retirement!), Dr. Z, Dr. Sledge, so many others. Patient-staff ratio felt like 4:1 though it's probably not quite that high. Small-group or 1-on-1 therapy sessions almost every day. You can call family every day once detoxed, and might be able to have a visitation. You also get an hour with your mobile phone every 2-3 days. They hand you a tablet for appts/notes that also allows access to YT, being able to play music on headphones was a big deal for me.It's an expensive place, especially if your insurance is trash but it's worth every penny. First time I was here I stayed clean 11 years, second time they helped me pinpoint exactly where I screwed up and now I know how to stay clean the rest of my life.

The staff here are amazing! The depth of recovery knowledge and length of sobriety were life saving. So many loving people in one center made me feel incredibly supported. Getting sober is incredibly frightening in so many ways. And i couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm a little over 8 months sober now and extremely grateful for my new life.

The female doctor that I had there was amazing

This for people who have been on narcotics too long, rather legally or not. This place is for people who eventually want to quit narcotics, safety, and be reintroduced back into society as a functional, normal way of living.

This place has gone way down hill. I have been a patient for over 6 years. The Dr s, Counselors and staff are very nice and I thought that they all actually cared about patients until today s interactions. Oh and the wait times are getting ridiculous. My last appointment took almost 2 hours. Then today I needed to have a Tele-health visit because my radiator in my car needed replacing. I live over an hour away from my clinic. I have called 4 times since yesterday and still no one has returned my calls. I am always on time for appointments, take meds as prescribed. Don t cause issues. Today has made me feel very uncared about.*** I wanted to do an edit to say that things have gotten so much better the last few months. I really appreciate the changes they have made and wanted people to know.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025.It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002.I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That s a minor miracle in today s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program.The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative.Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional.The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I ve ever seen.I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery .The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise.The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooicsRelated to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience.Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage.It s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me .The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7.All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety.They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together.Samaritan also has fullTime clinical staff on site and Although I didn t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady.Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan.I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs.And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library.Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit.My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff.If your curious how it happened - My story went like this .I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery..

I had a great counselor and amazing head rt lady's. Not to mention the front desk lady's. But I'm sensing a change with this new building it seems there more worried about there numbers being up than true recovery I guess that happens when the head people that don't even talk or come by to see the people in recovery run things. They seem more focused on painting a pretty picture in there numbers rather than that authentic spirit you could feel in the old samaritan. And if that is what is really transpiring than what a loss and such a disappointment. Greed kills the soul!

Came here from the gallentin VA location due to doctor issues and Dr. P here at the plaza location and his staff were excellence. After many years of trying to get PT for my back issues one simple visit of Dr P hearing and understanding my pain he swiftly stepped into action to take care of me.Thanks team

Atlanta), I've received soooo much wonderful feedback about this Nashville Clinic(10/10):-Customer Engagement -Interaction/input with Decisions -Efficiency in scheduling appointments -Thorough Follow up(calls,texts,mail).In this time when soo many Of VA facilities are frequently criticized, this location deserves Positive Recognition!!!!!!(on behalf of my brother,a client for over 20 years).

I went to the next door in may 2023 if i could write a book about my recovery journey. God and the staff at next door saved this old lady life. I love you all but My case manager. Destiny My provider Emily My nurse stephaine. And all the ladies there was awesome to me I am back doing php and jen and the other ladies are great to. I would recomemd this place to anyone thats ready to change. The live in program is 28 days but if your ready for a new way of life it is a awesome start. I absolutely love them

I took a loved one here for detox, and an extended stay. The staff (while following all legal procedures) treated my family member with respect and empathy. The staff treat them like people, NOT like patients. They re accommodating and helpful. The facility is safe, comfortable, well maintained, and equipped to be a hospital without the irredentist lights and straight jackets.

Cam the Man is the best he and his team are incredible and made me feel so comfortable in the most uncomfortable of times. Cody is the sweetest. Bless Davis for getting me in, too. Can t say enough of how appreciative and grateful i am for them!!!!
